Firehouse Subs beats out all the sub competition if you know how to order right. I always get the sub on a club but all the sandwiches are great. Just make sure you ask for grilled onions and grilled bell peppers and then douse the whole thing with the captain's sauce! Captain Sorenson's Datil pepper sauce that is. You can thank me later.

I really like these subs. They have a lot of sauces you can try that are really good to mix with your sub. The brisket sandwich is definitely recommended.

Nope, never again. Went there recently and the staff was rude and impatient. I had never been there before and I even told them that. I asked for suggestions and the guy pointed to the menu and said, "these are the options." Umm okay, that doesn't actually answer my question. I explained it was my first time there and he just shrugged. I could feel his impatience so I ordered. I honestly don't like mayonnaise but I will eat it of it's already in/on something. In my hurry to order and no longer bother him I forgot to say no mayo. I took my Sandwhich to go. Which I guess was extremely offensive thing to do. When I got home my Sandwhich literally oozed with mayo. When I would squeezed down my Sandwhich to take a bite a teaspoon of mayo oozed out the front. Needless to say I lost my appetite. I would not refer here to anyone. The service is horrible and the sandwiches are not good.

I've had some good subs and some not so good subs here. All in all they're pretty good.

Firehouse Subs serves the best sandwiches in the state, no fight-backs, double forever. I've been there twice and both times I felt that the experience was superb. Here's what I've tried so far: the hero and the cheesesteak. The hero was perfect. The meat was flavorful and fresh, the mayonnaise-to-sandwich ratio was ideal, and the bread was crisp but soft. Worth every penny. The cheesesteak was nothing to scream about, but they got the most important part right: the meat. I don't know how it could have been better. It was certainly worth what I paid for it. They do things right at Firehouse Subs and I will be back for sure.

They have a Coke Freestyle machine here so you can get any flavor combo or drink you want (only one in the area). Better subs than your typical chain.

Yummy! First time here today, friendly staff, welcomed when arrived. Menu is clear, restaurant was clean. My sandwich was delicious. I had the club on a sub, the bacon was great. I will for sure go again!

Just so you know, I've only been here once (so far), so this review may not perfectly reflect this restaurant overall. However, my one experience here was great. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The restaurant was decorated well and clean. The food is fairly priced, and my sub (cheesesteak) was delicious. They sliced my meat after I ordered, and it was kinda nice knowing my meat wasn't pre-cut and sitting out in a bin all day. I'll definitely be back to give it another go.

I was a skeptic but now that tried it I am a fan! That was a darn good sandwich... It is not a mom and pop deli but it is waaaayy...better than a subway sandwich. For ten bucks you get a sandwich a drink and chips... I will be back

Firehouse never disappoints always very good and honest employees. They will tell you what is good and what is not so good.

(Imagine this entire review in LL Cool J's voice.) In order for me to describe my feelings about Firehouse's Smokehouse Beef Brisket sandwich, I'm going to need to unbutton my shirt. See, this isn't just an ordinary brisket. *Arby's* is an ordinary brisket. The Firehouse brisket is what Mr. Arby's German grandmother would make for Sunday dinner if his favorite cousins were in town and tomorrow was his first day as a working man. He's going to need his strength. It's the juiciest, most delectable deli-sliced beef in town, snuggled in the warm embrace of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce, on top of a warm sub roll whose major purpose may be to provide privacy to this tender scene. Not too much privacy, of course. There's so much beef in this sandwich that a few tempting strips are bound to stick out the sides. That sub roll we talked about? Magic. Soft, with just the right crunch over all that beefy madness. You won't be disappointed. It's fresh-baked genius. Now stop the music. Can we talk about condiments for a second? Listen, I thought I was the only one who puts mayonnaise and barbecue sauce on the same sandwich. I was wrong. Firehouse does it and the flavors blend flawlessly. The result is a tangy-sweet smoothness that drips off the bun as you eat it. Spin that track, DJ. Wash it down with some Cherry Vanilla Coke Zero from the Freestyle machine and you have yourself a meal to dream about, baby. That's right. UPDATE: Just ate another one. TWO IN ONE LIFE. I am in heaven. I don't even deserve this.

Pretty good Turkey bacon ranch sub. Great service and pretty fast. It was my first time visiting a Firehouse Subs. I really came for Rubios but they were closed on Sunday and Firehouse was open. So glad something was open on a Sunday. I went to three business for lunch and all were closed. I was really happy to see that Firehouse Subs was open and the subs were pretty good. Nice friendly service here too!

Its a chain. That right there kinda loses a star right off the bat at least, but I must say for a chain, they make a pretty tasty sub. I'll eat here again for a work lunch option, but also because they made a decent little sandwich. I had the new york steamer, and it had the meat you'd expect from a chain restaurant. I ate it all, and it really wasn't bad. Had some taste to it. No real complaints. The wife had the meatball sub, and she said the same. Good little sandwich. Fast service and clean inside. Worth a try.

Laurie B.
Hands down, best sub I've ever eaten. A sub is a sub is a sub, is how I used to think about ordering sandwiches. Now I know the truth - Firehouse Subs has the corner on the sub market. Every sandwich I've eaten there has been delicious, and the staff has always been very friendly. Plus, you can donate every time you go in to a good cause. How can you not want to eat there every week?

Decent sandwiches. A great soda machine. The best pickle spear around town. I don't see myself coming here much and I will continue looking for a good sandwich around town. I had the pastrami sandwich. My wife had the cheese steak. Sadly, but all too common, you just get a choice of white, or wheat. Rye is not a choice, so the pastrami is already in trouble. The bread is better than most chain sub shops. Both the white and wheat were good. The meat in the cooler is obviously the standard chopped, pressed and formed meat. There is nothing premium about it. Whatever this steaming thing is, it removes any tooth to the meat. The pastrami doesn't have much flavor, and the "steak" is quite dry. The one almost redeeming feature is a very good dill pickle spear. It's got a nice crunch and solid flavor. The pop machine is cool. You can select among 120 choices of pop. That's cool, but not enough to make the place a lot better. The parent company does good work. It has a good story. However, that only comes into play if two places are identical in quality and it makes the choice. The price is slightly higher than the competition. It is probably a total experience that's worth the additional money, but it is not obviously better quality. The people in the standard production line that crank out the sandwiches were very pleasant. All in all it's certainly an OK place.

I used to be a crazy Subway person, then I got introduced to this place, now I'm in love with it. Their sandwiches are dang good. They are a bit more expensive than other sub places like Subway, but I think that the taste and quality of the sandwich makes it worth it.

The place is so new there's still a twinkle on the tabletops. It was bit of a fight to find where to order as the place was pretty packed. Damn the torpedoes, I figured, full steam ahead. And that is the Firehouse claim-to-fame: they take you sandwich innards and steam them. Made for an interesting affect, but it was good. While I waited for the order to be filled I browsed the salsa bar. I had to try some of their signature sauce and a few of the others that were rated "dangerous" because I'd already damned the torpedoes. My gang elected to cut the sandwiches into wee bits so we could sample them all. I really liked the Hook and Ladder and the Italian. All in all, I'm willing to step up to that gaudy decor again, look it in the eye, and tell it to steam me some more meat. I intend to go in harm's way.

Ended up here on my birthday and when my children informed the cashier he was kind enough to tell me that I was entitled to a special birthday treat! Also found out that kids eat free on Sunday. We paid and were enjoying our meal when they came to bring us a refund because they had mistakenly charged for one of our children. So, already we were impressed. Now the decor is really fun, if not over the top with firefighter memorabilia but we really enjoyed it and they gave my kids fire hats! There is a large mural dedicated to the local fire department which is also nice. Now the food. It's great! The bread is really outstanding and the brisket was top notch. But they definitely are right to brag about their meatballs. They are yummy. The kids cold sandwiches were good too and everyone liked the multiple choice soda machine.

Totally my favorite place to get a sub around here. I haven't had a sandwich that hasn't been delicious. They are very fast and I love their drink machine. It's a definite must if you are in the mood for a great sandwich, fast service, and fair prices. (Did I mention they benefit firefighters...who doesn't love a firefighter?)

Flat out, the BEST sub sandwich available in Utah County! The meats are sliced fresh, most meats are NOT pressed junk, so the taste and quality are superior. The sandwiches are always made to look delicious, and are generally served hot. If you want all the fixins on top, ask for it to be "Fully Involved." The pickle slices that come with the meal are perfectly made with just the right balance of garlic and traditional pickle flavor. The service you receive is outstanding! The crew greets you right when you walk in the door, and are ready to take your order before you are even done reading the menu. Plus, the employees seem genuinely happy to be serving you--which is refreshing in this area. Lastly, with every order you have the option of donating any change between your cost and the next highest dollar to the Firehouse Charity, which purchases equipment for local fire stations. Personally, I always donate. Go visit Firehouse Subs! They are a great place to eat!

Subs=phenomenal. Service, unmatched. The employees' personalities are only surpassed by the salaciousness of their sandwiches. Number 3 (new york steamer) and Number 10 (smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket) are automatic favorites. All you need is one bite and you'll be hooked. Also, coke drinkers, you have over 100 different favors to choose from. Pick your poison but remember gluttony is a sin...

Its all about the brisket! I had the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub and it is awesome! Molten cheddar over layers and layers of thinly sliced lean tender smoked brisket on a toasted sub roll with mayo and bbq sauce, incredibly good. I saw a television ad about the sandwich and knew about the Firehouse Birthday Sub offer so that was my plan. I just showed my drivers license on my birthday for a free medium sub. I upgraded to a combo for about $2 and change, and I was set!

I've been to Firehouse quite a few times over the last little while. Their subs are good. My favorite is the meatball. My only complaint is that when I've ordered online, I arrived at the time it was supposed to be finished, and I don't think they had even started my sandwich. I ended up waiting the same amount of time as I would if I had just come in and ordered. There generally is a bit of a wait, but it's not too long, especially since it is being made to order.
