Healthy Meal suggestions for Texas Roadhouse

We had a large party of 16 and were seated within 30 minutes. The steaks were flavorful and cooked to perfection. They accommodated those in our party with dietary restrictions. The service was among the best I've ever had.

The steaks we have ordered came cooked pretty well. The service was prompt and friendly. However their side dish option were lacking in flavor and freshness. Heaven forbid you order the corn. The atmosphere here is so loud and grating. Don't come with a group because the volume level of the music makes conversation and ordering a chore at best and impossible at worst. Not to mention when the staff starts screaming and whooping. An annoying place to dine with pretty good meat.

This place had changed so much since the first time i went. Or maybe I've grown up... i hope its the latter. I don't understand why this place has a two hour wait on fridays and saturday... (i only go on sunday... because in provo almost no one is out) It is as if they started purchasing cheaper ingredients but kept their prices the same. Their pork chops are super fatty and chewy, but they use to be so tender. Their sides have gone down in tastyness (the only thing i buy now is their chili) I got their sampler platter this last time... and it was... ehhh. Maybe this review is based on my disillusion with something I use to hold in such high regard. EVEN THE SUPER AWESOME YUMMY ROLLS!!! ARENT THAT GREAT ANYMORE!! This is a how a foodie cries... using all caps.

Served me the wrong ribeye - it was covered in cheese and onions - and instead of bringing me the right steak, they scraped the cheese off and brought it to me. I could see some of the cheese left on it, and it was done medium-well - not medium-rare like I ordered. I ate it because my daughter and I had already waited so long, and we had a movie to catch. Seriously, though - who the heck does that? Now my waitress did a great job, she wasn't the one that brought my steak out. The hostess was gracious and we were seated quickly. I'm a fan of Texas Steakhouse, and my coworkers and I eat here several times a year. Ate here, I should say - I can understand mistakes, but someone here decided that my money was important enough to take, but my order wasn't important enough to fulfill correctly.

Fun, great service, love the buns they bring you. Their BBQ chicken is delicious, and their steak is great. I've been here about ten times and every time I am totally stuffed when I leave. Don't bother with appetisers, you're going to have food left over no matter what you get. They bring you extra buns to bring home with the you. I'm not a big fan of their strawberry lemonade, it was too sweet and not sour enough. It was more like fruit punch than lemonade. I don't recommend their green beans as a side, they taste overly smokey. Pretty much everything else is great. The wait can get long, but they have shelled peanuts for everyone waiting so the wait doesn't seem like a big deal. Call-ahead seating can help save some time.

Every time my husband and I go to Texas Roadhouse we are pleased. Their rolls are really, REALLY good. They also have specialty drinks that are pretty awesome. Like another reviewer said, the steaks are $13 steaks, not $45 Sundance steaks. But they're good. I always get the ribs and they never disappoint. Do yourself a favor and get the sweet potato. Your taste buds will thank you. The only cons are you have to wait FOREVER to get a seat (60-90 minutes) and the waitresses are really flirty with my husband. He's flattered, but married.

Been to at least 10 different Texas Roadhouses and this one rules. Our waiter was Mark and he was probably the best waiter I can remember having. A+ stuff.

Expect your typical Texas Roadhouse: loud, crowded and peanuts on the floor, but add really good service to it. Service was very friendly and fast. I had ribs (which I couldn't finish) and a sweet potato. Family had an array of other meats. Everyone approved. Because it was my cousin's first time, they gave her free samples and a bag of peanuts to take home with her. The bag also doubles as a coupon for her to use on her next visit. It was a cute touch. Still love those damn Texas Roadhouse rolls which I should resist, but just can't! Also a bonus. I don't know what they are feeding those Utah boys, but daaaamn! They have some real hotties working there!!! Go for the eye candy. Go for the rolls. Go for the meat. Just go. You'll have a good time.

Texas Roadhouse! I kept driving past it since they opened in Orem. I HAD to try it. So I finally went a couple weeks ago. First let me tell you that as soon as I walked in there it felt like I wasn't in Orem anymore. It was loud, rowdy (in a good way), and honestly PACKED! We could barely get through the door. There was a line just to get to the hostess... After about 15 minutes standing we get to her and she said the wait was gonna be about "10-45 minutes," I was like okay? lol not 10-15 or 30-40...her "best guess" was 10-45 mins. Idk, I just thought it was kinda random. Anyway, we sit on the little waiting area (which was also packed) and have a chat for about 30 minutes then when we are finally called we are told to walk into the eating area and wait more till the other hostess sits us, which took about another 20 minutes. I wasn't too happy with their method as far as that goes. However, everybody seemed happy and cheerful...I loved the atmosphere overall. Plus my expectations were high and I heard wonderful things about their ribs, so I figured good things are worth waiting for and kept an open mind. Once we got seating our server came right away and offered us bread and explained the menu. She was super quick to bring the fresh warm bread and our drinks. Next thing I know we were enjoying our appetizer (delicious fried onion!) and just a few moments later our entrees. ( had prime rib and mashed potatoes and I was pretty happy about the taste. The caesar salad could use some improvement though. The service was BEYOND quick and the food was delicious and reasonably price. I was very happy and decided the wait paid off. I figured next time I will just call ahead. It was also a weekend night so it's understandable. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Everybody is happy and the food is great. The manager came to our table although the place is big and it was a full house night. I enjoyed my time there. On my opinion Texas Roadhouse is a good addition to the area and their rib definitely beats Outback. So fair a chain steakhouse KUDOS

Came here with friends last Friday at about 7:30 PM. Crowded! The wait was about 30 -40 minutes. But the weather was great so we just waited outside. I hate that new office building in the mall parking lot. It shields the beautiful views of the mountains. What is the City of Orem doing? My prime rib was excellent! Our waiter was a bit slow at first, but then again every employee in that place was working their butts off! The rolls kept coming and the food was spot on (again.) Love Texas Roadhouse. Whatever their formula is...it works. Manager was on the floor making sure everyone was happy, including us. Good job guys and gals. Good job.

This place is pretty good. I should just get a salad and eat that and the rolls because the rolls and butter are the best part. The bbq chicken is also super good. Oh, and the chicken fried steak

Yeah, yeah, I know. It's not cool to love a chain restaurant, and my credibility will probably go down proportionate to every star I give it. But I unabashedly love this place. Let me make you a list of why: 1.The rolls are stellar and they'll keep 'em coming as long as you ask for them. 2. The Ft. Worth ribeye is tender and always cooked to my specifications. (It is very well marbled, which might be off-putting to some, but I'm that weirdo that love fat). 3. The portions are always large, which is nice when you're paying $10-20 a person. I usually order a sweet potato and chili as my sides. Take home that, half a steak, and a handful of rolls and you've also got yourself a hearty lunch the next day, too. Suddenly it's looking more and more economical. 4. The early-dine option, where select meals are $8.99 before 6 pm on weekdays. 5. They've got a jackalope on the wall, which actually makes me feel like I'm back in Texas for about two seconds. 6. Really friendly service. Some of the best in Utah Valley. 9. For a sit-down restaurant, they're open surprisingly "late" - 10 on weeknights and 11 on weekdays. I feel like every other place in Provo closes at 8 or 9, so this is nice. My only real criticisms: 1. It gets reaaaallly noisy in there, and your ears might bleed a little on a busy night after the fourth birthday "YEEEEHAWWWW" (ugh) in a row. So I wouldn't bring a date or pretty much anyone you actually want to talk to about anything at length. 2. Don't even think about coming here on a Friday or Saturday night unless you called ahead, like, two weeks in advance. 3. Wings are meh.

We have always loved Texas road house and we are frequent customers. We love the rolls and the meat and the environment in general. I feel there has been a slight decline in quality of food, it's still good but I feel they have become to relaxed. I recommend the sirloin steak!

We were visiting Utah for the weekend, and went to Roadhouse for dinner (we sadly don't have them in Seattle). It was very busy on a Friday night, and the wait was about 45 minutes. Inside, we were seated, and ordered drinks. We both got a roadhouse roadie margarita. This was a bad choice. It was basically a cup of fruit juice due to the strict liquor laws in Utah (no actual bar in the restaurant like other roadhouses and the drink was very very weak), and nothing like drinks previously had at roadhouse. I'd suggest you don't waste your time on an $8 cup of juice. Then the rolls came out. The rolls were underdone, but our server kindly swapped them for cooked rolls. The steaks were cooked as requested, and the loaded baked potato was fantastic as usual. Bottom line - get a steak, skip the drinks, and don't miss the loaded potatoes!

I image the Texas Roadhouse was conceived in a place where there is a burgeoning theater because the maleficent management likes to turn up the screechy twang they call "music" and have the wait staff pretend that they just can't hold back, and they must take to the aisles and dance. Orem, UT, however, has a dearth of theater, therefore aspiring actresses are lacking, and when the "music" turns up, and they fall in to do their dance, there is a lot of awkwardness from their lackluster performance. I wish the management could just spare us by sparing them. Despite the dancing discomfort, however, I have been to the roadhouse before and likely shall again. This was my first visit to the new Orem location, and I think they may need a bit more practice. As I rule I LOVE the prime rib. It's smoked and flavorful, moist, and good with horseradish. The one I had here was good, just lacked that certain edge that makes me go back again and again. Our server was nice, and my 1.5 year old was really besotted with her. Our only mishap was when that server put a refilled soda in the kid's radius. He quickly grabbed the glass to take a slug of Coke, but it was too big, and ended up spilling all over him. We didn't have a good change of clothes for him, but the manager gave us a wee little tee shirt. Sure, it's an ad for their place, but it was dry, so that's good.

This Texas roadhouse is just average. Normally I would give five starts, but not this time. They have a very interesting way of seating you. When you get there they give you a number, and you have to watch for your number on a small screen (and I noticed our number was on one screen, but not the other one). When your number pops up you are told to stand in line on a carpet in front of the meat counter, in the way of everything coming in and out of the restaurant. They need a new system. The food was just average. My ribs were way overcooked. The salad was excellent as always. The chili was excellent, too. The Ribeye was very fatty. Usually there is some fat in my Ribeye, but this time it was too much. Rolls are excellent.

We love this place for a great meal at a great price! We split a NY steak and it is all we want. The service is usually excellent and they really try hard to make us happy every time we go there. One waitress even remembers our names and greets us by name every time we see her! Unusual! Lakeside Storage sends its customers there for the good food. The ONLY thing we don't like is that it is too noisy and not a good place to go for a buz meeting/meal or even if you want to visit with your friends.

Pretty standard for a national chain restaurant. At least they know ho to actually cook a steak to medium rare. I really have no complaints but not much stands out either. The staff is usually pretty friendly so that's a bonus for Utah county. The wait times can get pretty crazy during standard rush times. This location isn't a destination meal for me it its a pretty safe stand by.

Well, yummy food of course--just the wrong order! We haven't ever had the right order come out of this location, but we keep giving them chance after chance after chance. I suppose we should stop. We called in an order this last time. Everything was repeated back correctly. But, when we arrived to pick it up, the hostess went through all of our dishes, and we noticed something....the side dish on my girl's entree was wrong. They also did not get her steak right (it was supposed to be loaded, they forgot the cheese, and they didn't cook it all the way to medium--it was more like medium rare) and she had to microwave it. For some reason, it's always hers that they screw up. They also switched our salads, no big deal, we switched them back. We are getting tired of this happening, the staff are more on the bimbo side, sadly.....no more chances, unfortunately.

Very inexpensive food. It's the same price as chillis. But better food. Service is great, they are fast to get you seated and your food in front of you. They actually know how to cook steak here. And they are amazing! Best steak and ribs you are gonna find for the price! Great atmosphere. And great place to go on a date.

Not really that unique of restaurant. Not a great steak house. Mostly comfort food. No reservations. Long wait on weekends for dinner. Typical chain restaurant.

  • Aaron C.

So we got here and was told a ten minute wait after 20 we asked and was told we weren't on the list...got the next table. Food was the normal Texas Roadhouse food and price. Service was good except the little hiccup in the beginning.

I've had better steak at a diner for half the price, i recommend going in, eating a couple baskets of their delicious rolls for free then leaving

Yummy rolls, Chicken critter salad is great, house salad is fantastic if you like eggs which i LOVE! They did over cook my steak once, but mostly get it right. Main problem is the noise level is so loud that you have to yell to have a conversation.

  • Trenton S.

There rolls are great. The waitress was nice. I though the stake I ordered would have been bigger, but it was still pretty good. It was just a pretty plain overall experience. There wasnt really anything special to the restraunt. Everything seemed to routine. People rave over this place, but I don't understand why.

Ordered take-out/catering for Mother's Day--3lbs pulled pork, 3lbs beef kabobs, mashed potatoes and salad from Orem, Utah Texas Roadhouse. Got the food home and laid it out buffet style for an eager and hungry family of 10. After a brief period of eating/silence, one person after another began to complain about the tough and chewy beef kabobs... We then began to cut several open and found them to all be RAW--not cooked. Mother's Day meal ruined! Thanks, Texas Roadhouse!

This place is super good! We've gone many times and had different experiences. We've had the server that doesn't realize that performance is directly proportionate to tip size and doesn't care to serve us our food, but most of the time we've had servers that went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time and our meal just right. Overall it's been a great experience

  • D M.

Always good. My wife especially likes their BBQ Pork. I always have a tough time narrowing options down to just one. The rolls they bring out melt in your mouth and I love the butter that comes with it, a touch of honey and cinnamon... perfect. The only thing I would change is how loud it always seems to be. I went with a group of friends and could hardly hear any table conversation. Overall love the food and will be back again soon.

  • Christa N.

Food is ok. Our chicken was still bloody they took the piece back and it seems like they microwaved it. The rest of the food was very salty. We ordered cheese on our potato and was charged for it but it came out without it. One good part was the service waitress was very nice.

I'm torn. The food snob in me wants to point that this is a chain, it's always overcrowded, anyone calling TR's steaks the best around probably haven't tried much else, etc., etc. However, I do love the rolls. I do love the relatively good pricing. I absolutely love the chicken critters, and the steak isn't terrible. It's actually not bad. At the same time, though, I've never had a steak done just right. Last night I ordered medium rare, it came out medium well. I didn't send it back because it still tasted okay and, honestly, we're talking a $13 choice ribeye, not a 28 day dry-aged, $30 per ounce Kobe or Wagyu. So I'm giving TR somewhere between 3 and 4, maybe 3.8. The servers are always nice, my kids always love it, I don't break the bank, and the people-watcher in me laughs whenever they force a poor soul onto the saddle.

The first time I came here I was a little hesitant to try it out as I am very picky about my bbq. But oh my gosh was it GOOD. My mom and I came to visit from LA and my sister recommended this place and I'm very glad she did the atmosphere was great! Very fun and all the staff are very energetic and attentive. We walked in were seated right away and our server Cory came over to take our drink orders he was very happy and answered any questions we had. The food came to the table at a timely manner and was amazing! I ordered the steak and bbq chicken and it was very good the steak easy to cut and seasoned perfectly and the chicken was tender and had just the right amount of bbq. & did I mention the bread rolls! Oh my gosh I have never tasted anything like them. We liked this place so much we came back for more the next day and will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Great hang out place to bring family and friends! We even got their fresh roasted peanuts and buttered bread while we waited to be seated! Now that's what I call great service! Portions are huge and are great to share with someone unless you are famished you will definitely devour your entree! The pork ribs are cooked to perfection and the meat literally falls off the bone as soon as you start eating them. But of course the secret is in their delicious BBQ sauce which makes their ribs and everything else incredible. There is kind of at least an hour wait especially on friday nights but it is definitely worth the wait!

  • Sara B.

Honestly not too impressed by this place, I ordered the bbq chicken and ribs with a loaded sweet potato and broccoli. The ribs were ok, chicken so-so, but the sweet potato was pretty bland and my broccoli was undercooked. I have friends who love to go here, but overall I'd choose to eat somewhere else if it were up to me.

This is not the place to go if you want to eat healthy. They would not stop putting more rolls on our table despite us continually handing them back and saying we didn't want any. They don't know how to cook a filet, mine was RAW but my dad's came out ok, which led to us not actually eating together since I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring my steak back out. Our vegetables came out so raw that my dad gave up and dipped the crunchy vegetables in ranch dressing. I asked the manager for a replacement and they brought out slightly less raw vegetables and I gave up and ate them. The green beans we both ordered had bacon in them. We don't eat pork, and had told the server that when we ordered our side salads. Not only that but it should have been labeled on the menu. So in the end the only thing they managed to get right was a side salad and a very nice server. The manager initially wasn't going to do anything about our terrible experience but after I told her I was going on yelp and leaving them a 1 star rating she decided customer service did matter and took the whole check off, which was very generous so I bumped them up to 2 stars. Despite the generosity and the free meal, we probably won't be back if we're in the mood for a relaxing good meal.

Always excellent service and the food is just right. I had the BBQ chicken breast with mashed potatoes and a house salad. The dinner rolls are always tasty. Our server was Mars and she was excellent. She kept our drinks full, got our meals to us timely and even brought us a 1/2 dozen rolls to go. We eat here a fair amount and she was by far the best server we've had.

    (5)
  • Faith D.

Get here before 7pm and take advantage of their "early bird" specials! You can choose from a good sized list and it won't break the bank. Bonus! The rolls are the highlights of this place. Fresh, hot, and delicious! I think I could eat those all night long, especially paired with the cinnamon butter. The steak was good, the baked potato was cooked a little too long, but still decent on the very inside. The salad was fresh and crisp. My mom ordered a sweet potato and it was a good portion; she made an entire meal out of it. The service was friendly and efficient.

  • Wade I.

I usually don't write reviews, and usually do just to give a company a nice thank you for good service, but I am so angry after such a horrible experience I needed to vent somewhere. I took my fiancee there for her birthday because we wanted a good steak and Utah County has limited options. Right from the start our server seemed bored and annoyed she had to wait on us, and when I told her it was my fiancees birthday, shot us a fake smile and an insipid "happy birthday" sounding more like "Go *$#% yourself". The food was OK- It was a decent steak, though for a little extra money and a drive to Salt Lake, Ruths Chris would have been much more worth it. So, we finish our meal and our server brings the check. I remind her that it is my fiancees birthday and she tells me that they are out of ice cream and hands her a bag full of peanuts and sarcastically says "Happy birthday" again. As she turns to walk away, a group of employees with a brownie and ice cream comes out singing happy birthday to the table next to us! Now, I have been a food server before, and know how it can get busy, and also know how annoying having to go make a brownie for someones birthday can be, especially when you are busy.....however, the way we were treated at this place is completely unacceptable. I travel for work and will not be going back to Texas Roadhouse in any other state let alone Utah Valley.

I love love love their BBQ Chicken. This place is always packed but I can see why. The food is good. They train their employees to serve and serve well. Every place must have a "con" but I'm struggling to find one. Perhaps the only downside to our last visit was being placed near the restrooms. People were in and out and in and out.

  • Lindsey H.

I have been here twice. The first time my steak was overcooked to jerky and my salad was more dressing than lettuce. The second I had a rack of flavorless ribs and french fries with so much seasoning salt I was unable to eat them. Never going back!

    (2)
  • Tacia C.

The food isn't that great. Their seating system is extremely inefficient. At least they have rolls with honey butter...right? Maybe not so much.

    (2)
  • Isla G.

I don't understand the hype. I've been here a couple times because someone else paid. Their rolls and honey butter are pretty good but will decrease your life expectancy. Everything else I've had is just so-so. It takes them 'forever' to take your order and serve your food. Don't go with kids or waste your money on steak. The rib-eye was small, thin, cold, and overcooked. The ambiance is dark, loud, and crowded...and of course there are peanut shells everywhere. Some people love this place, but I'm not one of those people. I wouldn't pay for a meal here.

  • Siara C.

I couldn't bear to see this crapshoot get reviews as high as they were, so here's my two cents. If you want a good steak and ANY kind of atmosphere, head to Sundance and go to the Foundry Grill (where you'll also get great service, great apps/sides, and desserts). I've never been a fan of the steakhouse atmosphere, because I'm totally against the "quantity over quality" mentality. Even if I thought the food here was good (and I don't), it would definitely not be worth the waiting or the price. I hate the gimmicky, cheesy atmosphere, and the country music is the cherry on the proverbial sundae. Ick. Huge portions of food that bring new meaning to mediocrity. I guess the steak is ok if you can overlook everything else about this hellhole. Don't even consider eating vegetables at a place like this-- I asked for a sweet potato with nothing on it and they looked at me like I had escaped from a mental hospital. Heaven forbid I want something NOT drown in a sea of butter and sugar. CALL ME CRAZY!

    (1)
  • Jana C.

They have great food for a chain and the atmosphere is awesome. I've always had really amazing waiters - but the hostesses are generally cold and a bit frantic (I get it, it's always crowded and noisy) but luckily you only have to deal with them for a minute or two. People come here for the bread, too - which is good, if you eat bread. Their desserts aren't anything to write home about, but you're not here for dessert, right? Definitely call ahead before you go with a group - especially on weekends - but heads up, they don't seat you til everyone is there (common policy, I think).

  • Rod S.

I'm shocked I'm giving it this high a rating. I really dislike chain restaurants, theme restaurants and country music. I can't think of a place that gives you more food for the dollar, that doesn't suck than TR. I've been to a couple other TRs and had pretty much similar experiences, but this review is all about Orem. I know the meat is bottom shelf USDA "choice". I have no idea what they do to turn slightly overcooked (I like true medium rare) "prime" rib into something that still tastes good. With some of the raw horseradish mixed into the creamy horseradish, it's very good. The rolls are good. The salads are very acceptable. The baked potatoes are really good. The beer selection mostly sucks -- all Bud and Cutthroat. However, their corkage is really cheap. Most everyone seems genuinely happy you are there. This is a chain that has obviously spent a lot of time and science into figuring out what I should like. In this case, it pretty much works. I'm still shocked I like it. I've been here enough to know it's not a fluke. A small note: get the call ahead number and call ahead. It makes a difference. Also, don't come on a weekend. It's much nicer on a Wednesday night.

  • Justin G.

If it weren't for the ridiculous wait, I would give this place five stars. Both times I've gone (because you can't make a reservation, and their rules with call-ahead seating are complex), I've ended up waiting in an extremely crowded waiting room for more than an hour. While that's a testament to it's popularity, I feel like the owners almost encourage it, as reservations would eliminate the problem. Still, the fact that I'm giving it 4 stars shows that once you are seated, the experience is completely different. The service is great, the steaks are amazing and cooked perfectly to order, and the side dishes compliment the meal perfectly. If you want a really good steak, I would recommend going early for dinner, before the rush starts (5:00 would probably do it). Then you can eat your leftovers later that night if you get hungry again ;)

  • Corbin A.

I'm consistently impressed with the food at Texas Roadhouse, so much so that I believe it deserves 5 stars, the which I don't give very often. The value seems just right when you stack it up with competitors. My last meal here was Feb. 4, 2011. The food was the BEST I've ever tasted in all my experience dining there. My wife and I each got a meal and split. We got the 6oz Filet and the RIbs (larger portion). The flavors were out of this world. I didn't even need A1 for my Filet, THAT's how good it was. The ribs kicked butt as usual; fall-off-the-bone meat, amazing. I got the caesar salad side, excellent. Got the sweet potato, loaded...EXCELLENT. To sum it up, I feel like I'm getting my money's worth at this place. We almost always have excellent servers, this last time around we had a bit of a dud, but we survived.

Our server was very cool! He seemed genuinely excited that we were all ordering DRINKS and he was eager to run down the draft beer and cocktail offerings for us. He told us about the amazing special that night and was right on top of everything we needed throughout the night. 5-star service, for sure! The food was delicious, as it always is at the TR location near our home in SLC, but there was one major problem. The guy cooking the steaks was apparently deathly afraid of serving undercooked meat. Everything we got was well-done. And I don't mean, "well-done sir!" I mean OVERcooked. I ordered my sirloin tips medium rare and was "warned" by our server that m.r. means pink with a cool center. Perfect! Lisa ordered the steak kababs (medium rare) and Grandpa ordered the ribeye (medium). There wasn't a stitch of pink in any of our meals. I asked for a replacement and requested it "bloody as Hell." The new meal came and it was somewhere between rare and medium rare. Excellent. But by that time, I was so full of peanuts, rolls, salad and beer that I was only able to enjoy 3 or 4 bites. Everything was excellent and wonderful here except for three things: 1- BYU garbage and propaganda strewn about the place (understandable here in the occupied territories). 2- The interruption of our meal with annoying birthday cheers every 5 minutes (again, it's a Utah County thing). Were any of them "actual" birthdays? Or just a ploy for free food? Your guess is as good as mine. 3- Memo to the chef. Stop desecrating the meat! High quality beef should be finessed, seared and served nearly raw in the middle. If you disagree, then go across the street and work for Sizzler.

This was my first experience here at this location. I believe our party of 16 enjoyed their individual plates. I had a side salad and Cheese fries. Everything was up to par. As I've always felt, Texas Roadhouse has good tasting food. They seem to be rather consistent. I feel their portions are on the small side. I would have a hard time believing anyone would be disappointed eating here - unless you are the type to complain about every location you eat at. A note to groups: Texas Roadhouse is NOT good for groups. If you have more than six in your group, chances are you will be split up. I think some of the locations vary in their interior dimensions.

Absolutely love the roadhouse. Favorite steakhouse. The rolls are delicious and unlimited. Eat your peanuts and throw the shells on the ground. Great fun environment. I always get the ribeye with house salad and steak fries. If you go before 6 pm its an early bird special. You can never go wrong at Texas Roadhouse.

Its so average. I asked my server how the veggies are prepared, she said they microwaved them! Mmmmmmmmm! Plus, when you go its half the restaurants birthday! So, if you like country music, microwaved food and watching lots of birthdays! Enjoy!

Where are you going to go on a Sunday night in Orem? Texas Roadhouse! This place was full of people enjoying themselves and having a good time. The hostess was friendly and who doesn't like to get hot fresh rolls right as you sit down? Since I ate too many red vines and peanut m&m's at the movies (The Artist, if you haven't seen it, go see it) I wasn't starving but thought that my "appetizers" shouldn't count as a meal. I shared a chicken sandwich and we asked for the hot sauce on the side that they use on the buffalo wings and a house salad. I was surprise to see that the house salad had hard boiled egg, tomato, etc... and was a good size (since I was sharing and really only wanted the salad). The chicken sandwich was great, the chicken wasn't dry but I suggest getting the mild sauce unless you're like my friend and likes it when your face melts off from the spiciness. If you want a beer or a glass of anything, you have to ask the waiter how much it is, because it's not listed on their menu, just that they have it? I've never seen this and chalked it up to "It must be a Utah thing?" Pretty silly, but I guess once your a customer you already know what your best buy for a drink is and you don't care. I'll go back and now I know their beers range between $3.75-$4.50. ;)

Great service, rowdy place (the fun way) I had the onion . Quite nice, just like the outback, but better. Then the ribs. Slow cook ribs, awesome. The sauce is ok, but the meat were nice. the apple pie, skip the pie.

Let me start by saying Kimmy our server was awesome! They ran out of rolls (our favorite rolls anywhere) so she gave us an appetizer for free. Then they had a mixup in the kitchen, so the kitchen manager came out personally and apologized for the mixup! I don't know how many times I have gone to other restaurants only to be severely disappointed with the service. Despite all the mixups, I will come back to Texas Roadhouse again and again because of the spectacular service by Kimmy and the management there! They took what could have been a very disappointing experience into a lifetime customer! Thank you for the Awesome service!

We go there every now and again because the food is good. But every time we go, the service is poor and the noise is overwhelming. When we go for take-out, they got my order wrong, over-charged me, made me wait in the restaurant 20 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready, and then I had to drive back after they left things out of my order. No apologies, no help, just a bad experience.

This place looked better than it was. I've had fast food hamburgers with better flavor than the meat I got here. Admittedly, I got an item called "roadkill" because it was a cheaper option (it was $9), but you know, why put something on your menu if it isn't good? My wife got the shrimp kabab, which was decent (she shared with me), but it came on a bed of rice that literally tasted like it had been soaked in butter. I'm dead serious. It was gross! We were also given what we're pretty sure were canned veggies heated in a microwave, which were terrible. And like other reviewers have mentioned, there did seem to be a lot of birthdays.

Best ribs around! Choice of several delicious sides. All meals includes delicious hot rolls with cinnamon butter - as many as you can eat. Prices are reasonable. Great Place to take a family. We've been to the restaurants in St. George, Orem and Salt Lake and they've all had great food and excellent service!

As good as this type of place can be. Service was excellent, steaks cooked to perfection and cold, cold beer. Fun, vibrant atmosphere too.

I like this place because you can get a ton of food for about ten bucks. It's a great value if you can can actually get in there. Love the food, but hate the crowd. it is really noisy in there. If you like a party atmosphere, this place is for you. Quit dinner. Not so much.

Even with a reservation we had to wait 50 minutes to be seated and even then half of our party was seated and the other half 15 minutes later at an entirely separate table. It was so hot at our table it was terribly uncomfortable. They got our order wrong 5 times, literally, before they got it right. Their dish washer backed up and they had to bring us our drinks in foam kids cups which they couldn't keep full fast enough because they were so small. I ordered my steak cook medium, and it was well done and cooked gray all the way through. It was dry, over cooked and I was not impressed with our entire experience.

If this place is as good as the other reviews say then I live on a different planet. The ribs have never seen smoke and yes they fall off the bone but that is because they are overcooked. Service is mediocre. It is one of those places where "fun" has replaced flavor. Average French fries, average salads, steaks are properly cooked. Bacon cheese burger apparently comes without bacon. Kinda odd. Prices are ok. No reason to go again.
