Under new ownership, I was told that this place is really good and much better than the old joint. I have to say it is very good! The food was prepared hot and fast. My family raved about their dishes and we are all foodies with a taste for good stuff. 5 stars!

We don't love very many Chinese restaurants locally but this one hits the spot every time. The food is delicious, authentic and tasty. Very fresh and quick service. The NEW owners are super nice and the price is just right. Highly recommended!!!!!

Amazingly bad chinese food. So bland, so grey... it's the type of food you see being served in prison in those old movies. I asked for mustard (to add something to the meal) and was brought French's yellow mustard!!! For real! Do yourself a favor... eat anywhere else.

This china lite is now a china kitchen. Stay away. 55.00 for our food and it was nothing more than a Panda Express now. I'm so disappointed. They closed for a renovation and we walked in to see all new and it was the exact same except for the menu was new. They ruined a good thing.

I can't find sub gum chow mein anywhere except China Light. I love the combination dinners. The sweet and sour chicken or pork are so good. I love the sweet and sour sauce. The place needs a good cleaning and the bathroom needs some repairs but I can look past that. If we want Chinese food, this is where we go.

Love this place. Some of the better Chinese in utah county. On Tuesday and Thursday they have the best tomato noodle soup.

This is now a shadow of its former self, China Light cafe used to be a hidden gem in American fork. I'm assuming it is now under new management because all my favorite recipes have been altered and unrecognizable.. The quality of the food is not even sub par, the original egg rolls are gone and the lo mein is disgusting! Not worth the time or money.. Stay away!!

When I lived in Washington DC it was easy to find good Chinese food. Its been a bit harder to find the good stuff since I moved back to Utah but I really like China Light. Price is low and the portions are large. Its always been fresh and can be ordered with more heat or spice depending on how you like it. Their American food selection is pretty good also. The building could stand a remodel but I can live with it just fine with the prices how they are as the good Chinese places back east were in much worse places.

This is my go to Chinese cafe. Consistently good fried rice. Never tried anything other than the Chinese food here. But I'll drive 20 miles to go here than other places.

Decent greasy spoon Chinese. If you know what to expect and you're in the mood then it fits the bill. They do have decent Chinese hot mustard, and the "fried" rice definitely needs some for flavor.

I have tried a few things here and when if comes to their entre items, I have to say I am not a huge fan. I mainly enjoy their egg rolls. They are giant and they taste incredible. 4 stars for their egg rolls. I highly recommend them.

As long as I live, this will be my favorite place for Chinese food. I might be biased though because I went here when I was a little kid. I now live in Seattle but force someone to take me there any time I within a few hundred miles. I always get a #80 with extra egg rolls. I defy anyone to suggest somewhere has better egg rolls. They are huge, battered and deep fried to perfection. It has been the exact same food every time I have been for 15+ years. It is not a high end or foodie type of place and I can see how some people would complain. I am not a huge fan of corn in egg drop soup but I digress... For my own emotional comfort this place has to stay open!

The first review by Dan couldn't have agreed more. Bland. I wish i read the reviews before eating here. Just avoid it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
