I'm not that impressed. Not being from around here I have never been here to eat so it is very uncomfortable when you walk in and no one's there. I finally got through that and ordered the guacamole burger. The guacamole was brown meaning it was either old or left out. The burger was small and the cheese fries weren't all that impressive.

Really? A very thin hamburger with lettuce and the smallest cheese fries (which were cold) and a medium drink for $11.51? Way too much money for poor quality food. The service is slow and the employees seemed completely out of touch with reality. Never again.

I have no bad things to say, not even a slight complaint and for me that is rare....nearly impossible really! This place is fantastic! I have been 3 times, and get the Hickory Burger with bacon and cheese fries everytime. I live the dipping sauce since it is the same sauce I have been eating on my fries for over 20 years! My friends get the some turkey sandwich which looks equally as bomb as my burger but once I like something, I do not defer from it unless it makes me sick! (Why fix something that isn't broken, right? Right!!!) Always clean, friendly staff, always quick and efficient.

My toddler is fascinated by the phone that is used at the Training Table to call an order in from your booth. Probably because land-line-looking phones don't exist in our house! It makes for a "fun" game at mealtime, called: Mom expends a lot of energy playing "keep the curious toddler away from the phone"! Beyond that, I like the Training Table. I like their burgers. I really like their cheese fries. And their unique fry-sauce?! What's not to like about that? So yummy! I like the way they have their complimentary water station set up. And I like that they haven't been overly-busy when I have visited, because it helps my food arrive very quickly. I like that they renovated their space too. Yes. The Training Table is one if my favorite places to eat, in the area.

They are not having a good night tonight. It's not full but for some reason they are extra slow. We ordered our food at 7:09. We didn't get our food till 7:39. Several other tables around us were very unhappy also. On a high note a young kid came to bus the table next to ours and was extra friendly checking to see if we were doing ok.

Horror in layton! It's really sad to see such a pathetic attempt at running a restaurant. I cant believe that there are owners or managers that would let such a lame joke of a restaurant continue to operate. Do yourself a favor and and start a new career path. Maybe shoveling manure for a living is more your speed? Because clearly hambergers and hot dogs prepared in an edible fashion is clearly beyond your scope of understanding. Burgers were totally unseasoned fries were totally flavorless. How do you mess up cheese fries? Somehow this group of kids behind the counter have mastered it. I would expect kids in Utah to have a better work ethic. Instead they would rather play grab butt and produce a horrible product. Good luck on achieving any notable accomplishment in your lives! As far as the owner goes maybe try dedicating some real time to you business and see what is really going on! Horrible attempt poor quality in every way. Get it together people!!!

Ordered three burgers and one chicken sandwich. The burgers were good but the chicken sandwich was dry and rubbery and half the size of the bun. Our order was not complete and the young women who took the order and who served at the counter were rude. The price is a little high for quality of the food and the unfriendly staff.

Not what it used to be. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Utah. I loved it! I have not had the opportunity to be back in Utah for about 10 years so when I finally made it back I was excited to eat at The Training Table. I was shocked to see the place in such disrepair. Sadly the food has suffered the same fate as the building. It's just not good anymore. Thought it might just be me but then logged on and read the reviews and noticed they have been closing locations. It's sad that they ruined such a unique restaurant

I love their ordering setup! You sit at the table, pick up the phone on your table and order. When your food is ready they ring you back and you pick it up. They are a gourmet burger joint, so they have a lot of burger choices. They also have other options if you don't want a burger. They have huge salads! One of my favorite options are the Cheese Fries, loaded with melted cheese on top! A full order will feed 3-4 people. Don't forget their ultimate dipping sauce, it is a must!

Stop in there on a Friday Night. Not busy; tables dirty and not bused; cleaned our own table & bus boy wiped it off. Waited 7-10 minutes on the phone to place order. Table next to us waited also. No one picking up, so we got up and left. Won't be back!

It's about time they updated! The new look is great. Prices are still a bit steep for what you get, but when the place isn't a total dump it's easier to shell out the money for those glorious cheese fries.

I love the training table. I probably eat there 3 times a month or more. The reason I gave 3 stars is the wait. I get a burger and cheese fries and split it with my wife, and it took 45 minutes. Why so long for 1 burger? They need to figure that out.

The food is way overpriced compared to restaurants like Red Robin. $10+ for a meal is not a good deal. The burgers are decent but the burgers lack that fresh taste. The fries are okay. Overall the place is nice, the kids working there are nice, but the food is way overpriced for the quality.

So glad they updated the place--really like the new look. Food is great and there's plenty of it! Bleu bacon burger is always a winner. Glad they added sweet potato fries to the menu and drink refills-finally! Two thumbs up!

No customer service skills at all, went their this past weekend and worst time ever. While ordering I was told to hold on and as I looked to the front the order taker was on her cell phone talking to someone else. As I went up after about 30 min again the 2 girls were hating away on cell phones I actually had to say excuse me to get their attention. Just fries were cold burger was plain and definitely not going back here again.
