Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This place has great portions and the depth of flavor everyone wants and needs from typical Chinese food. These super fancy fusion joints are a dime a dozen. Everyone needs a good Chinese spot that will pack up your to-go order in a leftover Sapporo box. We always have left overs. And it's always a nice, cheap meal with high quality taste. Vote Eastern Winds for class president.

We used to live in Ogden, UT and wanted Chinese food on our way to Las Vegas, NV. So I call up Eastern Winds and order the dish that I'd usually order when we lived here. We ate it but it didn't taste as good as it did when we lived here. IDK maybe they have a new chef or under new management? If we are in the area again we'll pass this place.

The wife and I have been going to the Eastern Winds for many years. I go there for the Mongolian beef and the wife is open to new options especially when they are highlighting Asparagus or green bean dishes. One thing we do agree on is the Chicken corn chowder it is awesome. It is sold as a portion for two but can be shared with four or more with ease, very tasty. Service is very good, the owners are very accommodating even when I ask for my Mongolian beef with no onions, where onions is usually half the dish.

Who the heck labeled this 2 monies? this place is very cheap for the amount of food you get. Large portions as always in chinese resturants, and pretty darn good war wonton soup. My advice, stay away from the comon chinese food fair like "orange chicken" ( which is not good) the soups are always delicious and the fried rice is super tasty. 4-5 people could honestly spend only 15 bucks here total and get plenty of good food to eat. All in all, great for the price.

This food is beyond bad. One member of our family insists on going there on occasion. Last time, after an hour, everyone - including her - still eaten only about 20% of their meal. I tried nearly everyone's dish - disgusting all around. Steer clear of this place.

I went in, wanting to like this place. I really want to find a good Chinese restaurant in the area. But this was the opposite of that. Eastern Winds' specialty is "mediocre". Mediocre menu, mediocre food, mediocre decor, and mediocre service. It was the perfect end to a mediocre day. My advice to the owners: Step up your game and bring us some GOOD Chinese food. This generic, fast-food pseudo-Chinese is not doing anyone any favors.

Huge nasty portions.

A five star rating based on specific criteria. In no way does it compare to a true 5 star place in say, SFO. However, if you are a starving college student, or not wanting to spend a mint for a young family...then this is for you. Great value, clean, excellent service. We always order the sizzling rice soup.

My in-laws go here for take out. I expected not to like it. But for what it is, americanized-chinese, I thought it was good. The egg foo young was excellent. I also liked most of the other dishes we had. It was as good as PF Chang's (which isn't saying much) only much cheaper.

I'm from out of town. This place has decent chinese food. It is nothing special, just basic americanized chinese food a step up from Panda. The service was very good, I'm not sure how much Chinese food you can find in Ogden, so if I was here again I would consider this place.

Of all the twenty or so Chinese restaurants on Washington, this is one of the best. The staff are the friendliest around and the food is so good you'll laugh when you drive by those nineteen others. The sizzling seafood soup is always exciting and the Bobo platter is great sampler. Nothing can beat the classic Mandarin chicken, though. The only restaurant in the same league is Maple Gardens, which is also quite good.
