It pains me to write this. I thought this food and these people were great until today's visit. I am a strict vegan. I asked the kitchen about a week ago if they use chicken stock while cooking their vegetables. After a bit of confusion I was told no, that there are not animal products used in their vegetables. Great. Ordered a Penang curry with vegetables today. Got it back to my office and felt pieces of chicken among the soup. What? So I called the restaurant and just tried to get some clarification. The manager could not have been less helpful. He said that they do indeed use chicken stock in their vegetables. So I asked who made the mistake? Him or his employees? To which he responded that there's actually two stocks that they have for vegetables. Now, maybe I'm wrong, but if someone orders a dish with tofu, vegetables, and specifies no meat, wouldn't that be a red flag to not include vegetables COOKED IN MEAT? I realize this review won't change many peoples minds. The food is still good but the level of inaccuracy and inconsistency within the kitchen and among its employees is the reason that I will not be back. Such a shame. It's hard to find good food on the west side.

I was so surprised that the place was so empty on a Sunday night! I'll admit, I was hesitant because I thought it was going to take a chunk out my wallet. To my surprise, all the meals were reasonably priced. When I saw the proportions I was amazed: I visit allot of Thai restaurants, and this is the most Thai I ever got for the money. Now granted, this is not the best Thai in San Antonio, but if that's what you're looking for, get your wallet out! Me and my wife ordered 2 specialty drinks and 2 large sized dinner plates of some of the of the better Thai I tasted that stuffed us to the brim. When I saw the bill was only $28, I was so relieved. The best Thai in town I only visit very occasionally, mostly because I can't afford it on a regular basis. Very practical, reasonably priced Thai restaurants as these make it my one stop eatery as a regular. For all you china buffet freaks, I highly suggest that you go for quality and not quantity. If you're worried about price, but still want good food that'll fill you up, make this your next stop and you won't regret it!

This compares to real Thai food the same way Chef Boy Ar Dee compares to eggplant parmigiana. In other words, if you are looking for well prepared and even semi authentic Thai food - go somewhere else. The green curry (my usual heat level 3) was all heat and zero flavor. I wondered if they left out the coconut milk? Why 2 stars? Friendly server who offered to replace my lunch when it was clear I was not happy. Ah well, maybe I just picked a bad day?

While the delivery was prompt and online ordering was simple, the food was awful! First off the chicken satay was luke warm at best and had no real flavor. And the sticky rice? Came in a bag and was as hard as a rock. I couldn't even eat any of it. Not worth it for the price.

Second trip today. Delicious !!!! The owner Jimmy is super friendly and hard working. If you have not tried this place, you must go. If you have not tried Thai food, you must try it. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked. For the price of a #6 at your favorite burger joint--- you can get a healthy meal here --and you will probably have left overs. Today's order was a sampler of the appetizers and an order of chicken thai fried rice.. Still on Spice level 1.

Thai It is a gem to be found, a bit hidden but once you try it you will like it! This little place is full of good food and excellent service. The menu is extensive and after chatting with the owner a few times, his impressive knowledge about the food he makes from scratch down to every sauce, is an amazing taste to have. From pan fry to bubble tea, this place has it all.

This place is OK they forgot my dessert and I found the food to be overpriced for its quality

I'm assuming this was the same owner as Thai Corner and I was sad to see it close and was excited to try their new location and was disappointed. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day for them or what because the coke machine was messed up (you couldn't tell the difference between the Dr. Pepper and diet coke). My husband liked his sesame chicken but my chicken spicy noodle sucked. The tempura veggies weren't cooked right and the noodles were under cooked and I had to spit out pieces that felt like I was chewing a piece of chicken bone. The sauce wasn't that great either. But on a positive note, the service was really good and it had a very clean environment. I might give it one more try before I give up on this restaurant.

First, let me say that Thai food is not my thing. I chose Thai it because they have a wide variety on their menu that sounded just delicious. I ordered the appetizer sampler, the lunch special of beef and broccoli and 2 coffee drinks for delivery. My order arrived super quick, and was delivered by a friendly man. My Thai coffee and coffee bubble tea made me smile because someone fashioned a rose out of the straw wrapper, adorable! I opened the sampler box and smiled even bigger! Everything was fresh, crispy, and delicious. While I was tempted to gobble it all down, I refrained because my intent was to share with my husband (darn my generous spirit!) I moved on to the broccoli and beef with cucumber salad. I chose spice level 1 as I'm not familiar with spice levels and didn't want to blow out my palate. Next time I think it'll be safe to move to level 2. The beef was tender, and the broccoli was fresh (my pet peeve is worn out veggies). My only disappointment was that there was no rice. So all the lovely sauce had nowhere to go. I have no problem ordering again... And again, since there are so many things to try! PS - I realize gas is expensive but $5 for delivery is pretty pricey in my book. With tip, this was a $42 lunch. If it hadn't been delicious, I'd have been really upset!

I spotted this place while at the meat market next door and with it being so close to home I just had to try it. My dinner date was my American food loving hubby who does NOT like trying new things and even he was impressed! He had the Pho which upon trying I forced him to share and I had a traditional Red Curry with beef. We loved being able to choose our own level of spiciness as we both really enjoy spicy food, four was our level out of six and it was spot on!( I can't imagine six) Our server was also very prompt, our drinks never went empty and she had great suggestions and a great attitude to boot. As I'm writing this my pick up order is being prepared. I needed my own Pho just a mere day later. * Just tried the garlic chicken and it did not disappoint! Yummo!

I was pleasantly surprised to see a second Thai restaurant crop up just outside the Loop. Yes please! Plenty of parking and pretty clean on the inside. I think they just opened this week or last week, so I wasn't too surprised to see it wasn't very busy, especially considering it's tucked in the back of a strip mall next to a Mexican grocer. I walked in during lunch and made a to-go order. Their lunch menu is a selection of eight or so dishes that come with a small appetizer (typical appetizer stuff like an egg roll, crab rangoon, cucumber salad, etc.). I ordered the blackened noodle fried tofu with an egg roll. A little pricey for a lunch item at almost nine bucks, but I like my Thai food. They have a heat index you can choose for the meal from 1-6, with 6 being hottest. I chose the 3 and it was a nice level of steady heat. I can't imagine what 6 would do to you, prob'ly turn you Thai if you aren't already! The food came out in ten minutes, pretty realistic. It came with a spicy sauce on the side that had some kick. The meal was average, but the tofu was chewy and half the meal had a cooking fuel taste, like propane, to it. This can be opening growing pains, so I may go back in a week or two and dine-in to see if it improves. The staff seems friendly too, worth checking out.

Omg! This used to be the former Thai Corner!! I've missed Thai Corner so much, and when I found this place I was completely ecstatic!! I LOVE THEIR PAD THAI AND EGG ROLLS! I've tried a lot of Thai in San Antonio, and this place is by far my favorite! Doesn't have a lot of business yet because they're fairly new, and the people who loved Thai Corner probably have no clue this is the same place with a different name and location! Recommend this restaurant 100%!

It is not the best Thai food in town but they deliver. First time they were really quick with the delivery the second it seemed to take forever. Maybe it was the time if day, I don't know. The curry was great, other stuff....just ok.

Thai It was a good experience! I dig the 7.95 lunch Including tea, soup, app, and entree, esp since they do it on weekends when everyone else is running dinner menu only. Food quality was close to excellent overall, but the noodle soup to start was bland and the rangoon was not cooked all the way through. The dumplings were delicious. Green curry and pad thai were both very good. Nice flavors and a good char on the ckn in the pad thai. Thai tea was delicious and presented beautifuly with a flower and whipped cream. Service was good. Only other complaint would be sticky table (the booths don't get table cloths), and they have music and tv noise at the same time. That makes for a busy environment and takes away from the pleasant atmosphere. We will surely be back!

Short and sweet: ordered this food through the grub hub website. It was delivered in half the time that they said; it was very delicious. I had the crying tiger appetizer, and also a duck dish with vegetables which was excellent.
