Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

I am here to recommend this place. This restaurant has become my favorite! I've come here multiple times and have ordered almost all that are on the menu and each one has been a satisfaction. The fries are cooked fresh. They are to die for. I honestly can only say they are the best I've ever had. Greek burger is thick and full of the yummy stuff. Salad dressing is addicting and the kebobs are juicy and tasty. Not forgetting the gyro, you will want to come back for it. Service is fast for a non fast food restaurant. Crew is friendly and The place is clean and quite. And the best part is, everything is under $10! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

The food was not impressive. The rice and potatoes were hard and improperly/under cooked. The shish kebobs were so small and left us feeling hungry still. Very disappointed! The salad was the only thing that was decent.

Excellent food, and service. I have been eating Gyros since I can remember, never have I had the chunk meat they use, bonus they were normal sized not giant things I can never eat! Sat and talked with the owner casually and personally, what a man! I have a new favorite spot!

Cute little cafe with great quality food! I had never had a gyro before coming here and now I'm not sure I'll go to another Northern Utah location to get one! The food is all made fresh to order and is incredibly tasteful. Great pricing and service. It's not fast food, but the taste is worth the small wait!

Really yummy fresh nice size portions - fries were good. The rice was good with nice flavor. Loved the chicken and hubby liked the lamb

Great gyro and their Greek salad is very yummy! I'm not sure how the more authentic Greek dishes are but plan to try them. When I went for lunch they hadn't even fired up the grill before I came in, it seems, so it took awhile for my food but I was more than happy with my gyro and Greek salad.

For my craving of greek food, deff hit the spot! They said they have different daily specials as well which is awesome. Im always on the look out to try different things.

My husband and I were hesitant to try this place because of some of the reviews. I am a Greek food lover and I have been waiting to find that one restaurant that becomes "The Greek Place" and we have finally found it!! This place is amazing!! Yes it is very small, only about 5 tables in the whole place but it is worth the intimate table spacing. Other guests have complained that there is no soda machine, but that is a smart choice for a very small beginning business. I had the Double Kabob (1 pork, 1 chicken) both delicious $9.99. It comes with a small salad (delicious cucumber dressing), lemon butter rice and lemon potatoes. Another guest didn't think the lemon potatoes had a place but they are a very traditional Greek dish and I thought they were great. The french fries are AMAZING!! Fresh cut, fresh cooked...DELICIOUS!!! My husband had the Lamb Gyro and fries for $7.99 which was equally amazing!! Give this place a try and keep an open mind. They are very small and the menu isn't huge but the food is amazing!! Also in regard to pricing, $10 and under a person is not unreasonable...Greek food is ALWAYS expensive...so plan on spending more than you would at a fast food joint...but for fresh, non preserved, delicious food...it's worth spending a little more!!

So with some apprehension, due to poor reviews, we headed over to the Bountiful Greek Cafe. Other reviews have noted the size of the dining area. The size is sufficient enough, if you want small go to New York and you will see small dining areas for fast casual cuisine. The selections are minimal, probably 10-15 choices total but sometimes less is more. We waited for a while for our food but I will say once it arrived I was very pleased. I ordered the chicken gyro and my wife had the soup. We both left satisfied and we will return. The prices were a bit on the high side, but not outrageous. Next time we are going to share one of the larger plates. Give it a try - if you like Greek food I will bet you will be satisfied.

Been watching as this new Greek Café prepped to open, we were a bit excited with the anticipation as we enjoy Greek food. Sadly our visit was very un-enjoyable. You enter and first notice that 3 people could reach both walls if you stood with stretched out hands. Next you will notice the floor, stained wafer board which also matched the ordering counter. The next décor to stand out was the cooler which has the old restaurant's name showing though in reverse as it has been turned inside out. The final eye catcher is 8 tables. The menu: there were 2 salads, a Gyro plate, a Burger, and one Kabob or two Kabob platters. that was it, although one of the other tables had some other meal which was not on the menu. I guess they were "inner circle" guests. We ordered Gyros, one with fries and the other two with salads. the choices for Drinks were caned sodas and Kirkland bottled water. we only wanted glasses of water but were told we had to purchase the bottled water. From here our experience went down hill. our order's arrived with 2 fries and 1 salad. all served on foam plates, we then had to request utensils and were brought a napkin and plastic fork. The Gyro's were tasty, the fries undercooked and glistening with oil. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a few veggies and a house dressing I guess the owner sensed our experience was less than good, he brought us out some sort of filled flatbread to sample. as he was describing this treat, he kept touching it with his index finger as he mentioned each ingredient. Yum. hopefully you will heed my warning, but if you do visit the place. I hope your experience is more pleasant than ours.

Under impressed, overpriced, and did not meet expectations. Won't be going back. Hopefully your experience is better than ours, but cannot recommend. Don't think business will be open for long...

So exited to have this Greek restaurant in Bountiful!! Very tasty seasoned food. We had the chicken and pork kabob they both were very juicy and cooked to perfection. My friend had the Greek burger, we were told by the friendly owner this was made of 3 types of meat marinated with the red wine. So I had a bite of her burger and to our surprise this was like no other burger we have tasted. It was so juicy with a kick. This is a 5 star place! It's very delitefully tasty. I truly recommend this place.

Double Cabob platter and Greek Burger with 2 cans soda $21. Greek Burger is mix of beef, lamb & pork with feta and a red wine sauce. The burger is a stellar entrée and the best item on the menu. The flavors are bold without being over powering and portions are on the generous side of average. Shrimp and lamb cabobs were cooked and seaaoned well. Lemon rice was tasty, but the baked potato side was quite heavy, and didnt blend with the other textures on plate. The french fries on the other hand were excellent. Simple prep and seasong made an excellent side to the burger. The rice chicken soup utilized the same seasoning as the rice side (that was part of my cabob combo) to great effect. Again, the flavors were not bland in this creamy soup. The biggest failing was the drink options. 12oz cans of soda. There was a decent variety and anytime my favorite flavor (Diet Dr. Pepper) is available I'm happy for that. But with bolder flavors and larger portions, I really needed more liquid with my meal.

Best Greek around! Love everything on the menu! Highly recommend giving it a try! Food seems fresh and is always good.

With slight apprehension, my husband and I tried this new Greek spot in Bountiful. My first impressions were not the best. It's very small, seating about 20 people. It feels gloomy and dingy. The lack if a soda fountain with canned soda instead is always a red flag. The menu is very small, but has what you want from a Greek restaurant. I ordered a lamb gyro plate (there is the option of chicken instead of lamb) and my husband ordered the 2 kabob plate, lamb and chicken. There were a couple other patrons waiting for their to-go orders, so we waited about 10 minutes for our food. A pain when you have three small kids, but it's nice to have your food made fresh to order. I can put up with dingy restaurant interiors when food tastes this good. My gyro was awesome. The fries were homemade. Bonus! My husbands kabobs were both delicious. The chicken in particular has an awesome seasoning on it. My husband's plate came with lemon rice, and some kind of potato dish, both were excellent. I didn't care for the salad that was on both of our plates. Standard iceberg lettuce, and a few veggies. I didn't like the salad dressing but my husband loved it. We will definitely go again. I want to try the burger. I hope they get a soda fountain, and I hope they do well. The location seems doomed to failure as nothing survives long. I hope this isn't the case for Bountiful Greek Cafe. Edited to add: I went back last week and they have a soda fountain! And great prices on daily specials!

I tried the lamb gyro plate with lemon rice and salad. I found it all very flavorful and fresh. I thought that the dressing for the salad was especially nice. I think that the price was a bit high for the amount of food that I received, but I do look forward to coming back to try the kabobs.

The gyro meat was ok but the white sauce was not. Portion size was not worth the cost and the service was pretty bad. I would not recommend this place.
