We had KJ, he was great! Wonderful food, try the fried pickles!

I am going to head back to bountiful next time I go here. Portion sizes have decreased considerably. The staff makes the restaurant and they struggled. When I go and my order is cheap it usually ends up earning me bad service knowing the tip would be peanuts. Consistency lacks in customer service. I have had issues with how flirty and fake some servers at bountiful are but they care more about their customers and their kitchen staff has it together. This place is not a good option for big families due to lack of big group seating.

What can you say it is a chain restaurant with decent food and adult beverages. The food we had on our visit to the Layton location was good, nothing extraordinary. We were seated in the bar which works for us and it was going well until they sat a father and his three young kids directly next to us, they proceed to talk at the top of their lungs and kick the seat to no end, they ruined our meal. The question is why did they sit them in the bar, the place was all but empty and the father drank soda so they could have annoyed someone else in the restaurant area. My review is based on the food not this horrible experience. My only request of Texas Roadhouse is to try and respect the "adult" spaces and sit annoying folks like this in a back corner away from other folks.

Great food, bread, staff...and drinks. The steaks are always great (bone in ribeye is a must).

Ribs and Fort Worth Ribeye are favorites! Along with fried pickles. They don't take reservations but have call ahead seating for those busy nights, so don't forget top call before you come! Great food and better service!

I really want to like this location but I am repeatedly let down. Texas Roadhouse at other locations is awesome, but they can't seem to get it right here. I've given it 3-4 tries since it opened and they repeatedly have the WORST customer service. The hostesses are always unhelpful, and we seem to get servers that are brand new and forget everything or one that is too busy flirting with the table next door to even check up on us. I will not be going to this location again, it's worth driving to bountiful or Ogden for a better location. If you don't mind bad service, this is your place.

Good things The rolls are to die for Their M-Th, before 6pm menu is a good bargain even if you have to eat unusually early The service is usually very good Bad things Really, really loud. I don't understand why it's so loud Once in awhile the service is just awful

Read as 4.5 stars and yes, I know it is a chain. We arrived here on a very snowy evening-it started snowing in the afternoon and some 18" later, it was still snowing. Anyway, we arrived to a plethora of people greeting us and were seated right away along with a basket of rolls. The kind of rolls Kevin loves and the kind that I can luckily take one bite of and have had enough. This is a chain. This is a new location for this chain and it was good. Super good. So good in fact that I will come back to a TR before going to an Outback if available on our travels. Our waitress Tricia, was super sweet and when we advised we were first timers, helped explain the menu to us. I ordered the bone-in ribeye medium rare with a loaded baked potato (sans sour cream) and a Caesar salad to start. The salad was the least impressive part-bland though house made dressing. Since it was our first time, the manager came over with a basket of ribs and steak cut fries. She was adorable and as small worlds would have it happened to be from Dublin. Yep, Dublin, CA and we were in Layton, UT. Small world aside, the ribs were fabulous and they were the fall off the bone kind. I didn't try the fries since I am now on year 3 without them. When my steak arrived, it was perfectly cooked, and delicious. They hand cut the steaks here and though I have eaten at the swankiest of swanky steakhouses, this steak was wicked good. Better than the regular old ribeye my dining companion had. To top it off, the price was reasonable for such a great steak considering it also came with 2 sides. Needless to say, I would come back here again and again. Go Meat!

I love this place. Great atmosphere, great service, and freakin' awesome steak. I'm a carnivore at heart, and their bone-in ribeye sings to me! They season their steaks really well, and they are always fine cuts. My steak is always cooked perfectly. I've never had to send one back. My only critique is that they tone down that blasted birthday shout thing that they do. I like the loud music and loud chatter from diners, but somebody standing 1 table away shouting as loud as they can? It makes me want to get medieval with my fork to shut them up. That's their Achilles heal, IMO. But I will ALWAYS come back for that amazing ribeye.

My family comes here to celebrate birthdays all the time, and it is both a fun and embarassing place to enjoy your birthday, as you are seated on a saddle while the staff sing you a Happy Birthday song full of yeeee-hawws! The food is good, overall I've enjoyed it every time I've ate here. I did have an experience once that did leave a nasty taste in my mouth, however. A waitress I had on my birthday this year was extremely rude, and also extremely pushy. She definitely upsold us, and almost forced us to get "fully loaded fries" with cheese, bacon, etc. when we didn't really want them... I even told her no, but she was like, oh you don't want just plain boring fries... She was very pregnant, so that may have simply been her cravings of what she wanted to eat and she was making us eat what she was craving... Idk. But it was rude. Plus the cheese and bacon on the fries wasn't even a bonus.. If anything it detracted from them..

Avoid the Layton location. Have had three meals at this location and all three meals were unsatisfactory. Steak kabobs cooked over done and meat was mostly gristle. Have had the same meal, multiple times at Ogden bountiful and west Jordan, never had any problems with our meals.

Came here while visiting Utah....I so wish they had this place in San Diego! The restaurant had an awesome vibe, the decor was nice. The place was clean and big. I like the huge family style tables and the staff were friendly and funny....jokes and laughs. The house bread was super fresh and sweet, the honey whipped butter, put it over the top though. So good! I had the rib eye steak meal with green beans and sweet potatoes....the steak was cooked to perfection. The green beans were seasoned just right and the sweet potatoes were on point....just like my mom's. The cocktails were fun and good too. The bartender made them just right! Nice family restaurant with good staff and food! A must try for anyone!

I love Texas Roadhouse. I've been to this location about 6 times. I've had steak and burgers here and I've never been disappointed. I've been to a bunch of expensive steakhouses in my life but in reality when I'm crazing a steak and a big beer. I go here. They serve amazing rolls and as many peanuts as you can eat. The service is stellar and I've never had a bad time. What else is there to say except go here? Nothing. Go here.

Mediocre. I've tried several different things on their menu. I've only had one decent experience - I ordered the 8 oz sirloin steak, med-rare and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly! That was about a year ago. The next time I ordered it, I was so excited because of the last experience; it turned out to be over cooked and tasted like rubber. So the next time I tried the country fried steak which was huge but half of it was just batter, not meat. It was ok. Then I tried the cheeseburger thinking that would be difficult to screw up. Somehow they managed it - it was over cooked and dry. There was NO sauce and the lettuce for the toppings was dead and limp. The fries were cold and disgusting. The only good thing (besides the one- time steak) are their appetizers. I'm not a fan of this place - the call ahead seating is stupid and they are stingy with their coupons. I don't think I'm going to venture to try anything else on their menu.

I very much enjoy the food, and I've never been disappointed. The famous Texas Roadhouse rolls are always such a treat as well. However, the atmosphere is very loud, and almost stressful. The wait for the food however, was very long. Would recommend, but expect to be waiting a while if you do go!

My husband and I came in on a Saturday night, so it was fairly busy, despite this we were able to get a seat fairly quickly. Our waitress was very nice and was very attentive. Our food was awesome, we had prime rib and sirloin both of which were incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly.

The food is really quite good. I had a steak that was really good. Is it just me or is it a trend in places like this to have more guys in their 20's waiting tables or what? I have eaten here a couple of times and was served by nice young women, any of whom could have participated in state beauty contests. Now I get some guy waiting on me? Who thinks this is a good idea?

The food is only fair at best . My steak was overdone and tough . When the salads came we had to ask for silverware . And that really pissed off the server . I guess she thought we would bring our own or something . And she was wearing a T shirt that said I LOVE MY JOB . What a joke .Way over priced . It is really loud . Loud enough that you cant even talk to each other . Between the loud music and people yelling to be heard it was completely unpleasant .Also with the way they cram you in there is no way of getting a wheelchair in there . So don't even think of that .Between the bad overpriced food and bad service and the noise level . I wont bother going back .

Thought I would be smart calling ahead but ended up waiting longer! At arrival we were told it would be just a few minutes and so we waited and waited and watched the waiting area empty and new arrivals being setted. It became clear that we had been forgotten. The response from the hostess was "oh" apon asking and we were setted in seconds with no apology or explanation. Ordered the prime rib but sadly minutes later to be told were out. It happens. So ordered the ribeye. Half was cooked well the other half was to rare. Server was ok and food came out quickly. The place is loud and crowded and the poor servers have to wear these stupid t-shits that stats "I love my job" so sad!
