Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

On a quick road trip to southern Utah, my husband and I decided to make a quick stop for lunch. We both wanted something that was different from a franchise option. We chose La Villa on Main Street in Parowan. We were both glad we did. The food was excellent. The salsa was good and there was plenty of it. I had beef taquitos (3) and my husband had a taco, chimichanga, tamale combination. Both were well prepared and very good. The beef was tender and well seasoned. The service was quick and and the ladies working were very helpful. Glad we stopped here and would recommend it to anyone going north or south on I-15.

Thanks for the food poisoning last night. I had the chili relleno and taco combo, I'm pretty sure the chili relleno is what caused it. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever tired. I could only eat one bite. The beans were totally cold too. I'll never return, I've never been so sick. Totally ruined my time with my family.

I used to hate this place, but they've come a LONG LONG way. We love eating here now. Salsa is on point and we could eat their chimichangas every day if my gut allowed it. Prices are amazing as well. Especially dollar tacos on Tuesday and Thursday. I can confidently recommend this place now.

I simply would not recommend this place to anyone. I don't understand how they can even call this Mexican food, my only guess is that they've never had actual Mexican food. I ordered the chile relleno, rice and bean lunch combo with a bottled orange soda. The food came back cold, the batter on the pepper was soggy and the egg to flour ratio was way off. They used mozzarella cheese instead of cotija or queso fresco. And the beans and rice were frozen dinner quality. I wish I could give this place a better rating, it's not hard to make great tasting Mexican food. You're better off going to Taco Bell or cafe rio.

This place is good mexican. Good an cheap. Get the big mouth Burrito. Taquitos for the wifee and some chips to go with the beer that sold at the Liquor Agency across the way. That's the secret tip for the day. Carne Asada Burrito Big mouth style smashed in salsa verde you got to eat this with utensils. Three Beef Taquitos with rice and beans. Good, not as, but good for what is. Tortilla chips freash fried in a paper sac with a side of salsa Yum! $14 bucks . Beer across the way $33 Buzz with friends, full stomach after a hard days snow, Priceless.
