Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Best Sunday brunch option in Logan! Yummy menu options, scones + fruit smoothies come with every meal (kids love this!). Mimosa's (Mom loves this!) and EXCEPTIONAL service =) Must, must, must do!

Service was alright. We always had to ask to get a refill on our drinks. The food is below average. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because it has a neat Italian atmosphere and the food wasn't horrible.

My husband and I went to Gia's tonight because I had a gift certificate and was wanting to try it. ( We wouldn't have gone otherwise because he had gone previously and had an awful time, but i wasn't there that time so I had never been.) Well I have to say the food was decent. I liked my chicken alfredo, a little heavy on the garlic, but my husband and I are past the point of worrying about garlic breath. He had ordered the special and we suspect that the "prime rib" wasn't actually prime rib, but what can you do. The part that really got me, and this is something that really grinds my gears and I will try to refrain from talking about it for the next week with my husband, was when the bill came. The server had added a 18% gratuity. WHAT? I had to re-check our table to make sure that there weren't 6 more people at our table that I hadn't noticed (the menu had stated that parties of 8 or more would be charged an 18% gratuity.) My husband actually ran in to this problem last time they went when there were three of them and the same server tried to tell them it was "store policy". Well I told the server to take off the gratuity and he started to argue with me and I just stopped him and said no, take the gratuity off. He rolled his eyes at me and took it off. I tipped him 15% and we were on our merry way. The crappy part is that if he would have just left it alone in the first place he would have gotten a better tip. I tip because it is a "social norm" and I tip well when the server does a good job, because like most of the population, I have been there. I waited tables to get through school. I get it. But tipping is not mandatory and I will not be forced to tip. And that is why we probably wont go back. I'm not above supporting the well oiled machine that is Olive Garden. Oh and there is zero privacy at your table. You can hear everyone's conversation easily and feel like you have to whisper the whole time.

Very good lunch on a Sunday. Excellent service and food options. Surprised by the negative reviews. Enjoyed the experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff along with great Italian cuisine at a very fair price! I definitely recommend this restaurant for those who are seeking a great meal for a cheap price!

It's just pretty bad. I don't know if there is a good Italian restaurant in Logan but if this were the only choice, I think I would find another kind of cuisine to eat. The mozzarella was that hard, grocery store quality and the marinara sauce was too thick. We all ate about a quarter of our meal and called it a night. I have a feeling there is a market in Logan for a truly great Italian restaurant but this is definitely not it.

We ate there late one Sunday afternoon in October (about 4 pm) and we were the only ones in the restaurant. This made it nice and quiet, which we loved. For two w/ no dessert it was almost $40. We got manicotti and lasagna and the salads were $3 extra, which I don't understand - why not make them part of the meal - they weren't very big (though big enough). The bread was a bit too crusty for me, but OK. The food was fine, though not stunning, but it was tasty enough. But I don't understand why Italian restaurants think they have to play Frank Sinatra and his cronies on the speakers - I'm SICK of those guys. The server was nice and did a good job. This would be a nice place to have a leisurely dinner, as the decor makes you feel like you're in a special place - white tablecloths and all that. BUT...it's not anything really exceptional. There are a number of rest. in Logan much better.

My wife and I were passing through town from Salt Lake headed to Idaho and decided to grab a bite to eat. We found this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. Our less then exciting experience started right after walking in the door. As no hostess was around to greet us, there is a doorbell with a sign stating to push for hostess. ODD. After waiting a minute, she came out from behind a wall and seated us. We asked for recommendations, which my wife ordered. I ordered a spicy pasta with meatballs, which I think the chef dumped the whole bottle of red peppers in as it was screaming hot. I complained to my waitress that I couldn't even eat it because of this. She offered me a salad to cool my mouth down, but did not offer to take it off the bill. So we paid for a meal I did not get to enjoy or take home as I left it at the restaurant. As I pass by this restaurant twice a week, I will probably not go back.

Best Italian food in Logan! My wife and I have been here to eat several times since we moved to Logan. The food is always delicious and unique. Much better than a chain Italian restaurant. We came here most recently for Valentine's day. Thank goodness for the email reminder I received the day before to make reservations. The meal was exquisite and the service was very pleasant. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, making it a very comfortable place to be. We would certainly return here again.

I can't speak to the food because we didn't make it that far. We went on a Friday, but there was no host/ess, the place was almost empty, with plenty of extra tables. There was another couple waiting awkwardly in the doorway with us. Eventually, a member of the waitstaff came over and sat the couple there before us, not acknowledging our presence. We then proceeded to stand there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us, either the waitperson who seated the other couple (who passed us a half dozen times, never making eye contact) or any of the other employees who casually walked by. I have really not had so unprofessional a restaurant experience. We eventually left dumbfounded, feeling like ghosts, having not been acknowledged by a single employee in our entire time in the restaurant, and headed to Le Nonne, where we were promptly greeted and treated like human beings.

Great wine list. Back patio is lovely in the evening. I had the Alfredo with mushrooms and chicken and it was fabulous. I tried the Falesco Vitiano Blanco because it was a warm evening and liked it so much I had two glasses. Some of these older reviews reflect the old menu/management; it's a new frontier now!

We have been in on several occasions and have tried many dishes. At first they were great refreshing for Logan! Although on my last visit I returned a dish that had to much garlic. and it was replaced with the same dish with the same amount of garlic . Boo I just left it on my plate. The server noticed I did not eat it but did not offer to remove it from my bill. To bad!

Horrible service and food.never again. Why must everything be drowned in a gallon of oil?

First visit.....great! We had a very good meal with friendly, sincere service in a nice atmosphere. Some of the reviews show not good for kids, but they DO have chicken fingers, 5" pizzas, simple pasta dishes and other kid-friendly items. Great minestrone, although the starter bread was a little of a disappointment. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time that I have eaten here and both time the service was great! The prices are really reasonable and the food is great. Get the full meal because the soup is one of my favorite parts.

Definitely a no. I used to go for their lunch buffet until I found out they served leftovers from the day before. Have heard other bad experiences from friends that I'd rather not share. I haven't eaten here in years, so it's possible they've straightened up their act. Nonetheless, I still think of them as one of the worst restaurants in town.

Went for Sunday brunch. Had to wait a while to be served even though noone was there, but the Assistant Manager came up to us and was very apologetic and accomodated us well from there on. That plus the awesome Eggs Florentine made for a pleasant experience. I like food heavy on the garlic! Will be back. Highly recommend.

We just tried this place for Sunday brunch and it was great. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The meal started with scones (Utah scones, not English scones) and a refreshing fruit smoothy. I had the special - a very tasty carne asada with eggs, tortillas and home fries. My wife had the French toast, which was also very good. Overall it was a tasty brunch at a nice relaxed pace. A great way to start a Sunday.

My family ate at Gia's on a Sunday in Logan, when many other restaurants were closed. We were grateful for the friendly service and varied menu. My main criticism is that the oil provided on the table looked like vegetable oil and smelled a bit rancid. I think if you are providing oil to accompany the bread or food, it should be good quality oil. It was a bad first impression. The rest of the food was pretty tasty and overall our experience was good.
