Pretty much the best place to eat at Snowbird. Vanessa at the front desk was super accommodating, moving me to the lounge as I was a single diner. My waiter John was professional, courteous, and personable (not fake), which was refreshing. The whole staff had an air of professionalism, without being snooty. Now for the food. Everything came out at the right time at the perfect temperature. The spinach, walnut, and blue cheese salad went well with the Liberty Cabernet. The duck confit was mouth watering to die for and married so well with the cherry compote. The compote, not too tart or sweet. I usually push the compote aside, but it brought out the flavors. The greens were done to perfection (not overdone, not too crunchy) and the mashed potatoes were good. I am a big fan of everything being equally delicious on the plate and this was the case. I even ate my carrots. I never eat the carrots. No salt to add and the duck confit was not too salty. Can't rush confit. Fresh food all around. Ski hats off to the chef on this one. So glad I found this place, as it is storming and I am now looking forward to that burger and fries tomorrow. I am not a desert person, but decided to have the chocolate rum souffle, which had a delicate texture and that subtle egg taste you look for in a souffle. I enjoyed the sides crunchy from baking and the crystallization of the sugar on top. The anglaise sauce was as good as mom's (which is why I am so food spoiled) and a nice accompaniment. A snifter of grand marnier went will with the chocolate, but I admit, took away from the rum flavor. Or was I just expecting hard sauce? Vacation save for this foodie snowboarder.

sorry this food is not good at all. if you are staying at the lodge just got to the restaurant on the 10th floor. the food and wine, excellent there. the lodge bistro food is sadly not worth mentioning. what a disappointment. the ambiance also a little sad. they need to raise the ceiling and get rid of the old lady carpet and decor. :-(

This was by far the best dinner we had in Snowbird. Wonderful favors , great service and fairly priced. We enjoyed the beef short ribs and grilled pork chop. The wine list has excellent choices at better prices than most upper scale restaurants.

Just finished Thanksgiving dinner with family. Fantastic food, great service and a wonderful view of the mountains of the Snowbird resort. We highly recommend it!

I love the mountains, I love great food in the mountains even more. Can't go wrong with the black blue and bacon burger. If I am up around lunch time, that's what I go with. The steak can be described in one word awesome. It's safe to say, that I love The Lodge Bistro.. Love you baby, see you soon.
