Was at Jeremiah's for a brunch expecting a normal breakfast diner place but it turned out to be one of the better breakfast place I've been to. Word of caution, call ahead on weekends or expect a 30 min wait. The selection of food was great and full of variety to accommodate all sort of eaters, from lean marathon runners to people who just want to pig out this is definitely a place worth checking out. With that said, we had ordered the power breakfast with buffalo burger(really just a patty), the cinnamon roll and Cobb omelette. The power breakfast was definitely lean as evident by the smaller portion and patty. I know buffalo is a leaner meat but the buffalo patty that I had order was almost too dry. The Cobb omelette was actual a delectable mix of chicken spinach and bleu cheese, but careful the bleu cheese can be overwhelming for some but personally I enjoyed it. Lastly, the cinnamon roll was what really got 4 stars from me. The roll was larger than my face and probably around 2lbs. The outside of the roll was crispy enough without undercooking the inside and keep it fluffy. This was enough to be a meal for two by itself. Overall great place for breakfast, a little disappointed by the "buffalo burger" but the cinnamon roll alone is worth the try.

Lousy experience for dinner. Beautiful prime rib French dip. Tender cuts of beef that the cook served with a cup of grease. Who would dip a sandwich into grease? I would expect it to be served with "some juice" or drippings but not grease. It was like someone had emptied the grease trap from the grill into the cup and served it up. I understand two hours before closing on a Tuesday night may not bring out the best in staff. If you don't want to do the job just tell me the kitchen is closed. Brought it to the attention of the night manager, they apologized, stated that this is how the dish is served and there wasn't anything they could do about it. What a stark contrast from our two previous visits for breakfast. I don't believe we'll be back.

Was staying at the Best Western next to the restaurant, arrived and was greeted and seated promptly. Ordered the Maple Glazed Salmon off of the fall menu. The food came out really quickly. Long story short, the salmon was undercooked and raw in the center, and the mashed potatoes were powdered (yuck) I sent the salmon back, the waitress walked into the back and told the cook that it was raw in the center, he exclaimed, " Are you for real?" The only reason for 2 stars was because of the server and greeter.

I have ate here in the past and it was okay but today was just horrible. My wife ordered the waffle with "fresh strawberries" it even stated. ..when in season...so you would think actual strawberries. Nope. It was a red gel that had a strawberry taste...oh yeah NO STRAWBERRIES!!! And strawberries are in season...it's June 9th. The service was horrible too on top of it. The waitress asked what we wanted to drink then came back ten minutes later with the drinks then dropped off the food. She came back (walk by) and asked if we wanted anything else I pointed at my drink as she went by (Because she never stopped walking) and she stated she will bring one by....never did. We then flagged down another waiter to get our check after watching her coddle the other tables. Horrible food. Not as advertised. Horrible service. I will be telling friends and family...BEWARE and now you on yelp.

A friend took us here for breakfast. It seems like a fun place. They are in the parking lot of a hotel of some sort and they play up the atmosphere a lot, a little cheesy at times (e.g. the acorn shaped light fixture). It's a lot like a cracker barrel, but with more stone than wood and a smaller souvenir shop. We arrived early enough Friday morning that we didn't have any wait, but when we left there appeared to be people waiting to be seated. Our waiter was friendly but seemed to feel that drive-by check-ups were sufficient. We had a pitcher of water for ourselves so he really didn't need to stop, so, more than once, before we had time to respond he was talking to the table behind us (or, maybe better said, talking past them). He brought our food, enough said. The prices were great. The juice, like any other breakfast place, was ridiculously overpriced, but the breakfast plates seemed to max out at $10, with plenty of options between $4.99 and $6.99 - great for a budget breakfast! They offered a decent amount of already vegetarian options, though I don't think they had many, if any, vegan choices. I ordered the Marathoner's Breakfast (or something akin to that). I didn't expect the HUGE pancakes. They were a good 8" across, if not more. They weren't bad, but not stellar either. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The eggs were there, though next to the pancakes they looked totally overpowered. My companion's Cobb Omelet was dry, but overall good. I think our experience was average, but this is definitely a good spot for a cheap decent breakfast.

I am staying at the Best Western Country Inn which surrounds this restuarant and very upset my yelp app on my phone is not working but these 2 places are the bomb. The hotel has great rooms and the staff is great. Had breakfast with Jeremiah this morning and definitely will be doing dinner tonight.....great stop and very friendly people.

Went for breakfast and it was very good. Especially the scone - it was huge, chewy, and served with a very good honey butter sauce. The food (eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns) was well prepared, tasted just right, and served in hearty portions.

Awesome food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. I love the chair made from skis and snowboards. Have to try the chicken and rice soup.

Took my family on a Saturday morning about 9. Wait was way too long, but the food is good and they have a great variety. My husband and I decided we would go back on a weekday or early (Like before 8) on a weekend to avoid the rush and take advantage of their early specials.

The food was nasty. My sandwich was small with a huge thumb pint in the middle of it.The soup was old and over salted. I will NEVER go here again even if I am not paying.

Love this place! The breakfast is amazing, and they're great for lunch or dinner too. They serve beer but not on tap. Try the Jeremiah's burger it's my favorite.

There is a reason all trails lead here. They have the best breakfast in the state, hands down. Absolutely delicious. Their coffee and chai is great. Their breakfast is just off the chain. They have health platters and are very accommodating to different diets. It's a bit pricey in some cases, but so worth it. Try the walnut pancakes!

Our server wasn't the greatest and only came by once or twice, but other than that, i really enjoyed the "Jeremiah experience." I don't think I'd attempt this place on a weekend, but on a Friday around lunchtime, it wasn't too packed. My grandma had the pot roast and thought it was fantastic. I thought it was okay. My son's chocolate chip pancakes were delicious. And I LOVED my Navajo taco. Of course, being a Utah native, I am used to Utah scones. Utah scones = Frybread. Portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. I liked the decor and the murals on the walls. I'd definitely go back here again - I have my sights set on the biscuits and gravy next!

Went back for breakfast recently to meet friends. Got the breakfast burrito, it came with fruit and was quite tasty. My friends ordered a scone and cinnamon roll. Both of those items are huge. The cinnamon looked a lot better than the scone and I think it could have fed four easily. Both were enjoyed though!

Awesome for breakfast. Would be 5 stars, but the wait on a weekend can often be an hour, not fun. Omelets are fantastic, french toast & waffles are great too. There is no breakfast item that they don't do well. It is ok for lunch and dinner, but never the first place to come to mind. Does carry Crumb Bros Bread from Logan - buy a loaf while you are there. It is fantastic! It has nice if predictable utah/mountain/outdoorsy decor, the staff is generally pleasant, parking is a breeze. Great for families, casual dining.

Reminds me of a Denny's ...but with more gravy. Their Sunday brunch must be great however. We've tried to go a few times after church and the line is out the door.

Dirty and Dirty and Dirty!!! I haven't been to this restaurant for years and I doubt I will return. On this visit I went with my girlfriend and our kids and this place was filthy. I couldn't put my arms on the table even after they had cleaned it with the stinky rag they used. Everything was covered with something, the salt and pepper, sugar, menus, the booth. I food wasn't too bad but if the seating area is this dirty I can only imagine what the kitchen and the hygiene is with the staff. I would be embarrassed if I was the manager and allowed this to happen. I gave it 2 stars because I feel sorry for the staff that may care but are held down by the manager that is more like a dictator.

We were in town for Sundance and stopped here one morning. Their special of an unlimited carb made me wish i was still on p90x but I couldn't help myself. My girlfriend got the pancake and it was humungus. Had to be the diameter of a basketball. I ended up just stealing hers, it was super fluffy. I had the scone, just be warned it's not what you're use to if you're on the east coast. I expected it to be like a bisquit consistency but it was very soft with a white gravy on top. Not a fan. Not their fault that I'm not use to Utah "scones". Not too expensive, cracker barrel type atmosphere. No complaints really.

Jeremiah's is a mixed bag: really cute, western atmosphere, excellent egg dishes with homemade, delicious hashbrowns and home baked bread contrasted with lousy table service, (very slow, no smile, not attentive), plus oatmeal labeled "homemade" which did NOT mean Steel Cut but did mean "like glue" you could use to hang wallpaper -- an old fashioned I wish I'd never sampled! -- are what we experienced when we went for breakfast. It is very close to the Best Western (next door), and worth it if you stay away from the oatmeal and have plenty of time to spare.

Jeremiah's rocks! Cool building, great food and huge portions. This place kicks Denny's ass. The menu is huge and several of us at the table had a hard time picking an entree because everything sounded so good. I ordered the Senor Chavez Breakfast Tacos. They went a bit too heavy with the green peppers, but other than that they were delish. Everyone in our group thought the food was great. Would I return? Y.E.S.

This place is definitely a local favorite in Ogden. Do not attempt breakfast on weekend without planning to wait for a considerable amount of time. They will put your name on the list which is a huge plus if you are trying to feed your little rugrats on a Saturday morning. They have a huge menu and everything I have tried has been good. That being said, I have never had anything that was outstanding at Jeremiah's. The good news is the menu has something for nearly ever taste. Try the fish tacos, they are surprisingly good.

This is one of the best breakfast values around. A friend and I were starving on our way up to Powder Mountain. Not wanting any crappy chain stuff like IHOP or a Denny's, both of which were close by, we opted for Jeremiah's. Walking in its got benches and chairs made of old ski and snow boards. The decor is a cross of a hunting and ski lodge all rolled into one. The menu has all the standard fare you'd expect just about anywhere. Good, hot coffee quickly made it out to the table, followed by a hearty and tasty meat lovers omelette and a serious plate of bacon and eggs. Best part? Under $20 with tip! Can't beat it!

After a grueling 850 mile one day drive from the Seattle area, we stayed at the Best Western for the night next door to Jeremiah's. Frankly, I was actually planning on going to a highly rated pizza/brew pub only a few miles away, but even tough I was motivated to have a pizza and draft beer dinner, I just didn't want to get behind the wheel yet again. So having eaten at Jeremiah's on past trips via Ogden, we decided to walk to dinner. I will say up front that my last meal (chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy) at Jeremiah's a few years ago was less than fantastic, so I was not expecting a great meal this time around. I felt like a burger or sandwich, so I asked our server for her recommendations. She said it was the Jeremiah Burger, hands down, that's it, end of story. So guess what I ordered? Yep, and she was absolutely right. One of the best darn hand-made burgers I have ever had! Juicy..........real juicy, so be sure to get extra napkins. Tasty, a quality burger with Swiss and cheddar cheese, mushrooms, and a wonderful BBQ sauce. My better half had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and liked it a lot. So much so that she didn't need to request a "clamshell", aka doggie bag, which is a dead give away for the number of orbits I've made around the Sun. If they served draft beer I would have given 5 stars, but I'm a draft craft beer guy and having no draft beer at all was a surprise and worth a one star deduct. The next time we overnight in Ogden, Jeremiah's will surely be on the short list for dinner.

Been waiting for an hour, then no one told us it was only cash so some of us had to run to the bank. Guess our waitress gave up on us. Don't know if the foods good or not. Rage quit.

Awesome food and nice staff. Pancakes the size of your head! Worth stopping... We were conning back from a camping trip and there was even room for our RV. Very easy to get on and off 15. Breakfast burritos and omelets were yummy and kids loved the waffles and pancakes. Yummy!

We are long-time patrons of Jeremiah's, which we first visited before the war (No, we won't say which war.) Back then it offered an unbelievably eclectic menu, and the quality of the breakfasts and desserts was five cuts above your average Denny's or IHOP. This time we climbed down off our horses (actually, out of our SUV) after a week of hard recreating in the Collegiates of Colorado. I was hungry enough to eat an unskinned buffalo, and faithful companion was longing for a liquid appetite modifier. The hostess seated us promptly. One enters into a traditional lobby with gift shop and then traverses a short hallway to get to the tables. Unfortunately, the early evening sun hit the floor in such a way as to illuminate an incredible amount of small debris. Helpful note: please have your bus-staff sweep a couple of times during the day! Service was quick and efficient. My companion's longing was stilled by a bottle of local brew: a Double Skull Doppelbock from Epic Brewery in Salt Lake City, and I ordered one of my own, just to be sociable, of course. Companion's local trout in lemon-pepper sauce was superb, perfectly broiled and beautifully presented at a very reasonable price. Then came the surprise: my chicken sandwich was almost inedible. Bits of shredded chicken breast, some with the consistency of old leather, were covered with a forgettable mayo-based concoction. Were we dining in two different restaurants at the same time? Parallel universes? Nope! No bearded Spock. Oh well. We give it three stars because the breakfast the next morning was exceptional, as always.

Fairly rare that I wind up having breakfast outside of the confines of Salt Lake, but not never. This is a really interesting, very eclectic place, with various touristy items, a cabinet of beer, including PBR (?!) and a section that's very clearly intended for events, such as weddings. It's also situation next to a hotel, which adds an oddness and somewhat of a complexity to the arrangement. Overall, it's a nice ambiance. The place is jacked full of locals, so this must be a congregation point of sorts. As to the actual breakfast, portions here for certain things are gigantic and costs are minimal. One scone by itself is an entire breakfast, yet it comes as a side (!) with one of the breakfast options. I chose one that would allow me the luxury of trying different things and will say that their sausage is quite good, bacon solid, but unspectacular, eggs ordered over-medium came out over-easy and the hash browns were under done, to my reckoning. None of this is too exciting one way or the other. The gravy that came with is a misfire, tasting separately as slightly sweet, yet with a strange note I couldn't quite place, but which was repulsive. There is no need to fancy up white country gravy. Very seldom does this work. Tea was also of a very good quality. As to that scone, which swallowed up the plate underneath entirely, it bested me. Had I had nothing but that, it would have been close. The runny honey butter stuff wasn't ever good and somehow, despite the scone itself being hot, it refused to melt, like one of those Wal-Mart ice cream sandwiches that won't melt, even in the summer sun. That was kind of odd, but it wasn't bad-tasting. Overall, everything was a bit bland and nothing was especially impressive taste-wise, but the atmosphere here is solid and definitely, this is a good spot for travelers, being, as it is, right on top of I-15, basically. It's the kind of place I look out for when I'm on the road...

There hype must come from their breakfast menu, which I didn't order from, I ordered a BBQ Pork sandwich which was over drenched in garlic butte, so much so that you couldn't even taste the BBQ .. The Bloody Mary and my friendly server Sheree are the only thing that saved them.. I'd come back for that reason only

Totally recommend this place for breakfast. We are just passing through on our way back to Colorado Springs and were looking for a good "local" place for breakfast. Recommended by a gas station attendant, she said it was a great place and she was right! The portions are BIG, the food well cooked, the menu completely varied, and our service was fabulous. I believe our waitress was Danielle and she was perfect. The only negative: the young blond hostess gave me the deer in the headlights look when we asked if there was an easy access point to the Great Salt Lake. You have heard of the Great Salt Lake right?? Dont skip this place - its good and worth your money.

My two cents on "Jeremiah's Big Breakfast:" Nothing special about the scone and the honey butter was surprisingly bland. Eggs were overcooked and looked more like scrambled eggs than the over-medium fried eggs I ordered. Hashbrowns tasted like plain boiled potatoes with no seasoning. Bacon was good but it's tough to screw up bacon so no points for that. I was disappointed because when you go to a non-chain restaurant and see a menu with very boring and predictable dishes you expect those dishes to have been perfected and taste really good. However, Jeremiah's Restaurant is no better than Denny's or IHOP. I read others' comments about the "nice" decor but that remains a mystery to me. You're 100% ok to show up with your rat tail wearing a tank top and flip-flops. I saw on their website a link for weddings which I love because the idea of truckers or a biker gang rolling off Interstate 15 looking for a bite to eat and crashing a wedding would be something I'd love to see.

Had the banana bread French toast. I couldn't stop eating it! Almost had the entire plate! The potatoes are amazingly delicious as well. They have chai which was surpsing, but tastes different than what I'm used to.

Been visiting this restaurant for their delicious breakfast for years. I'm a vegetarian and my favorite menu item is their Cobb omelette-- eliminate the bacon and chicken, and replace them with mushrooms and tomatoes. Talk about HEAVEN! And if you've never tried their scones, don't even question buying one... It is a must. I'm a life customer at Jeremiah's.

Food and service was great as always! Not one complaint! I recommend to anyone I come in contact with! Fun place to sit and eat with the family or friends. Only bad part is place is so good that's there's always a small wait. Totally worth it

Who doesn't love this place? Best breakfast ever! Seriously! It's so good! The wait is long on Sunday because this place is so good! I can't even point anything out in particular because I would be typing their whole menu because it's all good!

Had dinner there on Friday. The only thing that was reasonable was the scones. Everything else ranked as the worst food I have had. Chicken wings had a terrible flavor and texture of something cooked 4 days earlier and microwaved. Eggs in the inlet my daughter got had no seasoning and were so over cooked you needed a knife to cut through them. Generally the breakfast items here are fairly good but out 6 different plates of food and 2 apps everything was poorly prepared with terrible flavor we will not be returning.

This place is not what it used to be. Service, food, atmosphere are all overrated. We went in last Sunday and sat ourselves at the 5 stool bar hoping we could get in and out rather quickly and it took three different servers ten minutes just to bring me coffee... And they didn't even bring a menu, silverware or even asked if we wanted to eat. Then it took another ten minutes for our server to even notice that we wanted to order breakfast....The food is average at best and the service is gotten really bad. I'll go to Sill's where I know I can get good service and food. Ciao.

Good bet for breakfast in Ogden. The decor and menu are similar to the big chain restaurants but the food and service are noticeably better.

You cannot visit Ogden (or live here) without a stop to Jeremiah's for breakfast. Their entire menu is amazing (lunch and dinner included) but breakfast is what makes Jeremiah's AMAZING! They get busy, so get there early or call ahead. Their coffee is perfect: never bitter and always steamy hot. I used to always get the Jeremiah's big breakfast, but lately I've been trying other things on the menu. Their pancakes are HUGE. Everything is good though, I promise. I will admit that their portions have slowly gotten smaller while the prices have slowly gone up, but it's still well worth the price!!

Great stop off the 84/15, literally about 500ft! Beautiful restaurant with lots of interesting menu options (even healthy choices!) Got the mountain bikers breakfast - multigrain waffle with banana and strawberries and Turkey sausage. We also got the western skillet which was good too. Good size servings and worth the price. We will be back if were ever hungry in this area again!

Awesome food and service! I stayed at the Best Western next door and Jeremiah's provided room service. After a long day of driving, it was just what was needed. I had the chicken salad croissant with tomato soup, and both were absolutely delicious. Was delivered to my room fast too.

This place has a comfortable atmosphere, friendly for any age group not to mention their breakfast choices are very affordable. The menu is simple and easy to read. The service is kept to a decent speed even though they are pretty busy in the mornings. The servers are very cordial and they manage to keep their tables clean no later than 5 minutes after someone leaves. I want to say that the comfort level in this place is a 5 because it seems that everyone is in sync and with a smile on their face. I had the waitress Adi take very good care of me and did not bat an eye to me asking for water with no ice, she was very professional the whole time and checked up on me to make sure everything was good for me. I ordered the Cowboys benedict and all I can say about this dish is WOW. The plate was a very generous size and it was cooked to perfection. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone with a big and healthy appetite and not wanting to spend much.

Great food for a great price! Our server was awesome and kept our cups full. The food came out quickly. It was great. I usually get an omelet but I tried the eggs Benedict. Oh wow! It was perfect! The pancakes for my kids were bigger than their heads. The have flavored creamer which is big bonus in my book. The 'scones' are yummy and reheat well in the oven. It's our favorite breakfast place.

Never had a meal here I've enjoyed- not breakfast, not lunch nor dinner. Restaurant shares parking with Best Western, and gets a large crowd of locals and travelers as such. Saturday morning breakfast crowd is a 45 min wait or longer to get a table. Service is usually bad or just rushed. Our server seemed put out we asked for a coffee refill. We were sitting for over 1.5 hours, mostly waiting to order and then receive food, and had the mug refilled once. But only when we asked. On a separate breakfast occasion, the server recommended the link sausage. They aren't your pre cooked jimmy dean links, so I was excited. What I got was a Luke warm outside, cold pink inside health hazard. That also took an hour to receive. Lunch service seems less hektik, but the food and service isn't improved- soggy fries, standard burger and way too long wait times. Dinner was for a banquet event in their hall, so I may have been pre biased but nothing about it impressed me about ever going back again. Sandy's (for lunch or dinner), Criddle's (breakfast or lunch), Karen's Cafe, No Frills Diner all have Jeremiah's beat in service, timeliness and quality.

The prime rib was cooked perfectly, juciy and very tender. Our waiter. Paul B. was great and could take the joking around and even dish it out as well. A great place and we plan on going back again.

The service is great, the food is always good. I had butternut squash soup and you can tell it's not from a can; it was creamy goodness that warmed me inside. The turkey avocado sandwich was very good and had large slices of turkey, what looked like off the bone slices; very hearty. We have never been disappointed eating here.

Very disappointed with meal and service. Ordered fish and chips. Served 3 very small pieces of fish and English chips which were small squares of pressed mashed potatoes covered in batter. The fish and chips were over cooked and dark brown without any flavor. The flavor they did have was of old over used deep fryer oil. The server seemed as though he had other things on his mind than his customers. We only saw him a couple of times after we were served, one quick fly by on how you doing and then once for the check. Would I ever recommend someone to eat there? No. Will I ever eat there again? Never.

I know this place is a favorite of locals but I don't understand why. The wait was forever! Luckily, we got seats at the bar only to be ignored by the server until we asked to be waited on. I ordered the eggs benedict. Disappointed. The eggs were over cooked and the hash browns were boring. Not much to that breakfast. And the service could be better. I'll leave this place to the locals.

Mother's Day NIGHTMARE! We figured it would be busy, we called in and they told us it would be at least an hour to sit our big group. I am glad we called in before, it was a SUPER LONG LINE. Which was good. Figuring we must be doing something right, this place is packed. Maybe the food will be awesome! Service was super slow. We sat at 12:00 and didn't leave until almost 2. Most of the time was waiting on SERVICE. Granted it was busy! Did they not plan right to have more servers, etc on duty? The server took 10 min after we sat to get our drink order, another 10 to bring it. Then it was at least 10 more minutes to take our food order. I forgot we were there and hadn't ate, I was ready to leave before our food got there. We had been there forever! It was at least 30 minutes to get the food if not longer. Once we were done eating it was at least another 15 minutes to get him to bring our checks. Most of us decided to pay at the register instead of waiting on them. Food was not great either. Food was cooked wrong, over cooked, under cooked, you name it, hair in food, etc. We had a list of complaints, but with it being so busy and not getting anyone around, we just paid and decided to not go back. I have heard the food is good. I don't know if I will come back again after this atrocity! I picked one of the healthy meals so it was a buffalo patty and 3 eggs. Buffalo patty was over cooked, I had to cut it with a knife, yet my eggs were over easy, not how I ordered them. My sister-In-law had her Chicken Fried Steak and there was a long hair cooked into it, she wasn't even half way into it when she found it and couldn't finish her meal. Bacon seemed way undercooked. Too many things wrong with the food. I was a little disappointed, but I realize it was Mother's Day. A lot of people say they love this place, even my other sister-in-law (whose idea it was to come here), said she won't come back. She loved it before, but this one time made her never want to return.

Mixed experiences. Pancakes are great. Wings are good. Scones are alright. Breakfast burritos are great. Philly Cheesesteaks are alright. Sweet potato fries w/ chipotle sauce are amazing. I hope to return to try more of the menu, and will hopefully update this list.

Some of the food was good, some tasted spoiled. The clam chowder tasted fishy, and the Cole slaw tasted old and sour. The chicken salad sandwich was good, Navajo tacos ok, fish and chips were yummy, but doughy. The omelet was good. Service was severely lacking. We sat for a while before the waiter asked for our food order, never asked for our drink order.

I always have the tendency to go to the top shelf of ratings if I like a place a lot as you can see from my prior ratings. But this place ROCKS... you will have to wait as all good thing come to those who wait. You will have many choices on the menu to hit what you crave, you simply can't go wrong to come here for breakfast. I'm sure lunch and dinner will be good as well, although I've never been here for anything else other than breakfast.

Breakfast at Jeremiah's... awesome. Buttermilk pancackes were perfect. The fruit was fresh and the biscuits and sausage have great balance. Best breakfast we had on our trip to Ogden. Also, personally love the decor. Very outdoorsy and natural. The bar has stools cut from raw tree trunks and varnished. Very cool.

I had to drive through northern Utah recently on my way to Washington state, and stopped for the evening in Ogden. After settling into the hotel, I asked about a good local place to go, and Jeremiah's was recommended. So we tried it, and were very glad we did. The atmosphere is wonderful; very homey, lodge-like with multiple fireplaces and comfortable chairs and booths. The menu is mostly American, from chicken fried steak and meatloaf to various burgers and sandwiches, not to mention some very good soups, like southwestern chicken and rice and bison chili. The food was very good, and we had excellent service as well. It's definitely on my list of places to go back to should I pass through again.

Yep, as I remember it from before. The food is good here. Decent sized helpings. I had the Canyon Cobb salad, either my appetite is falling off or that thing is bigger than I can eat. The facility is clean and neat, busy which is a good sign. This is a good place to bring the family.

I used to love coming here - the long lines for breakfast notwithstanding. However, my last couple of experiences leave a lot to be desired. The surly server is fixable (had we got someone who cracked half a smile this may have been a 3-star experience). The food was overcooked (even by normal standards), but I specifically asked for my eggs to be LIGHTLY scrambled... they were so rubbery you could have bounced them off the wall! The french toast was overcooked on one side (they didn't even turn it over to hide it!). It smacks of 'we don't care because we'll always have lines for breakfast'. Well, I will no longer be in that line.

Wait for the food was horrible. Took over an hour to be served. The food portion was very good and tasted great. Just the service was lacking

We had breakfast here on July 4th. I get that holidays are busy, so I am not going to fault them for the crappy service, since that is usual par for the course here anyways. What I will fault them for is the food. I ordered the breakfast melt which was supposed to be a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit. The biscuit, was no biscuit. It was a stale hamburger bun and was completely inedible. The eggs had bacon bits in them to constitute the bacon. Bacon bits! Yuck! And the cheese wasn't even melted on the sandwich. The hashbrowns were pretty bad too. The outside was crispy and the inside was just oily potatoes. Don't eat here for breakfast unless you go before 8:30 and can get the break o' dawn which hasn't disappointed me yet.

This restaurant has smaller portions and higher than normal prices. $5 for a side of bacon that was three small pieces... They don't substitute very well. Considering I'm allergic to wheat, this makes eating here difficult. A fruit bowl that was half lemons? Why would you serve a fruit bowl full of lemons? If you're looking for a good breakfast place, I can think of five better places in this immediate area. I wouldn't come back here.

Like an upscale Denny's... with better coffee. Service seems a bit inconsistent: warm greeting/indifferent server. Food seems to get worse with each visit. The sausage links are always undercooked, my cinnamon roll was gross.(being the size of a hubcap is pointless when you overdo the cinnamon). The point of a place like this is to be better than IHOP, this place doesn't come close. 2 stars for decor, cleanliness, and coffee.

Breakfast is overrated. I actually think Warrens is better. My daughter got the 1 pancake, 1 egg, and 2 bacon...while i got the 1 pancake, 2 eggs, and 2 sausage. Our plates were basically the same, but hers was $3.50ish and mine was $7. Ok, the waittress said its because they give kids a discount. Fine. My eggs were cold and didnt seem like they were made to order. This was at 930 on a saturday so maybe there were busy....

I attended a wedding there on 04/04/15. The Reception grounds were Beautiful. Once we were seated we were offered Beverages by Brandi our waitress. The first order was $34.00. We gave Brandy a One Hundred dollar bill. She brang us our drinks and $16.00 in change and proceeded to walk off. I called her back to the table and told her I gave her a 100.00 bill. She said oh and gave me the 50.00 bill she had on the outside of her stack. Then my friend had a 6.00 drink and gave her a 20 dollar bill she gave him back 4.00 and walks away. Once again we call her back and the same routine happens oh I'm sorry. And she gives me back the correct change, This time my drink had no alcohol in it. Something fishy about this servers practice of Takeing money and bringing out drinks. People pay attention to your change when this brandy waitress is serving you. And your drinks you pay for may not what they should be.

I like the food, though it is a bit pricey for breakfast/brunch fare. However, I'm writing a new review because I'm disappointed with the crowd here. It seems that no matter what day I come here, there's always a large & noisy crowd, complete with badly disciplined children. Rather confusing, as it a bit pricier, as mentioned. I want to come here less and less because of these reasons.

This place has the best breakfast. I have been going here ever since I was a kid. They also have a super fun environment for families or big groups. The food is always really fresh and delicious. They also have a special menu for the health conscious which I appreciate. You wanna make sure that you get there early enough because a lot of the time they are packed.

Solid breakfast food. A comfy vibe. Delicious choices. And their scones are to die for! Expect a wait in the mornings but hey, that usually means a good thing right?
(5)

Love this place. Sometimes there is a wait but def worth the wait foe the pancakes alone. They are huge but oh so fluffy. Corn beef hash is my go to. The sausage are big and meaty

It's your average diner food. I had an omelette and a cup of lipton tea. Nothing fancy, large portions, but nothing I'd write home about. The service was efficient, but didn't wow me... I'd probably try several other places before I came back here, not because anything was wrong, mostly because nothing stood out as great.

Great place. I had breakfast here several days in a row and tried a variety of things. All excellent. Huge serving if ham! And the hash browns were fresh each day. Fast service and friendly servers!

Good food but service was awful. Waitress greated two tables sat after us first and took forever to get our check and failed to ever keep drinks full. Maybe just a bad experience but not sure if it's worth another visit.

Food was good. Had breakfast here and ordered the grand breakfast or the big one. I don't know what it's called but it was huge and my bf and I shared it and it was plenty for the two of us. I would of gave it 5 stars our server was nice and attentive but she seemed as if she needed a little coffee to perk her up a bit and my fruit was kind of old and seemed like it was from the bar garnish section other than that we will be back.

The food is good. No-one here on Sunday. Not bad at all. The Navajo Taco was pretty delish with buffalo chili!

When my wife was expecting, we would stop in here for breakfast every morning that she had a dr's checkup. That's saying something, considering how picky she was when she was pregnant. The portions are very adequate without being excessive (except maybe the delicious and massive scones). I would not knock them even if the portions were large though, because that's why "to-go" boxes exist. A lot of the negative reviews have to do with the slow service. If you go to a sit down, BUSY restaurant and you don't have half an hour to get your food, then you probably should have chosen Carl's Jr or McDonalds to get your breakfast. It's breakfast, and if you get it fresh, it's going to take some time. It's worth the wait because the food is really good. Also, if you are going to Jeremiah's, leave your blasted Starbuck's drink in your car. For crying out loud you don't need to have outside drink sewn to your hand. It's not their problem if you have to go to Starbucks for your dumb drink before you go to another restaurant. If you HAVE to go to Starbucks, then eat there too. The Restaurant does over-do it a little bit with the decor and the theme but it's also kind of fun sometimes. I can have a good time regardless of the decor unless it's dirty. I haven't seen this place dirty so that's a huge plus.

It was just okay and I'd go again but not my top choice. They did have gluten free options and were accommodating for food allergies. Expect a wait.

I like the wild west decoration of Jeremiah's. Waitresses are pretty and nice. It is the first place for myself to have vegetarian omelet with spinach inside. If I don't read the menu, I can't tell it is an omelet. Kind of weird...but taste and size is just OK for breakfast.

Walked in with a friend, I was holding a Starbucks cup. We put our names down and started waiting for breakfast. Waited 20 minutes for a table, sipping my drink. Hostess comes by and tells me that they don't allow outside coffee in the restaurant. I tell her I'm not throwing it out, it's not coffee, it's matcha green tea. I ask her if they sell matcha green tea. She says they do not. I ask her if she is seriously going to stop me from buying and eating an entire breakfast meal because i have my own drink. She says she can't let me in.... Company policy. So I leave. What a f*****g joke. Having been here once before I can tell you that this is the place to come if you want food smothered in gravy and deep fried.... well, deep fried anything. Don't expect anything to be fresh, don't expect anything to be healthy. Disappointing....

Went here on a Sunday morning. We were seated fairly quickly even though it was extremely busy. The atmosphere was fine and decor is a strange blend of western, mining and skiing. I ordered coffee and the Pancho Villa Quesadilla. My wife got Ice Chai tea and biscuits and gravy. The coffee was excellent. No small feat in Utah. The quesadilla with eggs cheese peppers and onions in a chipotle wrap was very tasty and just right. Hash browns were cooked well and a large portion. My wife's Chai was disappointing little to no spice tasted like flavored milk. The biscuits were generic but the gravy eggs and bacon were good. All in all a good enough experience we will be returning

This place reminded me of a fancier dennys. Our waiter kept forgetting about us and it wasn't too busy. I really wanted hashbrowns but the waiter told me they stop serving it after 2...and it was 2:10...I'm pretty sure tho if he remembered to take our oder at 1:50 I would have been able to order it.

Voted best breakfast in Utah.... hands down! This is a unique place. The front area of this restaurant has a cozy sitting area with quality leather furniture that is made in the Mission style..... fireplace included. This allows for a comfortable place if you have to wait to be seated for food. There is also a small bar adjacent to the sitting area. I can not speak for the lunch or dinner selections but their breakfast is pretty amazing! Everything is Paul Bunion style. Extra large plates have every square inch of real estate filled with food. I was impressed with everything from the waffles, fruit, to the eggs, bacon etc...... come hungry!

Thank you for a pleasant lunch. We will be back for dinner and breakfast!!! Not only is this restaurant awesome but the hotel on the site is too. I loved this place back in 2006 after I came home from Iraq and I love it even more. Thank you all :-)

Don't bother. Very poor food. Mostly processed frozen foods cooked to order. Don't let the rustic atmosphere fool you. Look for another place to dine.

This is a very popular breakfast/brunch destination, that usually results in a wait to get seated. They have unique menu options like a buffalo chili omelet which is very good.

My wife and I have been coming here for the past six weekend for brunch and have yet to be let down. Today makes it the third time this weekend alone. Once for dinner and twice for brunch. In my opinion this is the only place for brunch in the area. I've tried everything on the mountain man specialities and you can't go wrong. I'm moving on to a different section of the menus, but am confident I will not be disappointed.

Huge amount of food... Mmmm! So good though. Awesome, true buttermilk pancakes, cooked to perfection eggs, I had a scone.... Wow! Can you say massive?... My husband had pancakes and yow! They covered an entire plate by themselves. Let's just say, we didn't leave hungry. We took the rest of the food with us.

Look the food is good the portions are great but i think its a little expensive and i am no cheapskate I used to live in Los Angeles and love Lawrys and the Stinking Rose but for breakfast that much come on. Go to Karens.

We have tied it for Breakfast lunch and dinner. Never been disappointed or left hungry. We really enjoy going in for desert, we almost always get order the wagon wheel and milk. It feeds all 4 of us. It has to be the biggest cinnamon roll in Utah.

Wonderful for a hearty and even healthy brunch. I love it when I can find whole wheat pancakes!

Best breakfast you'll find in Northern Utah hands down. I always get the big breakfast with a giant scone. The scones & pancakes are huge and require their own plate. The skillets are all really good as well. The place was recently remodeled and is more spacious. They also have banquet areas if you have a big crowd. All the servers were clean and service was prompt. The weekends will have a wait for breakfast but you can sit at the bar if you are alone. If you are near Ogden just take the 12th street exit off I-15 and it's right there.

Actually better then expected. Thought it was going to be a "cool, skier hangout." Not exactly the case, but better then Dennys. Would go back again when I need to crash in Ogden.

This place is good, but is crowded!!! Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes unless you get there early (at least on a Saturday or Sunday). The first time my husband and I ate here it was good, really good. The last few times we were disappointed. The portions are huge and the prices are right. Still better than IHOP. The coffee is really lame though, which is about what you get at a restaurant anyway. I'd still recommend it. Good hearty breakfast before a day on the mountain.

(2)Sean W.

(5)Surfdawg M.
Waited over one hour for our meal to be served. One members of our party never served. other side orders forgotten. waitress rarely checked on our status and then blamed the cook as we were leaving.Rg
(1)Bud H.
Went for breakfast and it was very good. Especially the scone - it was huge, chewy, and served with a very good honey butter sauce. The food (eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns) was well prepared, tasted just right, and served in hearty portions.
(3)Kelley P.
Awesome food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. I love the chair made from skis and snowboards. Have to try the chicken and rice soup.
(5)Sally S.
Took my family on a Saturday morning about 9. Wait was way too long, but the food is good and they have a great variety. My husband and I decided we would go back on a weekday or early (Like before 8) on a weekend to avoid the rush and take advantage of their early specials.
(4)Montain B.
The food was nasty. My sandwich was small with a huge thumb pint in the middle of it.The soup was old and over salted. I will NEVER go here again even if I am not paying.
(1)Rich A.
Love this place! The breakfast is amazing, and they're great for lunch or dinner too. They serve beer but not on tap. Try the Jeremiah's burger it's my favorite.
(5)Chelsi A.
(5)Kris I.
(4)Zack T.
Cowboy's Benedict is amazing!!!!!
(4)Julie K.
(4)Utah Chic K.
(4)Roaming E.

(2)Sean C.
(4)Heather S.
(2)Nicole C.
(4)Jake P.
(4)Zakk D.
(4)Mike B.
Food is good and fairly priced, but the service is up and down depending on who is your server and the time of day.
(3)Jerry M.
(4)Desiree V.
Been waiting for an hour, then no one told us it was only cash so some of us had to run to the bank. Guess our waitress gave up on us. Don't know if the foods good or not. Rage quit.
(1)Kirsten K.
Awesome food and nice staff. Pancakes the size of your head! Worth stopping... We were conning back from a camping trip and there was even room for our RV. Very easy to get on and off 15. Breakfast burritos and omelets were yummy and kids loved the waffles and pancakes. Yummy!
(5)Michael P.
The food was fresh and delicious. The sevice was quick, polite, and accurate. My favorite place for breakfast in Utah.
(5)Henry S.

(3)Dawn D.

(2)Nicole F.
Had the banana bread French toast. I couldn't stop eating it! Almost had the entire plate! The potatoes are amazingly delicious as well. They have chai which was surpsing, but tastes different than what I'm used to.
(5)Bailey S.
(5)Cat S.
Had corned beef hash breakfast. Chicken fried steak breakfast. Large portions. Service great. Very good breakfast.
(4)Travis E.
Food and service was great as always! Not one complaint! I recommend to anyone I come in contact with! Fun place to sit and eat with the family or friends. Only bad part is place is so good that's there's always a small wait. Totally worth it
(5)Amber M.
Who doesn't love this place? Best breakfast ever! Seriously! It's so good! The wait is long on Sunday because this place is so good! I can't even point anything out in particular because I would be typing their whole menu because it's all good!
(5)Keith W.
(1)Deano G.
Ciao.
(2)Michael G.
Good bet for breakfast in Ogden. The decor and menu are similar to the big chain restaurants but the food and service are noticeably better.
(4)Randy L.
Great Breakfast place, try the Cob Omelet it is lights out. Mid week is a lot easier to avoid wait times.
(5)Tawnee W.
(5)Valarie J.
(4)Donna C.
Awesome food and service! I stayed at the Best Western next door and Jeremiah's provided room service. After a long day of driving, it was just what was needed. I had the chicken salad croissant with tomato soup, and both were absolutely delicious. Was delivered to my room fast too.
(5)Daniel S.
(5)Angel P.
(5)Chris Z.
The atmosphere is amazing with an outdoor theme. The staff was very friendly. The bar has very cool rocks built into it. The chicken Alfredo was very good with great flavor in the sauce .
(5)Ryan S.
(1)Beth Q.
Orange juice!!!! Try it, it's delicious. Still trying different things on the menu to find my favorite but haven't been disappointed yet. Brunch is pretty busy here.
(5)Kelley R.
The prime rib was cooked perfectly, juciy and very tender. Our waiter. Paul B. was great and could take the joking around and even dish it out as well. A great place and we plan on going back again.
(4)Peggy C.
(4)Randy F.
Never.
(1)Allison S.
(2)Jennifer R.
Love their "wise ones" menu as it is high quality for a very reasonable rate. Love the salmon.
(4)Shane Z.
(1)Daniel K.
(3)Becky C.
(2)Mike J.
(4)Russell F.
Very cool.
(5)Mike R.
(5)Walter C.
Yep, as I remember it from before. The food is good here. Decent sized helpings. I had the Canyon Cobb salad, either my appetite is falling off or that thing is bigger than I can eat. The facility is clean and neat, busy which is a good sign. This is a good place to bring the family.
(4)Vikkie N.
(2)Ruben M.
Wait for the food was horrible. Took over an hour to be served. The food portion was very good and tasted great. Just the service was lacking
(2)Julia S.
(2)John P.
(1)Micah T.
(2)John H.
(2)Jason C.
(2)Tamika W.
(3)Abigail B.
This place has the best breakfast. I have been going here ever since I was a kid. They also have a super fun environment for families or big groups. The food is always really fresh and delicious. They also have a special menu for the health conscious which I appreciate. You wanna make sure that you get there early enough because a lot of the time they are packed.
(5)Marc Z.
Solid breakfast food. A comfy vibe. Delicious choices. And their scones are to die for! Expect a wait in the mornings but hey, that usually means a good thing right?
(5)Estevan H.
Love this place. Sometimes there is a wait but def worth the wait foe the pancakes alone. They are huge but oh so fluffy. Corn beef hash is my go to. The sausage are big and meaty
(4)Elle J.
(2)Larry B.
Great place. I had breakfast here several days in a row and tried a variety of things. All excellent. Huge serving if ham! And the hash browns were fresh each day. Fast service and friendly servers!
(5)Mackenzie G.
Good food but service was awful. Waitress greated two tables sat after us first and took forever to get our check and failed to ever keep drinks full. Maybe just a bad experience but not sure if it's worth another visit.
(3)Stephanie C.
(4)Spencer P.
The food is good. No-one here on Sunday. Not bad at all. The Navajo Taco was pretty delish with buffalo chili!
(4)Kevin P.
(5)Ashley K.
Good menu with excellent alternative selections such as low carb. Recommend for those passing through Ogden.
(4)Bob C.
Steak and eggs were as good as it gets. Service wasn't great, but the food more than made up for it.
(4)Tawny G.
The scones and breakfast burritos are amazing. Large portions and worth the wait.
(5)Vanessa Q.
It was just okay and I'd go again but not my top choice. They did have gluten free options and were accommodating for food allergies. Expect a wait.
(3)Ji L.
I like the wild west decoration of Jeremiah's. Waitresses are pretty and nice. It is the first place for myself to have vegetarian omelet with spinach inside. If I don't read the menu, I can't tell it is an omelet. Kind of weird...but taste and size is just OK for breakfast.
(4)Andrew L.
(1)Robert P.
(4)Mae A.
(3)Tom S.
(4)Rudy C.
Awesome breafast and I love the woodsy indoor atmosphere. My favorite place in Utah...a must as we pass through the area. Clean, friendly, and yes...great food.
(5)Nicole B.
Awesome service and the food is just as good if not better! Breakfast is my favorite!
(5)Adi S.
Thank you for a pleasant lunch. We will be back for dinner and breakfast!!! Not only is this restaurant awesome but the hotel on the site is too. I loved this place back in 2006 after I came home from Iraq and I love it even more. Thank you all :-)
(4)Lynzie M.
Great food and service. Be prepared to be there for at least 1hr or more but its worth it.
(4)T V.
Don't bother. Very poor food. Mostly processed frozen foods cooked to order. Don't let the rustic atmosphere fool you. Look for another place to dine.
(1)Troy C.
This is a very popular breakfast/brunch destination, that usually results in a wait to get seated. They have unique menu options like a buffalo chili omelet which is very good.
(4)James B.
(5)Wendi J.
(4)Craig R.
Look the food is good the portions are great but i think its a little expensive and i am no cheapskate I used to live in Los Angeles and love Lawrys and the Stinking Rose but for breakfast that much come on. Go to Karens.
(3)Curtis P.
We have tied it for Breakfast lunch and dinner. Never been disappointed or left hungry. We really enjoy going in for desert, we almost always get order the wagon wheel and milk. It feeds all 4 of us. It has to be the biggest cinnamon roll in Utah.
(4)Dana R.
Wonderful for a hearty and even healthy brunch. I love it when I can find whole wheat pancakes!
(4)Adam A.
(5)Bob F.
Actually better then expected. Thought it was going to be a "cool, skier hangout." Not exactly the case, but better then Dennys. Would go back again when I need to crash in Ogden.
(3)merle s.
Went the the first time for lunch. It was the worst food and service that I've had in years.
(1)Steven C.
consistently tasty breakfast food (healthy options), nice atmosphere, long wait sometimes
(5)Heather S.
