Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

On a quest for the best burger in Ogden, we tried these guys... well, we continue on said quest! My review of Jim's could be replicated here. The burgers are thin (but they are tasty) and folks... NO CANNED MUSHROOMS!!! Seriously!! They were not 'grilled mushrooms' as stated on the menu - they were straight from the can. Good and hot fries. Pleasant staff. Could use trays for eat-in.

I like Five Guys. Sure, it's just a burger but the concept of the place makes it a big winner in my book. Here's what I love: Peanuts. They don't go with burgers and there is no reason why they serve them. What they DO do is keep you busy while waiting for your food. Time passes much faster on the wait for your burger when you are shelling peanuts. I do feel bad for the poor person that has to sweep. Not an easy task. Stuff. You can get lots of stuff on your burger. Mushrooms, grilled onions, peppers, etc, all at the same price. Other places either up charge or don't offer good stuff on their burgers. Fries. Hand cut, greasy, and plentiful. A regular fry easily feeds two and possibly 3 people. Regular or Cajun or, if you're feeling crazy, they will give you a cup of the seasoning so you can mix it to your own level of butt-kicking. The actual burger, the part that comes from the cow, is awesome. Grilled and extremely fatty. If you're looking for healthy burgers, these aren't it (and I don't think I really want to call you my friend.). These ooze good grease in to the bun and make for good, sloppy burgers. Simple concept, simple menu, affordable burgers. All with complex flavors and goodness.

My husband and I eat here all the time because frankly, this place serves the best burgers in Ogden. The servers are always very quick and so friendly, I have never had to wait more than a few seconds before being greeted. The place is always clean, comfortable, and I love that they play alternative/classic rock. I also seriously love their mix and match soda machine. The main reason we love it though, is the food. The Cajun Fries are to die for and their burgers are always made and cooked to perfection! Juicy, hot, and you get to watch it all happen! I just love the entire experience!

Love the burgers and fries. But the hot dog...not good. I am from the South...and I also attend Spring Training in Arizona...meaning good dogs in both places. You do not fry a dog. You do not separate the bun. Dogs are not fried...do not mess with the bun. Put a steamed dog in a soft bun and add fixings. Done.

Went back because Copper Club is renovating. On a Saturday afternoon, Five Guys was throbbing with humanity, but the employees remained friendly and efficient. The fries actually taste like potatoes, and the burgers were tasty and free of the soggy buns syndrome which so marred our first visit.

Messy, peanut shells all over the floor, semi busy. When we got to the register the girl behind it was nice enough to tell us there was a 30 minute wait. But proceeded to say they were under staffed and got negative with us. I was discussing with my wife whether to stay or go and there was nobody behind us. The girl at the register interrupted and said "You're more than welcome to go somewhere else". Felt very uninviting.

Environment: - Noisy and crowded seating awaits you upon arrival, I suggest you order to go. They have peanuts available to eat while you wait, the walls are splattered with page after page of advertisements on how fantastic the burgers are and how many super awesome awards they have managed to get.......perhaps in another dimension? Drinks: - sodas and such Food: - while waiting for my burger I was reading all the good things about the quality and freshness of the food along with the uniqueness of it, needless to say I was expecting a mouthgasmic burger, and some over the top yummy fries. DISAPPOINTED :(. The burger as a whole tasted sub par ( i fed most of it to my dog, in his opinion it was delightful to the last inhale). They put so much ketchup on the buns thats all I could taste for most of the burger, the mushrooms were *gasp* canned, NOT fresh you can always tell due to the canned ones tasting like chemical by-product. The burger patty itself was not awful, grilled and a smidge crispy on the outside....no special seasoning or sauce of any kind. Hardly an award winning burger....unless you ask my dog. The french fries were Meh, in no way addictive or mouth watering. Price: - way to much, not to be on the hater wagon but when i pay 8 bucks for a "small" burger and french fries and its not awesome I get cranky. Carls Jr. has better hamburgers for the price.

Have gotten takeaway a few times here, and never been satisfied. The burgers are generally tasty, but overcooked to the point of dryness. Toppings are nowhere near as generous as other reviews would lead you to believe, and my most recent time there (which will be my last), I had called ahead to pick up a burger on my lunch break from work. All the correct toppings were on the receipt, but when I got back to my desk, I found a bacon cheeseburger, with raw onions (I had ordered grilled), no pickles (had ordered extra), and no mushrooms (had ordered extra), no ketchup or mayo. Completely underwhelmed by Five Guys. There are better burgers to be found all over Ogden. Don't overpay at this chain.

Pretty freaking good stuff. Think In-n-Out, then double the price. Haha. They give you a ton of fries which is nice.

Here's a few things you should know about 5 guys. 1. An unlimited amount of peanuts in the shell are at your disposal. 2. Apparently double burgers are the standard. So, when you order a single bacon cheeseburger, just know you will be served two fat beef patties. 3. Every thing is ordered ala carte, so it can be a little pricey for your burger fix. 4. But once you down a bacon cheeseburger from 5 guys (which, trust me, is a gut buster), you'll find it hard to satisfy your burger cravings anywhere else.

They have good burgers and fries, but don't live up to all the hype of 'burger heaven'. I think people around here in Utah like to over-hype things that are new to the area or they feel some special connection to a place by 'stumbling upon them' . Five Guys is better than typical fast food mind you, but isn't any better than an other specialty burger place.

Close contender for the best burger I have ever eaten. Both my kids loved it. The atmosphere was fun and the service was excellent. We will definitely make the drive to eat there again.

all I could say "WOW", one of the best burger I ever tasted, and not only that good service I felt i was in restaurant. The manager asked if I'm doing okay and how burger I'm eating. But man awesome burger, its been awhile that I really tasted good burger...try it out, you will love it.

I used to go to five guys all the time when i lived in Baltimore. i was pregnant and hungry and could down 2 burgers with no problem. When i heard a five guys opened here in Ogden of course i biked on down for a double bacon burger and some fries! As soon as i walked in i felt like i was back on the east coast. I grabbed a handful of peanuts and put in my order: double bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. Yeah, i don't mess around when it comes to burgers. I also got a large order of fries ...just for good measure. In a jiffy my order was up, the bag was heavy with meaty goodness. I dove into that burger like it was my first meal off a deserted island. I think i got a bit too excited because halfway through i got the itis. Wha'ts the itis you ask? The itis is when you eat so much heavy food goodness that you start to get sleepy. Your stomach gets full and your eyes get doughy and you just know you could fall asleep face first in your meal if there weren't any strangers watching. So i got halfway through my burgers and barely dented my heaping pile of hand cut fries when the itis struck. I started slowing down and ended up having to share my masterpiece of a burger with my sweetie and girl child. I hated seeing them devour my prize! Curse my small stomach! Five guys is worth the price to me. Custom burgers with just about anything you can dream up on it , hand cut fries deep fried to perfection and did i mention peanuts? Give it a try, try NOT to like it.
