Decent pizza. Low grade ingredients. If you're hungry and you aren't very picky this place is good. I'm from New York though so I have a real standard for pizza. I've gone there twice because I had some coupons that made getting two medium pizzas like $9. One time I did try their "famous" cinnamon bred sticks. They smelled great but when I looked at them after I got back home, it was essentially a sheet of raw dough. A thin layer that was cooked masked the inside which was completely raw and not edible. I didn't call or bring it back because I was too busy. Also I had pretty bad service from the people at the counter. Like talking to a brick wall. At least people would make eye contact with you back in NY.

Zero Stars. Compare Tenney's to the worst quickie pizza delivery joint and the pizza is worse tasting than that. I am so surprised that other Yelpers enjoy this place. Maybe it has changed management or has hit hard times.

Hands down my favorite place to get pizza. I love the crust and it is not as greasy as all the other pizza places. I will never buy a pizza from anywhere else again.

Alfredo pizza is great. Omelette was really great.

pizza sauce simply has no flavor. I counted 6 pieces of mushroom on my pizza. Crust was perfect. Chicken wings were under cooked but sauce was good. quick delivery

Zero stars, seriously. Awful delivery and customer service the first time we ordered and then they didn't even cook the cinnamon breadsticks the second time. Never ordering anything from here again.

Tenney's Pizza replaced the 5 Buck Pizza that we occasionally ordered, and today I had an opportunity to try it. The service was fast and friendly and my cheese pizza was ready in about 6 minutes from the time I placed my order. I'll agree with those who have mentioned that the crust is somewhat tough, but will expand on that to say that it has very little flavor to it as well. I loved the blend of cheeses that were used; this is exactly my favorite type of cheese pizza, if only the crust were tweaked. Overall, I was fairly satisfied with the taste, and the $4 price for an 8" pizza that fed my 4-year-old and me is unbeatable. Unfortunately, a few hours later my stomach felt really unsettled and I cramped up and had gas (possible side effects of heartburn?). I haven't had this kind of reaction to a pizza in years (The Pie), and have never had this problem when eating Little Caesar's, Big Daddy's or 5 Buck. This may not be the best bargain pizza buy for those with really sensitive tummies. And if you don't have a sensitive tummy, this pizza just may make you think otherwise.

Looking for a cheap pizza alternative to the Little Ceasar's or (heaven forbid you eat there) 5 Buck Pizza? This place is definitely for you. The small, medium, and large pizzas allow you to put any virtually topping on the pie without raising the price and the crust is tasty too. The pizza is a great price and with a BBQ or an Alfredo pizza, how could you go wrong? Though I will say you need to do yourself a favor and jump right into the Morning Glory Pizza. Yes it is a breakfast pizza. This pizza even has country gravy on it. Really. Also it was awesome. Really this place needs to expand so I can go to it more often as this location is too far away from me. Though I fear that if they expand so will I. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

It's close enough that if I go back again and again and am pleased again and again, it just may get top star honors for me. First things first, we need to discuss the breakfast pizza. Breakfast gravy and that's all you need to know. You can get it for dinner, and when you do you'll thank me. I couldn't do it all the time, but love that I have the choice. Secondly, I once ate about half of their cinnamon stick gooey pizza things. It wasn't on the menu, but it was a whole pizza of dessert madness. The kind manager (more on him in a second) let my group devour it the first time I was there and I definitely threw some elbows to get my (more than) fair share. The manager - his name escapes me right now - loves pizza and people. That's a good combination, because he was as cheery and excited about pizza as any man I've seen. Super friendly and willing to please with every order. Now, this isn't gourmet stuff. But it's a slice above all the other stuff running around out there. So why not give it a try? Oh, and there's a 26" pizza called the beast. It's $24.99 and if you order it and eat all by yourself in less than an hour they'll give you $100. Food challenge, anyone?

Best "hot and ready" option I've tried. Much better than Little Caesars and quite a bit better than Big Daddy's. The daily $5 pizza is always worth it and the service is always quick. I recommend it!

First, I want to state that I was with a group of avid yelpy folks when I came to Tenney's for the first time. I did not consume food from that visit. I went back again on my own, and did consume food from that visit. I'm a little disappointed in my friends. Most of them had eaten at Tenney's before, and none of them bothered to warn me about the major problem with the food. Could Not Stop Eating It Seriously. I usually have decent self control. I ate like five slices of pizza. Grazing. Just grabbing a small piece of a slice as I walked through the kitchen. It was sad. The employees are super friendly and recognize familiar faces. They have medium pizzas for $5 all the time, and each day of the week they offer one of their gourmet specialty pizzas for $5 also. The pizza is good enough that it's worth driving out of my way for, and paying $8 for a large rather than $5 for a large at the chain place that does that promotion. Seriously. So worth a few more bucks to support a local business, and the kids and I all agreed that the pizza was infinitely better than any chain around.

Writing a review for a hole-in-the-wall pizza shop? One that is found in a tiny strip out in Sandy? Yes, and Yes! Don't know what it is about this location, but my favorite Sushi spot (another review) and now my favorite pizza shop are next door neighbors. Enough about the Sushi, now onto the pizza! I stopped in this place one night after I had grabbed some sushi (dangit, another reference) just to see what this place was all about. The owner greeted me with a warm hello and we got talking for nearly 20 minutes about...pizza...but not just any pizza, Tenney's Pizza. Talking about the Brand, and the culture. I instantly fell in love with this place and I hadn't even had a slice. I told him I would be back and that I was bringing some friends with me...it wasn't as dramatic as Wyatt Earp, but I did hear my words echo as I left. I have been back to Tenney's many times, and have enjoyed everything from the basic Pepperoni to the Alfredo Pizza (who knew that would be so awesome...but it is!) to the Morning Glory pizza...yep, Morning Glory, a breakfast pizza, and it is GLORIOUS! I have loved EVERYTHING I have tried there. Pay attention to these guys as their product is solid, and as you can see by the reviews, they are gaining a LOYAL fan base. (of which I am proud to be one.) 5 Stars? Ya, you wanna know why? Every time I go in there, (even if I am not buying anything) I am greeted like this, "Hey Scott, what's up?" Yep, they remember you, and that speaks volumes.

Best value pizza around. Don't even bother with Little Cesar's!!! Crust is similar to NY style! Take it from a New Yorker!

I'm not from Utah so I used Yelp to find pizza. This place had such good ratings that we ordered pizza for pick up. I don't know what passes for decent pizza in Utah, but this pizza was terrible! The crust was tough and the toppings were sparse and tasteless. Seriously, if you are visiting from out of town, don't try this place for pizza! What a disappointment!

Combatting values at work. I would like to give Tenney's PIzza 5 stars for originality. I was very bummed that they had taken the Morning Glory breakfast pizza off of the menu when I called. They said it wasn't because people weren't ordering it, they were just changing things up. The good news? They had "changed it up." I ordered a Backyard BBQ pizza that had a root beer bbq sauce, corn, chicken, among other things. I never would have stopped to think about corn on pizza - but yum! Now it feels like summer. We also tried the Pulled Pork pizza (which replaced the Morning Glory). The pulled pork is from Sean's Smokehouse and it was awesome. I'd totally get it again. Now, the downsides. The crust is.not.good. Please have low expectations. The crumb has almost zero rise to it. I'm pretty sure it's precooked. The sides are also not a favorite. The cheese bread totally lacked cheese. I think there were 5 pieces strewn across the entire thing. The cinnamon bread looked bayouteeful but was super dry. I'll go back for sure but minus the sides. Besides, I have to try the Chili Dog pizza next.
