It's different ..... It's good .... Burgers are juicy

Wow! We are visiting family and found this small business that is extremely well ran. The staff was more than helpful even when a small miscommunication occured. They have some of the most tender patties that I've ever tried. The extra topping choices are fun and interesting but they do not make the burger. The quality of beef and excellent technique make it a great meal. Oh, and try the french fries!!!

Best burger I have had in Utah thus far. Moved here from California almost a year ago and these are amazing! The onion rings are so good too. Everything tasted home made.
(5)Becky C.
Quite frankly, they have the best burgers I have ever had in Utah. The burger is juicy, the toppings fresh. The price was too high for regular visits, over $10 per person. But the quality is worth the price.

This was recommended by several people and it was pretty good. I think it was over hyped a bit but I did like it ok. The location is in Clinton and a bit out of the way if you are not close to by. It is a bit off the freeway so I would never come here for a quick stop. When you walk in you are routed to the left to order from the order window, it is not a place you sit down and order off the menu...you order from the window then go sit yourself. This did not bother me because it seems a lot of places do that now. I ordered the big tony with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, and mayo which were all free. I added swiss and bacon for an upcharge for each. I also added the combo of fries and a drink which cost me just over 12 bucks for everything. Kind of pricey for this type of restaurant, in my opinion. The burger was good and greasy, as it should be and the flavor was really good. I took a chunk of burger off to try just on its own and it is good meat. The bun was really good. Bacon was the thick kind. Great lettuce and tomatoes. The fries were gleaming with oil and I thought they were just ok, fresh but quite greasy, I'd probably try something else besides fries next time or skip them. I still have a greasy taste in my mouth after 2 hours from being there, from the fries. I saw the hype on the hickory fry sauce but I did not like it as much as the regular fry sauce. Would I try it again? I probably would of I'm in the area by myself or with my wife but I'm not going out of my way to come here. I also think it would be too much for my family to eat here. I'd definitely go back for the burger and my colleagues loved the shakes so maybe next time I'll try one of those. I want to give this place 3.5 stars but I can't quite give it 4 so they get a final grade of 3. I think a good comparison is 5 guys. They are different but I think they are very similar.

Expensive for what you get.... Added onion straws and got about 10 cents worth for a buck. Employee didn't listen when I said I wanted my receipt. Very frustrating experience.

Burgers: Very VERY VERYYYYYYY Good. Burgers. One of the best i've ever had. The thing that would make it even butter is if you could ask how you want your burger cooked. Fries: Look like crap, but area really really good as well. They give you a fare amount of it too! Shakes: Probably one of the best shakes I've had in life. LOL Just remember to add malt. PS: Don't forget they give military discounts!

I rate this based on the type of restaurant it is. This is not a 5 start donning experience. It does have incredible hamburgers. The beef is amazing. I did not like the Hickory sauce I tried the first time I ate here. It was too strong and overpowered the flavor of the burger. The Tony sauce was much better in my opinion. The fries are good. Not typical fries but I like them. The shakes are amazing. A nice thick shake. The service is order at the counter and have it brought out to you. The service has always been good, even during a busy lunch rush. Quick update and tip: The hamburger is an excellent blend, while cheese on these burgers is fine, I think that you can better appreciate the flavor of the meat without cheese on the burger.

Best burger in the area! Delicious meat blend and fresh toppings. Double-fried French fries are pretty good...and they become addicting when dunked in Tonyburgers fry sauce! The menu is fairly limited (mostly only burgers and salads), but if you're in the mood for a good burger and fries, this is your spot.
(5)Will P.
Burger itself was excellent. Bun was disappointing and fell apart too easily. Fries were meh and a little undercooked for my taste.
(4)Jake S.
Absolutely great burger! I have eaten here numerous times and the burgers are always amazing. I love adding the fried egg to my burger...so good. I would give them 5 stars but the fries and onion rings leave a bit to be desired; I would say under cooked for my taste. My suggestion is skip the side and get a double burger to fill up instead. I will definitely continue eating here...oh and did I mention their burgers are AMAZING!
(4)Jonathan K.
Best burgers I had for awhile and there fries are so good would get five star but services wasn't all that great only one girl was doing every thing while the other was on her phone
(4)Tyler H.
Great food! Easy location! Love it! Plus for my military friends.. They have 20% discount. :-) Get your shopping done in the area and on your way out stop over at Tony Burgers! Locally owned and operated.

Updated review as I no longer abstain from eating meat. I love their burgers. Very soft, from the bread to the burger. Your teeth don't have to fight to chomp down on the beef. The bread, the bread. Thin and soft. So many establishments fuck up the bread on hamburgers. The fries don't even need condiments because they're very thin, perfectly crisp, and salted just enough. As for the hard ice cream shakes, my favorite (as in the only one I've tried so far and want) is the Cookies 'n Creme shake. It's made with real Oreos!
(4)Sean W.
One of the best burger joints in the Salt lake valley. The salads are great too if you want something on the light side. Their milkshakes are on expensive side but taste wonderful. I suggest the raspberry shake during the summer and the peppermint shake during the winter. Five star burger joint...it is not a five star restaurant just so readers know.
(5)Chris M.
If you're looking for a great burger joint, you've just found it. There's nothing fancy about Tony Burgers and that's just fine. This is a no nonsense burger joint with great food. Aside from the great burgers, I don't know what voodoo magic they're doing with the fries here but I seriously cannot stop eating them. Mix them with the hickory fry sauce and you'll see what I mean. If you go here often, and let's face it you will be once you taste the food, make sure to get a reward card cause the rewards are pretty great (10% off every meal and free size upgrade for a platinum card and a free combo meal with shake for every full platinum!). Speaking of shakes, these things are delicious, hand made with real ice cream. They have seasonal shakes that your happy to see come and sad to see go, haven't been disappointed with one yet. The Oreo shake is my favorite non-seasonal one and they don't skip on size or oreos. Well worth a visit and hands down the best local burger joint I've been to so far. The only complaint I have about this place is the food can be a little inconsistent with the night crew at the Clinton location (step your night game up guys).
(5)Daynette W.
The burgers are delicious, and super fresh. I love that you can add whatever you want, and you know you're not eating garbage. I love their fries, and so do my boys. I am thankful they're close and I feel like we're eating something decent and not processed crap. Their employees are super nice, and I love their text message deals! Their pumpkin milk shake is amazing. I wish they had it year around!
(5)Stephanie P.
Been here when they first opened only went about four or five times but the times I went were pretty good. Love their shakes especially!
(3)Shane T.
Amazing food!!!!!! Best burger in the area! Their beef is top notch cuts, and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The one down side is that it is a bit pricey, more of a table service price than counter service, but the quality of the good is worth the price. Their fries are great, and I recommend the hickory fry sauce for a nice change.
(5)T B.
Went there for lunch. It was delicious and not too long of a waiting time. Very similar to Smashburger. Definitely better than Five Guys IMHO. Good choice for a good burger.
(4)Bryanna G.
Good food! Thin, shoelace fries and burgers made with sirloin, chuck, and brisket. Your food is made to order and comes out fast. There's even a movie trivia poster to read in the bathrooms if you're so inclined. Join the text club for a good offer once a week. I'll definitely be back.
(5)Alec T.
This place is awesome. 3 locations to serve you better!
(5)Jack F.
Awesome, in a world of mediocrity they go above and beyond. Bacon inside the burger, top notch shakes, all around great.
(5)Steven B.
If I really like a place it gets five starts and I know most people don't give that kind of rating but why not? Well this place has some pretty magical toppings to throw on the burger and they have a burger that has bacon bits mixed in the beef...I am drooling just thinking of it. And to cure all of that greasy melt in your mouth burger taste that comes with it, get a side of frys and one of their disgustingly good milkshakes to wash it all down.
(5)Jil P.
My favorite burgers ever! Love the fresh cut fries as well. Great toppings and homemade sauces. The shakes are thick and delicious. My only complaint would be that they are a bit pricey. Since my family doesn't eat out often....Tonyburgers are a worthy splurge.
(4)July M.
My husband and I were so impressed! Excellent service, and great patty. I am not a big fan of burgers, but I went there because my husband wanted to go. A little pricy for a burger, but you get more than you paid for!
(4)Leslie K.
Love Tony Burgers. I love being able to specify exactly what I want on my burger and it come out that way every time. Also great fry sauce, love that you can ask for spinach on your burger and the shakes are fantastically delicious, especially the raspberry one they have in the fall.
(4)Sal S.
Burger was OK . But the fries were cold limp and greasy . Not good . Way over priced .
(2)Marcia S.
Horrible! Don't waste your time or money. We waited 15 minutes for our 3 combo meals. When they arrived the burgers were burned to a crisp and the fries were limp, greasy, and looked like they had been fried in old oil. All to the tune of $25! Over cooked, over priced, over it! Never again!!! Go to 5 Guys instead!
(1)Nick A.
The only thing that was good was the hamburger bun. It was soft and fresh. Burger and fries were over cooked. Way too much $. I blame myself for this horrible meal, it should have been a clue that no one was here on a Saturday night. Don't waste your money.
(1)Larry C.
Burgers were good, fries cold and oily. Overall, ok but way over priced.
(3)Tommy H.
They have a wall of names of people who eat for free. I brought in a drivers license and passport which proved my name is on that wall. I didn't eat for free. I call false advertisement and I give only two stars until I get reimbursed.
(2)Raymond H.
Very good burgers and fries. Similar to Five Guys. Beef was fresh and flavorful. Fries were plentiful and good if you like greasy. (Which I do.). Burgers are all custom topped by picking vegs., cheeses, sauces, and bonus toppings i.e. bacon, onions, etc.. Heard good things about shakes. Very large salad menu and salad options.
(5)Craig R.
First let me say excellent meat, fresh toppings, and I'm from Los Angeles and this would definetly fly out there. Loved it
(4)Chris C.
Great burger place. Love the option to add specific, unique toppings, coupled with the fact they have a drive through.
(5)Pat C.
Got the raspberry shake! Awesome. Burger was great... Love the beef flavor. Fries are thin and crispy... Glad to have in Clinton!
(5)Brandon T.
Were looking for somewhere to eat and kids were out-voted by Mom who wanted a hamburger. By the time we had our food and took first bites, kids were saying how we had to come back already. Great food!
(5)Ryan W.
Yeah I don't even care about the fries or the salads. Go for the burgers!!! Amazingly fresh and juicy with any topping you could imagine! My kids also love the fresh shakes.
(5)Stacey L.
I ate here for the first time. The burgers are awesome. Made fresh. Fries are great and freshly made. It will be a regular place for me.
(5)Jessi H.
I love their burgers, but for the price the thickness of the burger is extremely underwhelming and they try to distract you with veggies piled high. The sauces, fries, shakes, and everything is really good. I love going here but three adults for burgers and fries shouldn't cost in excess of $30, I paid less at Red Robin and get waited on too. Great food, but I can only afford it around once a year.

First of all, you should know everything with "Tony" in it is awesome, right? This place was just that awesome. I have been hearing about this place on and off from ads and various local broadcasts, so I finally made it here one day for lunch with a fellow coworker. The place was about the size of most fast food restaurants, and you order at the counter, then they bring you the food. For the burgers, it was basically a Small Tony or Big Tony, and you can double the patties as well. There are other things you can add for extra, I added a fried egg because that should enhance the burger and it was the Asian thing to do. My white coworker was a bit surprise by this though. The burger turned out quite juicy and delicious. Not sure why others are complaining about them and how they snapped those weird pictures, maybe before they change their practices? From what I heard, the local chain was pretty bad at one point, and then decided revised many of the ways they conduct business, including the ingredient and cooking. Probably a good idea to visit them again if you have not been here since they first opened. Too bad you do not get freebies or perks if your name is Tony. Maybe they should do a "National Tony Day" like the National David Day made by Famous Dave.
(4)Ken P.
First visit to Tony's but not the last! Great burger and fries. Very clean and good wait staff
(5)Shalla R.
Great burgers and their salads are good too. We stopped here after a visit to salt lake. The kid burgers are right aize for children and fries are good too. Did not disappoint and lived up to its best burger name. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facikity is clean and bathrooms are very nice too.
(5)Codizzle F.
Great burgers, fresh, fries are tasty! Fast service. Not the best but compares to some of the good ones. Burger needs salt. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE !
(4)Joyce S.
Best burger I have had; I've always been a fan of In-and-Out. I've been spoiled by gourmet burger places like Umami in Santa Monica and Father's Office in Culver City. The burger party is amazingly tasty and not too heavy. I loved the jalapeños with Swiss and grilled onions. Simply delightful!
(5)Stephanie S.
Went here for lunch. Had a small tony burger and fries. Both were very good. The only bad thing is that they charge you extra for things like cheese and bacon. Their shakes are 4 to 5 dollars, which is ridiculous.
