Yummy subs and great customer service. However my sub was a little on the sweet side. I don't like sweet very often. The place was clean as well.

Food was good but service was awful. We were only 2 families in there. Other family had food we ordered 5 subs, 3 employs were making them. They took 15 minutes then brought out 4 subs, the 5 minutes later brought out the other. Besides that clean just not so friendly service and slow service.

My favorite sandwich shop. Never had a bad meal. The staff is friendly and always give my son a firemans hat.

Great subs & great lunch atmosphere! My top 3: Cheddar & beef brisket, the Italian, and the New York steamer. Food is fantastic, owner is nice and personable. Just try to avoid the lunch rush from noon to one or else you may be in for a bit of a wait.

I was getting my tires rotated across the street and the wait was going to be over an hour. I didn't expect my entire wait to be at Firehouse Subs. When I walked in the line was almost out the door and they had one cashier, the manager. There were seven other employees behind the counter. Once I ordered a meatball sub I went and sat down to wait, 27 minutes later my sub was ready. It was decent but nothing I would come back for. I thought the delay was due to the lunchtime rush and new employees. My son got off school and walked in once I was done eating. He ordered a steak sub and he was the only person in line. It took 30 minutes for his sub and that was after I went up to ask like Phil.C. They definitely need to work on their system or they will be out of business soon. I grabbed a to-go menu when I got there expecting to return soon, I put the menu back in the holder as I walked out the door. I don't see myself going back.

The BBQ Beef Brisket sub is very good! It will be hard for me to try anything else here. The service is pretty slow, I hope that improves over time as they are all very new. Probably would give 5 stars if the service was faster. Met the manager, he is very friendly and personable. Will return soon.

I always get the smoke house brisket. Its on point. 4 stars for that. Havnt tried anything else. Atmosphere is awkward though... Experience would be better with a better atmosphere. They need to add surround sound or something.

After listening to the omni-present radio ads for FS, I finally bit when I drove down Riverdale Road and saw that one had opened. It wasn't crowded and I placed my order for an Italian, no mayo or mustard. About 11 minutes later I walked up to the counter and asked if my order was ready and the lady gave it right to me. OK, new shop, new workers, no biggie. First sandwich impressions. Subs don't have mustard or mayo. Well, some do, but not where I come from. The meat might have comprised at most 3 ounces on a 8 inch bread roll. Very thinly sliced and almost not there. Lettuce was limp. Bread was nothing special, kind of like a roll of wonder bread. Overall, the sandwich was just ok, not bad enough to throw away, walk out, and never return, but not good enough to entice me to return. Go there and form your own opinions. It really seemed like I was in a regurgitated Quiznos. Same style of sandwich. If I end up there by accident as a result of someone else's decision, I'll eat there, but that's it. FS, please don't sue me for telling the truth. EDIT 11/20/14 Lots has been said about people making phony bad reviews in order to get a discount or freebies. I do not accept freebies to get me to return to any business and have never asked for a quid pro quo on bad review or discount. Not gonna happen.

BBQ brisket sandwich didn't live up to the hype. Wheat bread was okay. Service slow but the restaurant was clean. Miss Vickie's chips a plus. Liked the Coca Cola machine with all the flavor options.

I've been to this place on several occasions. It's outstanding. The prices are higher than your average sandwich place. The quality is there to justify it though. I recommend the Hook and Ladder sandwich. Get it in a large!

Been here twice now. I've had the Smokehouse brisket & the Meatball. Both are very good, fast service the 1st time I went, a bit slower the 2nd. Good food decent prices & a lot of hot sauce. I just wish they had little to go cups for the hot sauces.

I have been here twice now and I have not been disappointed. I love a great meatball sandwich and they say they have the best. As far as a fast food sandwich place I would have to agree. I also had the smokehouse brisket and that was even better than the meatball! I love to go out to eat and am excited to have a new option in the Ogden are. It is very reasonably priced and better than Subway, Quiznos, and Jimmy Johns in both price and taste. Both times I went I had my son and niece and they gave us a plastic fireman hat that the kids loved. The manager came to our table on the first visit and was a very nice guy.

There is a right way and a wrong way to serve people. Firehouse subs definitely does it the wrong way. On 2 seperate visits I had to wait over 30 minutes just to get to the register to place an order. Then it was another 20 minutes to get the sub. They were unorganized, the manager had 1 speed slow, not enougj employees to handle the people and the production of subs. Poorly poorly run.
