Great place to come for breakfast or lunch. You can never go wrong with breakfast, I don't think I've ever had something I didn't like. My problem is over ordering here... I always feel like I have to get a bagel when I'm here regardless of how big my plate is. The bagels are pretty darn good I prefer the pumpernickel or everything bagels. Rubens are a fav of mine... corn beef or pastrami? Pastrami every time without contemplation!

I stopped here this morning to pick up a few bagels. I have stopped at the North Central Expressway location and I saw the delicious bagels. This morning, Sunday, it was packed! There were people busting out of the front door. Parking was difficult, but I was able to find a spot close to the side of the building. They had fewer bagels at this location and less variety, BUT I enjoyed the bagels I ordered: everything bagel, garlic bagel, and onion bagel. SO GOOD. I would come back here anyday and everyday. I wish they had sweeter bagels though. I can't wait to try more.

FAN-tastic!! I enjoyed every bite of my Reuben Sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other foods. Everything in the display case looked great. My mouth was watering when I first walked in and saw the goodies there.

Good food, and in my neighborhood, so that adds bonus point to this review. HOWEVER: if you want takeout/takeaway/on the go food and you call ahead, be sure they understand the English language! Twice now (my fault, I know) the order has been messed up. Make no mistake: even wrong, the food is good!

Updating to mention the danishes. The cheese danish is the best I've ever had, it is soft and pillowy yet dense and rich. They aren't even that big, yet eating an entire one will put you down. dat danish

I thought the sandwich here wasn't as good as the one in Carrollton. But the service was excellent.

Great food great service recommend migas for breakfast or cheeseburger for lunch or a Ruben also good

Not good at all. Too greasy, substandard food. It was kinda grody. IHOP is fine dining compared to this. I order the 2 egg and bacon with biscuits and gravy. The gravy is runny, the eggs did not come as I liked and everything was was super oily. The waitress was great. But not bad either.

Had nice bowl of matzo ball soup and some lox and bagels on the first day or Hannukkah. (I'm goyum like that.) Why haven't I been in sooner? Great deli-style menu with lots of typical breakfasts items, several NY deli-style sandwiches like rubens, and some sorta ethnic food like latkes and borscht. Plus, a little bakery counter so you can grab a nice black-and-white cookie when you check out.

Cindi's can get extremely busy so if you go during peak hours - expect me squashed in between other customers while waiting for a table. I've had a few sandwiches here but they weren't really anything to die for. Nothing I'd recommend. I usually just get a bagel (they have a variety) and a cup of hot tea. I will say if you go during the evening it is pretty sweet to see couples who have been married for like 50 years having dinner together. It's a sweet place to people watch but that's about it.

I came here for the pastrami sandwhich and it's pretty good. This place is more like a diner feel. I would have to come here a time or two more to give an official review. The service wasn't all that either.

Went here for brunch on Sunday, after our arrival from Cleveland. We ordered a vegetarian omelette, a ham and cheese omelette with biscuits, and a Texican-type omelette. They came with the BEST hashbrowns...nice and crispy without being burnt. The coffee was good, the service was fantastic. The only surprise was they couldn't serve mimosas, although they could have as we were ordering food. There is a nice looking bakery case full of goodies. The omelettes were delicious, less greasy than many establishments, and there was plenty of food for each portion. We liked this place a lot.

I had lunch here one day, ordering the Matzoh ball soup and corned beef sandwich. It was good but not as good as Deli News.

I am really into Cindi's! Star ranking is inflated by them having gluten free bread which delighted my husband to no end, finally he can enjoy a reuben at a restaurant! he said it was really good (they had Local Oven onion rolls, so that's what he had it on.) I was excited to see german pancakes which I always order if I see them on a menu and these were excellent. Great crepes, ample sugar, butter, and lemon. Side of bacon was crispy and delicious. Waitress was sweet and on top of things. Bada bing bada boom, great place to live so close to. I look forward to trying some of the baked goods!

I've been looking for a great locally-owned deli and I think I found it! My New York Reuben combo definitely delivered satisfaction. I went with the pastrami! My sandwich had plentiful portions of meat and sauerkraut on rye bread with in-house sliced Swiss cheese...Russian sauce on the side, didn't try it. The combo came with two sides of choice. Freshly cooked sweet potato fries and (just average) coleslaw made up my combo. The slaw was a bit soupy. Here you can also find friendly service, breakfast served all day, and yummy looking baked pastries. Planning to try more on a dine-in experience.

If you don't give this place a 5-Star rating on their food you are insane! As it turns out my servers have always been exceptional but I can really care less about that; the food is just so amazing! I'm from NY/NJ, trust me it's authenticate. And the bagels are boiled!! You might not know why that's important but just go have a bagel there every time you go!

Headed to Cindi's after Christmas with my brother... another DELIGHTFUL meal! This time I tried the Taco Omelette, which I hadn't tried before... YUM!! Perfectly spicy, meaty, and cheesy! With a side of home fries (way better than hash browns... go for the home fries!) and biscuits, this is a great way to indulge! I looooove breakfast food for lunch! So filling! I have yet to try any of the deli sandwiches or desserts... They always look so tempting! But I'm such a sucker for breakfast food! Such a great little diner type atmosphere! If I lived in Dallas, I would be at Cindi's EVERY weekend!!

I keep looking for Jerry, George and Elaine. Comfortable and authentic NY deli - the #4 pastrami and corned beef on rye is the best sandwich I have eaten.

This was our first time and we will definitely be back! I had a Cindi's omelet and my husband had a taco omelet. It was a lot of food for $8.25. It was a 3 egg omelet with choice of potatoes and toast, bagel, biscuit or pancakes. The eggs were nice an fluffy, potatoes were perfect and the pancakes were really good as well. This was as close to a real deli as I have seen in the DFW area. I can't speak to the sandwiches but everything I saw going to other tables looked fantastic.

Denny's classier cousin, but pretty much the same fare just of a little higher quality. The potato pancakes seem to be made from a mix, the kind that stays in the cupboard at home forever that you finally relent and whip up in a few minutes when everything else in the house has been eaten and no one feels like driving to the store. Cleaner and cozier than Waffle House, unless it's Sunday after church the waits aren't as bad, and the menu has a few healthy and fresh choices. For what it is, better than its competitors.

You cannot charge nearly $11 for an omelet and serve subpar food. I had the Cindi's omelet with grits and cottage cheese. The salsa on the omelet was of the Pace picante came out of a jar variety. The egg was overcooked and a bit rubbery, the veggies were scant, and there was charred black bits in it. We were sat next to the kitchen even though we asked to be seated elsewhere. The grits were completely devoid of any seasoning. Terrible food. Our server was very nice though.

Comfy seats and good breakfast and brunch items on the menu. They have an assortment of pastries that you can grab and go. But if you have more time, sit yourself down in those comfy red chairs and order some food from their extensive menu. I went with the chorizo and egg breakfast with coffee and it was great. The husband opted for the biscuits and gravy breakfast and it was so-so. Of course, I was comparing his food with some stellar biscuits and gravy we've eaten in Louisiana! But Cindi's is good. Quick and friendly service, and not super expensive. Did I mention the super-comfy chairs?

My department went to this Cindi's for a birthday lunch. Someone I know is quite the sandwich connoisseur, and a lover of the Ruben. So off we went. Most of us ordered a Reuben. Go there and get one. While your arteries and butt (or belly or where ever you tend to store fat - oh who cares) may not appreciate it, your taste buds and insides will love you. Go. Now. Eat. Sauerkraut. Meat. Cheese. Napkins. Ask for lots of napkins.

Was so disappointed went to this restaurant after the movie's for Father's Day with my husband and children. The waiter that took our orders was not paying any attention to us and messed up everyone's order. We moved to Texas from New York years ago and I still remember what a good Diner is like and this is not even close. Our food wasn't all that good either and the diner did not appear to be very clean, it's probably a good thing that we couldn't see into the kitchen. My husbands Grits were swimming in cheap margarine, my Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich was made with Steakum's which if you have ever had those they are tasteless rubber that was smothered in grease and over cooked onions and peppers the only good thing on the plate was the fries, even the coleslaw was warm and all of the pickles that were brought to the table were warm and limp. Suggestion to these owners, train your wait staff on how to provide good customer service instead of taking orders on the back of old receipts and getting them wrong, oh and when you do get a move on to fix the problem.

Another WOW experience. I really enjoy sitting down in a comfy booth early in the morning to have a good breakfast and Cindi's did not let me down. Overall the menu looked ample for any meal which I am sure I will try when I return. For now..the breakfast special with two eggs, bacon, hash-browns and biscuits and gravy was PERFECT. The only gig is...I'm not use to paying $2 for a cup of coffee at a diner.

I had the cheese danish and banana slices. It was cheap and the danish was to-die-for! My husband had the pancakes and hashbrowns and he ate every bit of it. It was good diner food with great pastries. I would have loved to try more on their menu!

This is kind of a hard review to write... while I do like the place, I just feel it's 3-star worthy. If I go to someplace that has "NY Deli" in the name, I expect a proper sandwich. I ordered the NY Ruben that was over $10 and it had seemed like it had about 50cents worth of corned beef on it. It surely wasn't any sort of NY style ruben I've ever had. Other than that, the sandwich was pretty darn good and I had a wonderful time there. The service was great and the potato salad was awesome as well!. Looking forward to going back and will update you guys!

I met my friend here for brunch one Sunday and it was packed! Although we were promptly seated, it took a little while for us to get worthwhile service. However, once things started to calm down a little, it was smooth sailing and we taken care of. I had the Migas and they were SO yummy! The eggs were cooked well and the cheese was plentiful. I ate all the eggs which left only a little room for the hash browns I ordered. The has browns were very well cooked; not too sticky, not too crispy, and not salty! The salsa was okay, but they have 3 different kinds of picante hot sauces, plus Tabasco, if you are so inclined :) My friend got Lox & Eggs and loved it! They got grits and biscuits and gravy to accompany, and again, were not disappointed. The portion sizes were generous and we weren't able to finish our food, but the price was right, for sure. With Migas, coffee and tip, I walked out for a cool $11! Some locations offer delivery, but this one doesn't yet. This one does stay open later than most others, though.

This time, I had the bagel and lox. Absolutely wonderful. The bagel was toasted to perfection without over doing it, the cream cheese decadent, and the lox outstanding. My only issue is I wished they had sliced the red onion a little thinner because with it as thick as it was, definite mouth wash material. My buddy had the Corned Beef, Pastrami and Swiss Cheese Topped with Cole Slaw and Russian Dressing and couldn't stop IM'ing me about it afterwards.

Very average food. Weak, low-quality coffee. Coffee Mate on table instead of half and half. I always ask for a small glass of milk, which they happily bring me. Nice service. Overall, this place is nothing special.

This place has the BEST corn beef and pastrami sandwich I've had in Dallas. Their breakfasts are good too. They have a nice assortment of pastries, but the two times we tried their other desserts (Boston Creme Pie and Coconut Pie), we were disappointed. Still, the sandwiches and breakfasts are more than worth it. Just skip the dessert or have a strudel.

I personally love this place. My dad started taking me there a few years back.. and now i live just about a mile down the road and I go just about weekly. My norm is frenchtoast and hashbrowns w/ cheese.. they do it perfectly.. haven't found any place that does it better.. I've tried a few other things that aer good too.. their home fries, potato salad, cheese danish and phili steak sandwhich were all great too! Staff is always nice.. Even when it is packed their service is fairly quick. Breakfast is served all day.. and they have a fairly decent selection on their menu to say the least..seems to have a family type setting feel to it. i love it personally.. i tell everyone i know about that place and every single person has loved it and either wants to go back or has gone back. :)

My mom and her beau, both in their eighties, have been coming her for many years and became particularly fond of Cheryl, one of the delightful waitresses, and would even wait quite a while to be seated in her area on busy days. My mom became quite ill and was in hospice care the last month of her life. Cheryl sent a piece of my mom's favorite pie home to her and she wrote on the syrofoam box (which I have saved!): Dear Charlene, Enjoy the pie! We miss you and love you, Cheryl." There is no price that can be put on this kind of kindness and compassion. Not only is the food at Cindi's very good, but the friendliness and camaraderie here makes the world a better place! Thank you, Cheryl!!!!

Gotta tell you that a Reuben [you might want to request that they drain the sauerkraut] with beef tongue will throw you back to Sarge's on 3rd in NYC in a flash. HOWEVER ... unlike Sarge's in NYC, this place has none of the hurry-scurry that Sarge's has. The times I've been there it "features" silver-haired "ladies who lunch" ... in slow motion..

They fly their bagels in from H & H in Manhattan daily. Best bagels ever - I buy some every Saturday. Pastries are delicious. The reuben will suffice. As close as I've found in Dallas to a traditional NY deli/diner. Their potato latkes are really, really good.

This is a great place for brunch! I personally am not a fan of breakfast but most are, so here I can get anything on the menu in the late morning! Including some great fried okra! Restaurant.com has a great coupon for this place... Its a great hangover place to go! Friday is what we call Thanksgiving day and it is the best ghetto turkey and dressing meal! Also Karen is one of the sweetest servers!!!

Thanks to Crys B, I decided to go try out the biscuits and gravy here, seeing how this is probably one of the only breakfast items I really enjoy. They were pretty dang good too. The biscuits are great. The gravy was nice and creamy. This is a simple dish, but often the biscuits can be stale or dry, or the gravy runny if you get them at the wrong place. But I had no problems with Cindi's. My one complaint is that there is no sausage in the gravy, so I had to order some patties as a side. They were REALLY good sausage patties. Better even than the ones in my grade school cafeteria (which I LOVED as a kid). This is a southern comfort food that I really enjoyed, and I would most definately recommend this place for a good southern style breakfast. (And the waitress called me "honey" if you're into that kinda thing)

Biscuits and gravy. Yep, that's all it takes to make me happy, at least since I moved to Califonia, where I can't seem to find a place that can make good biscuits and gravy. I grew up on this meal, my grandmother was a farm girl from Illinois, so this is major comfort food. Go to Cindy's, have some biscuits and gravy, or even a bagel or omelet if you prefer, but breakfast here is good ol' homestyle food that will make you happy.

A short review. We stopped in for a quick bite on the way to visit Dad @ Med City. All the food we had was good. I had a chicken fried steak and it was satisfactory. The mashed pot. and grean beans were good. Really the toast they give you is one of the best parts of the meal. They must grill it with butter and it was smashed flat. My daughter had the chili and my wife had the potato soup. The soup had lots of potato in it and she enjoyed it. Daughter liked the chili. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. The parking lot a downer. A diner type atmosphere with prices that are more like Friday's. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food was on.

I came to this place on whim after a movie at Cinemark down the street. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I've eaten their breakfast every time I've come regardless of what time I'm dining. The pancakes are to die for. You know what, the whole damn menu is great.

I've been meaning to try out Cindi's Deli for months and have been obsessively stalking their Instagram page, until I finally went on a Sunday morning. I have to say, this place is pretty great! We usually go to the Deli News on Preston when my husband is craving some New York comfort food, but Cindi's is A. closer and B. cheaper. (And with reviews so great, the decision was practically made for us.) We arrive around noonish and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Totally worth it. We started off by sharing a bowl of Cindi's Combo Bowl of Soup. (One Matzo Ball, One Kreplach, Rice and Noodles) I'm not very familiar with this kind of soup, so I'm probably not the right person to judge, but I found it to be really plain. (In flavor and appearance.) The broth and the kreplach especially -- HOWEVER, the Matzo ball, the deliciously tasty, dense ball of matzo, was the star of the dish. I usually find matzo balls to be so bland, but this one was fantastic. I could have eaten four of those suckers and still wanted more. I ordered the Nova Lox on an Everything bagel (lightly toasted as recommended). Fabulous. Fresh ingredients, fresh salmon, fresh everything. Couldn't have asked for anything else. (Except for more salmon, but it's only because I'm addicted to the stuff.) My husband ordered the New York Reuben with Pastrami and sweet potato fries. Holy hell, was I jealous of what he ordered. I mean, don't get me wrong, my lox was great -- but his sandwich looked like east coast heaven mashed between two pieces of golden toasted rye bread. And to be honest? It tasted even better. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, friendly and funny. Awesome little diner. We'll definitely be back!

I have never been to New York in my life yet. So I can't compare any NY deli to this one. But what I can say is that eating here for the first time. I was amazed on the quality of the food and how much you get for so little money than some other places, If this is a real NY style deli then we as Texans are lucky to have here. Even though it's my first time here and I will come back again very soon. Thanks to my brother in law for recommending this place for me and my wife. I read other reviews too and they are all right. This place is good damn good. The atmosphere is quite and little and cute. Kinda old school. The food and the deli meats look at so yummy and good. I really wanted to try the pecan banana pancakes but that'll be next time. My wife's Friday special turkey and dressing was good too because she shared a bite lol. I wanted to eat it lol. All in all I highly recommend this NY style deli to anyone who loves food.

Loved it all. The outside was not the prettiest and we awkwardly waited for two minutes or so, but everything after that was great. We sat down, the waiter came back about a minute later, and took our drink order. The Dr. Browns black cherry soda was delicious. The waiter came back a few minutes later and took out order. The nova lox was great. Creamy but not to fishy. I would highly recommend eating here.

I had been sick all day. I finally got my hunger back and was craving their matzah ball soup. (and a piece of lemon pie) I had been craving pie for a week. (this is important to the story) We ordered take out. Picked it up. Unpacked everything + no pie = NOT HAPPY!! : ( Quick Flashback: I had a very mediocre experience at the Little Red Wasp during Sunday Brunch in FT. Worth the day before. I was starting to get sick. I asked for an OJ. I was told that they OJ was reserved for people drinking mimosa's. Seriously? When I figured out that their was no pie I was heartbroken. I know, I know, dramatic! I wanted pie so bad I was going to drive up there myself - even though I had been super sick all day. We called Cindi's - they told us not to worry, we weren't charged for it. Wait, what? We ordered pie and then got home and it wasn't there. Just because you didn't charge us for it doesn't mean that we didn't want it?? GRRRRRR! Hung up. Grumbled about bad service and said if I owned the place I would have someone drive the pie over to my house. (We are only a couple miles away) 30 seconds later the phone rang. A manager was on the pone apologizing for the mishap and said they were sending someone over to deliver the pie. WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? I couldn't believe it. 12 minutes later pie was delivered. People like to moan and complain on here a lot. It's either AWESOME!! Or SUCKY! I want this review to be something different. Cindi's didn't just make it right they went above and beyond to make it right. I own a business and spoke of this excellent customer service to my team the next day. I had a few client issues that needed to be dealt with. I asked myself, what would Cindi's do? Cindi's delivers pie to your door. Thank you for my pie! You saved my life. PS. The matzah ball soup may have had something do with it too. It is amazeballs!!

Went here for lunch on a Monday with a friend. We had to wait about 10 minutes. I was expecting a panera type place but what it was was actually a diner place with amazing home cooked foods. They have homemade Danishes and amazing bagels. On this particular rainy cold day i went with some comfort food, chicken and dumplings. It was part of a Monday special. The dumplings came with a choice of 2 vegetables. The salad was nothing special and the broccoli was a little odd but all good. The chicken and dumplings however were delicious. A definite must have again. My friend ordered the matzo ball soup and that too was delicious. The place had a full bar and had pretty quick service. They also offered breakfast all day which also looked amazing! This is a definite must try again!

Service is pleasant, but slow. Ordered an everything bagel and cream cheese. The bagel was fresh, but only had seasoning on one side. This was disappointing. I ordered one cup of coffee. A pot was dropped off, which was nice. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

I met a friend here for lunch and was surprised at how packed it was! It definitely reminded me of a small corner deli, even the plating and the flavors were very small diner feel even though I know this is a chain in the DFW area. I had the whitefish salad to start, which was tasty. Smoked whitefish with bagel chips to snack on like a dip, very tasty. I will warn you that their portions are honest. I should have just got the cup of matzo ball soup (one ball) and instead I got the bowl and was shocked at the portion size! HUGE! I ended up taking half of it home for dinner. A half-sandwich is also more than enough for lunch based on my friend's order. He had the tongue and I snuck a taste and it was good. Friendly staff, but if you're in a rush this may not be the best choice. They're very busy and you'll probably take more time than you planned!

I love the meatloaf. Has lots of sauce. Just how I like it. The waitstaff is a little rude but fast. They have a large menu so you'll find something to eat.

Good choice for lunch as it was inexpensive and fast. This chain location has a good atmosphere with a substantial amount of older patrons. Ate lunch on a weekday and it appears as if a lot of the regulars all know each other. The food isn't particularly special and being so full for lunch only bar seating was available. Felt like an all American diner actually.

This is my third trip to Cindi's, and I have been consistently impressed. The bagels are fresh and flavorful truly living up to their New York billing. Portions would make your mother proud and help this place fit right in in Texas. Come for any meal... this place has a plethora of options!

Used to eat here at least once a week, but now I have to reconsider. Ordered the Hotdog platter with some chopped onions for the dog and was surprised when the bill arrived. they charged .50 for chopped onions on a hot dog. Shame on them. I can understand extra charges if they are listed, or additions for non regular items; but onions on a hot dog? I am grateful at least they didn't charge for the mustard. P.S. Now I guess I am "confused".

Cindi's appears to be a real deal delicatessen, but... After coming to this location several times since early summer, I'm come to realize it's a pretty decent deli, but I guess I'm actually looking for a remarkable deli. I've had several different plates over the last few months, including deli staples likes Hot Pastrami, Hot Corned Beef, Roast Beef, and Reuben sandwiches. I've also had the Chicken & Dumplings and Chicken Soup, they hit home in a big way, hearty and big flavor. The service has always been friendly and reasonably quick and the best part, no empty glasses! But...the best part of a delicatessen for me...the deli meats...are only just okay. To me, they are lacking the seasoning and unique taste of Pastrami or Corned Beef. Sure, they taste like Pastrami, Corned Beef, or even Roast Beef, but they are missing that fresh flavor and tenderness, of dare I say it, yes, a delicatessens of Chicago or New York City. I wished they made their own meats in-house verse ordering from NYC, it's just not the same. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but not the same. Either way, Cindi's is a suitable place to have a good lunch, but it's falls a little short of being a New York deli. (Yeah, I know, I actually said that.) Will I continue to have lunch here? Of course, it's still one of the few delis in Dallas.

I have to say I was very surprised to enjoy Jewish New York style deli chain in Texas from a restaurant owned by an Asian woman. The kids enjoyed some traditional matzah ball soup. They said it was good but not as good as daddy's. It was good enough to inspire my daughter to ask me to reinstate matzah ball Wednesdays when I make it at home. I just realized that I forgot to finish this review and it's been almost a month since we ate here. I can't quite remember what my wife and I ate but I do remember enjoying it so I will go back again soon.

The Sunday morn/afternoon spot for the wife and I for the last 5yrs! Amazing bagels, great lox, and sandwiches the size of a small child's head! Staff is always friendly and attentive, food is delicious, and portions are massive! Love this place! Never cared for Rueben sandwiches until I had one here! Nom Nom!

I live super close by, and happened to walk in after a cold, afternoon walk with my husband along the trail by forest/75. I think this place is family run, and they are super nice. The matzo ball soup is perfect on a cold day!! Hotdogs are kosher, and they have kosher meats at the deli counter too! The place has a NY deli charm, with wooden panels and retro decor. Everyone you see there is friendly, with a smile. They have a wonderful array of desserts too...got a slice of some chocolate cake...'twas delicious!

I found myself enjoying my meal at Cindi's despite that I'm not an avid sandwich fan. A group of us went along with a co-worker who professed a great love for the hot pastrami at Cindi's. I would have immediately dismissed Cindi's as yet another diner/breakfast/bakery that served up carb-loaded blue collar comforts were it not for the New York style sandwich menu. There aren't too many places in town that serves up a beef tongue sandwich--not that I've gone hunting for one, mind you. I've never experienced beef tongue on sliced bread before--so I had to try it with the corned beef and pastrami. The shaved meats on rye, paired with Russian dressing and cole slaw, was a revelation--good deli sandwiches need not start with unidentified processed meat vacuum-sealed by Oscar Mayer. Chicken kreplach soup--just like chicken dumpling and chicken noodle--imparted such a sense of well-being that I couldn't help but imagine that the wonderful broth was already buffering my health. When all was said and done, my coworkers and I had to concede it was a satisfying meal. There was definitely more to this lunch and breakfast shop than just the standard soup/sandwich fare. (And the story of how a Vietnamese lady came to own a Jewish deli is an interesting one.) An epilogue to my visit: my man finally ate the cinnamon bun that I had bought from Cindi's bakery. It had sat around for 2 days before he finally committed himself--cinnamon bun addicts will compromise their standards despite common sense. However, he was rather shocked to discover that it tasted good for less-than-fresh and was somewhat dismayed he had not tried it sooner.

Just stopped in to grab some quick breakfast. Grabbed a bagel and cheese danish to go and it was amazing! Best bagel I've had in a while. And the Danish is fluffy and the cheese is the perfect balance of sweet and cheesy.

I can't remember the last time I had a real deli sandwich, I'm lying I can but it wasn't in anywhere near here. It was Slyman's in Cleveland OH, the best Turkey Reuben I have ever had. The Turkey Reuben I had at Cindi's it's a tie it's been a long time since I was in Cleveland but the sandwich was memorable. But this weekend I went to Cindi's so it's about them: This was not premium grocery story deli turkey, it was so much better. It was tender buttery tasting turkey. It was not overpowered by salt like a lot of sandwich turkey is. I'm a fan of homemade sauerkraut and if this wasn't home made it fooled me. Add the provolone and grilled to perfection on rye breab, yum! I was pleased the Russian dressing is on the side even though I ate all of it and just thinking about that sandwich makes me want to get back in my car again to get another one. I didn't try the potato salad i just got sweet potato fries which were ya know okay. I had a bite of some heavenly coffee cake and a bite of the sweetest pretzel in town. I can't wait to go back and try the Matzo ball soup it will be a first for me but so many people ordered I just have to give it a try on my next visit.

I was in Addison and I wanted to try Cindis out because there's a few around so they must be good right? plus they have good rating for this location. I had matzoh ball soup for the first time!!! I dont know how good it's suppose to be because I've never had it before. Judging from the one I had here, I would never eat it again. I just didnt like the texture of the matzoh ball. If you've never had it before it was like grounded up grits in chicken broth. I also had a banana walnut waffle. The waffle was really good! it came with banana syrup and not ordinary maple one! I would definitely get food to go next time though. Service was horrible, my friend asked for water twice and waiter wasnt that attentive or friendly. as a matter of fact, nobody here was friendly. Not even the people at the cash register.

I'm not a fan of this place because everything I have gotten here is decent, not good. I tried the cheeseburger which was actually not even good and same for the fries. It's all just bland to me. There was this one time that I had gotten the pigs in blanket which was pretty good. All in all this place is not so good, plus they take a long time to serve out your food.

I stumbled upon this place while looking for a new establishment to eat and after I had seen the tex-mex omelette online from a fellow yelper, I was mesmerized to try that beast!! First impression while I walked in , I thought this was cleaner than mama's daugther diner, that's one star for its own. Secondly, the service was awesome So that brought it up two stars, and food??!!! You know that feeling you get the item you ordered tasting better than you thought or even pictured it?My heart could not ever feel inexpressibly content after eating this awesome omelette, aside from the original house of pancake. I never give out five stars unless a establishment really out do's themselves but after even checking out their restrooms, I'd taken more trust in their ethics and admiration for their hard workers!! That put my review over the top!! So check out this place and definitely try their tex-me omelette!!

This resturant was awesome. The food was great. We had the matzo ball soup. It was excellent. I had the 3 eggs with lox bagel. It was so good. My husband had the tex mex omelet. It was so delicious. We will be back for sure.

In terms of breakfast food, this place is BOMB. Tasty pancakes, great omelettes, and yummy pastries. I regret not trying a cup of coffee, though. It was already 4pm and didn't feel like staying up all night. I ordered the Tex-Mex omelette (3 eggs, jalapenos, cheese, topped with onions and meat chili). It was so darn good. The hashbrowns could've been a tad more browned, but the meat in the chili was so tender. I had several perfect bites with the right amount of onion, chili, egg, cheese, and jalapeno. mmMmm.. The pancakes were standard, but good. I'd definitely come back again.

There's a reason why we like the music of our youth; We're addicted to our lives. Our experiences make up a large part of who we are, and we hold onto our memories like priceless little pieces that add up to who we are, and where we've been is a large part of that. If you start reading the reviews of Cindi's, you will start reading the same thing over and over again. Reviews contain "reminds me when I was..." and "just like back when..." tell it all; Cindi's reminds us of what we used to eat in our days gone by. But wait a minute. Cindi's is just a typical greasy spoon with a front-door bakery. There are a zillion of these places up North, and the novelty here is simulating that experience out of context in the South. It's designed to bring you back to a time when you used to go to these places -- probably before the culture changed and the standards shifted to less buttery, oily, carb heavy dishes. But yet, our past is a powerful influencer, and it overrides our common day expectations. So yes, my argument is some of us are not thinking objectively when eating here. So I gave Cindi's a two star. I'm not rating it on what it reminds me of, I'm rating it for what it is today, and how it stacks up against the competition. And in doing that, there's not really any comparison. I would give Cindi's this: It's good for breakfast, in that there really aren't very good breakfast places around Dallas, except for maybe Bread Winners. Original Pancake House is pretty much the same food model as Cindi's (sans bakery), but without the Northern decor. And let's not even consider IHOP. In Dallas breakfast options are strangely limited.

Tasty tasty deli sammich goodness. Saw a Man vs Food episode about east coast sandwiches stuff with cole slaw, so that was my craving. Their Kerplach soup is good with lots of flavor. I had the RB, Turkey, swiss with coleslaw and it was delish. The one thing I have to remember at deli's is to ask for my bread toasted otherwise their bread is really good. Yeah, it's a little pricey but you have to remember this isn't Quizno's or Subways, their deli meat is high quality and you get lots of it. I also splurged on their coffee cake and sweet pretzel. You have to make room for their desserts, if you don't have room then buy it and save it for later....crazy good. If I had to choose between Cindy's and Gio's NY Deli, I would definitely drive to Cindy's.

Diner food at its finest. I live in the neighborhood, so my boyfriend and I call ahead and bring home breakfast from Cindi's a lot on the weekends. You get so much food for the price and it's fresh and good. I'm a fan of the avocado and tomato omelette, bagels, and hash browns. They have a lot of New York deli options as well as traditional southern food (e.g. biscuits and gravy, grits, etc.). I also like that they offer fresh fruit as a side - not just a few grapes and honeydew, but actual fresh fruit salad with apples, oranges, berries, melons, etc. The sandwiches are cheap and good as well - I particularly like the Turkey Melt. The ambiance is typical deli/diner - outdated, kinda dark, but clean. There's a full bar which always surprises me given the atmosphere - but I guess some people like drinking there. You really can't be the price and quick service. The menu is large enough to accommodate pretty much anyone - healthy options, fried goodness, veggie lovers, meat lovers, breakfast, lunch - they've got it all.

Awakened this morning craving breakfast, which is a rarity as I usually don't eat until lunch. (For shame on me....I know, I know, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day.) This a.m. was an exception, gotta have some breakfast foodies, NOW ! This spot has been several different restaurants; Dunston's Steakhouse way back when, followed by the American Grill (or something like that) and the plain nondescript decor has not changed much in the various transitions. It's your typical neighborhood diner. This one just happens to have a full bar, with complimentary membership. I've frequented Cindi's several times for lunch; some of their daily specials are pretty yummy; liver & onions, chicken & dumplings and love their veges; spinach, black-eyed peas, squash casserole, all varying options each day. But today, it's gotta be eggs, toast, etc. It was fairly quiet when I arrived mid-morning, only a few tables occupied. The lunch crowd starts around 1100 and it gets packed. I was seated promptly in one of the red plastic booths and friendly server stops by to take my order for coffee. Delivered promptly. I went for two poached eggs, a side of potato latkes with sour cream and applesauce, and Rye toast. Every bite met my expectations. The eggs were perfectly cooked, soft and runny yolk; YUM ! The latkes were seasoned well and prepared with egg, white and green onions, fried crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Most tasty with the accompaniments. The Rye toast with grape jelly rounded out my feast. Cravings nipped in the bud! On my way out, picked up a small serving of chopped liver. I've had better elsewhere, but with some added pepper, Cindi's version is pretty decent. Their egg salad is also one of my take home choices. Service is excellent by cheerful happy servers, many of whom have been there for years. It's a great spot to drop in for nice lunch options and like today, a delicious breakfast. (There are 3 breakfast specials for $5.50 including eggs with choice of meat, hash browns, toast or biscuits; pancakes with eggs and meat; and burritos. Pretty good deal)

Big disappointment. Sevice was very slow. Overpriced. This is No better than your neighborhood breakfast restaurant. The food was ok, pancakes and waffle was so-so. No Music, Only one bathroom. I am a foodie, went lots of restaurants, I am not going back or recommend my friends.

I've been thinking about deli food since my mother mentioned a Reuben sandwich a week ago. So today I took care of that craving. Cindi's was busy at lunchtime, but after a short wait I was seated at a booth and my very friendly waitress greeted me immediately and took my drink order. After deliberately skipping over half the multi-page menu containing breakfast items, I got to the deli sandwiches and found what I wanted. And more. I ordered my dreamed of Reuben and a side of latkes (which I had been dreaming about since Hanukkah) though it was hard not to order the chopped liver with Bermuda onion. It was all delicious, including the cole slaw and potato salad on the side. I will definitely be back to explore the breakfast side and get that chopped liver.

(4)Rachel R.
(4)Kenny W.
FAN-tastic!! I enjoyed every bite of my Reuben Sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other foods. Everything in the display case looked great. My mouth was watering when I first walked in and saw the goodies there.
(5)Jilson J.
(3)Dave M.
Updating to mention the danishes. The cheese danish is the best I've ever had, it is soft and pillowy yet dense and rich. They aren't even that big, yet eating an entire one will put you down. dat danish
(5)Dominic C.
I thought the sandwich here wasn't as good as the one in Carrollton. But the service was excellent.
(3)Lisa G.
Great food great service recommend migas for breakfast or cheeseburger for lunch or a Ruben also good
(4)ViJay K.
(2)Ryan B.
(4)Valerie M.
(3)Michelle L.
I came here for the pastrami sandwhich and it's pretty good. This place is more like a diner feel. I would have to come here a time or two more to give an official review. The service wasn't all that either.
(3)Amanda L.
(4)Lydia Chur E.
I had lunch here one day, ordering the Matzoh ball soup and corned beef sandwich. It was good but not as good as Deli News.
(3)Shannon G.
(5)Ms. J.
(4)A C.
(5)Alexis N.
(4)Prince H.
I keep looking for Jerry, George and Elaine. Comfortable and authentic NY deli - the #4 pastrami and corned beef on rye is the best sandwich I have eaten.
(5)Dia N.
(4)Awilda K.
(5)Sarah G.
(2)Newly P.
(4)Masami O.
(4)Jessica P.
Service is good! Food came out fast! Yummy French toast :) recommend it for anyone who wants a quick and yummy breakfast !
(4)Lissa A.
Are here on a Saturday morning and it was packed but not a long wait. Great atmosphere and huge menu full of everything breakfast- we both loved what we got.
(4)Marie R.
(1)Scot D.
(4)Samantha K.
I had the cheese danish and banana slices. It was cheap and the danish was to-die-for! My husband had the pancakes and hashbrowns and he ate every bit of it. It was good diner food with great pastries. I would have loved to try more on their menu!
(4)Doug A.
Excellent place. Had the lox and smoked whitefish for brunch. Reminded me of NJ. Took a black and white cookie home for later!
(5)Antoinette G.
Absolutely wonderful. Old fashioned diner-style cozy atmosphere, prompt and friendly service (but not hurried), and a clean restaurant. Combine that with a GREAT breakfast and strong coffee, and you can bet I will return!
(5)Deff G.
(3)Dana R.
(5)David W.
(4)Steve R.
Old diner style place with fresh baked breads and bagels new york style. The reuben rocks!
(4)Nick S.
Stars are breakfast and lunch. 2.5 for dinner. Great diner lunch and bfast
(4)Scott S.
Go there now. Need I say more? Sure it is expensive for a sandwich, but all good deli's are my friend. I do miss Gilberts though.
(5)Kristen D.
Very average food. Weak, low-quality coffee. Coffee Mate on table instead of half and half. I always ask for a small glass of milk, which they happily bring me. Nice service. Overall, this place is nothing special.
(3)Jeffrey C.
Poorly maintained, filthy premises. No greeting. After several minutes waiting I walked.
(1)Kim M.
(4)Ashley J.

(5)Steve W.
(4)Shawn M.
They fly their bagels in from H & H in Manhattan daily. Best bagels ever - I buy some every Saturday. Pastries are delicious. The reuben will suffice. As close as I've found in Dallas to a traditional NY deli/diner. Their potato latkes are really, really good.
(4)Judd C.
(3)Daniel W.
(3)Crystal B.

The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food was on.

yes, dallas, you can find honest to goodness NY black and white cookies in north texas. cindi makes them just like my UES bakery used to. i'll definitely be back for more.

a good amount of food for a small price! bagel was toasted perfectly!

This is the best Deli in Dallas. They have a fantastic breakfast me menu, incredibly delicious bagels, in-house pastries, and great pastrami sandwiches. We have been here twice and we will be coming back for more.

(4)David D.
I love the meatloaf. Has lots of sauce. Just how I like it. The waitstaff is a little rude but fast. They have a large menu so you'll find something to eat.
(4)Greg D.

(5)Shelly E.
I've lived in Manhattan and this menu rivals NYC! Food Bagels Coffee Waitresses all great. Great quality of ingredients too. Nothing fancy or fun just good food.
(5)Nina L.
Karan is A great waitress; experienced and efficient. My second visit here and I've enjoyed the breakfast and takeout soups. Very kid friendly and reasonably priced. Will come again soon.

Nom Nom!
(5)Sheldon H.
Tasty breakfast, quick, and cheap with great service! I recommend the French toast sandwich!
(5)Amanda J.
Loved having brunch here! I got the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of extra crispy bacon and hash browns. Savored every bite. My friends got omelettes and bagels, giving them 10 out of 10s! Will definitely be back!!

(3)Jose P.
(2)Bryan S.
(5)Mila R.
This resturant was awesome. The food was great. We had the matzo ball soup. It was excellent. I had the 3 eggs with lox bagel. It was so good. My husband had the tex mex omelet. It was so delicious. We will be back for sure.
(5)Amy K.

(4)Jacqueline V.

(4)Jane K.
