Kind cool setup.... But, filthy and smells terrible! Kind of a dive...

I usually don't make my way up to Ogden lately these days but a musician that I really wanted to see was in town performing and this was the bar he was going to be playing at. I heard all the talk and read all the reviews about this place before the show and the one that stuck out to me the most was the fact that it used to be an old church. Come on, a bar that used to be a church!? Sounds fantastic to me! I loved the layout of this place. There was an upstairs so you can have a drink while watching the band or towards the back walls was some old beaten couches that you can get comfortable in. Overall a great place to go.... oh, and did I mention cheap drink prices?

The Ogden night scene = Dives, dives and more dives. But that's ok. I don't mind dives, I can pretty much have fun anywhere when alcohol is involved. I like that Kamis supports the local music scene by having frequent shows that draw large crowds. The worst part about Kamis is that without a band, the place is depressingly dead. Dead as in my friends and I are the only ones there. I think this place deserves a little more action, so people should start ditching Brewski's for Kamikaze's. Hint, hint. Plus, the D.J. on Friday nights is awesome and very accommodating of my multiple 80s requests. Long live The Cure!

an old church turned into a punk bar? YES PLEASE!kamikazes is a dark and loud punk bar full of tattooed folks and old couches. the balcony a great place to people watch and if you get too overwhelmed you can to next door to the quiet side. kamikazes definitely made my last night in Ogden one to remember and it eases my fear a bit about moving to a tiny town. i love you kamikazes and i will be back and we will get drunk together.

Went to this place to meet up with a friend of ours, and boy did our friend pick a good place. I love this type of place where it's kind of a little hole in the wall but at the same time they have their s**t together! It was such a relief to have such good deals on alcohol after spending 2 years in Las Vegas and having to pay an arm and a leg every time you went out if you wanted something to help you have a little more fun. Boyfriend paid $3 for a huge huge cup of bud light that would have normally cost us probably about $8 in Las Vegas for that much or smaller of a serving. Atmosphere was great, music was a little tiny bit too loud on the side where the band was not going to be playing, that was really the only downside to this place. Seating on the side where the band would be playing was pretty comfy and laid back. There were pool tables on both sides of the place and even some pretty cool upstairs seating. I give this place 2 thumbs up!

I have known Tommy for many years and I remember him saying he always wanted to get the kitchen up and running. Well he did and it was on special nights but now it is in full force. PEEPS EVERY THURS he runs a 5 dollar Souvlaki special (eat in only) and you can't beat it. The recipes are close to him and his heart as they are his mother's and when you eat the Greek food you are tasting something handed down to him from a special lady. And it is amazing!!!! You will be back for more.

I always have a good time here. One of my favorite bars in Ogden. Great food, probably the only bar I would go to just for the food. I tend to stick with the solvalkia (how ever it is spelled). My wife likes gyros. Either one you can't go wrong with and I you opt for the fries the fry sauce is a must. The drinks are fairly priced and the beer is cold what more does one need when catching one of the many local bands playing here.

The bar scene in Ogden is not so good. This is one of the better ones, but it's still just a dive.

The bartender was chill..the cook was a douche..I guess putting meat on only one half is rough work... the music is also terrible...but the chairs are way squishy..
