**This location is not food allergy friendly** Dining out with a food allergy is difficult. It requires a lot of planning ahead, reading menus online, and trying to figure out what is safe from cross contamination. I did all these things BEFORE we came here. I also called their customer service and asked a few additional questions about actual ingredients of items. I was told that items can vary by location and it would be best to talk to the manager regarding actual ingredients and prep of certain foods. All I wanted to order was a side of French fries for my son. I asked the waiter what type of oil the fries are cooked in and what the ingredients are in the fries. He sent over the manager and I spoke with him. He told me that the fries are cooked in soy oil (which is safe for my son) and he said the fries have nothing in them. I asked him if the ingredients are listed anywhere because I doubt that the fries are cut in house from fresh potatoes. He said they are just potatoes nothing else. Now I know this was not the case since if they came in a box or bag they would have to have some type of preservatives also. He did not offer to get me more information or anything just kept saying they have nothing on them. (He did not speak English very well) To me this is completely unacceptable especially from the manager. Food allergies are serious and can be deadly. I'm not going to just take someone's word for it and risk my son's safety because someone is too lazy to go in the back and look at a box of French fries. I have been to restaurants where employees have brought out boxes and bags of items so I can read the ingredient lists myself. Usually chain restaurants have better training and awareness on this topic so I would have to say this location needs major help! PLEASE LEARN WHAT IS IN THE FOOD YOU ARE SELLING!

Service was terrible. Food is just okay. i've even tried giving them second chances only to be disappointed. The last time I went we sat down waited for five minutes and walked out. No thanks. I'm not sure one star is even deserved.

The staff here was oblivious....rating the food 1-5 I would give it a 3. The waitress we had, walked by multiple time and didn't ask how our meal was.....she brought my husband multiple refills, but never brought me a refill....forgot one of the meals at the table next to us.....very bad customer service, the waitress just didn't seem to care about us and our needs, it seemed like she just wanted to chat with her co workers the whole time rather than work. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I don't know why so many people complained about this Applebee's it's not bad at all. But maybe we just got lucky today, The food was great, our server Kurt was awesome the Bacardi tropical red margarita thing was good all in all it was a great time

Corporate restaurants are places where you go when you really want good old fashioned mediocrity. Achieving greatness at delivering on mid-level expectations can be an art unto itself, rarely seen outside a Cheesecake Factory or an episode of House. But I was really pleasantly surprised by my recent experience at the Draper Applebee's. Their brisket nachos were an inspired concoction of crispy-junky goodness. There were some expected mistakes made by a slow kitchen, but our pro server glossed over the glitches by bringing us SURPRISE drinks, an inspired move. So my rating here has to be taken in consideration to the fact that I entered with low expectations--a bar set by other chain restaurants--I'm looking at you TGI Fridays. I may come into this restaurant another time and eat something different and have a different server and have a different experience. But tonight Applebee's rose to the occasion. Good job!

The service at t his location is atrocious. I was alone and after being seated for 10 minutes, I finally asked for water. Once the server finally made an appearance he seemed annoyed I had asked for service. So, once he delivered the food, I never saw him again and had to ask for the ticket-from another server! "See you again?" Sorry, no.

I come here often, but tonight was so disappointing I had to leave a comment. Baby back ribs were so burnt they covered it with sauce. Chips were chewy. Not one good thing to say about the food. Our waitress Marsha was great to work with and helpful. We were later told two managers were in the back cooking. Not sure why they would let such poor food leave their kitchen. Anyhow, they comp'd our food and gave us a voucher to come back. Hopefully next time the food will be better. This has been the worse Applebee's experience I've ever had and love this place. Hoping next time is much better.

Service was ok. Ordered bourbon steak that was not a favorite. I think of you love onions you will be OK boot that is what you get onions and a steak. Onions were also under cooked and the sauce was not a fav. The oriental chicken salad is always a good option for me so this was good. All in all its just a change and not to bad for dinner.

Came in tonight with the girlfriend before a movie. We had a good hour to eat so we thought we would be okay. After walking in, being seated by the hostess (who was nice) we sat for 15 minutes without seeing the waiter or getting our drinks. So we left. When there's only five or so other customers in the restaurant, and the wait staff is already in the weeds, it's not a good sign. I will not return to this location.

I got food poisoned here. The food was heavily seasoned, and overpriced for the quality. Take your chances but I will never be back again.

Wow, where do I even start? We arrived and fewer seated quickly. While walking to our seats it was obvious that this was a busier than average night. As we were looking over the menu we couldn't help but hear the large party next to us complaining about how three of their dishes were not correct. This does happen though, so we did not pay much attention to that. So we proceeded to order, and wait for our food. We got an appetizer and when it arrived they did not give us plates to share with. Not a big deal though. We ate our appetizer and then waited over 30 minutes to receive our food. When our main courses eventually did come out, two of them were wrong. Our server was frantically running back and forth trying to cover her tables, so we just ate what we received. The quality was not too bad, but not too great. After dropping off our food our waitress did not check back until she dropped off our check, leaving our glasses empty and our problems unaddressed. I had a pretty subpar experience here, and I doubt I will be coming back.

This was the first and last time we go to this dump. Service is slow and the food is horrible. The steak I ordered was nothing as it appeared on the menu and it was too salty. The kids meal is even worse. They slap a dry and burnt patty between two dry buns and call it a mini hamburger. Even the fries were stale. Save your money not to mention your appetite.
(1)Lance W.
When I eat at a Restaurant like Applebee's I don't expect 5 star service but this experience was Exceptionally poor. Beside our server (who was really good) I had to send my food back 2 times. When my steak finally came out it was burnt to a crisp and still a little raw. Aside from that my sister and I over heard an employee yelling "just f'ing fire me" in the kitchen. Then the manager pulled the employee to a cash register which was right behind us and discussed her problem. Not only was it very unprofessional it made my sister and I extremely uncomfortable. This was by far the worst Experience I've ever had eating out at a restaurant.

As a resident of Salt Lake City proper I do not make it to the far south end of the valley very often. I found this Applebee's last night while searching for a place to grab dinner with my brother who lives in the area. I do not see this brother often so it was somewhat of an exciting occasion. We were immediately made to feel unwelcome by the hostess who also turned out to be our waitress. She sat the two of us at a gigantic booth even though the restaurant was practically empty at 7 pm. Immediately after being seated we were asked what we wanted to drink. Having not even opened the menu no, I didn't have a drink order ready so I ordered water. I ordered a beer the next time I saw her after saying no, I am not yet ready to order food. Because it is Utah my ID had to be verified by her, her manager, and the ID scanning machine. No big deal, beer was brought and food orders placed. About 10 minutes after ordering my conversation was rudely interrupted by the waitress who came to tell me to stop using curse words while talking. I stared incredulously at her as I was having a private, adult conversation and yes, I do use curse words in my everyday language. Apparently another customer had been offended. I was in no way trying to offend anyone and was perfectly fine with being more mindful of my language until a male employee, presumably a manager, walked over to my table, leaned close to my face, and threatened me stating "if you're gonna talk that way, take it somewhere else." Now I was offended. My catch up with my brother had been rudely cut short, meal was ruined and I did not even feel like touching the terrible Applebees food that I had already ordered. Apparently down in Mo Mo country I can't speak like an adult at what commercials would have you believe is a fun, loud, sports bar environment. Point taken, I do not plan to visit this or any other establishment in that part of town any time soon.
(1)Carolyn N.
It's not like any Applebee's I have ever gone to. When we first walked in we stood at the hostess area for about 5 minutes, no one said hello no said how I can we help you. The out of no where this lady In a red shirt comes up asks his many we have then asked if we want a booth or a table. She sits is at our HUGE booth our waiter comes gets our drink. We get our drinks then 15 minuets later we get our appetizer. Keep in mind we showed up at 7 we didn't get out of the restaurant until 8:30. It took FOREVER to get out actuall meal. I won't go there again.
(2)Clint M.
Food, service and atmosphere were great. Only observation...the sizzling apple pie wasn't actually sizzling.
(3)Natalie D.
I don't expect fine dining at a place like this but I expect lettuce that is edible. Besides being nothing but the center of the leaves with the chunky hollow bit, they were brown and some were so soft & wilted that parts had spots that had gone black. If I had been dining in, it would have been immediately returned but unfortunately for me we did take out. I could have gotten a fresher salad at half the price at Chick-fil-a, which is what I'll do next time. Lack of care or quality has put this place on our do not eat list.
