A great menu and the best pizza in town and now completely refurbished. Well done on the new decor. And great service to go with it all. The manager (M-Ray) is also the best. Very attentive and friendly. Usually we come here for pizza but had a pasta dish last week and was pleasantly surprised. They have a delicious chocolate cake dessert you have to try. Be prepared to share. It's huge.

After a long day of skiing we were craving pizza and found this place on Yelp. They have an extensive selection of pizza, pasta, and sandwiches, as well as ice cream sodas and shakes. 3 of us split a large deep dish Ultimate and it was just the right amount of food. Or maybe we were starving because we finished the entire thing. We originally wanted to get an extra large, but the waitress came back and said they did not have any more XL deep dish crusts left, but they did have large. I thought this was kind of weird, does this mean the crusts are pre-made? Either way, the pizza was really good and the crust wasn't as bready as I thought it would be (nor PIzza Hut -greasy). Since the previous reviewer raved about the soup, my dad went with the mushroom soup. I think it was called Gratinee au Brie or something. I thought it was going to look like a french onion soup, but there was no brie on top nor was it gratineed. Again, it was still REALLY good though. Definitely a place to try. Nothing's better than a hot pizza on a cold night!

So, we've tried this place a couple of times now. The food is pretty good. Their pizza is flavorful and has a good crust. Their salads are yummy. So, why did I give it only two stars? The service is terrible. Just terrible. Both times. The first time our server was very new, so we cut her some slack, but where was any sort of manager? Someone to help out? They weren't busy and plenty of other servers were around who could've lent a hand. The second time our server seemed more competent, but he wasn't very friendly and seriously, it took an hour for our pizza. Again they weren't that busy (which should be a clue people), and they could've brought out our salad and refilled our drinks, but no. No drink refills until our food arrived. No salad until the pizza arrived. We live close, so it's a bummer that the service is so terrible or else we might drop in once a month.

Great little place for a bite. My work colleague loves this place and she suggested we stop there for lunch when we were in the area. I've been here 2x now & I'd go more often if it was closer to me or downtown. I like the decor, service is fine, food is pretty good! I thought this was a local restaurant, but apparently there are more of these in Idaho. This is the only Utah location. I had a Chicken Sonoma baked pasta dish that was tasty, and they have quite a variety of things to choose from. What I really liked was the soup. By the recommendation of the waitress, I chose a mushroom soup that had the BEST flavor, white wine added, or something. I've returned just for that soup and I think I could LIVE on that soup. mmmmmm. Also yummy, the cheesy garlic bread and collosal chocolate cake (be sure to share it - very rich and too big for two!). Oh, service is attentive and quick, if you're there on a short lunch break. I LikE!

From my experience the waiters are all very nice and I have never had a problem with customer service. There food is very good but definitely not great. I do love their cheese tortellini and I get both Alfredo and marinara sauce. It's actually quite good. There cheese bread is really good too. Besides that I haven't been too impressed with any of the food. Overall a good experience but not great. I am a frequent customer because I love the tortellini so much.

Only reason it is a 2 star was that our waiter was pleasant. Unfortunately when you come into a restaurant at 1158 with only 3 other tables in the place with people, waiting an hour for food is just unacceptable. Very unimpressed with visiting this establishment while we are in town this weekend. As said before, the waiter was friendly and courteous but apology for how long the food took would of been nice. Oh well. Not recommeneded

Based on other Yelp reviews, this probably wouldn't be my first dining spot choice in Sandy, but I had a great experience here the other day. It's a favorite spot for some of my boyfriend's friends which is the reason for my visit to this strip mall area on the east side. I started out with their parmesan fries which were nicely crisp and came with a really yummy dipping sauce. My entree of the Ragin' Cajun was delicious. The noodles were cooked well and the sauce was spicier than expected, but not overly so. It was tasty and the sausage was the perfect protein for the dish.

Visited here for dinner today. Excellent food & service. I had Calzone, hubby had pizza and our friend with us had a Bree burger. We all ere pleased. Only problem was the Calzone was too big to eat it all!

Bad bar food that tastes like your 18 year old wife made her first "fancy" pasta dish without burning it. The pizza shouldn't be called pizza. That goes for every pizza place in the valley except big apple pizza. You go here out of desperation when everyone is closed. Or when you want a sweet PT Cruiser parked in your driveway for a minute while your cooped up sick and they are the only place that delivers except Dominos.

Overall the service here was great if anything the pizza may have been a little slow. However the pizza was great with a good amount of toppings. After finishing our pizza we ordered a tiramisu which was surprisingly good for a casual place. The only thing I would add and say is that this place had me and my husband saying "it's good but not the best" which is why I'm giving it a 4 as there are places that are better than here to eat at but for something quick and casual I would definitely recommend trying it out. Will be back again.

I'm so disappointed. I knew of Smokey Mountain in Idaho and loved it. I'm not quite sure what has happened in Sandy but year after year it has deteriorated. They have taken some of our favorite meals off the menu, changed up the house salad and their service has g one in the toilet. If I were the owners I would take a deep look into the management because we've been loyal and consistent customers only to be let down time after tume. It's really too bad. I'll miss it.

Food wasn't bad but the service!! I've never been hurried out the door so fast! I think we had to eat in 20 minutes and half way through our meals they brought us to go boxes. A poor service can ruin a good meal and that's what happened to us tonight. I would come back for the pasta... Maybe ordering it to go? On a lighter note, they do have a make your own pizza option in the kids menu (the reason why we came) and it could be a really fun thing to do for a kid. Food didn't take long to make it to the table. I really liked the Brie kisses appetizer but thinking about it I could easily make that at home for less than $8 and definitely a larger batch! All in all: Service poor, food okay, speed good. Probably won't come back.

This place used to be so good, dont know what happened, something must of been off with the kitchen staff, multiple things were forgotten in most all of our dishes, and my husbands callazone was so burnt it was barely edible.probably won't go back. I gave it 2 stars because our waiter was nice, you could tell he was frustrated with the kitchen as well.

I was excited to see that they make gluten-free pizza, so I ordered a custom one with feta, tomatoes, & sausage. The crust was a little thin for my liking, but it did the job. Overall the restaurant seemed fine, and the menu had a lot of options. The reason for my one star is that I don't think the crust was truly gluten-free because my stomach has been in pain all afternoon, the way it gets after I have gluten (this is all I had to eat today). I guess I should have asked to triple check that it was GF, but I falsely assumed it would be okay. If I could eat gluten I'd probably return, but not now. Sorry guys-- you just can't falsely advertise!

After telling him that I had already been on hold he had the worst attitude saying 'fine'give me a minute. I hung up and ordered from another pizza place. I understand things can get busy but the attitude was uncalled for as I am a paying customer and there are many other quality restaurants. This place is awful. The service is incredibly slow, and if you look in the kitchen, the manager and staff are moving so slowly they are almost going backwards. They are all happy, but they are the slowest people ever. No sense of urgency there. Also they burn the darned pizza everytime. You have to tell them to not overcook it, then they act all holier-than-thou and are like, "you want us to undercook it?" and we are always like, "no, just don't BURN it on top again." Smoky Mountain is a typical sit-down pizza restaurant with a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, and salads. Atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is friendly. We ordered three large pizzas for lunch today: pepperoni, BBQ chicken, and Hawaiian. There was six of us and three large pizzas was plenty of food. The pizza was pretty good but could have used more sauce and more cheese--Smoky Mountain seems to skimp put on toppings. Overall it was a pretty good lunch but I've experienced better.

It's hard to hate this place. What they do they do well, but it's like stepping into a time warp to the '80s. The pizzas are well made and loaded with cheap cheese and toppings on a satisfyingly greasy crust. The rest of the menu is the usual '80s pizza joint stuff. A few pasta entrees, some salads and such. Nothing exciting enough to want to try. The times I've been, the place has always been so empty that the wait staff is bored out of their minds and chit-chatting by the entry. Pizzas run $5-7 for an 8" personal on up. Entrees are $8-12. Pepsi products and a large selection of beers and wines. Sit out on the patio, it gets hosed off frequently and always looks cleaner than the wood-lined interior and cobweb covered pergolas hanging over the booths, but they're kind of trapped with the old difficult to clean decor that should have stayed in the past.

When I asked our server if the porter they served was a local brew, he said he didn't know because he didn't drink. Personally, I don't give a crap if you drink or not Mr. Mormon, but you should be informed on what you are selling. The garlic bread was pretty good, but really, how can you screw up cheese on top of warm bread? The pizza was pretty boring and nothing I'll remember fondly.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
