Delicious food! And friendly staff. And great environment. Ordered "something" Nastari with pesto sauce and it was heaven! Nice and creamy. Our waitress was kind enough she said I could substitute any other sauce because I wasn't feeling Alfredo sauce. My boyfriend ordered Al Salmone and he's loving it. Large strip of salmon with fettuccine pasta. Everything is large portioned we couldn't finish it all. The bad side was I ordered cheese bread and it such a bitter spicy after taste. Like taking a bite of an onion. I won't order that again. It could've used a side of marinara for dipping. Also if you want to use the bathroom, you'll have to walk thru a maze of halls to find it. They use the same mall bathroom so it's quite a trip.

This is not (in my opinion) authentic Italian food. But it is a decent place for lunch. Cute industrial styled interior. The food is not amazing its Ok. There are a couple winner plates and they are Tomato soup (although I have twice had to send it back because it literally arrived cold) The salad with goat cheese Italian Soda I'm not sure what region of Italy they are trying to make food from? Either way it is better than Spaghetti factory and Olive Garden. We have always had very nice servers. The Kids Mac and Cheese is disgusting I would avoid it.

My girlfriend's treated me to a birthday dinner and I chose Bona Vita since none of us had ever been and the reviews seemed pretty good. Nice atmosphere - especially considering it's at the outlets! Service was great. Helpful and efficient waitress. Water glass was never empty. All of the employees seemed nice and had smiles on their faces. Food. Good, but I don't know if I was blown away this time. I'd certainly go back to try more of their menu. I've got to take my burger loving husband so he can try their "best in state" burger. We all left full, but considering the price, it'd be nice if a small dinner salad were included to balance out all the carbs. Overall worth a try if you've never been and don't want to go to a mainstream Italian restaurant.

Went here with a group. It's the second time we have come. The first time was about 6 months ago, and the service has improved since then. The complimentary bread was great. Hard outside crust but nice and soft center. Oil and balsamic was delicious. The caprese salad was the best we have ever had. Beautiful presentation too. My husband LOVES the BV Burger. Perfect blend of flavors. He has raved about it since the last time we came. It is delicious. He is a burger guy and this is one of the best burgers he has ever had. It was pretty awesome too. The fries it comes with a pretty tasty too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich. It was pretty good. Huge portion of chicken. I had the mixed green salad which was great. We also had the Caesar salad which was good but I think it either was lacking in dressing or didn't have any. For dessert we had the molten lava cake. I'm not a huge cake fan but you can't pass up molten lava cake. The cake on the outside was a little dry but the inside was fairly moist. It had a white chocolate mixture on the inside. Pretty good. The other members in our party had the salmon and also the steak special. Which they loved both of them.

Wanted the New York steak and supplement the sides and salad with a small portion of pasta instead. Apparently it couldn't be done so I had to order both entrees. Not all restaurants are flexible in adjusting meals to the patrons wants. Steak was good but the baked potato needed some seasoning. And the veggie mix with Sun dried potatoes had an odd flavor profile from my point of view. The gnocchi didn't seem to be freshly made and was rather tough. Not add good add my last visit.

I am updating my review...because it just keeps getting better. I love this place. For how many reasons? Let me count the ways. First, I love that there is attention paid to the training of the wait staff. They act like professionals, they know the menu, they understand how to help you as you choose and enjoy a meal. I'm so grateful for that: it puts the meal on a different level when you don't have a wait person assuring you it's "no problem" or "no worries" when you ask for something. I appreciate that many people don't drink wine in Utah, but this restaurant has excellent wines--some that I have never heard of or thought to try--paired perfectly with a variety of foods. And those same wait staff have been supported by the excellent wine steward to know how to pair and suggest wines--even if they don't drink it themselves. Thank you, all, for that. And, the food. That Best of State, amazing food. Wow. They change elements of the menu on a regular basis and have specials on Friday and Saturday nights--sorry if you're a business traveler and miss those. But you can still have the alfredo, the hamburger, the salads...or the gnocchi. I love good gnocchi. The presentation is beautiful. The head chef makes sure what comes out of his kitchen is a feast for the eyes as well. A class act. Completely. Everything here is amazing. I can't believe that I live this close to a place that is this amazing. Yes, I have 30+ check-ins. I'm the Duchess. This is my kingdom. Please enjoy. :)

Tried this restaurant for the first time since its close to work. Convenient for a quick lunch! The place looked bigger from the inside. They have 2 levels of seatings. A lot of empty tables on a Wednesday lunch time. The service was ok. They served free white bread, which was nothing special. I ordered Alla Nastari, which the waitress recommended. Delicious creamy tomato sauce, but i think the chicken was a little bit hard. Not a deal breaker. But i must mention - what a huge portion! I wouldn't order appetizer or eat much of the free bread they serve because of that. I will return to eat here again, just because it's convenient. I wouldn't travel 20 miles purposely to get here though.

We were shopping at the Traverse Outlets on a Friday night. It's located next to Nike and Columbia with plenty of Parking. We were seated right away and greeted warmly by the hostess and our waiter. Bread was provided with a house sauce to get you started. I ordered their famous house Burger with the meat done medium with melted provolone. The fries were cut in a unique shape with plenty of flavor. My wife ordered the Andino Cajun shrimp pasta, the shrimp was served on top of the pasta with a spicy twist. For dessert we devoured the White moulton chocolate lava. A little to much whip cream on it, but we spooned through it and got to the sweet spots. The atmosphere and decor is old world meets new world. A nice vibe and good service. The burger was 11.95, pasta was 16.95 and dessert was 6.95. Fair pricing for the vibe.

Loved the décor. The interior of this place looks utterly fantastic. Very classy and I also really dug the upstairs section. They've done really nice things with the interior, excepting the way too loud music on the overheads, which large groups then feel they must compete with, as if the rather prominent acoustic bounce inside is not enough. The décor does sort of create a problem as it then sets the bar pretty high for food, which stuff like circle rings of frozen calamari and a tomato cream sauce that tasted slightly freezer-burned cannot ever hope to aspire. Iced tea was acceptable, but only just. The breadsticks that came to the table were interesting, very solid and dense, but quite tasty. In fact, these might have been the best things on the table in general. Ravioli was good but passed al dente some time before being brought to the table. It wasn't hopelessly mush like Chef Boyardee or anything, but I would have preferred a bit less cooking. Sauce, aside from that frozen note, was overall also pretty solid. I wouldn't say it was great or very good, but there is a ton of potential here, I think...what I had wasn't mind-blowing, but enough that I would give the place another chance at some point in the future to see if they did other menu items better, if I ever wind up getting up that way again. Service was a bit hit and miss and I think once the server gets more experience, he'll probably do quite a bit better. As it was, he was a bit too fumble-fingers and far too anxious, but I liked the effort. All in all, this was decent, but ultimately not too necessary.

Great service, even though I think he forgot about the appetizer until after he brought the entree. Fried ravioli-awesome. You gotta get an Italian soda, they are incredible . The meatball sandwich was so delicious had to eat the whole thing, and it was huge. Five stars. Would definitely recommend.

I was shopping and wanted to stop by for a quick lunch at the outlets. While yelping, I came across Bona Vita Italian Bistro. Having never been here, the server recommended the "Alla Nastari" which I was already eye balling from the menu. It's penne pasta with mushroom and chicken in a light cream tomato sauce. I wasn't a big fan of it as the chicken was a little over cooked and dry although it was soaked in the sauce. The pasta was pretty good. I also ordered the caprese which is the tomato, basil, arugula and mozz cheese stacked and drizzled in balsamic vinegar. It's a beautiful presentation and it's probably the best I've had...EVER! Bread is complimentary. The crust was a a bit too hard for me but the "insides" we're great! I'm also that girl that will stick her whole arm in French bread to avoid the crust. So if you're not a fan, don't listen to me lol

We loved their choice of appetizers. The soup was delicious. The setting and ambience was casual,. The staff were trained well and knew their menu well and offered us good choices. We had a nice dinner and the best part was their choice of Italian sodas which were really good. Good place for a great dinner at a economical price. Bon Appetito

Really enjoyed this place. It's always exciting when a GF pasta is offered for the celiacs out there. It seems that the kitchen staff is very knowlegable about cross contamination and such. Unfortunately we went at a time that had a special menu only so I wasn't able to try what I really wanted off the menu. I will say though that the GF pasta was excellent with great texture. I also just adored the caesar dressing. All dressings are made in house and divine. My guest did find what looked like fuzz from a fluffy shirt or hair (hope not) in the cheesecake. (disguisting) The waiter was really wonderful though, and replaced his piece. I felt they should have comped something as it was pretty gross and we saved it to show the waiter. Besides that set back, I would definitely go back to try some of the other GF pasta dishes

I cannot believe that this bistro is in my neighborhood. Or in Utah, for that matter. My wife and I moved here from other places and travel often and eat in amazing places. We count this as an amazing place. It is urban chic and authentic food. A few of our favorites: the alfredo is amazing. Creamy, rich, not flat, no taste of flour. Pasta cooked well. Add mushrooms and submit to your Hobbit side. The pizzas are all fantastic: thin, crisp crusts with a perfect topping/sauce/crunch ratio. We had the Blanco tonight with white sauce, herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, and chicken. Fantastic. The salads are over the top: the wife has had them all, and loves them all. One has won the Utah Best of State prize. Her favorite, however, is the Caesar with the grilled salmon. I don't care for fish, but even I have to admit it's damn good: crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The hamburger is also a Best of State winner. I know, this is an Italian place. But seriously...it's amazing. And the fries? If you can call these potatoes bundles of goodness fries? Just give in. It's that good. Desserts? Yes. Please. We favor the tiramisu and vary occasionally with the lava cake--which is not typical, overly sweet, oily lava cake--this is the real deal and it's great. We just really love the tiramisu. And last: yes, wine. If you're a Utah resident, especially one in Utah county, you know that most places have a couple of boxes that they open when people show. Not here. They have a real sommelier. There are wines here you won't find anywhere else in Utah. He is a wine expert who chooses the wines, pairs them, and makes sure that even if the staff doesn't drink wine, they know how to talk about it and help you put it together. There are combinations here that are truly amazing. All this...people ask us if it's the "place in the outlet mall"? We say...there is a mall? Go there. You won't regret it.

Excellent!!! I am visited from out of town and bumming around the area... With my Mom and my two kids (4yr & 2yr), we were going to eat next door at a chainy burger place... While we waited for our table... I walked next door to this Italian restaurant to peak at the menu and was greeted warmly by a gentlemen that worked there (the owner maybe) and he told me they were voted best burger in the area. So I waved Mom and the kids over and we were seated immediately. We ordered 4 lemonades, a kids Mac and cheese and chicken tenders, and 2 of the best burgers in the area... AH-MAZ-ING! Service was excellent. Kids stuff came out fast and delish! And the burgers. Omg the burgers... Juicy, tasty, cooked perfectly. And the fries... So good. The only negative... That I live in Florida and won't be able to frequent this place for at least a year. Everyone should go!

I lived in Italy for a couple years and this is the closest I've come to AUTHENTIC Italian food in Utah. I ordered the Gnocchi alla bolognese and it was so good that I wish I could eat it every day. Even the bread was authentic Italian. If you are looking for American Italian food like Olive Garden.. This is not your deal.. But if you are looking to eat Italian quality like you would in Italy, then this is my best recommendation for you.

Interesting Italian food within Outlet mall, whereby the restroom is shared with the mall rest room... Overall ambience is good and the service is really good. We were served with bread and olive oil. I did not really try because the bread looks "usual", although my friends said that it taste OK. We ordered appetizer of coconut shrimp and chicken salad. The coconut shrimp tasted like "American coconut shrimp", while it is delicious, there is nothing "Italian" about it. The salad is OK. My main dish is pasta with bacon wrapped shrimp... OMG, the portion is gigantic. I only managed to finish half of the pasta and one out of the two skewers with bacon wrapped shrimp. I ordered Chianti with my dinner... which is OK. So, it was an "OK" dinner.

For the price this is pretty good place. The atmosphere is above average, warm and industrial. The food is above average too, but not amazing. I have had the GAMBERI salad twice - fresh mixed greens overlaid with garlic seared jumbo shrimp, sundried tomato, fresh tomato, olive oil and basil. The salad was just okay. I have also had the RAVIOLI DI FORMAGGIO - jumbo raviloli stuffed with cheese blended in a wild mushroom cream sauce. That was good. The Italian bread is very good. You will be happy for the price.

Delicious!Great service. Nice atmosphere. However, they should use cloth napkins rather than paper. It would be much nicer :)

They were a little understaffed tonight, but the food was excellent. Not a lot of great sit down restaurants around this area so it is nice to have a great option now. I had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the salmon and they were both fantastic. We will be back here again. A good California Italian style restaurant that is great. Hope that they can keep a good thing going here!

Stopped by with some friends who had tried it last year while in the area last year and had liked it. The service was friendly but the food lacking in taste and quality. There was complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. I ordered the Capellini Scampi. The angel hair pasta was over cooked and mushy. My friend had a penne dish and his was overcooked and mushy as well. I can't believe an Italian restaurant can't cook pasta al dente. The sauce on my dish supposed to be a spicy puttanesca. It had no spice and not a lot of flavor. My other friend ordered a pizza topped with balsamic and blackberries. It was a beautiful presentation and had good flavor but was overly done with cheese. All three of us where disappointed in our food. I would have given one star but upped it to Two because of the friendly and attentive service.

If my husband and I had been smart we would have come and ordered Italian food like pizza, pasta or flat bread. If we would have done this I think we would have given the place 5 stars. My husband ordered the special which was a filet mignon. He had to send it back because it was charred and burned all the way through. His second one was mostly fatty and did not resemble a filet in any way. His steak looked more like a t-bone or something. I had a yummy berry salad. The bread was good. Our server was Lexi and she rocked it. She took incredible care of us. She was very understanding about the steak and threw in a free piece of white chocolate cheesecake, which was amazing. The service gets five stars for sure. Having gone back again I would highly recommend the flat bread, the pizza, pasta and even the burger. Salads are good too.

An interesting little place. The only downside to the ace I can think of is locating the restrooms. At least you can put down how many miles you have to walk to get to it as you follow the signs. Food wise. Liked the Scampi Alonso, a bit salty, but what do you expect from Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. That sure messed with my hyper-tension. Sad thing is that I will probably order it again when I go back. The pizza and the Spaghetti Bolognese got high ratings also.

  • Bekah D.

Disappointing. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the service - they were very attentive. The bread was dense and hard and my salad (Mista) was bland and the chicken served on top was very rubbery.

They really have done a great job in a small space. Atmosphere is great. Sit upstairs if you can. We got a reservation. It was nice to walk right in. Had the Caprese, Chicken Parmigiana, and an Italian Soda. Reasonably priced and everything was delicious. Give it a try, you'll like it.

I had a good experience here. Friendly wait staff, trendy restaurant, but it took a while to get our food and later, our check. I had the beef lasagna, which was delicious. They also bring out bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. So good!

Just ok... The taste was a bit bland and the tables were very small. I felt crammed. The prices were a bit much for the quality and portion served.

If you leave this restaurant anything short of thrilled, it's your own fault! We had an experience tonight where a dish we ordered fell short of spectacular. The pasta and sauce were great but the chicken was overcooked. When asked by the server about our meal, I mentioned that the dish was good but the chicken was overcooked. Several minutes later Chef Edwardo was at our table apologizing and asking if he could cook us something special. I mentioned that we weren't after a new dish but he insisted. He told us the most disappointing thing as a chef is when a guest leaves unhappy or unimpressed. He would prefer that any guest not completely happy give him a chance to change their opinion. If your not happy tell the chef, he wants to know! The dish he insisted on impressing us with...Ravioli Di Formagio. Count me impressed. It was amazing.

Locally owned ......... Check Great Service .......... Check Lots of easy parking ......... Check Reasonable prices for the quality ........ Check GREAT Food that makes you want to come back .......... Check, Check, & Check!!! Bona Vita Italian Bistro will now be added to my Top Ten list because this place is wonderful in every possible way. When you walk in you see a very sleek, very modern, and very clean restaurant that invites you in. Upon being seated you are presented with a type of ciabatta bread with oil and vinegar already on the table for dipping, my wife and I loved this bread. It is similar to what Macaroni Grill offers but in my humble opinion it is better at Bona Vita. I always hate first visits because I want to try everything but we all know that's not possible (it's not possible right???) so I tried the Al Salmone and please allow my to say that it was incredible!! The Al Salmone is Grilled Salmon over a bed of Fettucini with Broccoli, Capers and Garlic in a light Cream Sauce .................. after reading that you want to try it don't you. The funny part here is that my wife ordered the same dish so I was not able to sample something else but fear not, my next visit is already planned. On the next visit I will be ordering the Penna Rustica, what is the Penna Rustica you ask, it is Spicy Italian Sausage in a Rich Tomato Sauce with Grilled Onions, Peppers and Penna Pasta. There are so many other dishes on the menu that look enticing, the Al Pomodoro, Ravioli Alla Nonna, Spaghetti Polpette, and the Lasagna Di Carne to name just a few of the menu items that have me want to return. Bona Vita Italian Bistro is the real deal, it is a great place for a romantic night with the love of your life or a large group of family and friends and if you stop in you may bump into me because I plan to return often. During your visit you may have one of the owners stop by your table, Todd came and visited with us and thanked us for coming in and we thanked him for opening such a wonderful restaurant, very nice guy and I wish great success for him and his business partner. If you like to support local business as I do, please visit Bona Vita Italian Bistro, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! Until next time my fellow Yelpers .................... Live Local, Be Local, and whenever possible ........................... BUY Local!!!!!

The first time I went there, the waitress dumped a tray full of waters down my back. No biggie, no comped meal, just an I'm sorry. Whatever. Food was fine, nothing special to me. It seemed on par with fast food, but with closer to restaurant prices.

Do yourself a favor and don't come here. Trust me. The service is the worst! I have never been treated like that in my life! This is my second time here because I believe in second chances but nah ah plus if u are gonna charge what u charge for pasta and pizza that much u better give a good service and these people they don't even take your order! Anyways don't come here that's all.

The butternut squash ravioli was probably some of the best I've had. They also gave us good bread right out of the oven when we first sat down. Service was good too

I found the food to be pedestrian. Ordered the Caesar salad and the gnocchi. I really wanted a trio of the sauces as the all looked interesting on the menu. We asked the waiter if that was possible and he talked me down to two. The pesto and mushroom. I wasn't feeling the red sauce. So sure. Evidently the owner didn't allow this and so I got the shrooms. Flavor was bland. I'd try the place again to see if it was an anomaly.

Bona Vita is headed down the right track... Lets start with that. This was a Yelp find, and a Yelp dine. Heeding the comments, opinions and suggestions of Yelp Nation, we headed in. Upon arrival, it felt like we had a fast pass to Space Mountain. We were seated immediately (huge plus for a saturday at 7!) Unfortunately the magic of Bona Vita from a service standpoint would end there. It took close to 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. As we casually waited, we were lucky enough to witness a neighbors to the West get up to ask for water, a cup of tea of coffee, and return a plate because it was ice cold (yikes!) Alas, our server came, was over apologetic, but more to the point - not a huge deal to me, but probably should have exchanged a pleasantry or two. Food was ordered at the first visit because we waited so gosh dang long. I think I memorized the menu. We ordered an appetizer coconut shrimp, the carbonara, and the nastari. The appetizer AND food was brought out all at the same time. I ordered chicken with my dish it didn't come with it. I would have asked to have it when he came to check on us OR fill our waters, but, he choose to do neither of those options. Ugh. Remember, our neighbors to the West? As they were leaving they had conversation with whom I assumed to be a "suit", and they were quoted as saying "that is the worst service I've ever had." That may be pushing it IMO, but yes it was PRETTY bad. I give this place 3 stars because the food, was actually quite good, appropriately priced, adequately portioned, and the experience of this being in the outlet mall is pleasantly surprising. I would try this place again as my negative review is based mainly on extremely poor service that both I and unfortunately what I observed others received.

The food and atmosphere has always been good and now they've finally fixed the service. I've had nearly flawless service from 4 different servers the last 6 times I've eaten there for lunch or dinner. Portions are huge! You'll take home tomorrow's lunch every time especially if you have trouble saying no to their endless homemade bread! Their burger just won Best of State so I had to give it a go. I was not disappointed! Killer Angus burger. There really isn't one bad thing on the menu and we've tried just about everything. My only critique at this point is that their chicken is sometimes dried out because I think they pre-cook it. If Todd, the owner, can fix that he's got 5 1/2 stars!

This is a great Italian place on the more authentic side. The menu is small but the quality is very good. The meal comes with complementary bread with oil and vinegar. ( very good) and the meal was fantastic. fresh and full of flavor. The price was fair for what you got. I will definitely eat there again.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Staff was super nice and kept the diet cokes flowing. I had the Ensalada de pollo and it was delish! My husband loved the pizza. They gave us a GENEROUS basket of warm bread when we sat down.. So yummy! We'll be back!!

What disappoints me the most is that apparently this place has won a best of state award. Hey guys, this isn't good Italian! You can make this stuff at home. The noodles taste like they come from a box. Let's refine the taste buds in Lehi, UT! #please

Five stars based on 1. Quick service 2. Good bread (cut from a giant loaf so you know it's fresh) 3. Scampi Alonso: Bacon wrapped shrimp in pink sauce. This dish was amazing and a good portion of shrimp. Very crispy bacon in a tasty sauce 4. Pizza Diavola: the pizza was good. It's a thin crust so if you don't like that style beware. Good amount of cheese and pepperoni with a good flavor. I'd recommend it. 5. Server kept the refills coming and offered to-go cup.

Tried this place out after reading the reviews. It's in a nice location and the staff is really nice. Went for lunch. They provide bread to snack on. It wasn't warm which was OK but it was bland which was a bummer. I ordered the Alfredo. Again- bland flavors. Nothing to write home about. Maybe they were having an off day. I'll try it again in the future. Overall though , this visit wasn't a standout. pretty average.

Same name but not entirely the same as the Park City location. Food was disappointing the gnocchi al pesto was very very salty and half the size portion but the same price as the Park City location. Spaghetti portion was good size. Small wine list. Nice modern building.

Whaaaaaaaaat?! Good Italian food at an Outlet Mall? Makes no sense. The before-dinner bread was fantastic, it was great watching them pull the 13"x17" ban with one giant loaf from the oven. Only thing that was frustrating was that we asked to sit upstairs for a little more quiet (guest from out of the country was with us) and they said no. 5 minutes later they opened it up because they filled the main floor. Oh well.

I went there for a wine tasting that "Cortland?" the assistant manager presented. He did a bunch of Orin Swift wines and some others that were all great. He was extremely knowledgeable about them and paired them with the restaurants food. I will definitely be coming back to try the food and wine in larger quantity. Finding a good wine restaurant in Utah is not easy and their menu is great for an area such as Lehi.

Very mixed feelings about our experience. The waitress asked my daughter and I if we were celebrating anything by going to dinner. No? Awkward. The menu was confusing. We ordered the "grilled"mozzarella alla corrzza. It was definitely "fried" and so salty I almost gagged. The fresh crusty bread with oil and balsamic vinegar was delicious!! And my daughter loved her Italian soda. Five stars for them. The mixed green salad added to any entree for $1.50 wasn't on the menu so I asked what it included. The waitress said mixed greens, tomatoes and carrot curls with balsamic vinaigrette. Well, the salad came with the previously mentioned items plus red onion and olives--which I hate. So she brought me a salad as described. It was difficult to eat because the carrot curls were HUGE and impossible to cut, so we ate them with our fingers. Not very classy. Our entrees came immediately after the salads and with the appetizer. It would have been nice to have them spaced out so we could enjoy each course. The gnocchi fungi and Alfredo entrees were very hot and flavorful--five stars. They were $12.95 and $9.95 for small portions though. The owner was wearing what looked like a mechanic's uniform with his name embroidered on it. The tables are long and low (too low to cross your legs or get comfortable), so he asked us to stack our plates and pass them to him. Really? This isn't a casual BBQ restaurant. We were full, but I love cheesecake, so I ordered it plain because I have had an allergic reaction to raspberries. Well, guess what the owner delivered to our table? Yup--raspberry cheesecake. When I explained to the waitress why I couldn't eat it, she offered not to charge me for it but didn't offer to BRING ME WHAT I ORDERED. She and the manager had a "discussion" AT OUR TABLE about whose fault it was for the mixup. My daughter and I were very uncomfortable. Don't know if we will give this restaurant another chance.

Outstanding food and even better service. Lexi did a great job recommending items. This was our first visit but won't be our last. Take it from someone who spent the better part of his life in restaurants. This place is great. If you find yourself at the outlets at traverse take the time to eat at this restaurant. You won't regret it.

We were in the Lehi area on a work trip and with a small group. Sit down dining options are very limited in the close vicinity so we decided to give it a try. Reservations were handled well and we had a minimal wait for our table. It is a tastefully done interior and there was no noticeable kitchen noise. Service was timely and attentive. That's the good news. Score: 4. I ordered the Caesar with chicken. The romaine was on the limp side, like it had been sitting chopped in the fridge for hours. Dressing was sparse and neutral (bland). The poor chicken was the driest I have ever had in a restaurant. Just flat and stringy, must have been frozen and microwaved to thaw. Score: 2 So I say 3 stars. It seemed other's dishes, mostly pastas, was better received. If we were to go back, I would order differently.

Bona Vita is surprising (in a good way). I did not expect to find a place with a good vibe and tasty Italian in Lehi Utah. I have to say the staff all seemed very helpful and friendly. The hostess helped me out with my takeout order and was kind enough to offer calling me when the order was ready. The calamari was really good. The Nastari is a hit (and REALLY good leftover the next day). I do wish they had included bread with my takeout order. i am not sure if this is not typically included or an oversight by the staff. The patio out front actually has a great view and it would be awesome to bring someone not familiar to the area here to enjoy it. Bona Vita, keep your staff happy and keep them hired, they really added to my experience.

Lunch at opening time, with my daughter. Nice to sit outside in the shade. Our server was very nice and helpful without being "Utah" cheesy. Pizza and half a salad, both good. I just want to add, this is not a high-end restaurant nor expensive so Please take it for what it is, good, in Lehi, UT.

  • Michael G.

If this restaurant was anywhere else but Lehi, UT, I probably would have only given them 2 stars because they have some work to do on their recipes. But, before I get to that, I have to give them major kudos on their staff and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. They did not interrupt me every 5 minutes to explicitly ask if I needed anything, but I could tell they we monitoring my table and were right there when I did need something. The atmosphere was really nice, trendy, but not overstated. It certainly seemed to be fairly well thought out. Now to the food. I can't go terribly hard on them because I do travel to New York frequently and was just there last week, and of course had some top notch Italian cuisine. IMHO, the owners and executive chef of Bona Vita would do well to make a few trips to NY to pick up some pointers. For starters, the bread was not fresh out of the oven as one reviewer wrote, so I did not think it was awesome. Rather, it was kinda bland and perhaps a little dry as far as bread goes. The caesar salad was plain and had virtually no flavor to qualify it as a caesar salad. It was basically romaine lettuce with a hint of dressing that looked like it might have had a few particles of anchovy, a decent amount of (likely packaged) parmesan cheese, and some ordinary croutons. I prefer a more creamy caesar dressing unless it's being made from scratch at table-side as some upper-end restaurants do. I wasn't expecting that here, but I would have certainly liked the dressing to be more of a... well, creamy caesar dressing. I added salt and pepper to give the salad *some* flavor, which I consider to be a no-no. For my entree, I had the Chicken Parmesan. There were some positives and negatives to this dish. First, the marinara was very plain, as if they opened a can of plain tomato sauce and warmed it up as-is. Missing were the italian flavors of oregano, garlic, and whatever else really good italian chefs sneak into their sauces. Same thing goes for the breading on the chicken... very plain. Now, here's what they got right. The Alfredo sauce tasted like they made it from scratch, and like they actually knew what they were doing. It had the right flavor and constancy and definitely qualifies as excellent Alfredo sauce. Another big plus was the pasta... it was actually cooked al dente the way pasta is supposed to be. So many places over cook the pasta which just turns it into mush. So, great job there Bona Vita! Having said all that, I can honestly say the food was good, especially for the super reasonable prices. It just didn't taste like authentic italian. But hey, it is Lehi, UT. So, fuggedaboutit!

Finally! An authentic Italian dining option in Utah County. Moreover, it is a huge addition to the sparse restaurant options near Traverse Mountain. The design and atmosphere of Bona Vita are great; unlike most mass produced decor common in America these days. Food is fantastic and pricing is reasonable. Do yourself a favor - EAT AT BONA VITA!!

Service was fast, food was average, I belive the chicken parmigiana is that one frozen and you just fry and serve, I hope they can fix that, so easy to do in house chicken breaded, I'll give them another try

Stop the madness seriously stop it. Why do people continue to go to such terrible restaurants when there are better options out there like Bona Vita. We went here today after partially vomiting by merely looking at Johnny Rockets, neighboring restaurant at the outlets in Lehi. Hoping for a fresh, local, good food joint, I dare say we found one. Let me premise with the fact that I've become a food snob. My wife is an excellent cook and so I expect excellent food, anything less just angers me. I also grew up in an Italian home, my mother is full blooded Italian, her parents jumped off the boat from Sicily in the early 1900's. I don't like typical "italian" restaurants... The restaurant has a great vibe to it, quaint, sophisticated atmosphere with a hint of rustic flare, I dig. The menu was authentic Italian, see pic, with items like ravioli, pizza, pasta etc... my wife and I decided to share the Alfredo and pepperoni pizza. We went with more typical dishes so we could get a good idea of their flavors, we were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was cooked in a brick oven, kudos for that. The crust was thin and crisp, but not overly flakey, the way it should be. The sauce tasted fresh, light, very pleasant to the palate. Pepperoni was on par with everything else, and along comes the cheese; smooth, flavorful cheese, not the rubber string stuff you expect elsewhere. Overall the pizza was excellent a near 10 in quality. The Alfredo is my wife's dept but I'll try to sum it up. The dish was light, not the heavy Alfredo. Noodles were proportioned well and offered a tender, supple texture. My wife loved it, so did I. So people, must I say it again STOP THE MADNESS. We musnt condone the sub par establishments that claim to be restaurants. Raise your standards to new highs, no longer accept the mediocre garbage being served. Go to Bona Vita... manja

Where to start... First off great look and feel inside. Server was great. She knew the menu and was nice. The young man serving bread and busing tables needs a little better training. He brought our bread and as I watched him he would go over to his station and cut more bread. The problem was he kept running his fingers through his hair and never once used gloves while cutting bread and continued touching bread and hair and busing tables. Definitely makes me question returning even though food was great. Please pay attention to details.

I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and the food was outstanding. I went with my wife and kids and the young man who waited on us was very patient and accommodating. I split a small pizza with my son and it was really, really good. Don't be fooled by the mall location-it's definitely worth visiting. The decor was nice as well. Will be back for sure!

Tried this place and it was NOT good. Bread was yellow and tasted like gluten free bread, very thick and had a funky taste. Pizza, had a very chewy base and the sauce for the spaghetti was just awful. I don't know how they were in business we were the only people in the place. Guess that should have told us something.

My husband and I stopped by here with our daughter for lunch while shopping. When we first walked in I was wowed by their interior! It looks seriously great! I was close to asking where they got their light fixtures from; they are so neat! Unfortunately, our good impression ended there. The food was just not good. We each ordered a pizza and got Mac n cheese for the little one. The pizzas were "thin crust" which to them meant a pizza cracker. With almost no sauce. And even if you like that style of pizza, this crust was painful to chew. I had to stop after a couple pieces because it was just hurting my teeth. And my daughter's Mac n cheese was just terrible. Velveeta, anyone? Sprinkling some mozzarella cheese on top doesn't make it any better. And it was overcooked to the point that the noodles just dissolved as soon as you put it in your mouth. Gross. The prices here are also terrible. We paid a whopping $35 without drinks or dessert, after being thoroughly disappointed with our lunch. Go ANYWHERE else but Bona Vita. And if you do like the wood-fired, thin crust style pizza, go to Settebello's downtown! It NEVER disappoints!

An interesting location with an upscale feel. The decor is great and the service is attentive. Now lets talk food, please pay attention here.... get pasta or pizza and you will be happy. The fettuccine is excellent. Its creamy and by far the best thing I tried here. The butternut ravioli was fantastic but its sweet so be advised. The table bread is phenominal. Kids meals are generous and better than average in quality. Now for the bad. The famed burger. Seriously I am so confused here. I found it bland with way to much on it. The bottom was horribly greasy and i found myself using a fork and knife to avoid picking it up. Its loaded but its all soft items making it overkill. The fries are thick and a little dry. Seriously its utah get some fry sauce, OR just stick with what you do really well. As a side note I tried the calamari , it was average at best but at least it wasnt chewy. 4 for the italian food only

I came here last night almost at closing time, had the Lasagna and was delicious; the bread was also fresh. Very good service. They also served cold "beer" which to the rest of the world, outside of Utah is very important. Great job!

We heard this was a good place to eat and wanted to try something new. We were happy to see that reviews were positive for the food. Our experience was completely opposite. My wife had the Gnocchi Fungi and I had the Natali. The sauce was the same for both dishes; the sauce was good but everything else was disappointing. For one, the gnocchi dish looked like it was a kid's portion. It was plain gnocchi and had 2 little slices of mushroom; it's supposed to be a mushroom and gnocchi dish. We've made much better gnocchi at home. The Natali had the same sauce and had 4 little slices of mushroom. The chicken with the Natali was horrible. It obviously was cooked a different day and had been sitting in the fridge; you know what left-over chicken tastes like. It was tough and dry and tasted like fridge. We said something to our server, Jill, who was awesome by the way, and she went and spoke to the owner. The owner came out to apologize. He said they cook all their meat in the morning so they can be faster in the evening when they get busy. Mine had obviously been left-over from the previous day and I was the lucky one to get it. He said they "will hurry and get some fresh off the grill for you; it will take 2 minutes." He brought it out and it was cold, not even close to being a little bit warm. Definitely fresh out of the fridge, not the grill. It did taste better and must have been cooked that morning but was still dry and tough. it was very disappointing and we won't be going back. They could be a good restaurant but need to learn to cook their meats at the time of order so they are hot, juicy, and tender and fresh. Good restaurants don't precook this kind of thing. This also would explain why other reviews talk about not being able to enjoy their salads or appetizers before the main dish comes out; it's precooked and tastes like it.

There is a serious lack of good restaurants in North Utah County, Bona Vita Italian Bistro helps correct that. We enjoyed our dining experience and we will come back again. 1. The service was very good, we were seated quickly and were well taken care of 2. The bread was fresh and tasted great with oil and balsamic 3. The coconut shrimp was the best I have ever had - I don't generally like coconut shrimp, that is my wife's thing, but in this case I give it a thumbs up and I would order it again. 4. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was a unique recipe, it arrived hot and and well prepared. This is definitely a new start up restaurant with glitches to work through, but the effort to do things right is apparent. I give it 5-stars not because there is no room for improvement, but because it was good and I look forward to trying out more of the menu. Thanks!

Fantastic food, great service. Very nice ambience and industrial decorum. Finally something unique for this area. Have tried a few different dishes. Favorites so far are ravioli di formaggio, gnocchi pesto and caprese. Lots of meat in the lasagna -- our son loved it. Staff has always been attentive, personable and professional. Will be back for the ravioli again.

Hmm... to start, the restaurant was drafty and from the start I was not comfortable. To add insult to injury, there is no breeze way and that compounded the issue. The food, well... I'm Italian and that was not Italian food to me. For those who like a sweet sauce with their pasta it's the place to go. However, make sure you ask them not to overcook their protein. The chicken was overcooked and the same goes for the shrimp. I hate to nix a place, but I feel they can do a much better job for the product they desire to deliver. The owner spoke with me in detail about the location, the retrofit design, their renovation, the breeze, the food and more. He was very gracious and listened very closely. He also offered dessert on the house which was passed on. However, I will try this establishment again and will reevaluate my rating at that time... I'll give it a few months to settle in. If you eat here in the winter, be sure to sit on second floor to avoid the cold breezes.

Bona Vita is a new favorite. The food is wonderful -- fresh, prepared to order. The service is very attentive. Owners Todd and Eduardo (chef) greet patrons warmly and give individualized attention. Be sure to try the sorbets served in the fruit shell. They are outstanding.

The food was good - I had the ravioli alla nonna and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was. My wife had the bolognese - it was also delicious. The kids loved their pasta and Italian sodas - they were so good that I wished I had ordered one myself. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seemed very disorganized. They didn't bring us bread (we asked for it after we ate our meal when we noticed other tables getting it because we wanted to try it - I'm really glad we did, it was great). When we asked if we could get the kid's pasta without the sauce it comes with he didn't think we could at first. After we pushed he agreed, but it just seemed kind of weird - why wouldn't you be able to order noodles without sauce? When we ordered Italian sodas for our kids we asked what kind of cup it came in - he said it is a tall, skinny glass. We asked for it in a smaller cup with a lid. I think that he thought we were trying to get them to split them up into two smaller ones to save money (we weren't, we just knew our kids would spill them everywhere in a tall glass) and he told me we couldn't. Again, we pushed for a different option he said he could bring them in foam cups with lids on them, which worked great. Why did we have to push, though? I think if I were a waiter and a kid ordered a drink in a tall, skinny glass I would recommend a foam cup with a lid on it, not be reluctant to offer it when they ask. When the drinks came the waiter only had one straw for our four drinks. He put it on the table, shrugged and walked off. I expected him to bring three more straws. He never did - when I realized this I walked around until somebody noticed I was looking for something and quickly got me three straws (I believe this was the manager and/or owner). The food is good and I would guess with time it will get better. I can't imagine the service not improving - it is a new store so I understand they are still in the training stage with all of the employees. I have high hopes for Bona Vita and hope they are successful as I really like having a decent sit-down Italian restaurant in Lehi.

OH BOY!!! This place is terrific! I had a glass of "premium" red wine which was very good before my meal and worked for a half hour before ordering. Wait staff was very tentative and allowed me to work in peace. I asked what they were known for and the waiter recommended "ALLA NASTARI" and it was delicious. I started with a house salad (Tricolore) and it was just the right size and very fresh. Finished with a second glass of wine and loved working with free wifi (ask for password) and never felt rushed. I will be back during my next business tip. Very reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. Can't wait to come back and try something different.

This place has such a comfortable atmosphere. We chose this place based off of the reviews and it definitely met the expectations. My 6 year old had the pizza an it was excellent! I had the penne rustics that wasn't too spicy but had tons of flavor. I tried a bite of everyone's dish. Their Alfredo sauce was the best I've ever had. They also have a creamy tomato sauce that is just delicious. Every sauce was above expectations. Highly Recommend this place!

Well it's a much needed addition to this end of the valley. So here we go Our party of 4 visited for lunch. There is no air curtain over front door so if you are seated at any of the 8 tables within a 15' radius of door, your experience becomes quite miserable every time door is opened. Bread was offered with oil and vinegar. The waiter poured the oil and literally several drops of vinegar. Odd.... Who eats oil and bread. When we requested more vinegar, tje waiter politely poured an additional tablespoon. Why not place vinegar and oil on table ??? The bread was cold, not room temp, cold. Heating the bread would be a welcome upgrade to this amenity. Also, no plates were supplied for the bread. Table ends up covered in crumbs. Again, disappointing. The Caesar salad is more balsamic in nature and very good flavor. Bolognese was served warm and proved flavorful with nice texture. Pasta cooked well. Quatro formagio also cooked well, cheese and cream blended well and nice subtle flavor. Good. Seafood chowder soup was wayyy too salty The waiter was prompt and attentive with drinks, water refills. However, mispronounced the name of every entree. Lol. Learn proper terminology for staple italian dishes. :) Busing table was obviously a new task not yet experienced here. Don't ask patrons to help clear plates, police silverware etc. Don't hang out at end of table stacking dishes. Entrees were very good and hopefully they perfect their operation moving forward. Needs much help! We'll be back for a dinner service. We live on Traverse Mountain so we have high hopes for Bona Vita!!!

  • Derek W.

The food was moderately tasty, and everyone seemed to enjoy what they ate. Mine was a tad generic, bland and definitely overpriced. If I pay $15 for a Penne Rustica and only find 7-8 small pieces of sausage, expect me to be a little bothered. My wife ordered soup that was never delivered, we remembered as we were leaving, but that isn't our job. Also in regards to the location, very poor seating downstairs. Very cold when the doors open, and seems almost "fast-food" like with the seating. For a claimed "fancy Italian restaurant" I expected the seating to resemble such. The dessert yogurt shop next to it (same owners) should be demoed and have the seating more elaborate for the Italian side. The yogurt shop can't hold more than one couple as is, you could touch one wall with one hand and reach the other. Offer included gelato sorbet with all meals (spaghetti factory style) and build a wall to block the cold wind Into your restaurant. Looks like i'm not the only one to mention the poor placement of the restrooms.

Plenty of parking. Service was good. Came at 7:30 on a Friday night and had no wait which was a pleasant surprise but seemed a little strange at the same time. Ordered a caprese salad for starters and found it very strange there was no basil in the salad. it had mixed lettuce greens. Very strange and disappointed. Pictures on yelp look good but again missing basil. I ordered the pesto gnocchi and it came out as a big pile of light green. The potato dumplings were a bit heavy...and the pesto sauce was a pesto cream sauce. Very rich...I would've preferred toasted gnocchi with house made fresh pesto. Others at my table ejoyed their food more than i did but I think that's because they like Italian more than I do. If you look at the pictures on yelp it seems only the pizzas have contrasting colors on the plate. Three of the four entrees came out and we had to wait another 5 to 7 minutes before the fourth dish came out which left us all sitting there waiting for the last dish to arrive before any of us started to eat. That was a little bit annoying. Later the owner did come out and greeted us and he was very nice. I'm really a big fan of supporting local and want them to do well but think they should tweak a few things based on reviews here and otherwise. Hoping they can work out some of those kinks.

Yes! Finally good italian food in northern Utah County. Atmosphere is good, the food is great. Even the appetizer bread is fantastic. If you like crappy chain-style italian, you may not like it. But if you can pronounce gnocci, bolognese and other traditional italian dishes, you'll love it.

Ate at Bona Vita for the first time with a bunch of friends. The ambiance was great! The food was ok, but was not as seasoned as I like Italian food. The entree portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I tried the salmon with pasta and the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was tender and juicy, but the pasta was overcooked in both dishes. I prefer my pasta al dente and the pasta was cooked 1-2 minutes past that. Overall we had a good experience and I would go back if I was at the outlets; but I would not go out of my way to go there.

    (3)
  • Photini S.

Another restaurant was needed at the outlets so I am glad for that. The food was average but priced like nice Italian. Our table was tiny and barely had room for our food. They only had one white and one red wine which were box wines. I don't think I will be going back.

    (2)
  • Lisa M.

Average. Although the owner is high class and cares about his clients, the food is overpriced and not fantastic. It's good, but not great. The bread is huge, but flavorless. Even a hint of rosemary or thyme would go SOOO far with it. Anyway, the shrimp salad is really good, but like I said, average. I could take it or leave it. I'd be hard pressed to go there again because I could go elsewhere and get REALLY good food.

Great place for a date, not too pricey. The bread they give you for sharing is amazing! I give it four stars because the Bv Burger was delicious but too greasy for one tiny napkin. The total cost came out to about thirty bucks including the tips.

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Also the best service I've ever had. The waiter was even honest about not ordering the steak sandwich & made other recommendations instead. The ambience is great. I hate giving bad reviews of places, but I did not have a good experience. I ordered the penne with chicken in a creamy tomato sauce (alla something). First of all there was WAY too much sauce and it just tasted off. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was almost like a bad tomato soup. Thinking about it a little more I think it was low quality tomato paste I was tasting. My wife ordered the ravioli alla nonna, which I tried and was actually pretty good. There were a bit too many strong flavors in it with the spicy sausage competing with the capers and the sun dried tomatoes though. The ambiance was good, decor was awesome. The bread was not good at all, but with a little balsamic vinegar it tasted ok. Service was pretty poor, but I don't care too much about that. I would give it another shot, but I would have to get a pizza next time. Those looked good.

Come for the bread... Stay for the gnocchi!! We have been here twice and both times did not disappoint. The bread is AMAZING, they cook it there and it's so delish! I am a huge gnocchi fan and I find it hard good quality gnocchi or any at some italian places. I highly recommend the Gnocchi Al Bolognese. If you are looking for a great starter besides the bread with oil, try the caprese. You won't be disappointed with this hidden gem!

Great addition to the north end of Lehi. The ambiance is awesome - service was almost TOO great (they were VERY attentive - perhaps because they haven't been open long they wanted to make sure we were satisfied). My friend and I ordered two different pastas - both were delicious and the prices were reasonable. The only negative was the garlic cheese bread - it was overwhelmingly garlicky and hardly any cheese. Maybe it was the batch of garlic bread? We will definitely come again.

I've only been here once, but I will be coming back. The food was great and it was decently priced as well. The owner stopped by our table and was very cordial. The service wasn't super special, but it wasn't sub-par either. It's definitely the best option near the outlet malls if you're looking for something other than fast-food.

Really underwhelmed after the great reviews. Staff was not well trained and that more than anything made the experience not very enjoyable. Food was good but there are better places for everything we tried.

I order Caprese everywhere I go, and this was the tastiest ever. The Bolognese was excellent as well. Very, very good.

bona vita, is a very classy, clean, and over all great restaurant. our waitress was very informed on the menu and was never slacking with the drink refills! (which is important) I ordered the Alfredo noodles w/ chicken, the food was very hot and very delicious. you could definitely tell that they use fresh ingredients. HIGHLY recommended.

I enjoyed Bona Vita very much, it was savory and delicious. I was quite happy with my meal, especially considering because I live in San Francisco and have many authentic Italian options. The decor was beautiful, except I could not cross my legs under the table, so that is the reason for 1 star removed. I was greeted by the friendly staff and the chef, who was very personable. The bread was loved by my mother, but slightly dense for me. Excellent main course with salad and coconut shrimp!

After reading the reviews we thought we would give it a try. The only good things were the lemonade and the mixed green salad. Everything else ... Not so good. My wife commented that our kids make better sauces and pasta at home. The bread was dry and flavorless. The red sauce was bland, the red peppers and capers were not fresh and had to have been from a can/jar. Even the jumbo shrimp (a supposed favorite) were tough and chewy. The price wasn't justified for this quality of food.

We were hoping to have a good meal at a non-chain restaurant in the Lehi area. We tried a variety of things - salmon, chicken marsala, chicken and vegetables - and found the food to be bland. There was no one to greet us when we arrived - however once we got our server - they were attentive. The best thing we had was a salad - so we are not likely to return.

Me and my husband decided to try it out and we were very impressed. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was great to. Prices were your average italian food prices, and totally worth it. Delish! We liked having another option than a burger and fries. They also brought out our food way fast. We will be back.

I was very excited about this restaurant until I got there. This is located and the outlets mall. I had 5 big bags with me and nobody else was there. The waiter gave me a very small table for 2 and I asked to be moved to a bigger table. He gave me the speech saying that even with nobody there he preferred to keep that table for big parties. Ok! He came back 10 minutes later to take my order. My boyfriend can't eat tomatoes so he asked for a salad without tomatoes. The waiter told him that the tomatoes were big enough so he could take pick them by himself. Ok! That was the last time that I saw my server. The Gnocchi was frozen. The sauce was can sauce I could totally tell. The steak sandwich had no flavor. The server walked by so we handed him the card to pay. It was the most disappointing and frustrated experience that I ever had in SLC. Go next door!!! They have awesome burgers and very well trained servers!

I really liked the decor of the restaurant - everything is made out of these huge wooden beams - the tables, chairs, benches, railings. I got a chance to talk to the owner who said they were all reclaimed from an old railroad bridge built in 1894. We had the nastari - penne pasta with tomato cream sauce, mushrooms, chicken and parmesan as well as the filet. Both were superb. The service was very good too. I would say it's nearly as good as Luganos but without the 25 min drive.

Mama Mia! Outrageously good food. We had the pizza and the ensalata de pollo. Everything was delicious! They did an awesome job on the ambiance and decor. Something on the menu for everyone...from your off-the-boat Italian grandmother to your red neck brother-in-law.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
