Freindly staff, great atmosphere, and awesome food! I had the patty melt and onion rings. I couldn't decide which to save as the best for last bite! Everyone in our party of eight loved the food. Definately would recommend.

Amazing omelette called the Lee R with olives, mushrooms, ham, jalapeños, cheese and salsa. Got a side of homemade sourdough toast and potatoes too. Wife ate the entire plate of cinnamon roll French toast. Said it was the best she ever had. We stopped in on a drive from St. George to SLC and won't hesitate to do it again. Very friendly staff too.

If they have the strawberry shortcake in season it is not to be missed and not to be shared. Best I've ever had. The burgers and homemade chips are awesome also.

Great home cooked food, wonderful service. Will definitely be back on our next journey through Utah!

This place is a gem out in the middle of no where. The portions are very generous. The cheeseburger patti looks like a pancake. The strawberry shortcake is cake strawberries built around a scoop of ice cream

Stopped here on our way across country and were pleasantly surprised. Sit at the bar and chat up the waitresses who are all fantastic. The hamburgers and bread are all made in house, and should be your first stop on the menu. It's close enough to the interstate to avoid the chains, and very inexpensive.

I liked this place. We are traveling across county and wanted to stop someplace that was normal, not a chain. This is definitely that. We wanted eggs - they had great omelets - I had the Denver and my husband had the Spanish. Both great. Sourdough bread toast which was very tasty, good thick bread. Totally tons of peppers, ham and onions in my omelet, husbands was so good he ate the whole thing. The service was great and the people were friendly. I do not think we will be back this way but if we are, we will go to this restaurant again.

Clean inside. Great breakfast and service. Looks pretty poor from the outside.

Luv the bicuits and gravy, one of the best I've ever had. I travel across the country and have found very few places that have a good bicuits & gravy but this place is one of the top. A must have if you stop by.

Super friendly. We happened to stop here on our way to Vegas and we were so thrilled. It was the best breakfast food we've had our entire 2 week trip. It was better than the breakfasts we had at The Four Seasons. Excellent French Toast, corned beef hash, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, ham steak.....and that's just what we had!

Not my favorite place...but I got a full belly :)

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. If you want to try something a little different go for the cinnamon roll french toast. It is a cinnamon roll smashed and cooked like french toast. It was pretty tasty. I also got the biscuit and gravy and would suggest skipping them. The gravy was yellow and had more of a jelly texture. One thing thing they did tell me is they make all their own bread and buns as well as their sausage. Other than that it is just your typical small town dinner.

Traveling from northern to southern Utah we needed a break from driving through a snowstorm, and some food. When we walked in the door we were greeted with "we saw you outside, your table is all ready." The service here was so good! The ambience was pleasant also, with tons of framed black and white photos from Beaver's early days. And the food...it's classic heavy diner food, we stuck with breakfast as it was still early and the waitress made some recommendations. I ordered something called "The Hussle" which involved English Muffins, eggs, ham, and 'zesty cheese sauce;' it came with potatoes and it was damn good. Apparently the chef makes his own sausage and it was really tasty too. It kept us warm for the next three hours of our trip! Someone else's review was complaining about the coffee but I thought it was just fine. This is my new midpoint stop when driving from Provo to St. George. I liked it so much I bought an El Bambi shirt.

Stopped here with family while on a road trip, table for 6 just before closing, they could've been unkind and pushy. Just the opposite, extremely friendly and talkative. The food was amazing; we had club sandwiches, burgers, salads, sweet potato fries- and the necessary fry sauce that Utah specializes in! Everything was great and prices were good.

Great little diner just about a minute off the freeway. My family decided not to eat fast food while on our last trip so we stopped into this café and was pleasantly surprised. The kids ate all of their meals and my wife and I enjoyed ours (club sandwiches). It isn't the best food but it was very good and with the hometown atmosphere it was great. Be aware though they close at 2pm. Thanks for the great experience.

Considering the limited selection in Bryce during the winter time, decided to stop in Beaver for lunch on the way back to SLC after a nice hiking weekend. Something about this place beckoned, and we were soon seated in a booth at a quintessential American diner. Worn seats, black and white photos, and a friendly atmosphere welcomed the weary hikers. The special mushroom swiss burger with onion rings hit the spot. Really appreciated overhearing some of the other tables' conversations, as everyone know the wait staff, and the wait staff knew everyone.

Ugh. We should have gotten pizza instead. Great service but terrible pasta special. The burgers at the other table looked pretty good though. Wouldn't try this place again. Sorry.

The Classic/Original American Diner. While traveling across country my husband decided to eat only club sandwiches. From Costa Mesa to Michigan he decided The El Bambi had the best club. My favorite part of The El Bambi experience was the music. It will become our family stop each time we travel through Utah :)

The scrambled eggs were ok, the biscuit rubbery, the salsa slimy, the potatoes overcooked, the sausage a huge intimidating slab. The coffee..., brown dishwater. I could not drink it. The people in the cafe were really friendly.
