Ordered black pepper 3 ways, sweat/sour shrimp & chicken chow mein. The first two were alright, though not exceptional. The chow mein was not. Taste described as just chicken bullion. Past visits have been good.

I think the food is delicious. It's definitely Americanized but delicious none the less!

We had 3 different dishes, and all 3 tasted the same! Orange Chicken, General Tso's, and Sesame Chicken. We tried all three and they all tasted the same! Sauce was the same, the only difference was the General Tso's was slightly spicier than the other two. Fried rice was good. We also started with the lettuce wraps, there were 4 of us there, and they only brought out 4 lettuce leaves, not enough to even use the filling. The combos say they come with Wonton's, we had assumed it was cream cheese wontons, but we assumed wrong, they just fry a flat wonton as a "chip" and bring it out with your food.

Not your ordinary Chinese food. All food is cooked fresh to order and features super fresh ingredients. I stopped in today to pickup a family meal. The egg drop and hot and sour soup s are great starters. The chicken lettuce wraps beat PF Chang's hands down. Our entrees were sesame chicken and beef and broccoli. The food is always great. The menu is pretty large and never fails to satisfy.

Absolutely terrible and not even remotely close to authentic. My chow mien came without noodles. How does a cook forget the main ingredient to a staple menu item of Chinese cuisine. They might want to change their name to Chitty Wok. Save your money and hit up Panda Express instead.

First time here. When I walked in, the girl at the counter didn't look very happy to be here. I asked if we ordered at the counter or after we sat at the table. She rolled her eyes and said, "when you sit down. It's a restaurant so...." Not very professional. Waitress is a sweetheart though so I'll tip very well. I suggest firing the muffin top at the counter unless it's just that day of the month for her.

I miss the Chinese food available in other western states. I'm happy to say I've found the real deal. The delicate aromas were a good indication of what came next. The flavors were perfectly blended on the tongue and sensory palates. They even allowed a little lightening of the spices on the kung-pao chicken I love so dearly. The soup was fragrant, my husband loved the rice and sweet and sour chicken. So happy to have tried them . Yum! Heading back soon. I give them an A and a happy face. Four and a half stars.

A good place to go have some Chinese food heated up for you. Not a date night type of place. More for a quick lunch.

I'd never had curried beef before so I decided to give it a whirl. Great taste- lunchtime portion huge! This is the kind of cookin that keeps me coming back regularly.

I ordered the walnut shrimp and pretty much threw it away the sauce was disgusting, and the rice had more ham than rice... $17 for one dish I expected much more for my money ... Honestly I'm not sure I will be coming back to this establishment, worst $17 spent in my life

I had the Happy Family, a stir fry consisting of beef, chicken, shrimp, broccoli and mushrooms. The stir fry was good. The meal also came with your choice of soup, fried wontons and an egg roll. The filling on the inside of the egg roll was SPOILED! As soon as I bit into it I could smell the foul stench! I told the manager, her reply was "Hmm." This is the Zhangs in North Ogden.

Terrible! I have ordered here several times before, strictly due to convenience. I have been disappointed, many times, from this place and today was the LAST straw. I ordered one house special with extra shrimp. I paid for the extra shrimp and I was missing one, plus the shrimp that came with it were missing! It also had no taste! The portion was not worth $16!! The customer service has gone downhill also. Don't waste your time here, I certainly will never order from here again!

The price was ok, the portions were huge, and the service was pretty meh. Most of the food overall was barely passable. The chicken was dry and tough. The only thing good about the kung-pao was the vegetables. Their fried rice served as OK filler, but wasn't something I'd like to eat again. And, the paper chicken was awful. The only food that was good here was the hot and sour soup and the fried cheese won-tons. Honestly, it just feels like every ingredient used to make the meal is cheap. But, at least they give you a heaping mound of it, right? I hate places like this. Buy better ingredients and just serve less of it. I would gladly trade that giant platter of chicken bits for one chicken breast.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
