All Star breakfast. You have to get it. 1 big waffle, bacon/ham/or sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns or grits, toast, and a drink. 7 bucks. Get your waffle with peanut butter chips for an extra quarter. Waffle House isn't very big or particularly clean and your hair will probably smell like cigarette smoke after you leave but believe me, the food is fast, cheap, and GOOD. I've been to this location four times and never been disappointed.

Waffle House is one of my favorite places to go for a late night snack. I love their waffles and hash browns and when I'm in the mood to WT-it-up, you can find me at a Waffle House somewhere in the metroplex. :) I've been to this location a few times now and, overall, my experiences have been pretty average... you have the typical drunks and what not, but that make for even better people watching, right? But our most recent visit was probably our last at this location. The staff out numbered the customers, by far - yet we had a hard time finding a table because they were unclean. Most had not been bussed yet or they appeared sticky. Yet the staff was crowded around the "bar" area topping a cherry pie for their own consumption and never once offered to clean a table or point out a clean one or acknowledge the mess in any way. Our waiter came and took our order before he enjoyed his pie, but we had to wait on him while he visited and ate his pie with his friends. Their conversation wasn't the most appropriate for a work place with customers around - and yes, I realize that it's a Waffle House, not Del Frisco's...I get it, but come on. Use some sense in mixed company.

If it weren't for "southern hospitality" I would never eat here. You get exactly what you pay for. Breakfast was cheap, monetarily and quality. Most Americans would consider the portions small but they are actually appropriate for good health. The real reason for the rating is that the preparation looks like the price. The appearance and flavor were both unappetizing.

Love, love, love Waffle House! Cheap food, fantastic coffee, and great people-watching. Most people gush over OldWest Cafe and IHOP across the highway, but my family likes WH better! Hardly any wait. Nothing fancy, but it's sure yummy!

This Waffle House has pretty good reviews, considering its a Waffle House. I think that we as Americans know exactly what to expect from one, so I'll never understand a 1 star review that complains about the smell of stale cigarette smoke or that they couldn't find enough empty seats for their group at 3 in the morning on a Saturday. It's Waffle House! They're definitely reliable (in the sense that you know what you're walking in to no matter the date or time), they serve simple/oily/satisfying breakfast foods for consistently low prices, and they have an ultra casual-everyone's in their pajamas sort of atmosphere. An always tiny, not exactly sparkling clean or updated, 24 hour diner with a few tired chefs and a relatively apathetic staff. And that's what we've all come to love about Waffle House. That same ol' familiar, kind of yellow-tinted, coffee and bacon grease scented, comforting environment. And the hash browns. And the waffles! This location was closest to me growing up, and I've found myself back here a couple times. When it's late and you're starving and you want to watch someone cook for you, this is obviously the place to go. I don't care how oily the hash browns are where their produce comes from, but I'll always enjoy them smothered, peppered, and capped. Plus you can never go wrong with a couple over-medium fried eggs and bacon. I used to eat the waffles before I was gluten free and OMG, I'd be so happy if I could have one again. I remember them being perfect every time... So sweet and buttery and fragrant. Well now I'm sad. Waffle House is nothing extraordinary and they're not getting any extra credit for phenomenal taste, plating, or creativity - but it'll always be there for me and they rarely disappoint.

First time eating at Waffle house ever! I first heard of waffle house back at home in LA when I was playing softball. The guy i was playing with saying Waffle house is soo good, better then Ihop, and Dennys. I flew out from LA to Dallas last weekend, and the morning before I left I went to Waffle house with my cousin! Wow this place was good! really good! I got the All star special which is eggs, toast, hash browns, waffle and sausage! I got a special hash brown with there special chili omg that was scrumptious! And I made an egg sandwich with sausage using the Toast! Everything was good! I also go the waffle strawberry and man that was good! So much foood for $7.00. This breakfast definitely stuck to my ribs untill I landed back in Cali! Anytime and everytime I go back to Dallas I will get me some Good O Waffle house! OHH and its funny on the reviews they say the waitress are very nice but they all have 1 tooth lol which is True! - Eat Some!
