I really want to like this place but each time I come away under-impressed. I've been there at lest a half dozen times and I'm not sure what it is. The decor is fine, the staff seems to be helpful and friendly and the food is OK. Last night we stopped in for a light dinner. I was craving fish tacos and my wife wanted a grilled chicken breast salad. She didn't find what she wanted on the menu, but they happily accommodated her request and brought her a 5oz grilled chicken breast on the top of their house side salad. She said she left still hungry, and the chicken was OK. For the price they charged, it wasn't much food. However, I thought it was nice of them to fill a special request. I had the Mahi-Mahi tacos. There were two small tacos. They were tasty, and I sat there wanting one more. Normally this item comes with a pile of chips and some salsa, but I wanted to skip the chips on this visit so I had them replace the chips with a side salad. Now, here is the funny part. Instead of re-plating the tacos on a small plate, they brought out these two small tacos on a huge plate. I almost laughed out loud. Who is in the kitchen thinking they plated my dinner correctly? It just showed that someone didn't know better or simply didn't care. So, if they don't care about plating, what else don't they care about? Now, this wasn't a huge deal, but it is part of the mediocre experience at Winger's in Kaysville. I give it about 2 1/2 stars, but since that isn't a choice, I'll round up and give them the benefit of the doubt. Suggestions: Rethink the fish tacos. You don't need a pile of corn chips with corn tortillas. Put three tacos on a plate, and add an interesting side dish that complements the tacos. Maybe some black beans across a bed of rice with a slice of avocado as a garnish? Tell the staff to be more fun and smile more. Part of the problem with the ambiance is the lighting. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the overhead lighting is too bright and you need lighting at each table. I'm no expert on lighting, but there are those that are. Have someone come in and give you an evaluation. You are in the same price range as establishments that have taken it up a notch. You need to as well. If people are going out for the evening, they won't come to Wingers because there is nothing to do in Kaysville after you get done with dinner. They will either head to Layton or Farmington for dinner and a movie. So, you need to give them a reason to stay in their home town and eat. There is a dearth of good places to eat in Kaysville. All you need to to is make some small improvements and you can easily beat most of the rest of the places in town.

Bad food. Bad service. How they stay in business is a mystery. My burger tasted like it had been cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Gross.

I remembered from high school that Wingers was an alright place to grab a fast meal during lunch, and since I hadn't been there since then, I thought I'd go. What was kind of strange at first was when I walked in, no one was at the reception. They were all in the back by the kitchen doors talking. They knew I was there, yet did nothing to acknowledge it. The lady, who ended up being my waitress, came and sat me down at one of there booths. She was very nice and friendly. Now I don't like to criticize the people who work in the restaurant business, because I did my time and people can be cruel. But my only thing I would say is that when she took my order, it was so long before I actually got my food. I thought it was weird, since there were only two other booths with people in them. The food was alright. I had the sticky fingers, since thats what they're known for. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything amazing either. Will I go back? Probably not, unless a group of friends peer pressured me into it.

The server I had experienced great difficulty operating the new computer system and didn't know the HUGE 5 beers on tap. So...I'm assuming either the employee was new, having a bad day, not trained well enough, was offered training but couldn't/didn't attend, or had difficulty learning the job (or some combination thereof). My son and I spent longer than we thought we should waiting for food, given the restaurant was only 30% full. They didn't offer a discount or a drink as a kind gesture to apologize for their poor service. The implementation of this new system failed somewhere along the way. What a shame.

The Kaysville Wingers is close to my house, but we rarely go there. Why? Because it's overpriced, and the service experience is underwhelming. Last week I bought a coupon booklet from a neighborhood high-schooler as part of a fundraiser. One of the coupons was for Wingers. I found that dinner wasn't going to make itself one night, and decided to place a take-out order. Maybe I could avoid bad service if I avoided dining in the restaurant? Nope. They told me my entrees would be ready in 20-25 minutes. It actually took me 30 minutes to get there. I pulled up to the take-out window, & the Wingers employee told me he'd get my order. Then he turned away from the window, & answered the phone. And I waited. And waited... After 15 minutes at the window, I was finally given my food. The kicker? My order had been bagged & sitting at the window, within arm's reach of the employee the entire time! I wanted to bang my head against my steering wheel when I saw him pick up & hand me the bags of food that had been sitting there the entire time! After that, I had to wait some more while my ticket was fixed. When I called to place the order: I told them I had a coupon. When I pulled up to the window & gave him my form of payment, I included my coupon, & told the employee it was there... When my check arrived, the coupon hadn't been taken in to account. Argh! Our meals were cold by the time I made it home, and I am certain the two-minute drive wasn't the culprit. Deep-fried foods, like the French fries we ordered don't travel well anyway, but since ours had been sitting around for; who knows how long?! They were in edible. I will say that I like the sauce Wingers puts on their sticky fingers. But considering that it's proving impossible to have a good experience there via both dining in, or getting take-out; I'm hard-pressed to use the sauce as a singular reason to go back.

They ought to come out with a better meal preparation. Not impress at all. Pot pie wasn't chunky at all. I found like 10 little pieces of chicken in it and 80% of it was the broth. No crush on the bottom. Onion rings are smooshy.

They used to have great service and food. Now I would say they only have good food. Service is very very slow and more times than not I'm charged for something I didn't order. Review your check before handing your waitress your credit card.

Food was uuhhmmm naahhh, not that good. I got the blackened chicken alfredo with garlic bread that was soaking in butter. And the chicken was uhhhmm dry, thanks to the alfredo sauce its ok. But the place itself was really nice and clean and organize but as of now, there is a line at the door and the receptionist is nowhere to be found.

All of our burgers were overcooked. Three of us asked for medium and I asked for medium rare. All of us got medium well instead. Since mine was the most overcooked, I asked for it to be cooked correctly. The waitress asked me three different times what I wanted done about it. And three different ways I explained that I wanted it cooked correctly and not a dried out piece of beef. She left the burger on the table and went back to get another one. Fifteen minutes later I still didn't have my burger and the rest of my family had finished eating. Finally, I told her to just bring me the check instead. They did take the burger off my bill, but still dinner cost me $60 for four people. We won't be returning.

I have driven by Wingers in Kaysville many times but as there were never cars parked in the lot, I thought it was closed. Today, I saw the front doors were open so I thought I'd try it for lunch. There were only a few people inside so I was concerned about how good it would be. I ordered their mahi mahi salad. It arrived relatively quickly. The salad was of a below average quality. It reminded me of a salad from a pizza shop, with onions, olives, lettuce and shredded carrots making up the vegetable portion with a poor quality, non imported feta cheese sprinkled on it. The mahi mahi fish portion was grilled and quite tasty. Overall, it was probably worth the $9 price but the salad ingredients need to be tweaked to get a better flavor. Also, I would loose the complimentary popcorn which is served before the meal. My thought: popcorn is for movies, not dinner. I'd rather have a nice roll instead with my salad. I might be back for dinner, but only because it's one of the few places in this BFE town to get a beer with your meal.

We love the food served at Wingers. Sticky fingers are the best! The new menu is great as well. Just tried the new pancakes and I was very happy with the choice. The only negative about the place would be service. The young kids working in the place just don't seem to get it. So if you want good food and can tolerate kids that don't get it waiting on you then Wingers would be a good choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We noticed wingers has started serving breakfast and were excited about the prospect. We came in and we surprised to see we were the only people in the restaurant and the staff was no where to be seen. As we started to leave someone came out of the back and seated us. We asked for a short minute to look over the menu and when we decided on our food, again no one was around to take our order, 15 minutes later the waitress came out took our order and then 25 minutes later our food was brought out to us. We had both gotten sides and they were lumped together on the same plate. The disturbing part was that the whole time we could hear people laughing and screwing around in the back, that is understandable if no one is in the store but with guests there people should be more attentive to the needs of their patrons. When I go to a restaurant I want to eat food that is even slightly better than what I can make at home. This food was not very impressing and I found my self not wanting to finish it. I got the blueberry pancakes with a side of sausage. This was also the first time that I didn't leave a tip also. Service was horrible and the food was just as bad.

Finally tried Winger's after seeing them all over Utah. The sauce on the sticky fingers was good and definitely different than anything else I've tasted but I don't see myself craving it. Our server was very nice and on top of it but the food is just ehhhh.

We have eaten two different timed at this restaurant. The food is mediocre at best. Overly sugary and overly salty = cheap quality ingredients being buried to conceal their taste. With the price of the food I expected much higher quality. We won't be eating here again.
