Hibachi House Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Hibachi House is like a mini Benihanas without the big show. They've got the same grill where they make the meat, fried rice, noodles, and everything else. The taste is good, maybe not quite as good as the Benihana style places, but still pretty good. The price is good, a little over $10 for the combo I got that came with steak and chicken, fried rice and noodles. As mentioned above, I got the combo. My mom got some sushi and my dad got a similar combo to mine. They've got a good selection of meats that you can choose from, sushi rolls, salads, and other things. The menu is sure to have something that will interest you. They took a while to get us our food, but not too bad of a wait. While we were waiting I checked out their sauce lineup. This is what made me really happy. They have a mustard sauce, which was spicy and mustardy and all around great. Much better than the usual hot mustard packs you get at chains like Panda Express. They have a ginger sauce, which was sweet and delicious to put on my chicken and rice. They've got a great teriyaki sauce as well. They've also got a white sauce that had a tartar sauce like flavor to it. It was good, but didn't really pair with my steak or chicken well. I imagine it would go great with the shrimp or scallops that they offer. The portions were huge. I left more full than I should have been. The chicken, steak, fried rice and noodles were all great. I ate with chopsticks, but found that I was eating much slower than I should be due to the fact that I had drenched too much of my rice/noodles in various sauces, to the point that they weren't clumping together in my chopsticks like they should. Overall it was a great experience, I enjoyed the meal quite a bit. I tried some of my moms sushi, a vegas roll and a playboy roll and thought they were both good, with the vegas roll being a bit better than the playboy. Obviously this isn't world class sushi or anything, but it was good.

You can find sushi this cheap that is still delicious! They have lots of choices to choose from and try prices are second to none!

Very disappointed with my meal given the mostly above average reviews. I ordered the Hibachi chicken and scallops with fried rice. Nothing tasted fresh but instead was very dry and chewy. Vegetables were 90% zucchini with hardly any mushrooms, onions or broccoli. Even if you drowned everything in sauces it was barely edible. Won't be coming back.

The worst "hibachi" ever. The chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday and then reheated. The rice was hard as rocks. I've now had my sodium intake for the year. It was literally like throwing $26.00 into the trash because after my wife and I had 4 bites that's exactly what we did. Disgusting.

05/30/2015 So disappointed. I had to change my rating. I went back a second time and took someone with me. The service was fast but the food was not as good as the last time. The filet mignon and chicken were dry from over cooking. The noodles we gummy, sticky and not good at all. We couldn't even eat the noodles with sauce on them. The shrimp were small, almost the size of cocktail shrimp but they were ok. I did like the fresh, crisp dinner salad with ginger dressing. 05/22/2015 Tried this place for the first time today for lunch. It was delicious. The prices are reasonable. I love that you can get your own sauces and have as much as you want. This is a casual dining place. The menu is on the wall, you order and pay then go find a seat. The drinks are refillable. I had the hibachi chicken with noodles. So yummy with the ginger sauce. The noodles were a bit greasy but still so good. I'll go back and take others here.

We have been a here a few times and every time have been just as impressed as the first time!!! I love tepanyaki style food but can't always afford it. This is very affordable and totally worth every penny!!

We love this place. I typically come around 2pm so I can get the lunch special AND the half price sushi special. Yummy & quick.

It's the Taco Bell of sushi. I think the California roll came from Costco. The sesame chicken might have Ketchup as the main ingredient.

Hearty portions of Japanese style Chinese food with loads of salt and teriyaki sauce. Fun filled atmosphere. Orange chicken is awesome.

First time exposure had Hibachi chicken with rice carryout. It was average to good. I'll give it another chance. I hear the sauces are good but didn't get a chance to try them because my little brother hogged it all before I knew there was any.

This place delivers exactly what you expect. Affordable food any time of day. Sesame chicken with noodles. Bring on the siracha. Add some sushi!

    * Order h.11 with rice, errday * Eventually discover the fried noodle * Noodle is love. Noodle is life. * Stop ordering meat * I only eat noodle now * Being reckless one day * Almost choke on the noodle * And I learn to respect the noodle * Because you can't love something that you don't respect. UPDATE Noodle.

I came here once with my wife at lunch and decided not to come again. We found the food is not that good with too much oil and teriyaki sauce. They gave too much rice with much smaller meat portion. I do not recommend this restaurant, unless you're starving ... My two stars are actually 1.5 stars.

Hibachi house is a family favorite! We have a lot if extremely picky eaters in our clan, and everyone is happy at HH. You can't go wrong with the Hibachi dishes. My favorite is the steak and shrimp. It's a huge order and you can easily share, but we love the leftovers! I like to get half noodles and half steamed rice with mine. The sushi is also great, and with half price from 2 - 5pm it's a steal. Owners are kind and courteous. We've made it a family tradition to eat dinner here on Christmas so no one has to cook. They are open 364 days a year. Thanksgiving is the only day they are closed. When compared to other Hibachi restaurants, such as Tepanyaki, in Lehi, the food is every bit as good at about half the price.

The sushi is amazing and inexpensive. Selection is limited but what they do, they do well. Definitely a hidden gem in the area.

With my most sincere apologies to LCD Soundsystem: There once was a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE. But then they made it a Kathmandu, kid. A KATHMANDU. I really miss the Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE Even though I like Kathmandu, kid. I really do. So the remaining Hibachi House is nowhere near my house. MY HOUSE. But it's on the way home when I drive back from Vegas. There was once a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE. But now it's just down in Lehi, kid, down in Lehi. It's just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It's down in Lehi, down in Lehi So there's not a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE. But this one in Lehi's like the old one They've got grilled meats and veggies at this house. THIS HOUSE. And that mustard sauce my husband loves And sometimes the chicken's a little dry at Hibachi House. HIBACHI HOUSE But it's still a good deal There was once a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE. But now you gotta drive to Lehi, drive to Lehi It's just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It's down in Lehi, down in Lehi There's no longer a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE And it's not good enough to just drive there Because there's a Benihana by my house. MY HOUSE Which is good for a special occasion But when I'm going from Vegas to my house. MY HOUSE It's good enough to stop for meat and mustard There was once a Hibachi House by my house. MY HOUSE. But now you gotta drive to Lehi, drive to Lehi It's just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It just down in Lehi, ooh ooh yeah It's down in Lehi, down in Lehi But never never eat No never never never eat Oh, never never never ever eat The sushi (It may be 50% off but the meat is WAY BETTER!) The end.

This place has not once disappointed us! Their sushi is simple and delicious. We always order 2 shrimp tempura rolls, spicy crunchy crab roll, and the spicy salmon roll. If you go during happy hour (2:00-5:00 M-F) all their sushi is half off, so our order is never more than $15. Their dipping sauces are really good. I will actually dip my chop stick in my ginger sauce and suck on it while we wait. Their hibachi noodles are really good, and are only $2.50 for a LARGE helping, which we usually split. Unlike other Asian restaurants I've been to, the staff is really friendly! The man that takes our order smiles as soon as we walk into the door, and the sushi guy starts our order before we have even technically ordered (we're regulars, can you tell?), and they are very quick with getting the food out to you. We are moving to Pleasant Grove, and I will admit that being closer to this restaurant was part of our decision to move. :)

I ordered their orange chicken along with their chicken and shrimp stir fry with fried noodles on the side. The orange chicken looked and tasted as if the chicken was pre-fried and then flash fried to be warmed up. The quality of the chicken was poor and the orange chicken sauce they poured over it made for a soggy, yet chewy dish that couldn't have been fresh. The fried noodles that I had on the side of my stir fry literally was terrible. There was no flavor at all to the noodles and it had the consistency of mushy oatmeal. The actual stir fry was decent. I truly would never go here again. More so, I am writing my first review on this restaurant because it was so disappointing. We threw the whole thing away and went to the restaurant next door and finally were satisfied.

This is a third of the price of a regular hibachi restaurant but almost twice the food. I've lived in Japan and can tell that their sushi rolls are great ESPECIALLY for the price. I have started coming here whenever I find myself in the "city area" of Utah. Great value. A ton of food. Great sushi.

  • Gina J.

For the portion, the price is reasonable. I thought the food was good. And it was really fast. I just thought the steak was a bit chewy as was the chicken, but the veggies were cooked perfectly and so was the salmon. I will definitely go back to try the half priced sushi they have during the week. Oh, and double points for being open down in happy valley on Sundays;)

Not impressed. Had the orange chicken and it was so dry, tough, and gross that I felt sick after trying to eat it. Yes the portions are very large and prices aren't too bad but for what? Food you can't eat and food that makes you feel sick if your are able to choke it down. Very disappointed. I thought about getting a roll of sushi to go when we first got their but if they can't make orange chicken right I was not about to trust their sushi making skills. I have no idea why this place has such high reviews.

You know that you have a winner when your kids (2, 4, and 8) vote for Hitachi House over pizza. Hitachi Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Orange Chicken are all great. Prices and serving sizes cannot be beat.

We have been hunting for good Asian food in Lehi. Having checked Hibachi off the list, we are still hunting. The sesame chicken wasn't bad. The sushi was horrible, yakisoba was just noodles (no vegetables), same with the fried rice, and the tempura tasted like it was microwaved. Service is non-existent. You are better off eating at the Wienerschnitzel next door.

I like this little place. Service was friendly and I can tell that regular customers are known - the woman at the counter said, "I haven't see you here before." Sushi and sashimi were good - not great, but solid. Fish was flavorful and fresh, rice was sticky. I watched the chef build my order while I waited. I got take-out so was glad for the fast-food packets. The best thing about this place is that they have 50% off on sushi from 2-5 pm. Full-price is reasonable in the first place, but "good" sushi at 1/2 price in Lehi, Utah - I can't complain about that at all. I recommend Hibachi House and it was recommended to me by another happy customer.

This place is great AND it's OPEN ON SUNDAY (which is quite the feat to pull off in Utah County). I eat here all of the time when I'm in the area from way out of town. It's a pretty good deal. I'd consider this place fast casual food. The menu is on the wall and you order and pay at the counter/register. While you're waiting for your food to be prepared, you get your sauces and drinks yourself. The dining area is ample and large groups would be just fine going there. The menu is fairly extensive. The entrees come with your choice of fried noodles, fried rice or white rice. The best deal that I've found there is the teriyaki chicken with fried noodles. They give you a TON of chicken and half of the box is the glorious noodles. Granted, they could fry the noodles just a touch longer so that they had a bit of a crunch to them, but that's probably just me. You can add your own sauces if you'd like. They offer teriyaki, ginger, mustard and something called white sauce which is fairly unidentifiable to me, but I guess some people must like it because it's always there. As far as the sushi goes, it is half price between 2pm and 5pm. That is obviously the best deal as far as the sushi goes. I'd call the sushi pretty good, but nothing fantastic. And if you're not paying half price for it, I'd consider it to be a bit overpriced, but it's reasonable when it's half off. They have a couple of rolls that are $9.95 and I just don't think that they're worth it. The nigiri is fairly small in my opinion, but they don't go overboard on the rice, so that's good. The crab in the California roll is just a krab stick and not the shredded krab (and we all know that the shredded krab just tastes better). The fish is always fresh, they don't skimp on ingredients and they don't go overboard on the rice. Just don't pay full price for it and you'll feel like you got a good deal. So, to recap: This place is great! The best deal on the menu is the Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Noodles for $6.95. (Seriously, it's like two meals in one!) The sushi is totally worth it ONLY if you're paying half price, but that doesn't mean that it's not delicious if you're paying full price.

We were super excited to find a sushi place open on Sunday but were very disappointed. We tried the teriyaki chicken, which had a very thin sauce and was tasteless. We also tried two rolls, the playboy and the rainbow. The playboy was good, not great but good. The rainbow was bland and not good at all. We got it to stay and we still got everything in styrofoam to go boxes but in a tray. It was just fast food sushi. I definitely would not go back again

Good Sushi for the price, especially half-price hours in the afternoon. Very basic place and settings, along with utensils, dishes, etc. but the food is great.

Great for the mon-fri 2pm-5pm 50% off sushi deal. Fish was not warm like other reviewer described and they had individual soy sauce packets as well as bottles of soy sauce. Also had a really good Ginger sauce.

I think it's a little unfair to compare to other places that are two to three times per plate. We have been here twice now and felt both time for the price, it was very satisfactory. They also give large portions and are generally very quick. I would recommend trying it.

Good food. I usually go there for lunch. The portions are HUGE! One entree can feed 2. Prices are good too

I'm a fan. I get the same thing every time: Filet and Shrimp. I don't eat sushi so can't comment on that. I would call this a budget Japanese steakhouse meal. It isn't as good as a Japanese steakhouse, but it is the same idea and food, just not as good. But, you pay about half the price of a Japanese steakhouse. So for the money, I enjoy it. The Gyoza (pot stickers) are very good. My wife is not a fan of this place but she loves those. Atmosphere is very laid back. Stand in line to get your order. Pick up your order when ready. Get your own drinks and condiments. Very low effort by the staff to serve you. They cook your food, the rest is up to you. I don't mind. A few reasons why it is three stars. The meals are too greasy/oily. They need to lighten up on the amount of oil they cook with. Use more Teriyaki sauce! Also, the fired rice is just rice. How about adding some veges, egg, or a meat? I enjoy the sesame seeds on my meals but you have to go to the order ready counter to get it and then take it back up there each time you want some. They should put it on the table along with squeeze bottles of each sauce. Speaking of the sauce, I drown all of my food in the Mustard sauce (at least that is what I call it). Love the stuff. Mix that with sesame seeds and any of your food and that's a treat!

  • Austin S.

Worse sushi I have ever had! The seaweed it was wrapped in was chewy kind of like rubber. No flavor, everything was bland. To sum up this place, worse Japanese food unless you're being cheap. I don't understand this high rating.

  • Dan T.

Naw man. I can't lend them a solid vote here. I was so jazzed to try this place out... I ordered nearly everything on the menu. Soft flavors, nothing amazing, or even good. I pass. I think they suffer from the failure of sushi ingredients as fast food. Bulk rice goes dry, fish is warmish, cool food not cold enough, individual soy sauce packets...

I could seriously eat at Hibachi House EVERY day. I love Tepanyaki, but this is half the price and twice as much food and it still tastes just as amazing. The sushi is good, the noodles delish, and they always cook my steak perfect! I haven't had any of the issues that other people have had that marked this lower. Also, the staff is super nice, I went in on Valentines night and they were slammed and they just smiled the whole time. THAT is customer service. Plus, if you can make it in time, you have 50% off sushi!

Awesome japanese grill food here. I am a fan of their dragon roll and crab roll. Much cheaper than Teppanyaki, (across the freeway to the west), but just as flavorful. Their dipping sauces are some of the best around with a ginger and mustard sauce. The combos are huge and simply served in a styrofoam clam shell. But portion size is plenty to share.

  • Joey P.

They have white sauce! The most delicious sauce known to man. Get the hibachi meal (I got steak, my wife got chicken), load it up with white sauce and enjoy. Amazing. Super cheap and tons of food with the dinner portion, $20 for both of us and had leftovers for the next day easily. The ginger sauce is also very good with the steak and my wife liked the mustard sauce with the chicken. But the most important thing: the white sauce is delicious and can, but more importantly should, be used on everything.

  • EGuru ..

The basic concept I see is, Hibachi food without the added price of having a cook do the fancy presentations at the grill/table.
