Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I ordered a pepperoni, roasted bell pepper and red onion pizza - surprisingly spicy which I loved, however some could consider that a bold move! What if I didn't want it spicy? Well I do so it was amazing!! Ingredients were fresh, well-proportioned and delicious, the crust was the perfect thinness (NY style) and would have been crispier I believe if I didn't live as far as I do for delivery. That being said it arrived within the specified 30-45 minutes and was excellent. I would not recommend the chicken pestino because it had a small thin sliver of chicken breast (which was tasty) and very little lettuce. Tomatoes and onion were also diced. It wasn't great. The Sub style bread it came on was very good though and I think the meatball sub or Philly sub would really be a better choice. I love the idea of Mediterranean food being delivered to my door and I am happy to see another option besides L.A. Gourmet (which also delivers great pizza and gyros). I tried the Gyro from Bona which was filled with fresh, tasty ingredients. Not the most amazing gyro ever but really good for $4 and they will deliver it to your door. What a country! I can't wait to order them again and I look forward to trying the other items on their menu. Definitely give them a try!

I learned of Bona via a flyer on my doorstep when they moved to the neighborhood. I always pitch those flyers, but I love helping out new businesses and thought, "What the heck. How bad can a pizza be if they mess up?" Well, Bona shows how great a pizza can be! Bona is, no doubt, now my go-to for pizza. The ingredients are fresh, never heavy and always perfect. They have really perfected their menu, serving only what they can serve well. I have tried both the basic pizzas and their specialty pizzas. The crust is neither too thin nor too thick. If you like to fold your slice in half as you eat it, then this is your crust. If you like a bread-y edge to your pizza, then this is your crust. I have yet to venture into the sandwich, calzone or kabob side of the menu because the pizza is so good. I'm afraid to stray. I do get great reviews from friends and family though who have. Maybe tonight's my night..... Service and delivery are always fast and friendly. I do wish they would delve into the dessert world, making their own rather than purchasing from another vendor. I'm not saying what they offer is bad, but considering how great their pizza, etc. is, I bet homemade desserts would be just are incredible. Give them a try. I'd hate to see a hardworking guy, with a great little business, fall by the wayside.

New place for the Bluffview area. Take-out and delivery, no seating. The guy who took my order was polite. I asked if they make their own pestos, taziki, and sauces and he said 'yes' they did. I placed my order, he said 30 minutes and it was about that long. The pizza was good but I thought it needed more of everything - sauce, cheese, toppings. We ordered a chicken kabob with the hummus and babaganooj, but they sent beef. It was all really good, including good pita, but I wanted chicken. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will stick to the Greek side of the menu or sandwiches such as meatball, panini, gyros. I think they will be a good addition to the neighborhood. I hope they can attain 4 stars in my book.

I've ordered from here twice recently and both meals have been great. My roommate and I shared a pizza the first time (pepperoni and jalepeno) and it was really good. Second meal I got was a calzone and it was even better. I look forward to trying a Gyro very soon, too. Keep up the good work guys
(5)Diane H.
This was phenomenal pizza and phenomenal service. Called and ordered at 6:15 on a Friday night and it was delivered in 30 minutes. I'm Italian from Chicago and this is the best pizza in Dallas. Run. Don't walk. Especially if you live in the neighborhood.
(5)Tony R.
The service was great and the pizza was the BEST outside New York and Chicago. It cost more but it's worth the $5 extra dollars. Try the eggplant pizza... Incredible flavor.
(5)Marcus W.
After enjoying the Marisol, we've tried several other of their specialty pizzas, and each one was just as good as the last. We really liked the Quatro Formaggi, Carbonara, and Olympia pizzas. Finally got around to trying a chicken kabob last time, and it was really very good as well. The sauce was excellent. We continue to be impressed by this place.
(5)Rachael C.
The pizza was fantastic! It was so delicious it made us cry. The perfect blend of awesome and heaven. The Nicola specialty pizza is to die for. They have a couple of small two seater tables and we chatted it up with the owner who was really friendly. As soon as we walked in he treated us like family. We live out of town, but we will definitely be back!
(5)Diana S.
The first time we ordered pizza, it wasn't bad. The second time, we didn't like it. Too thick crust, not baked enough and didn't care for the toppings which was half margarita & Italian sausage. Sorry!!
(2)pm p.
Absolutely delicious pizza. Crust is thin, chewy and cooked perfectly. Toppings are plentiful and not greasy at all. One of the best pizzas I've had in Dallas. Fast delivery, great service, and great food. Highly recommended.

So today I decided to walk to Bona pizza, seeing as it's literally across the street from where I live! I got just one "Sicilano" Calzone for $6.50 and it was delicious! It included Pepperoni, Italian sausage, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. The meat was amazing, and if you like cheese you will love it, it was overflowing with warm gooey cheese. Seeing as it's new and privately owned it's still pretty small but the food is great. The prices are very fair, you can get a nice sized salad anywhere from $3-8 dollars depending on the type. The calzones are $6.50-6.95, and the menu has a nice variety of items. The owner is very kind and chatty while you wait for your food- he even threw in two free drinks for me and my boyfriend. I will defiantly be back soon to try there pizza and subs! Some other things they have on there menu: Salads, Mediterranean specialties(hummus, Babaghooj, Dolmas, and Pita Bread), Pita wraps, Pizza Pies (create your own), Oven bakes subs, daily plate specials, and desserts.
(4)Terri M.
This is absolutely the best pizza delivery in Dallas. The cheese is amazing and the flavoring of the sausage is incredible. We branched out last time and tried the meatball sub and it was great also. We have ordered several times and the pizza has always arrived piping hot. We are addicted!

Updated 7-29: I was contacted by the owner of Bona Pizza and they definitely made the situation right for me and I'm happy to say that I will be returning in the future. The pizza is great and I loved the dressing on the house salad. Can't wait to try more menu items in the future. 7/27: Extremely poor service will lead me to never go back to Bona. I've had their pizza once before when someone brought the pizza to me. At that point I would have rated the food 3.5/4 stars. Tonight my experience was completely different. I called in an order and was told 20-25 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later to hear the chef talking about how they were busy but no mention of a delay when I paid for the order. Waited 40 more minutes for the order to be completed, and while they did offer a free water, I felt at that point something more could have been done. During the wait time the cook also got in a yelling match with the delivery driver, so that's something. Got the food home and started to eat the salad while my husband had a slice, and we discovered hair in both items. I called the store to complain, the cook answered and I asked about a partial refund. I was interrogated about how many slices were eaten (2) and was told there was no way he could give me anything back and hung up the phone. Maybe I was disconnected... But I doubt it based on the temper and attitude I saw from the cook with the delivery driver. Sorry to say there is no way I will be returning and will be looking for another pizza place in the neighborhood.
(4)Elizabeth M.
Very good calzone and a solid pizza. Cheap as hell considering the quantity and quality. Kicker is the owner, very friendly and excited for his business.
(5)Paula E.
Finally, a good place for this lazy Bluffview housewife to get a dang meatball sub and a decent pizza for take-out! I haven't picked up the orders yet (remember, I said I'm lazy) but hubby always comes back telling me how gosh darn nice the guy running the place is, and I listen to him tell me all that, while pigging out on the delicious hot food! Someone said that they use canned sauces, etc. Who doesn't, at this price point? And I'd like to buy some of the sauce cuz it's tasty-mungous! Tonight, my meatball sub was a tiny bit over-toasted, but it's because my husband was chatting up the guy and the food got left in the oven about a minute too long. The meatballs were still REALLY good, and I will definitely order again. Maybe tomorrow for lunch!
(4)Fredricka J.
I'm always excited to try to new pizza joints. I was driving by one day and decided I would try it out. The owner talked me out of the pizza and encouraged me to try the beef kabob pita wrap. I loved it! He was very friendly and talked to me the entire time while I waited. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be spreading the word about this small business owner...and of course the great food!
(5)Allison V.
The calzones at this place are unbelieveable - especially for the price. It is plenty to eat and full of amazing ingredients. The owner is amazing as well. He really cares that you enjoy his food and works hard to get things out quick. He has let me try the kabobs and they are great as well. My family orders his pizza as well and I think it is great too! So happy this place has opened up so close to my house.
(5)Wendi M.
Just tried this place & we may have found a new pizza spot! Pizza was loaded with toppings, full of flavor (almost a little TOO much on the spinach!), & had the perfect crust - a little chewy, a little crunchy. The owner is really nice. He was working by himself & my pizza wasn't ready when I went to pick it up, so he offered me a free soda while I waited. Don't let the fact that this place is next door to a somewhat sketchy liquor store stop you from giving it a try. You'll be glad you did!
(4)Cory S.
A friend and coworker who also lives nearby turned us onto Bona... thankfully. The location means it is a take out. or delivery. The menu is diverse.. the ingredients were top notch and the flavor was great! They delivered quickly, too! The only let down were the desserts, which were suggested. I'm sure they're not made in-house and they're not terrible, just not remarkable. We'll be ordering again!
(5)Kevin P.
Love this place! Owner is fantastic takes pride in his business. Everything is made from scratch and pizza is incredible.
(5)Letsbe H.
Food is good, but it's all canned--NOT fresh. I could make my own pestos and sauces and hummus too if I'm using ingredients from a can... The manager/owner/whomever is extremely rude. If you live in the neighborhood, you'll notice he's gone through 4 employees in the one month he's been open...what does that tell you? Beware, if you eat his food "you will get fat"--words quoted straight from the manager's mouth!
(1)Leslie C.
Love this pizza! They have wonderful service because they are passionate about their work and care about their customers. I like to pick my pizza up because I live close and they are so welcoming when I come in. Their options are different from any other pizza place in the Dallas area I have been to. The last pizza I had was the Portuguese which has a little bit of everything from bacon to eggs to peppers to Canadian bacon and more. Loved it! I really love their Sachertorte too! I wonder where they get it from. Highly recommend if you like raspberry with your chocolate. This is my new local pizza place (Bluffview area)!
(5)Steve K.
Great pizza, when you can get it. Pizza is always great, but they stop delivering at an unknown time prior to what's listed on their takeout menu. Called at 9:15 pm to order delivery and was told told they don't deliver now because they close in 15 minutes. Outside of the ridiculousness of closing at 9:30 pm on a Friday night is the fact that their takeout menu doesn't say when their cutoff is for ordering delivery. Maybe they should add that to their menu so customers don't waste their time. Lots of other options in the area that are open until at least 11 pm (even sushi delivery) so if it's after 8 pm you're probably better off choosing somewhere else to order from.
(3)Derek F.
Great pizza and wonderful staff! Always up for ordering a pizza and salad for the NBA Playoffs. If you like hummus, get it. It's actually really good!
(5)Shamekia W.
Pizza was delivered quickly than estimated time. It was fresh out of the oven. We ordered a 16" Classico. It was an overall good pizza with fresh toppings but it was definitely lacking flavor! It looked delicious but we were disappointed in the overall taste.
(3)Lisa P.
The best pizza found in north Dallas. Super nice staff. Clean. The pizzas flavor was the best. Chewy crust with just enough crunchiness. Great flavor in the sauce. The cheese and pepperoni, juicy but no grease running down your hand. Perfect!
(5)Anthony W.
The food is always fresh and delicious tasting - pizza and salads are very good!!! Delivery staff nice and fast.... I'd recommend the Marisole Pizza !
(5)Linda D.
Their pizzas are so authentic and flavor and their crusts are not too heavy or two doughy. They have just the right amount of crisp around the crust; however, pricing may be just a little bit on the high side. Service is always good; food is always great; prices a bit steep for pick-up.
(5)Jo Alice B.
Best pizza and phily cheese steak ever! You guys are the best ever! Makes me miss college in Beantown! Boston!
(5)Keith F.
DFW has no shortage of pizza, but we've had a hard time finding anything that isn't thin crust/woodfire-style. Don't get me wrong, there's a time and a place for it but sometimes we just wanna dive into a thick crust and eat our emotions away. After doing some research, Bona Pizza sounded like a promising change of pace and it definitely delivered. Well, actually we carried out but the pizza was good. The crust is awesome. Not true Chicago-style deep dish, but thicker than the other pies we've encountered in town. Sauce was good too, but it could have used a little more. I'll order extra sauce next time. Speaking of which, we will definitely order from these guys again. I'll do a little more pizza exploring in the meantime, but overall we were pleased with our experience. Super friendly service too, BTW.
(4)Brad S.
Just had Bona for the first time. The Classico was unreal good. All toppings taste nice and fresh, and they definitely don't skip on amount of toppings. This is probably the best pizza I've had in Dallas since moving here. Don't be fooled by the exterior, this place is the truth!
(5)Jessica M.
Delicious!! I had the carbonara pizza delivered. It came faster than expected. It was hot, flavorful, cheesy and yummy. Best I've had yet. I will definitely be ordering again!!
(5)Laura K.
Went there for our first time, and not only is the pizza amazing the service was fantastic! They are so nice. They had just cut open the juiciest watermelon when we walked in so they gave us two big junks. Definite recommend!
(5)Doug B.
My wife and I were a bit skeptical with this place due to it being attached to a gross gas station and having a giant metal sliding door for security but it's our new favorite pizza delivery. Some of their pizzas can be a little greasy, but they don't skimp on the toppings. We lovingly refer to it as "Boner" Pizza for obvious reasons. ;)
(5)Jeremy B.
Five stars just based on the pizza taste and quality. Modest place for take out or delivery. Staff was friendly and warm. Just passing through Dallas and wanted unique pizza experience. This place didn't disappoint in the slightest.
(5)Mike B.
Got delivery on a Sunday. Supposed to be a $20 minimum but they let me slide with $18. Took about 40 minutes to the medical district from the time I hung up. The delivery driver refused my tip since it was my first time ordering. Never heard of that before but it showed me that they really appreciate your business. Got a philly cheese steak, 12" pepperoni pizza, a coke and some chips for 18.55 delivered. All of the good was amazing. I would definitely recommend
(5)Robert C.
Greek salad, pepperoni pizza, and a quick delivery! This is a great pizza joint, it is buried in a corner next to a liquor store. Don't let that deter you. The ingredients seem fresh, but the crust is really what sets them apart. I highly recommend for delivery and I have never gone inside the location, it looks like it might fit 1-2 people.
(4)Matt T.
Amazing pizza!! My boyfriend and I ordered a Margarita pizza with the House Salad. The house salad was delicious. The dressing has mint, olive oil, and garlic. We are every bit!! The pizza was more than enough for two people and was perfectly cooked. High quality and hand tossed. Already planning my next order!! Great job Bona Pizza
(5)Jon W.
Come hungry!!!! Their pizza's are huge and tasty. Their wings are spot on as well. Staff are friendly!! Price is decent compared to what you are getting. Defo a favorite now! Glad I found Bona!
(4)Mike P.
Small little pizza place with great food. Love the pizza but the calzones were ok. They made a good effort by putting ricotta cheese in them but not quite great. Reviews are right though, very friendly staff. Overall best pizza I've had in Dallas.
(5)Alondra K.
We stepped out of our norm and ordered from a new pizza place. We had it delivered to the job. I must say that everyone enjoyed the pizza, the service was excellent and the staff made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable lunch including drinks! Bona did not disappoint. We found a new spot!
(5)Sant W.
Hidden gem! Authentic, really good pizza, attached to a gas station. Who would have thought it.. Has seating but it's better pizza to go.
(5)Jenna W.
This pizza is amazing! I have ordered several times and have never had any complaints about the food or service. The Quattro Formaggi is my favorite, but I also enjoyed the Carbonara and Margarita. Everything is always cooked perfectly and the ingredients taste fresh. Most pizzas here are made with the standard tomato sauce, while a few have a garlic oil base. Both are delicious! I definitely recommend Bona.
(5)Tom M.
This is my Bluffview neighborhood Pizza place and it's fabulous. The crust is not too thick and not too thin and the ingredients are super fresh! The first pizza we tried was BBQ Chicken and lately we've been stuck on Pepperoni and Mushroom. Crazy good! Highly recommend!
(5)Monie H.
I had the ARDALINO pizza (Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, baked eggplant slices, red onions, garlic, gorgonzola cheese & parmesan cheese) and it was delicious! The eggplant was crisp, as it should be on a pizza. It was not the least bit mushy! The other ingredients were nicely balanced and the sauce is very good. This spot is a "hole in the wall," but the pizza is so good, I consider it charming ;-) It's delivery & pick up only - no dining room. The staff was nice & friendly. I look forward to trying more pizzas and the calzones.....possibly even a dessert.
(4)M D.
I have waited for quite awhile to pen a review, procrastination, caution, whatever reason i have neglected to sing the praises of Bona. for over 9 months we have ordered take-away and delivery there has never.... i mean never, been an issue. They always get the order right always delivery supper hot and melty pizzas, always long before what they quote in delivery times. This pizza is killer, in all varieties, I like carnivore heavy toppings, wifey loves vegetarian pizzas, we always end up ordering 2 smalls that match our eating habits and have never been disappointed. Our go to used to be Marco's and Louie's for pizza, but we have ditched them and cravenly switched allegiances like a cheap politician. "pizza that makes all other pizza want to better pizzas..........."
(5)Paula S.
I had a pizza last night that was totally fabulous. It had Canadian bacon, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and extra cheese. What's even better is it reheated well the next day. The desserts here are awesome and reasonably priced. The sacher torte is yummy deliciousness. We also order from here quite a bit at work. Whenever they deliver to us they are always nice, friendly, prompt, and deliver a great product. Please give this place your business. They deserve it!
(5)Skeptical G.
I ordered at 5:20 on Sunday night and had a Carbonaro and a San Antonio delivered before 6. The crusts were perfect and the ingredients were fresh. nice people and delicious food.
(5)Tifna T.
I saw good reviews for Bona and I thought to try it. I checked it out during my lunch break because I was just craving really good pizza. I ordered for pickup, magherita pizza. And wow, it really touched the spot. It was delicious and fresh. Definitely a good place to buy pizza.
(4)Rae I.
We had the rosemary chicken pizza, sans mushrooms. When I ordered the guy on the phone had a hard time understand plain English but he got the order right so, no big deal. I was told that the pizza would take almost an hour but it arrived in about 35 minutes during prime dinner time hours. Impressive! The pizza arrived like it had just come from the oven! Cheese was melted perfectly, crust was firm, not soggy and also not terrible greasy (as pizza goes). We had enough pizza for dinner and some for lunch too. It reheats well, even after 2 days in the fridge. Excited to try more pizzas!! Highly recommend!!!
(5)Rachel L.
The Pizza is magic. Can't beat the quality for the price. Gryos, salads, sandwiches, hummus and more. Don't forget to tip the staff, they definitely deserve it!
(5)Zaid A.
Great pizza. Pleasant staff. We were looking for a place near the Flight Museum and came across Bona Pizza. Saw the nice reviews and decided to check it out. It's a small location mainly suited for takeout and delivery but the staff were super accommodating to my wife, son and I and made room for us. My wife and I had the Nicola pizza and it was awesome. They even had halal chicken. My son had 2 more slices than he usually eats so that in itself is a testimony to how good the pizza was. ;)
(4)Rashawn M.
Great pizza. The owner is really nice and the cheese taste great ' the best pizza I taste in Dallas
(5)Clair J.
Had delivered to our hotel when no one else was open on the 4th. No delivery charge and was prompt. We got a speciality pizza and a cheese. It was okay. Crust was buttery. I thought it had too much garlic and Italian seasoning though.
(3)Mica M.
Well well well.... I think I may have found a new pizza spot. Fresh toppings and great portions. This Classico (supreme) has sent me to the pizza pearly gates. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is the delivery man asking me to walk outside to find him bc I'm pregnant and I didn't want to move, thus me calling in a delivery order. The ingredients were fresh and the toppings werE NOT skimped out on thus making me and tummy baby very happy. Order this pizza and you will order again.
(4)Frank L.
I LOVE their pizza... I usually get a carbonara with anchovies. Great crust... generous topping (actually, a little too generous at times)... always fresh. Courteous staff led by their very friendly Brazilian owner. I usually pick up 'cuz its easier, but they have fairly quick delivery as well. I've only had their pizza but can't wait to try some of their sandwiches. It's a little hidden off the streets. It's on the side of a building and you will totally miss it if you come up Lovers from Lemmon. In any case, its totally worth a visit!
(5)Dallas G.
This is the best carry out I have found in the Dallas area! Homemade crust delicious sauce and fresh toppings. Plus the owner, BC, welcomes each and every customer into a store like they are his relative.. Try Bona Pizza, you won't be disappointed!
(5)Jon M.
If you're looking for a good gourmet pizza to go then this is the place! The place doesn't look like much from the outside and they don't have dine-in but this place has excellent food! There is roughly a dozen different specialty pizzas or you can order a simple one. They also have calzones, salads, subs as well as some Mediterranean items.
(5)Andrew T.
Very good. Work ordered in the supreme, ham and pepperoni, cheese, and margharita. Also. An order of cheese bread. All were really good. Seems like review of the day material to me.
(4)Greg D.
In town working at Love Field, was looking for something different. Got on YELP and found Bona Pizza. Read the reviews and figured it must have been family and friends that posted all of the positive comments. Figured what the heck. Drove there thinking I could sit down and enjoy lunch, but learned it is pretty much just a carry out and delivery place. No big deal... Ordered a 12" pepperoni and 2 diet Pepsis for about $10. went out to my car to wait and before I knew it, they brought it out for me. Headed back to work and I am eating it as I type. No fooling - pretty good pizza. Not super thin crust and not super thick. A tad light on the sauce, but plenty of cheese and pepperoni. I live in Las Vegas so I probably won't be ordering again, but if work brings me back, I will definitely order from Bona Pizza again.
(4)Rynn D.
We choose this place on a lark & the usual Greenville pizza options were falling flat. So impressed by our pizza, ordered the Nicola. Crust was full of flavor & crisp. The ingredients fresh; no complaints about our first experience. Most definitely will go back.
(5)J G.
I'm a thin crust guy. Cracker thin is even better. I like it when the toppings go all the way to the edge. The toppings are where all the flavors are and I don't like to get filled up on bread. Nevertheless, I tried Bona after reading reviews and hearing what people say around the neighborhood and I'm glad I did. The pizza was hot and loaded w/ flavor. I gave the crust to the dogs. I looked forward to trying their oven baked subs.
(4)Tim W.
Excellent pizza delivered to your door. The staff was very nice on the phone as was the delivery person. GOOD STUFF!!
(4)Brandi B.
This place was great! The BBQ pizza was amazing and the Olympia was delicious. Both were gone within minutes of getting it home. The service was quick and the staff was really nice and friendly. The two large pizzas were a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Quality way above regular delivery pizza. Will definitely be back to try the other items!
(5)Bj R.
Pizza is great!! Love the Greek pizza. Calzone was to die for. We have ordered food a dozen times and its always great!!!!
(4)Rob M.
Late night watching the Warriors game in the hotel getting ready for an early flight back to California, so we asked the front desk what is the best pizza that can be delivered to hotel. Glad the person at the desk knew what they were talking about. For $20 we got one of the best pizzas I've ever had...the "Carbonara". Great meats (the meatballs put it over the top), perfect thin, crunchy crust. Menu showed they serve a lot of other items and if they are as good as the pizza, then this place is a must try!
(5)M L.
Prompt pizza perfection! Holy cow I would have never thought to put curry on a pizza (Bona Karma) but it's spectacular! The 1/2 plain & 1/2 pep was also perfect. Arrived still hot with crispy crust. Devine. We'll order delivery again & it was so good we'd even be willing to leave the house to try it there.
(5)Bob P.
Arguably the best pizza in Dallas. Their calzones are incredible as well. For such a non assuming location, their professionalism and service is astonishing, and their food is amazing. I'm from NY, so I've had a variety of pizza's...this definitely ranks in my top pizzerias, and top 2 calzones in the world.
(5)Yvette M.
The place looked a little sketchy at night but the owner (I'm assuming he was the owner) was super nice and playful. Anyways got the Marisol Pizza, super freakin good!!!!! I also ordered the Greek Chicken Salad and was not disappointed! Definitely reminds you not to judge a book by its cover... Very impressed with the food. I think if I was a local, I would do delivery though.
(5)Matthew C.
Good food, very generous topping quantities, awesome people working there. A little hard to see from the road, it's behind the Wine store.
(4)M M.
Delicious. Really delicious, and that's coming from a self-professed NE born and raised pizza snob. Had the nicola, which was flavorful and satisfying. Also a more traditional pizza with sausage and black olives. Nothing skimpy about the amount of toppings on either pizza. Crispy crust. What more do you need? We will definitely be getting pizza here agin. Not a doubt in my mind.
(5)Kevin G.
Ordered a pizza after reading the reviews on yelp about a week ago. Didn't hit the 20 minimum but they still delivered fairly quick. The crust was thin but soft and they were very liberal with the toppings. The sauce was great also. Of note the delivery driver wouldn't let me sign for a tip, shows they actually like what they do. Would defiantly order again.

Picked up a 12 inch Classico (first time eating at Bona) and really enjoyed it. The toppings tasted fresh and there were plenty added. We also enjoyed the pizza was light on sauce. The cashier was friendly and the pizza appeared to be right out of the oven. We will definitely be back!

Pizza is super delicious but super greasy!

The food is decent, the service is the worst. I have not ordered from here where someone has not screwed up an order. Each time, the owner has blamed the screw-up on me, rather than his poorly trained, if well-intentioned help. Badly done.

Visiting Dallas for the weekend and was looking for a quick bite. Glad we stumbled onto this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside and inside there are only 2 small tables and 4 chairs. Despite all that we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Great crust with just the right contrast of crispness and chewiness. Sauce and toppings were on point, too. Prices were ridiculously reasonable for pizza of this caliber. Try getting a 12" pizza, 1 soda, and a bottled water for $14 at one of these Neopolitan-style, yuppy snobitoriums. Guys behind the counter were incredibly nice as well. I only wish we had a place like this back home in Houston.

We are new to the neighborhood and have been trying to find good pizza nearby. Bona delivered our pizza hot and very delicious! This will be our pizza delivery place of choice! The sausage was just OK -- the pepperoni was perfection! Very cheesy! YUM!

Excellent, fresh quality food! Huge portions. We've just discovered this place after driving by multiple times. Have ordered twice and will be ordering much more!

Best pizza ive had delivered in 10 years. I ordered the Carbona with extra sauce. The ingredients were fresh and the dough was delicious. Even though the meat was greasy-like a meat pizza should be-the crust was still tasty and wasnt oberwhelmed by the toppings. $16 is a bit pricey for a 12" pie, but atleast it was worth it.

This was my first time eating from here. I got the Classico Pizza delivered. The pizza was great and the delivery was fast. I'm not from around here and here on business. If I have to come back, I will order this again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have tried a few different things off the menu and it is all great! Beef Kabob, Pasano Calzone, Pizza Classico, Greek Chicken Salad, Hummus, and Babaghnooj are just a few of the things we have tried and it is all AMAZING! I would recommend any one in the Dallas area to try this place!

All I can say is wow! Well our truck broke down again. While sitting at the shop we got hungry. After looking on yelp we decided on pizza. The prices are really good. We decided on the carbonara pizza. After around 45 minutes the pizza arrived nice and hot. One bite and we knew we made the right choice! It was delectable!there is so much flavor. Overall a great value and very high quality!

I ordered for the first time and delivery was fast! They said 30 minutes and they came exactly to my door in 30 minutes. I tried to give the driver a great tip, but he didn't want it. He politely said "Thank you for you business." The pizza was hot and delicious. The best takeout pizza I have ever had. I got the margarita pizza and it was very cheesy filled with deliciousness.
