The green chillie (SP?) bagel was really good - family looked at me like I was insane (Guess I venture on the side of pizzazz) The texture was toothsome but had a great soft center, the chillie gave it amazing flavor - each bite was a balance of texture, savory and creamy. Me likey. I also enjoyed how nice the staff were, the service was a bit slow BUT we did have 5 orders at the same time. So it will take a bit to wait for all the bagels to toast. I like this place for breakfast in Utah.

The bagels are nice and chewy. The shmears are tasty and creamy. And the service is quick and very friendly. "Bu...bu...bu...their bagels aren't as good as the Jewish deli in X part of New York" you say. OF COURSE NOT. This is a chain throughout Utah, and they do a decent job with the bagels. And I've yet to find a better bagel in Utah (which, granted, isn't saying much). But there you have it.

Check the review from Jeffrey S. for explanation of how I found myself at this Einstein's. But just to clarify, I WON the coupons after I ran a 5k. Don't discount their specialness. I have eaten their bagels in the past and always found them to be tasty, particularly when they are warm and fresh. I remember really enjoying a cinnamon sugar one. However, I've been here once for breakfast and then this time for lunch and I have not been impressed at all. The menu is a great read. They seem to have much fresher, healthier, more varied options than most chains around. However, the execution is very poor. Fresh fruit is a few pale chunks of stuff in a little plastic carton. The salads are pre-packaged. And ya, I watched them pull my chicken panini out of a freezer drawer wrapped in saran wrap and throw it in the microwave. I can do that at home! In fact, that's one of the few things I CAN do. So, why would I go out for that? Result? Limp bread, one side so soggy it was inedible, cold-in-the-middle big slab of processed chicken meat product, soggy roasted peppers, pepperoni (which is hard to do wrong) all held together by some pretty tasty pesto. All in all, the sandwich tasted ok, but it was $8 for that with a little carton of salad. hmpff. Sorry. Not gonna do that again.

Bagels OK but service is the worst. They make any governmental agency look efficient. We have experienced this several times in the past and we draw straws to see who will make the journey. Today it was my turn and Einstein reach a new low. Sounds impossible but they outdid their typically horrible service. Two cars in front of me in the drive through and it took 28mins to get my order. The woman took my money and didn't come back for five minutes. When she did she asked me what I wanted, I replied "just my order." Three minutes later she came back with a diet Coke. Only problem is that I didn't order a diet Coke (I know better than to make the order too complex) only bagels - I encourage you to keep it simple at this location. I told her what I ordered and five minutes later she came back with another diet Coke. Then she wanted me to pay for my order again. Took another five minutes for me to explain this to three other employees and show my receipt an additional three times to get my order. Needless to say, after this and numerous episodes like it in the past, we will never go to this location again. The management should be proud to offer so many reasons to never buy from them again.

AGAIN - out of six cheese bagels!! Why not make more of your most popular sellers? This location is out of them more often than not. And DRY OFF tables after wiping them! Who wants to sit down to a wet table? And PLEASE PLEASE TRAIN your employees in the basics of customer service - all I ever get in response to my "Thank You" when paying for my food is "Yup". YOU should be thanking ME for giving you my business! Don't neglect the fact that there's a Starbucks across the parking lot...

Great family breakfast place ... Delicious ! We loved Asiago bagels double toasted with Jalapeño smear.... Spicy ! The egg on the bagels is average... Taste not really fresh (microwaved ?) My six year old son liked cinnamon bagels popper. Their service is good when you dine-in but the drive through could be long (too long for drive through service).

What has happened to Einstein's?? I used to love it so much. My favorite bagels ever. But now this place gets one or zero stars in basically every category. And it's not just this location, the entire company seems to have lowered its standards to basically nothing. The employees are practically all surly teenagers with bad hygiene and a bad attitude. Their uniforms are dirty and their pants are falling down. Thy don't wipe down their counter so your bagel can have onion, garlic, cinnamon sugar and cream cheese on it at the same time. The bag they give you your bagel in is almost ALWAYS covered in cream cheese so get ready to have a huge mess. Heaven forbid they wipe the gobs of cream cheese off their gloves (or bare hands) before handling your bag. The presentation is so terrible. The cinnamon sugar bagel is one of the most loved flavors they have. Well the one I got today was shaped like a giant ball with no hole in the center and the inside was nowhere near the texture a bagel is supposed to be. It was airy and had risen too much before being baked, and then was over baked on the outside and tasted almost burnt. The cinnamon sugar coating covered *almost* half of the top of the bagel. And there was a baseball-sized glob of cream cheese plopped right in the center and not spread at all. All in alI, I've never had a worse bagel in my life. I just can't believe where Einstein's has gone in the past 5-10 years. So so disappointing.

I'm giving this place one star because I like the food. The customer service makes the entire experience so frustrating. I have been here many times and have never had good service. Sometimes really bad service. Today was the last straw. They were down right rude. The manager is worse than the clueless, sloppy employees. She is always yelling at the employees, she looks like she is on the verge of breaking down ALWAYS, she seems to hate everyone basically. I have no idea why anyone would make her manager. Stay away from this place!!!

I love Einsteins bagels. The food is delicious. However, this location has the WORST customer service. Every time I go there, the employees are shockingly clueless and almost as unhelpful as the manager. I've given them so many chances to prove me wrong and provide better customer service, but I am done giving them my business.

Beyond slow. I was there right at 6AM with one customer ahead of me, and it still took 15 minutes for an egg sandwich and latte. If you haven't trained your staff in how to make the new seasonal latte, don't put up signage for it. Or at least apologize for the extra ten minutes it takes to figure it out. "Have a good day" doesn't cut it.

While their actual speed in getting food to table was impressive, what was not impressive was their service which according to me was poor as we had to wait over 5 minutes to be attended to and another couple of minutes to be billed in spite of us being one of only 2 customers in line. They had only one person attending the counter and despite having other people like 4 of them did not attend to us for a while and it is due to this reason I give them only 2 stars despite their bagels being good and tasty

Easily the slowest place on earth. The fact that I waited 10 minutes then had to ask about my sandwich only to see they hadn't even started toasting the bagel is pretty bad. I have been to other Einsteins and they were faster. This location has always been slow..I think the owner should consider talking to the management about the training process. Not sure about the cleanliness. The baked goods and cookies had flies in the case all over them. Not impressed by this location but do love other Einsteins.

Einstein's bagels has always been one of my favorite go to places for morning meetings, sandwiches, and breakfast. Unfortunately, at this location in Draper, some of the staff working there look like they are homeless, or have just come from a recovery shelter (girl who took my order clearly had a cold, the guy who filled my order was wearing dirty ratty clothes, unshaven, and looked like he hadn't showered for a few days). No judgment about that, it just feels uncomfortable having my food prepared by someone who looks like they might have hepatitis B. This has been my experience there the last 3-4 times I have been in. I went there again today, and that will be my last time. Clearly the hiring standard and personal cleanliness guidelines have become unimportant for Einstein's staff.

I really like the bagels here. Service through drive through was not too slow today. The presentation is lacking. I was sad to get my Nova Lox handed over in a greasy box. I really think they ought to give you something to contain the box if it's so messy. The cream cheese appeared to be mostly clumped in a pile on the untoasted bagel, not reaching the edges, like a pizza. I wished I would have thought to ask to have the bagel toasted. There was possibly 1/4 cup of capers on each side. I LOVE capers, but not that much. Salmon was fine, but again, clumped in the middle. This might work better if they kept the toppings on the side so I could assemble it myself. When I got to my destination to eat it, about 10 min. away, parts of the bagle were soggy and salty from the capers and caper juice.

We had a couple of coupons for a free lunch from a 5K goodie-bag way back when, so with the 12/31 expiration date looming it was off to Draper for an Einstein lunch. I'm actually a fan of their bagels. Lots of varieties to choose from and they're perfectly chewy and all together lovely. Add a schpread and you've got a little bit of boiled and baked badaciousness in your boca. As a lunch place, there's still plenty to be desired. I got a turkey sandwich on Asiago bagel, and truthfully, I got nothing bad to say about it. Plenty of meat, a nice cream cheese and herb spread, sprouts, tomater. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. And the potato salad that came along with it was a bit too creamy, but definitely delicious. So props on that. Where they lost points was on the hot sandwich my wife ordered. Served on a fakey panini bread with a pressed chicken cutlet. Straight out of the microwave, just long enough for the bread to be soggy and hot and the chicken thing to be a few degrees below room temperature. Really disappointing, because this place is clearly head and shoulders above most of the other chain options for a decent lunch. In the end, I'd definitely go back. But avoid the hot stuff and stick with what Einstein does best--good bagels and simple sandwiches.

Even though the food is good, service not so good. I have been here a few times thinking the wait time was a fluke. But unfortunately not. The wait is a long, longer than other Einsteins that I have visited. If you are not in a hurry this place is alright.
