    Beauty is in the eye . . . I enjoy coming here. You're seated immediately and just a minute or two later your order is taken. With plenty of customizable choices, it's not long before you're dining on a hot, fresh meal. Besides, grits are available 24/7. It is what it is, a very casual DINER with friendly wait staff and the hardest working short-order cook in these parts.

    Service is extremely slow with dirty floors. Service staff told us we would have a very short wait, 30 minutes later we are still waiting. Going to Waffle House we don't expect great service, but we do expect the place to be clean. Food was good.

    The people were nice, but seemed to be tired & short staffed at 9:15 pm. 3 of us ordered all star breakfast. I ordered scattered and smothered hash browns and they weren't completely done in the middle. I liked the reason bread and bacon. We got the waffles to go so I'm not real sure how they are but they look good. This place could use a good scrubbing there was oil all over the top of my napkin holder.

    This place had a certain wow factor upon walking through the door. The smell of mold, rotten food and whatever else wax in the air was to heavy to even breathe. When I mentioned the odor I wax treated like an idiot and told it was bleach. I did not even order any food, went to IHOP instead.

    My daughter was hankering for Waffle House's jalapeno biscuits, so we went here.NEVER again will I go to this location. Becky was our server, and grant it, it was too busy for one person to work solo, but that doesn't give reason for her to hand a spoon she had just dropped on the floor to a patron. Everything seemed dirty,felt grimy. We wiped the table and menus down with baby wipes. I counted 11 used as I was stacking our plates and putting the used wipes and napkins together. Our food was lukewarm to cold when we received it, and our waitress was told several times "hot food up". She couldn't have thought that was for another server, since she was the only one, mind you. I had my food nearly eaten before I got my water, which the cook got me. Our ticket was written up for regular priced plates/items, and not the specials we had ordered. No surprise, they were too busy to change it in a decent time frame. the kids were getting antsy, so we paid and left. We said this was a good tactic to bring in money (only one server and overcharging), otherwise they'd probably be closed. One thing I do need to praise the waitress on is she doesn't give a place setting with knives in it to kids. They get fork and spoon only. She almost wasn't tipped by us, but we did leave $1, and as we were walking out noticed no more than $2 on each table. With the orders from those tables, I'm sure $2 wasn't the standard tip. I feel bad writing a bad review, but if you are going to serve people, do it respectfully, and don't pick up silverware off the floor and give it to a patron.

    Avoid this location, I have been eating at this location since the 90s. And has always been awesome and clean. I would usually go about 3 to 4 times a week. Not anymore. I noticed that the last few months or so. It has gone down hill. I always eat here after work. Around 1AM. I walk in. The place is packed with a bunch of ghetto saggy pants type of people. It took 45min to get a table. And then when we are seated notice the table had not even been cleaned or anything. Took the waitress and additional 10 minutes to come take our drink order. 30 minutes later the table still has not been cleaned nor our orders taken. I finally reach over the counter and grab a dishrag and clean the table myself. I ordered my usual double hashbrowns two eggs over medium. And bacon with toast. 45 minutes later. I get half my order. Still waiting on my eggs and hash browns. 15 minutes later it finally arrives but by this time The first half of my food that was brought out turned ice cold. Staff needs to spend less Time telling each other there life stories. And more time cleaning the tables and paying attention to orders. I now go to the store on hwy80 and belt line.

    Overall great food! And always friendly staff! (: Only complaint is... bring clorox wipes!! The tables are always dirty even after they're "wiped" down... Happy eating!
