Convenient location right off the second I-15 exit in Nephi for travelers. I love coming to the One Man Band for breakfast. The food comes out better and faster than Dennys or IHOP. I always find quick seating. Coffee is always fresh.

On our way through on i15 and not to many choices in these small towns especially on a Sunday. Most everything is closed so this was a fun little find. Fun find. You order on a phone and when the food is ready they ring you. I got the cheese steak and it was really good. I would give it a 4 star! The flavor was awesome the bread was soft. They used fresh ingredients it was yum! We also ordered burgers. We got 3 different kinds and they were just ok. Nothing special. So we give the burgers a 2 so we met in the middle at 3 for the rating I'm must add the onion rings were awesome. Perfect! I would for sure go there again and stick with the cheese steak and onion rings!

This place is awesome. Yes, food is not spectacular but then again...American comfort food is not that spectacular anyways. It's the usual hash brown eggs scone etc. But, there is a one person working on everything. I think that makes this place so special! The decor is also an attraction. If u are on the I-15 southbound stop by.

I'm pleased with my late evening breakfast. Gravy on biscuits has just the right amount of zip. I wish I would've gotten a side of sausage.

I saw this little joint from the road...so I decided to swing-in for lunch. Whenever possible, I support the Mom & Pop...small business, over the chain restaurants. They have a unique business model...sit anywhere, read the menu, decide what you want...pick-up the phone and talk with the lady at the counter and give her your order. When ready, they ring your table...!!! Let me add...the nice lady is only feet away. I suppose that at peak times this feature is fool proof. When they beep your table, go up and pay and take your food to your table. My lunch...actually was breakfast ham, eggs and hashbrowns with toast and a coffee... it was fantastic. They have a big menu with many items to choose...!!! There is a relaxed diner/drive-in feel. I almost expected to perhaps see someone at anytime on roller skates. This one of the more enjoyable restaurants that I have been to in a real long time. You are invited to swing-in, relax and enjoy a fun meal experience...and great chow. I will be back...perhaps in the morning for breakfast...!!!

They're getting three stars for the cuteness of the joint, but overall the food is really nothing spectacular, and even kinda meh, so 2.5 Flapjack Combo: supposed to come w three strips of bacon, received one full strip and two barely-half sized pieces. The flapjacks were gummy and tasted of uncooked flour Dagwood Club: the sourdough wasn't sourdough, but white-bread-yuck. Otherwise, it was pretty descent PeeWee Grilled Cheese: best thing we had to eat French Fries and Onion Rings: pre-battered, from a bag and then fried in old cooking oil

Right off the Interstate. You call in your order from the table. You are buzzed and then pick up the food and pay. Quality is decent for the price. Choice is what one would expect from a 50 style burger joint. Overall not bad.

This little roadside diner is great. There is a little something on the menu for everyone, including all-day breakfast. If you are traveling between Salt Lake and St. George this place is well worth the stop. Enjoy!

We always stop here on the way to Mesquite. I always get the mushroom & swiss, my hubby gets the Philly and kids usually get chicken strips. Yummy, greasy diner food. They have a juke box and we always love to jam Led Zeppelin or anything loud to freak the small- towners out. ha! We are never disappointed with the food and they are very nice people.

Decent food on way to ski slopes. Something for everyone including the kids. Very clean (even bathrooms) and nice people.

The first thing I noticed walking into One Man Band Diner aside from the fun sign and retro theme was the deafening silence and cold, glassy eyed stares from the employees. No music greeted us from the jukebox sitting silently in the corner, there was no sound of children laughing and nothing came from the two employees but a quiet, lingering "go away". One Man Band Diner might really be where happiness goes to die. TL:DR The Navajo Taco is just warm bread with a salad on top.

Diner food, done well. The charm here is the decor and how the one-man has organized the call-it-in-yourself system that makes it possible for it to be run, literally, by one person. American ingenuity at it's best! A fun slice of Americana!

Great for kids! Fun atmosphere, breakfast all day long- omelettes as big as your head, scones are huge too. Easy on and off on highway- open on Sundays.

I've had plenty of mediocre/bad experiences with roadside diners and other local joints but this hasn't been one of them. Good food, they're Ranch is good, I poured it all over my hobo's dream, which was tasty. The place is chill, down-homey, and clean. I was not disappointed! I wasn't like blown away by any particular element of this visit or I would have given it 5 stars but I'd still definitely recommend it!

Wolfman Melt was awesome! Perfectly cooked burger with Swiss cheese, bacon and onions on a pattie. My friend's "old favorite" cheeseburger was tasty too. Fries were well seasoned but not over seasoned, like many diners. Loved everything about this place. Clean 50's decor. Fast service. Ordering is done with a speaker built into the booths. Everything was really fresh and clean, much better than your typical roadstop diner.

I drove from southern California to Wyoming and stopped here for lunch. Instantly loved it. It took a second to figure out what was going on/how things worked. Basically you seat yourself, look through the menu, write on you order on a notepad provided (so you can have your order exact), then you pick up a red phone located right at your booth and tell the one guy working there your order (one man band, get it?). The novelty of the system makes it a required stop for all travelers at least. The menu had a large variety of diner style items. They even have specific names to keep up with the novelty of the place. They don't just say the boring name of the sandwich. The menus gave informative descriptions of each item as well. I wanted something light, so I got the soup and salad combo plus scone. A standard salad with a tomato basil ravioli soup. Despite wanting light food... I ended up not resisting the cheese smothered fries with special seasoning. The fries were huge. I couldn't finish them even with help. Everything was great and I hope to go back and try some of the other interesting items. They had a great breakfast selection I'd like to try. Despite there being only one worker, all the service was prompt and accurate. Another major plus is the self-service condiment station. They had several dressings (including Newman's Own packets) and plenty of sauces (hot sauce, a few mustard varieties, honey, steak sauce, Worcestershire, etc.). They have a variety of beverages like coffee, juice and soda. I am in love with condiments so this part would have won me over if I hadn't already been enchanted. Please visit this spot. I'd hate for it to ever disappear for lack of business do to location.

Aside from what's already been said, this place was a cute little eatery. We were on a road trip back from Vegas and a friend knew of this little place in Nephi. One of the few places to eat around. Anyways it was a quaint little place that reminded me of training table with the call in orders and whatnot. I had the huevos rancheros with bacon which was pretty tasty but the chili or whatever they put on was very out-of-can. I asked for my eggs over medium but they definitely came over easy. The portions were good size and the hash browns were good. I would have given it a 3.5 stars but a friend had their crazy eights which is scone bread essentially in little doughnut style pieces with honey and powdered sugar topped over it. It also came with a chocolate sauce to dip it in. All I can say is they were heavenly. The food was pretty good overall but these little scone type things were amazing. You definitely need to try them. And it is impressive that one man cooks everything. Also very well priced. Overall a good stop in on your drive to or from Salt Lake.

it definitely is all in a name, because it's totally a one-man-band at this diner. basically, it's just one guy who cooks all the food. you peruse the menu, pick up the phone, and you order your food (like the training table?). then a buzzer lights up at your table, and you go up to the cook's counter to pick up your food and pay. what was funny was that we were 1 of 2 parties in the restaurant in the morning hours, and we got a table right by the cook. we literally could have just told him our order from our table, but he told us "no" and talked to us thru the phone. kind of weird, but still laughable. also, they have a condiment and drink bar, where you pick up all your utensils, napkins, drinks, and assortment of sauces and such. anyway, we got basic breakfast fare as we just needed fuel for the beginning of our road trip. i got eggs, hash browns, bacon and wheat toast. my husband got huevos rancheros, and my daughter got a kid pancake meal with bacon. for some reason, the huevos rancheros came with chili, rather than the typical refried beans. the kid's pancake meal came with a bacon smile and m&m eyes and nose. plus they added a lollipop on the side. now i don't care that my kid eats candy, but i wasn't really a fan of having candy on the plate for breakfast, because of course my kid was all about having that lollipop first. my meal was okay. really super greasy though, so i could not even eat half of it. i had to stop a third of the way. i saw the grill, and it was saturated in grease. i know breakfast is not the healthiest meal of the day always, but eating a heaping ladle of grease is not enjoyable. bottled drinks are kind of expensive too, however they are big enough to share with another person. overall, it was still a fun roadtrip experience.
