Good food, on the spot with what you order. went for dinner and ordered ribeye, read other reviews saying they overcook their meat, not true. order rare you get rare. good service, ambience more family style with open setting, acoustics not the best but we were there for the food which was excellent considering where we were (no offense Richfield, Utah). ive been to other places in Richfield including all the steakhouses and this is the best. a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Been here twice - once on my way from LA/Vegas to Colorado, and again on my way back. Amazing food, plentiful portions, and great service! Especially for a very small town, this restaurant is a gem to find along the I70. If you're passing by or through Richfield, I highly recommend this place!

Certainly can't complain! I went with my two small children. They had corn dog bites and I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and prime rib soup. Everything was delicious! I wouldn't have changed anything. The place was scarce on decorations but it was clean and tidy and the staff was overly nice about accommodating my two kids. They brought them crayons when they looked bored and were very attentive to when we were through with our meal. I would go back but I doubt I'll pass through again.

A hidden treasure! If it wasn't for yelp, we never would have found this great family restaurant. Look for an industrial building on the west side of the street. You have to pay close attention or you'll miss it. The sign is very hard to see and parking is in the back. Very comfortable atmosphere inside, clean and pleasant. The Cesar salad was fresh and delicious. It came with a delicious dinner roll. The food is high quality and the chicken was a real breast cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back. Worth seeking out, especially if you're just passing through and you want fresh, good food.

I'm continually changing my rating of Sagebrush because they keep changing their policy on cooking to order. Sometimes they'll do it, but more often than not I'm told it's a health risk. Sure, I understand. Hand me a waiver and I'll sign it, just don't ruin a perfectly good burger!

This place looks from the outside like a low grade strip club. Just terrible. It's a good thing the service and the almost frighteningly huge portions of delicious food make up for it.

We followed Yelp's stars to this restaurant and were very pleased we did. I had never heard of fish and chips out of salmon so had to try! Wow! Very good! The service was outstanding. Our waitress was fantastic!

We were traveling through Richfield and the staff at a local hotel directed us to this restaurant. We are so glad we took their advice as the food was fantastic, the staff friendly and welcoming. I commented that I liked the salt (Real Salt...it was sweet and salty at the same time!) and was given a bottle from the owner! I had the salmon and it was delicious. My husband had the pork tenderloin covered with onions and apples and he said it was awesome! Wonderful way to start our vacation!

I really struggle with the fact that yelp is filtering all the reviews for this restaurant. They have 18 pretty decent reviews and are only showing 2 reviews that are 1 star. When my wife and I think of someplace to go that is nice there are only a couple we would consider and Sagebrush is one of them. The people in the area all know the Sagebrush as a great place. I hope I can write the wrong that yelp is giving this business. I have never had bad service or bad food at the Sagebrush, the last time I was there the credit card machine was down. They said no problem we will call you tomorrow when it is working and take care of the bill. They handled it very well! I had their salmon fish n chips they were out of this world. I have also had the grilled salmon and the shrimp kabob. All have been fantastic, well done guys well done! I still highly recommend the Sagebrush even if there are a few nasty reviews,

Pretty decent....they serve beer and wine, so that's a plus! When we ordered the prime rib they said it was going to be medium cooked, when we received it was more like well done. But it had good flavor, and there was good atmosphere. Way expensive though.

We had never been to Richfield, or this part of the country before, so were not sure what to expect regarding restaurants. This was a pleasant surprise--excellent ambience, food was wonderful, and service was pretty good. The outside (and parking lot) is deceptive. Once you enter the establishment, it is much more upscale than its outside appearances. Also, the food was wonderful--some of the largest prawns I have ever seen, and a wide range of selection on other dishes and appetizers. Highly recommended.

Last night I ate at the sagebrush after a long days travel. The service was excellent the restaurant is clean and the servers are friendly. The bread and salad we're mediocre but let's be honest that's not why you go to a restaurant. My bf and I both ordered prime rib medium rare it came to us medium well . We still ate it and it was decent, definitely over done for prime rib. Our favorite part was the blue crab topping , I wish I would have just ordered a plate of blue crab it was super delicious and was our favorite thing. It was mouth watering delicious actually . My recommendations are try the restaurant out and if you enjoy sweet buttery deliciousness give the blue crab a try.

In stark contrast to the winded and negative review left by Michael P., I will do just the opposite. My wife and I go here every other month or so and have been doing so for the past two years. We drive forty miles from the north, past the steakhouse in Richfield, to come to Sagebrush. The food here is exceptional, a cut above the steakhouse to the north, a quieter, more intimate atmosphere, and we rarely ever wait. Most of the time the service is exceptional with it moving down to average on a busy night. The prime rib and blackened ribeye are absolutely phenomenal. Certainly exceeds any other steakhouse in Sanpete, Sevier or Juab counties! Easily exceeds any of the 'chain' steakhouses in Utah/Salt Lake County. Definitely one of the best steakhouses I have ever been to.

Stopped by for dinner on our way through town. Service and food was solidly good. The cheesecake was excellent, my wife enjoyed the sirloin tip, and my own chicken with pasta dish was good though not remarkable.

I am really conflicted about this review....I really want to give this place 3.5 stars. So I decided to round up instead of rounding down. Let me explain why- the chef VERY OBVIOUSLY takes great pride in the food he puts out. Everything was homemade, even the buns for the sandwiches. That is extremely rare to find, which is why I believe 4 stars is more fitting than 3. I stopped in for lunch today and after reading the yelp reviews I was really excited about this place! I walked in and boom an amazing aroma hits you in the face and envelopes your senses! We were a bit worried because we were the only ones in the restaurant but decided to eat anyways. Our waitress was OK. She was friendly....almost a forced friendly. I asked for the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich is supposed to come with fries, but I do not eat fries. I asked if I could sub it out for a salad or veggies....anything that wasn't deep fried that I could eat. She told me she couldnt sub anything and if I wanted a side salad it would be $6.....the chicken sandwich was already 10$! Adding $6 just for a small salad is a bit outrageous- $16 a person not including drinks- that in my opinion is dinner prices. After realizing she wasn't going to work with me I added the salad. Now for the food: Chicken sandwich: The bread to meat ratio was way off. The bun was big and thick and the chicken breast was fairly small. The cheese was very good. The southwest type sauce they had on there, although tasty, there was just way to much of it. House salad: The 6$ salad was just your typical house salad. The veggies and greens were all very fresh and crisp. Pulled pork sandwich: my co-diner ordered the pulled pork sandwich (now mind you he is not a picky eater and I have never seen him complain). He said that there was WAY too much sauce (you could tell by looking at it) and the bun was too thick and filled him up too fast. The fries were very good and not only hand cut but but also well seasoned! Overall this place is on the pricier side. But EVERYTHING is homemade. I think we might have better luck with dinner. Not sure if I would give this place another try.

This restaurant was a great find. It was late on Friday night. We had a very long day. We walked in just before closing which was 9pm. (We thought they closed at 10 on Friday because of an Internet site). Even so they were very nice to us and made us feel welcome and not a burden like so many other places might. The menu had steaks, seafood and priced accordingly. We ordered our dinners. I had the grilled chicken with a loaded baked potato and vegetable. I also had their grilled chicken soup as a starter. My husband had chicken Alfredo with a salad. Everything from the dinners, soup, salad, and rolls were delicious! We will make a point of stopping here next time we're driving through Richfield. The lunch menu look like they had some great options as well!

Husband said someone recommend this place. It was just ok . I had their tomato and basil soup. It was cream of tomato with a little dried basil sprinkled on it. My husband had the salmon meal. The fish was over cooked and dry. It came with over cooked carrots. The wait staff was friendly and good at their job. The decor is nice. We just hope we came on the cooks off day.

Update Jan 14 The Sage Brush Grill moved to Richfield a while back and I finally got to go. I have to say the move was a big improvement. The new building looks really nice and feels great inside. I had their ribs and they were perfect. One of the few places in Richfield you can get a good bottle of wine. =============================================================== I have been to the Sage Brush four times now. Every time it was awesome. Frankly its the best food in Sevier Valley. For some reason Yelp is filtering the good reviews and only showing the few crappy ones. If you want a really good meal in Sevier Valley go to the Sage Brush. I have heard the chef/owner can be a character but never met him. All I can say is the man if really good cook, knows how to set a plate and leaves me wanting more.

The food was alright, but no salads on the weekends except a small one with your meal. They charge $15 extra if you'd like to use the "split" option for an entree...meaning they'll bring an extra salad, roll and potato. Ridiculous I think. You can, however, share your meal. No extra rolls though. We were only passing through so I'm sure another experience would be better, but based on this experience, I probably wouldn't go back.

We were stopping through town and came here for dinner because of the other yelp reviews. There were 2 small downfalls: 1. There is an extensive lunch menu with lots of delicious sounding and affordable meals, but these are not available for dinner, and dinner items are a little pricier. 2. Pretty terrible elevator music playing. Other than that the food wAs delicious and included a fresh salad with real greens, not just iceberg. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and there was a generous portion of my country fried steak. The country fried steak was not a real steak and actually hamburger meet, but it was super tasty so I didn't mind. Really friendly staff!
