Fantastic! Great friendly service and delicious food. Had the massaman curry and Tom kha gai (coconut soup) which are my favorites for Thai food and I always compare them everywhere I go. These were really tasty and fresh. Had the spring rolls with pork, which were yummy with both sauces on them. Also tried another noodle dish that was too spicy for me (marked as spicy) but my hubby liked it. Will return!

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire valley and I eat here a couple time a month. Firstly and most importantly, Dawn is the sweetest human being on the face of the planet. She always remembers you. The food is amazing. We always get the lemon chicken, pad thai, or massaman curry. All three are wonderful!
(5)Susan L.
Great place- delicious food- excellent service!
(4)Thérèse HC W.
It's a pretty good restaurant. I like their pineapple curry. It was a big portion. It also came with a big bowl of rice too. I wasn't able to finish the whole thing myself. I've also tried their Pad Thai. It was the sweetest Pad Thai I've ever had. I have a big sweet tooth, but still I think it's too sweet.

Great place and simple but lovely decor! Friendly and nice service. The chicken satay was incredible - one of the best I've had all over the U.S. The panang curry with jasmine rice was perfectly cooked and the curry was delicious. It had a good serving of chicken but I wish they'd put a little less onions. Just my personal preference but others might like it. The Rad Na noodles were also very well cooked with enough vegetables and chicken. The sauce was great too. The noodles were the wide rice noodles and were tasty, but lumped up at the bottom. But great overall. Highly recommend this place!!
(5)Carol M.
The service was excellent and the green curry with shrimp was delicious; ample serving. Enjoyed very much
(4)Matt G.
Great Tom Yum Goong soup. Nice portions and fair price. Try the sampler appetizers with spring rolls (Vietnamese? ) egg rolls, wontons, pork and chicken satay with various sauces.
(4)Clint M.
We had a lovely experience at Tai Mango, despite being the only customer in the restaurant. We had the lemon chicken and massaman curry and both were delicious. Our server was very friendly and the background music was pleasant. Overall it was a good experience and I'll be coming back soon!

Hands down the best thai I've ever had in Sandy. (Is there better Thai in Sandy? Save yourself some time and do not tell me about it because I do not typically drive to Sandy for food, so you get to keep it to yourself!!) Wife & I came across this restaurant because of good Yelp reviews, and they are deserved! We got the spicy fried rice, which had perfectly textured/cooked tofu and just the right amount (a very, very small amount) of fish sauce flavor. We also got the pumpkin curry, which was very good, although the pumpkin pieces were a bit mushy (it was the *very* end of the day and the pumpkin supply may have been running low). Spice levels were nice and spicy for both dishes, and the service (for takeout) was very friendly. Finally, price was right for those 2 dishes: ~$23 after tax. If you're ever unlucky enough to be stuck in the hellish suburban sprawl-hole of Sandy, Utah, make sure you try Thai Mango!
(5)Staci K.
This place has the best yellow curry we've ever had. Pad Thai was good and the Spring rolls were on point. Peanut sauce had super flavor, but I'm used to seeing it a bit more loose than this consistency. We both saved half of our dish so we could have it tomorrow. Highly rated. We'll be back!

I'm really picky when it comes to Thai food...especially because I am Thai. I get delicious authentic food at home and I am from California (Where there are so many delicious options for Thai restaurants!) I yelped some Thai restaurants nearby in Sandy and found Thai Mango. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noddles) and Thai Fried Rice. The owner came over to personally greet our table and she was really extremely friendly! The food arrived and it was delicious! I asked for extra seasoning (Thai people always add extra peppers and etc.) and the food tasted as if I was eating a home cooked meal. Yummy! If anyone is in Sandy or looking for good Thai food I would highly recommend coming to support this friendly and local restaurant. :)

I was one a race marshal for the Tour DuPont. 1991. Given a per diem voucher only good at restaurants in each town that had made prior arrangements with the organizer. Hagerstown, MD. It was a Friday night. Decided on some steak and seafood option. Pulled up in front of this dump situated in an even dumpier strip mall. Best food of the tour. Best time of the tour. Made friends who later came out to ski and partied like we were all back at that joint in Hagerstown. Morale of the story is NEVER judge a book by its cover. Don't know how to segue into my review of Thai Mango as I'm merely completing a post I started weeks ago and I'm positive I had been drinking. This place isn't dumpy from the outside. The strip it's located in isn't anything like that place in Hagerstown. Alcohol ruins lives, folks! The curries were savory. The meats were quality. The veggies were fresh. The bathrooms were clean. The service was fast and friendly. The Som Tum was great! The Pad Thai was nice. The ambiance was everything one comes to expect dining in a restaurant located in a strip mall in Sandy. No biggie. My only complaint is they're closed on Sundays. And I'd love it if they had enough business to keep them open late.
(5)John C.
Everything was great except the Tom Kha Gai chicken coconut soup. Something was off about it. Maybe the kaffir leaves or lemongrass were missing. We were in a rush and since that was the last thing that came out we didn't have time to complain. Everything but the single soup was awesome I will let it slide this time.
(4)Latisha P.
Ordered pick up from here. Food is standard. FOOD Pad See Ew (3.5 stars) Pad Pro King (4 stars): Good curry sauce! Egg rolls (3.5 stars) ATMOSPHERE Smelled like the inside of a nail salon in here. So glad we didn't dine in because I could not eat with that smell! SERVICE Ladies who worked here were nice when we picked up our food.
(3)Chloe B.
So fresh and tastes! Very thing was cooked perfectly and the flavors went perfect together. We had the Springrolls appetizer. It was a great start fresh and light leaving room for the main course, Mango Thai Curry. Perfect combination of everything! Recommended by my uncle and so glad we went!!
(5)Rees J.
Wow! I found my favorite Thai place in The salt lake area! The service was prompt but most importantly, the food was fabulous. The garlic delight was unique: light, fresh and savory with a hint of sweet. The Masuman Curry rich, creamy and very flavorful. We moved from the Bay Area 8 years ago where we had a lot of great Thai options, it's nice to find one that reminds us of home. Great prices as well!
(5)Zuhadi Z.
I really love the Panang Curry here. Thick and tasty and when you combine with the warm Jasmine Rice, it is pure heaven. Seriously. The Tom Yum Goong was good, although i still prefer the one in Tea Rose Diner. I am sorry but this famous Thai soup needs to have the perfect balance of spicy and sour, with complementing kaffir leaves, lemon grass and galangal flavors. Thai Mango does well but Tea Rose Dinner has stronger taste to it. The half bowl portion is big though, enough to feed 2-3 people, but not enough to end the world hunger. I also tried the Lychee drink, and boy it was not good. It tasted a lot like chemically enhanced sweet lychee and my thought was this is not calories worth taking. I would stick to Thai Iced Tea. The service was on the slower side. It took more than 10 minutes for us to get waters on our table. They have like 12 tables and only one waiter attending to all of them that evening. Hopefully that's not the case for other days. I will come here again if i am in the neighborhood.
(4)Nathan C.
Nice atmosphere, good food, friendly service.
(4)Tony L.
Amazing food with great service. The massaman curry is super tasty. The potatoes just melts in your mouth. Chicken satay is a must order. Very authentic and full of flavor. Try the mango salad. Its hard to describe this dish because the flavors were wonderful. All i can say is that i will order it again. Its tangy salty and sweet and citrusy. Pud thai was also delicious. I really like this place. Highly recommend.
(4)Todd H.
Thai Mango is my favorite. All the staples were good here... Definitely try the the Papaya Salad!!! I had a Thai friend who got here three weeks ago tell me it is an essential dish today and boy was he right! I will always order that to spice up whatever else we are eating. Go ahead and try it!
(5)Nicole W.
We love this place, one of our favorite Thai spots in Utah. The red curry is always a favorite.
(5)Michelle S.
Hands down, the best Thai food I've had in Utah! The food is authentic and fresh, most of all, scrumptious! The only thing, they use a scale of 1-3 for their spiciness, when most places use a 1-5, or 1-10, so beware! I love this place since it's one of the few places that actually has a tofu Pad Thai on their menu that's traditional and not full of squash and other oddities that don't belong in the dish. They'll accommodate special requests, such as extra crispy tofu, etc. The service is awesome and it's always a good sign when the folks working are actually Thai. We got our food to go and it was so amazing when take out tastes as good as it would at the actual restaurant. Their menu is pretty extensive and they offer several vegetarian dishes that don't require special ordering, love this place!
(5)Howie O.
Love trying new restaurants and Thai happens to be my favorite food. Even though I already ate lunch I saw this place had just opened so I decided to swing in and give it a try. Wait staff was super friendly and was willing to go over the lunch specials with me. I appreciate the nice offer but I already know in order to get a good review from me they have to make a mean Laab. Food came and it was spot on, not bad for a brand new kitchen. I will be coming back and bringing friends.
(5)Larissa L.
My husband and I LOVE the food! Good environment and nice service!! I can't eat spicy food, so I ordered a half size coconut soup, massaman curry and a pad see! They all taste perfect!
(5)Robert P.
UPDATE #1 This was my second visit, again for lunch. I went with 3 co-workers. This time I tried the pad king with medium spice..... Absolutely mouth watering. Each person at the table really enjoyed their meal, even one of them went as far as saying the red curry was the best he ever had. Service was fast and great. Will go again. UPDATE #2 I've turned the whole office on to this place. We now order every other week a huge take out order when we are working overtime hours (we still visit frequently during our own lunch hours).
(5)Lisa H.
Decided to try a new Thai restaurant in salt lake city. So glad we did! The food was fantastic and we are very picky with our Thai food. We ordered the mango curry and the pad ped, both were extremely flavorful and very fresh. Our server was very attentive and did his job well. We will definitely be back!
(5)Mandy E.
I tried this place for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised. We had the yellow curry and the mango curry with pineapple in it. I wasn't sure what to expect with the mango curry as I had never tried something like that before, but both dishes were absolutely excellent! We were greeted promptly at the door and the server was friendly and attentive. We ordered eggrolls for an appetizer which were very good and served piping hot. Our food came out very soon after and the portion sizes were generous as well. I still had enough to take home and have leftovers - which were also very good even with being reheated (because let's be honest, sometimes leftovers are just not that great. But these really were!). This just might be my new favorite Thai place. I will definitely be back!
(5)Pretty W.
I really enjoyed the food and the service! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food (I'm Laotian/Thai). Their food was just how I liked it, it wasn't to sweet, just perfect! Ooh and I had them make it extra spicy!! They nailed and sliced up some Thai peppers.. We would definitely go back!!
(5)Rachel L.
I have spent many hours of my life trying to recreate the massaman curry because my husband craves it about every other day, and we now live in Los Angeles (making TM just a little too far for lunch). Needless to say, I think it says something if D (the pickiest person on the planet) can't find a comparable massaman curry in LA. Absolutely love Dawn, the owner! She remembers us even when it's been a couple of years since we've been in Utah (because yes, Utah = Thai Mango). I was pretty depressed when I couldn't make it to TM the last time I was in Utah and she had made me some custards because she was expecting me... :'(
(5)Jake C.
Top 5 favorite restaurants for my wife and I to come to! We come regularly and are always so happy with the food. My favorite are the yellow curry and the udon drunken noodles. The service is great and they are always so nice! Been coming here since they opened, right when our baby was born and they are always so happy to see her and how much she's grown. What a restaurant experience should be like everywhere you go!

Soooo freaking gooooood! Utahns, I have an announcement to make and I want everyone to hear it, Thai Mango is delicious. I'll explain the 4 star later as I know that is the first question, "then why'd you give it 4 stars" (in a high pitched snippy voice, I know you). Initial impression was great, small hole in the wall place, my favorite. Upon entering the food joint I was impressed with the cleanliness and simple decor, nothing to take away from what was to come... the food. I was seated quickly by a pleasant woman and was asked if I needed anything, got water, what else do you get in Utah? Am I right!?!?! Anyway, I ended up ordering the yellow curry with Chicken and two pot stickers. Guys, when I got it I was taken back by the aroma it put off, absolutely delicious. Your mouth begins to water, your spirits raise, your soul is taken... okay enough of the mumbo jumbo writing... the food was freaking good. The yellow curry came in a bowl in, for the most part, soup form. It included some potatoes, spinach and some other stuff. The actual curry had so much POW, that you couldn't resist eating it, it sang as a siren would, drawing you in closer, instead of death, pure pleasure. You also got a big helping of rice, which was good too. Anyway, for all you snippity snipps, I gave it 4 stars because it took a while for our lunch order to come out... by a while I mean like 25 minutes or so when there weren't that many people in there. I'm sure it was an off day, but I surely can't give it a perfect rating if it's not perfect. That was the only reason though... go now, eat the food and be happy.

Fresh thai food packed with flavor! I've tried about 10 thai restaurants in the Salt Lake valley and this is where I'm staying for good. The service is excellent - always very pleasant. I am obsessed with their Pad Se Ew currently. The curries I've tried (Massaman, Thai Mango, Pineapple) are mouth watering and the best I've had anywhere . There are still so many things I want to try, but it's just so hard when all week I'm craving my go to dishes. Check them out!!!
(5)Katie P.
The Garlic Delight is AMAZINGLY good!! Hubby had Spicy fried rice, which was very spicy. He's not a big Thai fan. Big portions, and we have to bring a lot home. Yummo!
(5)Ryan T.
Best pad thai in Utah. I come at least once a week. It's worth noting that as of 10/4/14 there is only one bad review on here. I couldn't believe it so I scoped out this person's profile... turns out they gave Rumbi 5 stars. That's right, Rumbi haha! If you're the type to give Rumbi, Taco Bell or Panda Express a high review, you may not appreciate this place. The rest of you will absolutely love it
(5)Tej D.
Came here for lunch and had there lunch special. The Thai curry was good but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. The Thai tea was really good though. The prices are service was great, but my dish was so so.
(3)Austin B.
I ate at Thai Mango biweekly when it was down in Provo and Dawn, the owner/server/hostess/does everything remembered my favorite dishes, along with the favorites of my dozen or so friends who went with me consistently. I moved up to Sandy and I've been on the hunt for a good Thai place ever since. After eating at every Thai place north of 4500 South and east of State Street, I had some favorites but nothing that I liked as much as Thai Mango; so I was understandably excited when it opened 10 minutes from my house. Why do I like Thai Mango so much? Let's talk about it. It's the only place that I'll order Rad Nah, as you can get it with crispy noodles and the gravy is rich and flavorful. Their curries (especially the massaman and pineapple) have a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. Their Pad Kee Mao has a great assortment of veggies, perfect amounts of spice, and just-firm-enough noodles. Delicious Tom Kha Gai. They also have my favorite Pad Gaprow in Utah. Pad Gaprow needs a good amount of basil, enough spice, and for the meat to be diced small enough to absorb the flavor from the sauce. Thai Mango kills it on all three counts. If you have celiacs, they can make most dishes gluten-free. My 3-month old is allergic to gluten and so my wife has to go gluten-free and Dawn is always willing to make whatever changes she needs to make to help us out. If the food weren't enough of a reason to go, Dawn would be. The first time I walked into the Sandy location, after not being in the restaurant for two years, Dawn remembered me and remembered my favorite dishes. She's friendly, she cares about her customers, and she's always looking for ways to make your experience better. Eat there now. Support this place.

This is a new wonderful thai restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The inside looks great and the table are spacious. Plenty of room for the items you order. The staff is wonderful at answering questions and guiding us through their menu. They were very responsive. We ordered some pad thai and massaman curry with white rice. It was all delicious and we could not get enough. Price are wonderful and have plenty of choices. They also have a lunch menu. I am coming here again next time I want Thai food..
(4)Keith W.
Serendipitously ran into some old friends here. They were connoisseurs of fine dining, and this was one of their favorite hole in the wall finds. Some of the best Thai food I think I have ever had! Great red curry, great green curry, Great lychee and coconut juice and I don't think I have ever had a bad Thai desert. Highly recommend! Not to mention great service to boot!
(5)Raq D.
I have only eaten there once. Their pineapple fried rice was really good, and the yellow curry was just pretty good. The pricing seemed maybe a tad high. I would definitely go back and try some other items.
(4)Cindy G.
Love this place. You can't order the wrong thing here, its all delicious.
(5)Mary N.
Good God Maude, it does live up to the hype! The Thai mango curry's heat on the menu was perfect. We took everything else mild and the blend was just right. (We are admittedly heat wimps.) We got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was stellar. The Tom kha gai was really rich. Really complex flavors in every dish. Great addition to Sandy. Strip mall barren location, no beer but a great option to go. They forgot one to go dish, that combined with the Meh ambiance rates the 4 stars. Go here...again and again. We will.
(4)Pam B.
First time= awesome! Second time=so-so. May have to try a third time. Seems they don't have a consistent kitchen staff. Good service, though!
(4)Jennifer V.
We absolutely love it here! I wish that I could give it more than five stars. The owner is so sweet and always remembers who we are and what we usually order. The food is wonderful..........the best Thai place I've ever been too!
(5)Lucinda U.
Find this little place while I was waiting for my daughter tonight. It is pretty quiet and as I sat there alone began to fill up. I ordered my pineapple fried rice and the food came out pretty quickly. Looks like it's a nice family owned place.
(4)Jeff M.
We had the pad Thai, spicy fried rice, egg roles and red curry. All were amongst the best I've ever had. So excited to have a great Thai place close to home in Sandy!
(5)Ryan M.
These guys are amazing. The food is awesome and the service is some of the best I have had anywhere. I love the yellow curry and the pad thai. If you are in the area and want thai. Eat here!!!
(5)Jeff C.
I usually get a Thai tea to drink but when I found out they had a lychee drink, I was sold! Very good, fresh, light drink with the lychees at the bottom. The pad Thai was too sweet for me but I mixed it with a little hot paste and the tingle suited me well. The pineapple fried rice was a great dish as well - moist rice and chunks of pineapple among the veggies. Appetizer was chicken satay. Very good, thick peanut sauce - thicker than normal but still good. Service was pleasant and attentive. Good menu. I'll definitely eat here again.
(4)David M.
This place has some amazing, unique flavors. Try the pumpkin curry or pineapple curry. Best curry in Salt Lake!
(5)Zack P.
Thai Mango is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I live out of state but when I come back I eat here as often as I possibly can. The massaman is outstanding. The service is great! She remembered me and my order from Provo! I have tried many Thai restaurants and I keep coming back to Thai Mango.
(5)Sheri M.
I've been to Thailand and eaten thai food in MANY places. This is by far, hands down the BEST thai food I've ever had!! My husband had the pad thai and I had the Thai Mango Curry. Both were absolutely phenomenal! Very friendly and prompt service. Best Thai in the SLC area by a landslide! You must try it!
(5)Lori D.
Great thai food! The pineapple rice was flavorful with generous chunks of chicken and pineapple. Very good flavor. I also had the mango salad and my friend had the papaya salad and it was excellent. Great mango sticky rice for dessert. The service is good and they are very friendly. Great little neighborhood restaurant.
(5)O A.
I was in the area and saw the great reviews so I ordered the pineapple fried rice and the massaman curry. I was expecting a lot and sad to say I was disappointed. Maybe if you go with lower expectations you might not be disappointed. I have had a lot better pineapple fried rice and curry in Utah county at spicy Thai. Fried rice was drenched in soy sauce and was not that tasty. Curry was better. Chicken was soft and tender, flavor was good. Potatoes were firm. Average price is between $10 and $13 per dish.
(2)Tannia R.
I've eaten at Thai Mango several times and every time is great! The staff is very nice and friendly. The food comes out hot and fresh. It's my first choice for Thai food in the Salt Lake valley.
(5)Sarah S.
Hands down the best Thai in Utah valley. Only Thai village in Provo can compete. AWESOME massaman and pineapple curries, the peanut sauce that comes with the (very fresh, very tasteful) spring rolls is on point, and the mango sticky rice is a flawless dessert (if mango isn't in season they give you jack fruit, which is similar and tastes equally good to mango). People who loved Thai mango when it was in Provo, make the trip out to sandy to keep this great place in business!
(5)Phoebe H.
Very clean and open atmosphere, very Thai decor and fun music! And the food is SO good. I had the Curry Gang Massaman with crab cheese wontons for the lunch special, very tasty and very affordable. Perfect amount of spice. And the staff was very nice and welcoming!
(4)Monroe M.
It was good, but it wasn't THAT good. Especially for the price.
(3)Paul S.
Excellent food and service. The waitress was super friendly and was very accommodating for my family with 2 young ones. Pineapple fried rice and pot stickers were amazing.
(5)Todd W.
Great Thai! One of the most flavorable Thai restaurants in Utah. Great Curry as well as Noodles.
(5)Joe S.
Wow, what a surprise. The food at Thai Mango is five star quality. Their preparations stand up to -or improve upon- all of the other highly-rated thai in the SLC-area. I'm docking them a star due to the environment. Some folks may find the decor and layout a bit off.
(4)Mark Z.
This is the best Thai restaurant that I've ever been too. We used to eat at Thai Mango several times a month when they were in Provo and we've been going to every Thai place we can find since they were forced to move. In every case, the other places didn't stack up. We drove from Provo to eat there last weekend and it is just as good as ever! They've added some things to the menu and we tried a new item and it's a favorite already! If you like Thai, you will love Thai Mango!!
(5)Ken V.
Continue to love this inexpensive, dependable Thai restaurant. Good curries and noodle dishes. Sensitive to the sensitive, they can bend spice levels without sacrificing taste.
(4)Kim And Betsy T.
This place is so clean and orderly, that we immediately felt calm and comfortable after walking in for a Saturday date night. The seats are also nice and comfy- all of this might not seem important, but we were really impressed by it. The massaman curry was delish, as well as the green papaya salad.. Yum. We also ordered the drunken noodles with tofu, which was mistakenly left out of the dish. We brought this to the waitress' (owner's?) attention and she graciously offered to bring us a new one, which we declined, because it was still tasty without the tofu. She felt bad though, so she brought us a free dessert, which was aaamaaazing. I told my husband the dessert was soooo worth the missing tofu. lol. Great service, food and ambiance. Will be back for sure.
(4)Carter W.
I have ate at Thai Manigo a few times and the food is very good. I eat nothing but red and green curry. The only minor negative that I have is the vegi's in the curry were kinda mushy the last time I ate there (to go order) but will continue to come back. Its close to my house. Their business would pick up, in my opinion, if they had a website for their business, since they cant fax or email a menu if requested.
(4)Sarah M.
Great food and such friendly service! It's a small business and they do great! Very impressed with quality of food and always so flavorful!
(5)Ryan B.
This was our first visit here. We had the spring rolls, coconut soup, green curry and pinapple fried rice. Everything was excellent. It was way above the average Thai we have have in SLC. Our favorite was the simple pinapple fried rice that reminded us of the stuff we would get in Southern Asia.....mmmm. Close second was the green curry which wasnt too thick and was just sweet and savory enough for me. We'll be back for sure.
(5)Wendy W.
Best Thai food in Utah. Our family goes once a week for the sticky rice n curry. Coconut juice. Never go wrong with their curry and soup!
(5)Lindsey B.
Not only is it the best thai food around, the prices are decent. Love love love this place!
(5)Michelle G.
Love this place, great curry and noodle dishes. My favorite Thai place in the valley!
(5)Laura M.
My food tasted reheated the noodles and the chicken were tough and dry. The place was clean and the server was friendly. But I will not be going back. I can make fresh and tastier Pad Thai at home.
(1)Mark B.
I've found it! The Best Thai in Utah - and believe me, I've tried most of them. I also travel nationwide on a monthly basis and sample Thai from all of the major cities and this rivals the best of the best (the best I've found is Toi Rockin Thai in LA). For Utah, this is The Holy Grail! Outstanding.
