Stayed in the Wynsong lodge for 3 nights. Such a great experience. This place has it all. You'll pay the same or more at other similar places without these amazing perks: 1- large collection of DVDs you can just borrow. 2- fresh cookies baked multiple times a day (these are not your average hotel cookies). 3- bottle of sparkling cider and deluxe truffles in your room each day. 4- breakfast delivered to your private cabin style room. You get to choose what to eat an. It is actually filling unlike other bed and breakfasts I've been through. 5- the cabins are far enough apart you will actually have privacy (no noise). 6- the TV is set with a smooth jazz station as you enter the room after check in which makes for a very romantic setting ( they have additional paid options of rose sprinkled rooms and champagne etc for even more of an impression ).

We stayed in Timberwolf cabin. Upon entering the room it was very nice lights on music playing softly from the tv. That may have been the nicest part. We ran out of hot water when filling our tub. So instead of a hot jacuzzi bath we had a warm one. The door to under cabin was missing. The front door had small cracks through it so the sun was shining in in the morning. The mattress was old and very broken down. I would think for what's person pays to sleep here they would have newer mattresses. Breakfast delivered to our cabin was very nice and very good. I don't think we will be returning for any getaways here.

Pros - Individual cabins - Nicely priced - Breakfast brought to your cabin, big plus - I hate the large gathering rooms at some B&B's where you have to eat with complete strangers - Large tubs - What seems to be an endless supply of hot water - Surround sound speakers (at least in our cabin - don't know if it's in all cabins) - Bottle of Martinelli's and little chocolates in your room each night - without paying $20 extra as some other places charge - Customized breakfast menu - In room massage or couples massages Cons - Horrible pillows - Loud/rattily heater - Proactive customer service - surprises, even if nothing can be done about it (like a cabin change when you reserve a specific cabin) is frustrating - Customized breakfast menu (yep it's a con as well when they don't deliver what you have ordered) - In room massage or couples massages. When there isn't adequate room for an in-room couples massage please don't offer it or at least set up a room in the main lodge for this purpose. Also, when you have unprofessional massage therapists (that have supposedly been coming there for 15 years) it taints Alaskan Inn's reputation more than the therapists. I could go into specific detail of everything that was wrong with this therapist as well as the assistant she brought along from Eden but I will say it was the weirdest and unprofessional massage experiences my wife and I have had - Minor upkeep that really anyone can do and better cleaning (previous sacks from Walmart left in our room from the previous visitors - if a sack was missed what else was missed?) - Ice rink parking lot Suggestions - Pick up the phone and call the customer when there are changes or issues that arise - Maintain/fix the heaters - this goes along with the items listed above as well as the cabin we were in - Pay attention to the details and get them right. B&B's should provide a unique special experience in my mind and it seems like you're pointed in the right direction but it's just not there yet - Please, for the sake of everyone's necks, please get some new pillows. Might I suggest teaming up with the makers of Z-pillows or have a variety of different pillows in the room. Might be a good marketing promotion for them and since there in Logan it might work out well. - Better and more professional massage therapists - More cabins with king beds available, maybe I'm the only one that likes king beds, who knows - Caulk (anyone can caulk) would do these cabins (tubs/bathroom areas) some good. A tube of it would probably cover a couple cabins and costs less than $3 at a local store - Better plowing of the parking lot so that it's not an ice rink and potentially a massive liability (either people slipping and falling or cars slamming into other cars as they try to park) I was really hoping for a knockout experience at this B&B and maybe I just got my expectations up too much but things just didn't go as I thought they would. This place has the potential for being an awesome B&B. With a little attention, customer service and minor fixes I believe this B&B could easily be a top 3 B&B in UT.

My wife and I loved our little lodge and the breakfast in the morning came right on time. We would definitely recommend it.

I decided to splurge and book the windsong cabin as a surprise for my husbands birthday. We had a great experience. Check in was easy- staff at front desk was friendly and competent. Our room was gorgeous! Rose petals on the floor- complementary cider and smooth music playing when we entered was a nice touch. The windsong cabin is very spacious and has a huge king size bed, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, kitchen, and nice size bathroom. Big screen tv with DVD player, we brought DVDs to watch- but really didn't need to because there are DVDs to use. There is a ihome music player to hook into as well. The only drawback- there is a full kitchen to use- however no plates, cups, utensils or cookware. So if you want to cook you would have to bring everything to do it. Not really a problem for us since we didn't need to cook for a one night stay. It's a beautiful setting right near the river, very quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy hearing the sounds of birds and the river flowing from the deck of the cabin. Breakfast in the morning was served on time and correct. It was delicious. Large portions and lots of coffee! We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at the Alaskan Inn twice now and have just fell in love with it! We only live ten minutes from the place but have found it to be the quick escape that we need! The rooms are incredibly cozy and decorated in such a way that makes me feel like we truly are at a cozy cabin in Alaska. The tub is incredible but the best part is the amazing breakfast that is included! Definitely a good get away and for the spend it is well worth it. Oh, and don't forget about the incredible surroundings of the beautiful Ogden Canyon. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!

It's rare to find a themed B&B or Inn that has wheelchair accessible rooms but the Alaskan Inn is one. The room was decorated very nicely with a large jacuzzi tub, fireplace, large TV and DVD player. Breakfast was ready on time and delivered to our room. We look forward to returning.

I just got back from the most AMAZING experience at the Alaskan Inn! 100% better! We were greeted warmly, the cabin was cozy and wonderful and the breakfast was spectacular! I'm so glad I gave this place a second chance because I will give it many more chances in the future.
