The food is really pretty good. When they're not out of it, anyway. Pretty much every time I eat here they're out of at least one thing I try to order -- usually out of their spinach and/or cheese pitas and they almost never have pastitso, and they're usually out of at least one other thing someone in your party orders. The service is always bad, the servers usually don't know the menu and can't answer questions about anything, and I don't think they hire anyone over the age of 16. I guess they have a high turnover rate because I never see the same server there twice, so I don't think they're ever there long enough to learn how to do their job. I'm sad that this is the only Greek restaurant in town because I love Greek food, but this place irritates me so much every time I eat here that I've stopped coming here unless I'm desperate for a good gyro. Like I said, the food is good. The lemon rice soup isn't the best I've tried, but still quite good. The gyros, the Greek chicken sandwich, and the souvlaki are very good. If you're in the mood for Greek food and don't mind terrible service and their being out of half of the items on the menu most of the time, by all means, eat here.

The place is dirty and the food is mediocre. That's a shame because some variety in town would be nice. The people are friendly.

Decent, completely acceptable Greek food. The lemon rice soup was not worth more than one bite. The gyros, on the other hand, are totally fine and I'd get them again. The sauce was a little lacking, I could have used twice as much, but was tasty enough. It won't knock your socks off, but it's better then most other local options. It has a huge dining area with a surprisingly tiny kitchen. Good prices, which won't cost you (much) more than fast food.

Went here because there was not much around. The food was tolerable - the best part were the fries. We asked for our cokes to go but the waitress forgot so when we asked her again the lady who checked us out said we needed to pay for them ( after we'd already received them) since she'd forgotten to charge us. This meant having to run our card twice.. Most places would have comped the drinks and apologized for the inconvenience but here they made the extra effort to receive our negative yelp review.

I love the Greek Streak! The food is always really good. I love that there is a place that still makes most of their menu items fresh each day vs ordering frozen crap that they heat up. The service is always good too. It's usually pretty busy, especially during lunch but you don't generally wait too long. If you want to eat where the locals eat, check out the Greek Streak. Yum.

the food can be really good, depending on what you order and if they actually have it. The service is almost always slow. We love the chicken salad.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Greek Streak. One one hand, their chicken sandwich is AMAZING, as are the dolmades and the cheese pita (if they have it). On the other hand, the service is almost always poor. In some cases, it is terrible. I don't know if she works there anymore, but there was one waitress who it seemed was always the only one working, and she had a horrible attitude. She was the most impolite and nonchalant waitress I've ever encountered. It was like she was miserable to be there, and she made you feel like a burden to assist. Also, it is very rare that I've gone to the Greek Streak and gotten everything that I ordered. They are almost always out of cheese pita, which is sad because they are delicious. Why even list it on the menu if you don't have it half of the time? While the service is quite bad, it is the only Greek restaurant in town, and most of the time I just wanted Greek food so bad that I just put up with it to have that amazing chicken sandwich.

I used to go there years ago and had great greek food, but I think they just dont care anymore. The lemon rice soup was not edible. The crackers were not just stale, they were rancid. The Tavern Halibut was frozen battered COD, and the fries were soft and warm. The server took half off the check total because I really didn;t eat anything, so that was nice of her.

One week away from a visit by Robert Irvine. In fairness, I didn't try the food because the two things I ordered were both unavailable. The time in between those trips had me unnerved by the coughing baby stationed in the kitchen. I didn't try to order a third entree.

Picture this: I am on my way from South Lake Tahoe, CA to Moab, Utah (which someone at Salt Lake City described as "the place where the heathens live.") We have been traveling since 10 am and we are now driving from Salt Lake City to Moab, Utah, which is a four hour drive. The next day I am running a half marathon. I am tired. I am hungry. I do not eat fast food. I am elated to see a sign for a pasta restaurant in a rural town in the middle of NOWHERE, Utah. We head off the highway to seek it out. It is, in fact, closed. I begin to cry. Corey doesn't understand why I am crying. I am tired. I don't want to drive anymore. "I just wanted spaghetti. *sob*" We end up at a lovely little "Greek" restaurant called "The Greek Streak." We both order the gyro combos for $12.99. They come with a gyro, a side of pita, some dolomites and a salad. I request a "Greek" salad with mine. Then the waitress, who happens to be the only waitress for the 8 tables and 19 people in the room, looks at me and said "Oh, we're out of pita." "You're out of pita? Aren't you a Greek restaurant? How can you be out of pita?" "Oh, well, we have pita for the gyros, just not for the side of pita." "Right. Okay." Our salads come out. Corey's is lettuce with one tiny slice of tomato. Mine is lettuce with TWO tiny slices of tomato, 3 cucumbers, one pepperocini, and some feta. When we go to pay later on, I will be charged $4 extra for requesting the greek salad. Apparently pepperocini's are in high demand in Price, UT. They must be hard to ship in. The gyros were good, IF we had bought them at a $2 stand on the corner of a NYC street. I feel better though because there is food in my stomach and we continue on.

I have very fond memories of Greek Streak dating back to when I was just a little kid in the mid 80s and this gem was a must-stop for my father and I every time we traveled within a hundred miles of Price. I returned recently to try and recapture the magic bit found to my dismay that the original owners had passed away and the Greek Streak was being run by a former waitress. The food was still good bit it seems like the spagetti sauce which used to call to me with it's clarion song of deliciousness has lost most of it's magic (it used to taste strongly of lamb. I think they told me they made it with the drippings from a roast). The magic has been replaced with cinnamon. I've seen this in other Greek resteraunts and have never been fond of it. I'll stop in again if I'm ever in Price but the old song is fading in my ears.

I went back to the Greek Streak after close to two years since my last post. I was there with a friend, and we had the same meal & same view- Ordered: Gyro Combo with salad. I ordered mine with extra Tzasiki (sp?) sauce. The gyro was good. Rice Pilaf was ok. I forget the name of the triangular pastry.... No dolomides (sp?), so we both got the Greek Lasagna instead. Which was good. Not fabulous, but it was good. The sanitation is 10,000 times better than it used to be. This time we had a fine young man for waiting tables, very polite, respectful towards us, He kept the place bussed well and he took good care of all of his customers. I think there just might be some hope for the Greek Streak after all!
