Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Food just average, nothing stands out. Burritos had no beans, rice or cheese. ok alternative to burgers and steak. Quite inexpensive.

By no means bad Mexican food - but by no means great, either. The second photo below pretty much sums it up - standard fare.

Price could really use a restaurant that appeals to Salt Lakers on the way to and from Moab. Sadly this place is not it. It's like every bad Mexican place you have ever been to -- over cooked and under spiced. Keep looking folks.

On a long trip home and somewhat bedraggled from a weekend camping trip we just wanted something decent to eat in a clean air conditioned environment. We pulled up to a few horrifying food poisoning-worthy places and thought twice before we found this shiny oasis in the middle of the desert. Good home-cooked Mexican food in a very clean cute atmosphere. Feeling replenished and ready to tackle the long drive home.

The food in this place is 2 stars. It's not terrible, but it's just meh. I got the shredded beef burrito with rice and beans. The beef wasn't so much shredded as it was pot roast. There was really nothing strictly "Mexican" about the meat. It wasn't seasoned very well and definitely wasn't cooked "low and slow" the way shredded beef should be. The tortilla was your typical store-bought flour type. Nothing special. The rice and beans were okay, but again, nothing special. Another reviewer mentioned that everything was "smothered in cheese." This was not a problem when I ate there. Maybe they took heed of his review? I'm bumping this place up to 3 stars for 3 reason. 1- Service was very prompt and attentive. 2- They provide a squeeze bottle of HOT sauce for each table. This allowed me to "Mexican" things up significantly. 3- It's located in Price, Utah. Anytime I'm dining in a small Utah town, I'm happy to not be thoroughly disgusted.

The initial service was fast, the food was hot. However the chips were bland, and so was the salsa. My cheese enchiladas were good, bit the rice and beens were dry and meh. My husbands Chile reno and smothered burrito were not good. Drinks were not refilled untill they came for the check. The bathroom was dirty, and there was no changing table for babies. Not recommended.

Service was good but the food was really bland. Chips tasted store bought but salsa was chunky and good. I wouldn't return but didn't expect much out of the experience in the first place.

Nothing goes better with great Mexican food than a cold beer or a margarita. Two problems with this place then: 1) They don't serve any booze! 2) Their food is absolutely TERRIBLE! I mean, it was some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had -- like worse than Taco Bell, for cryin' out loud! I don't know what else I can say. The employees were polite, and the restaurant itself seemed nice enough...but that truly AWFUL food! And no booze! Ack...I think I'm scarred for life...oh, the humanity, the humanity...ohhhh......

Service was decent seeing there were quite a few large crowds of 10+. You could tell the waitress (yes, there was only one) was stressed but she remained very pleasant. No free refills which was shocking and pretty disappointing. Food was not so good. Had a chicken burrito smothered, it was bland but edible. The chile something and enchilada weren't even decent enough to eat. Wouldn't recommend unless starving and don't want mcdonalds. (Go to mcdonalds)

We almost always go here. We like the food, the smothered burritos are the best. The service is iffy, depending on when you go.

I go once a week. I love the salsa. It's fast and inexpensive food.

This is probably the best Mexican in Price UT the half-way point between Slate Lake City and Moab. I would consider this to be a Tex-Mex restaurant. The dish I had chicken enchiladas came on a really hot plate just out from under the broiler. The dish had way too much cheese I guess the hallmark of Tex-Mex. The rice was good and well as the beans. The restaurant is in a newish building and nicely appointed. I would have given 4 stars except for extra large amount cheese.
