Pappa's restaurants are always high quality food. I don't remember ever having a bad meal at any of their locations and this one is no exception. I recently had a fish plate...don't remember what it was called, but it came with spaghetti squash and it was great! A short piece of French bread comes before the meal to get you ready for some good eating. As an appetizer, I really like the coconut shrimp. Very crunchy and full of flavor from the coconut shavings. This specific location suffers right now due to the highway construction. It's difficult to get here, so be prepared for a possible re-route if you're using GPS.

Crawfish is officially back at pappadeux! I look forward to this every year! Their crawfish is done with a delicious dry rub and comes with potatoes and corn. If you don't come Monday/Tuesday (crawfish specials) it's about $7-8 a pound. Anything else you get here is good. There is also complimentary bread as well. My favorite dish, which is not on the menu is the crawfish trio. It comes with fried crawfish, crawfish étouffée, and another crawfish mini entree. This is enough to share with 2-3 ppl! It's large and super delicious! I love pappadeux and it's my go to for good seafood.

I would give 4 star for food as always excellent..the waiter was serving us and talking over his shoulder to someone else..never made eye contact.

I had their fried oysters plate with French fries for $19. I wasn't happy with the amount of oysters on the plate since I paid $19 and it didn't have the value for the money I expected. I had lots of fries and couldn't finish them all. The oysters were okay but overall I was disappointed with this place as it supposed to be famous for their seafood. They also didn't have in stock the oatmeal stout beer which I feel is sloppy for a big chain upscale restaurant.

Its cold in the bar now...I remember enjoyong a cold martini in a warm bar before christmas shopping for several years...it is NOT tbe same, I told the bartender it was cold and he said "I know"...guy beside me eating with his winter coat on. This is not a typical pappas restaurant..im freezing my azze off eating....im sure the wait staff are comfortable. But cmon. I ordered a dozen raw and its been so long I ordered a wedge salad for the wait... 6 months ago, they would have served oysters a little classier than today, salt, pepper, crackers, hot sauce...now they just "dump and run"..I had to ask for everything...I guess the spoiled me all these years? I would not bring a customer here. Go to another Pappas.... AMATEURS in fine dining now. There use to greet you by name introductions, and level 100 service here...dont expect it now. I saw Joe the bartender from here last year at Quick Trip and still new his name from the intro and excellent service... Service is below par now...less than chilis or applebees, food is grade A, always great..never got a sub par meal in 20 years..thats gonna get them 2 stars. I LOVE everything about this place except the chattering teeth cold, and the service...management and sevice has got to improve.

This is one of our favorite places. I've been to many different locations and have had great meals and service at all. Food is always fresh and seasoned well. I can't even name a favorite dish because they're all good. I've had the talapia, oscar, mahi, king crabs, lobster... This is definitely a place to treat yourself. ..and we all deserve it ;-)

Excellent atmosphere, great service, nice dinning area. Bit pricey, but worth it for special occasions, loved the food. Salmon, Mahi Mahi were top notch, Calamari and Alligator were super awesome appetizers. We also ordered Strawberry and Mango lemonade & love them both. The portions were quite generous & salad was filling.

I've been here a few times and the service was some of the best I've gotten at any restaurant. The wait staff made sure I had an excellent dinning experience. They were attentive enough to meet all my dinning needs, but not too much to annoy me. I got the half order of King Crab and it was cooked to perfection. I've never made that claim in a review before. Too many places over cook it and it's like trying to eat a rubber chicken. I will definitely be back on my return to the Dallas area.

Pappadeaux is a chain of seafood restaurants with a Cajun flair. They are everywhere in DFW, and when I lived in Dallas I drove (actually, rode my ten speed) past them all the time but never had the money to go inside. So it's nice to come back to Texas with my collar popped and swag into all the places I would have been thrown out of as a teenager. Despite the fact that this is a chain, and furthermore one far inland, the seafood here is as good and fresh as what you would expect to find on the Oregon coast. Cajun batter doesn't hold oil the way beer batter does, so the fried catfish is crispy and flavorful without leaving you feel like you are sweating butter from every pore. I got the Pappadeaux platter, which is a plate the size of a shield covered to overflowing with various battered and fried foodstuffs. There were two crabs that had been broken in half, had their guts scooped out and mixed with cornmeal and spices, then stuffed back into the shell and the whole shebang battered and deep fried. There were dozens of fried shrimps and pieces of crawfish. There was a ball of ground something mixed with something else, battered and deep fried so it was crispy on the outside but gooey in the middle . . . it was like a hush puppy made out of lobster bisque, I don't know. There was some kind of seafood turducken: shrimp mixed with crawfish wrapped inside an oyster and stuffed into a crab cake or something like that I am not sure because I ate it too fast. We got a couple of appetizers. We had seared ahi which was incredible, incomparable: a perfect sear on the outside, cold and raw in the middle, the texture of high test filet mignon, the taste set off by oil and vinegar and ginger. Then we had gulf oysters. Those were OK. Honestly I think Oregon oysters are better. The gulf oysters were a little gamey, and had a lot of ice on them probably because they had a long trip to make before trying to pass themselves off as fresh. How could they possibly be fresh? They were good but . . . maybe I am biased. At the end of the meal we had key lime pie. It was a good key lime pie. I don't think you can get decent key lime pie outside of the south; I have certainly never had it west of the Rockies. The best: they have Shiner Bock on tap. The waiter asked me if I wanted a small or a medium. It occurred to me later that the names of those two sizes imply that there is a large as well. Next time I am getting large. But I didn't notice that when on the spot, so I asked for a medium. It was huge - a great glass goblet heavy enough to cave someone's skull in with, like a heavy fish bowl full of frothy brown beer and mounted on a pedestal. I had two.

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and used to eat at one in Houston. Absolutely superb!!! Service is great, food is great. Would probably eat here more often but it is pricey. But with that being said you get what you pay for and that is great food!!!!

Have been coming here for yrs Walked in sat down, knew exactly what we wanted, waited 20 min till drinks were delivered , another 35 min til food arrived, one order was wrong, and the other was not a quality dinner, not worth 89.00, hope its a rare case, but worst dinner I've ever had there , and for sure not worth 89.00

Ate here recently after not being here for awhile. Still enjoyed it. Still pretty much the same. First off, I always try to find someone to share the amazing Greek salad with me because I like it so much. Yesterday I got 3 others to share a salad for 2. Plenty for all although we had to split up the two shrimp. Hot sour dough bread and butter are especially good. Water with lemon fine. Each of us also enjoyed the luncheon gumbo and po boy combo. My seafood gumbo was good - large plump oyster buried in there. Only a cup but very filling. After the gumbo and salad, I could not begin to finish my catfish po boy so I took most of it home. The front room can be noisy if crowded which it often is. If you want to enjoy a more serene experience, there is a smaller back room with booths that is far more peaceful. If you are lucky and one is available, you can request to sit back there. In the past, I've enjoyed many of their other seafood specialties. I prefer the simpler preparations to their more gussied up (and expensive) offerings, but if sauces and fancier preparations are your thing, there are plenty of choices.

SO I can't say too much about Pappadeaux that hasn't been said. I love the seafood fondue. I love happy hour. I love the service...everyone always seems so nice. But it's just ok because I know what true Louisiana comfort style food taste like because of my Madea :) They accommodated Baby Preston just fine also!!

Very pricey for the quality of the Food!! I felt like a drive thru seafood place would have been of better quality! Only one side French fries- 2.95$ plus to substitute sides. Drinks ridiculous!! Would not recommend!

Oysters. Fried alligator tails. Shirley Temple. Ohmylawd. Came here tonight for a nice evening out for some delicious seafood with my husband, uncle and the rest of our family. We started our meal off with fried alligator tails with the spiciest, most delicious sauce I've ever had. This was my first time to try alligator and I was enthralled with how deliciously good it was. Not weird or chewy. Just delicious. MUST try! The oysters were fresh and came chilled with plenty of lemons and horseradish sauce to place on top of the monster oyster/lemon/cracker trio. Perfecto'. I ordered the Big Bay Platter with butter stuffed shrimp, grilled shrimp, and some of the best fried crawfish I have ever had. Seriously, I had no complaints. Even the green beans were cooked and seasoned so well. My husband had the Mahi Tuna Steak, and had it guzzled in minutes. My only complaint at this restaurant was the extremely cramped quarters. I couldn't even turn my head without running face-first into someone's hind quarters. The restaurant either needs to be expanded, or the tables need to be rearranged. I would suggest calling and making a reservation. We were in 15 minutes early and got to cut right into the line and were seated shortly. Love this place. Will definitely be back!

Pricey, but that seems to be expected when talking about seafood. With all the construction on 183, it seems to have the crowds under some control. We experienced no wait on a Saturday night, but do go ahead and call to make a reservation. $3.95/dozen gulf oysters were awesome. Tasted fresh and oh so, oceaney. Looking back, I should have just made a meal out of these. My grilled costa rican mahi was good, but I asked for the 7 oz and received and was charged for the 11 oz. I'm not really good with guessing weight. I would have been better off with the smaller size and somewhat smaller price tag since I'm not keen on left over fish. (Don't even want to imagine that smell surfacing out of the microwave) But the grits, the green beans and the accompanying sauce were all tasty eats. They are really easy on the subs here, as my boyfriends crab came with pasta and they brought him out a huge portion of mashed potatoes instead. With having a seafood adverse boyfriend, my trips to seafood themed restaurants remain rare, but I'd keep pappadeaux in rotation.

Went here on Memorial Day. Not crowded-seated right away. Ordered drinks once waitress finished delivering something to her big party. Had to ask for lemon and straws when she came back by. No bread arrived so we had to ask for that too. The bread wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I ordered catfish filets, my son got fried alligator and my husband got sampler platter. They have changed serving plates from the large ones they used to use to smaller more "normal" size which is ok since i never ate all those fries however I had to put my fish on my bread plate in order to cut it. Flavor of fish was good but the breading was not crunchy and had too much pepper. My husband and son had no complaints with their food. When you spend close to $70 incl tip for lunch, you expect a little better.

I usually don't seek out chain restaurants but I make an exception for Pappadeaux. Their raw shucked oysters were fresh and generously sized. The boudin was a-ok. For lunch I recently had the blackened mahi mahi with lump crab meat and cheese grits. The fish was done and seasoned perfectly, and the cheese grits were indulgently rich. You will have to fight your way through the construction, but Pappadeaux is a treat for lovers of cajun and seafood.

Ok... I'm gonna be honest... I love the oysters when they are 3.75 a dozen. However... All the other fish shrimp etc is bland. No flavor. Étouffée is yummy tho. During happy hour it's even better.

This particular location is marvelous! Sit at the bar, order a beverage and enjoy people watching. Service there is excellent and people are super friendly. I picked up food to go and waited at the bar to have a swamp thing. Just one of these and you are GOOD! Trust me. Intense. Anyway, get the bowl of their spicy gumbo. Best $10 you will ever spend on this side of town. I only wanted andouille sausage and shrimp and they gave it to me without charging extra. Plus it comes with a big ole hunk of sourdough bread and butter. Yum!

Just went to Pappdeaux's on a Sunday. Even though their menu online says every day lunch special, I was told Sunday is not a day. Ordered the Catfish 2 piece dinner with a cup of gumbo. Gumbo came out first, with 2/3's of the meat/seafood ingredients added to the dish afteer cooking. Was told the same gumbo for seafood is used for the added shrimp and sausage. I asked the bartender which gumbo would be the best, since the top three were the same price. Catfish was on the dark side, but hot. Chris Pappas, is this a travel stop or a destination? The overpriced Beer was good, though!

I LOVE Pappadeuxs, but my coworkers and I had the worst service today. It took us 25 minutes to get bread, my drink was spilled all over our side of the table, and we didn't get our checks until 2 hours after we arrived (having been ready to order as soon as we walked in the door). We were frustrated that the waiter (whose tag read "Trainer") never came out to apologize for the wait or check on us. We had planned to return Tuesday with a 16+ group, but the delays and service today were inexcusable. We'll go somewhere else.

This restaurant is not as insanely noisy the one in Dallas, but it is really busy and the services was excruciatingly slow The food tastes really good so no complaints there. The seafood gumbo, mixed sausage and seafood gumbo is great. They were so busy that by the time my lobster got there it was cold and not very good, it looked like it'd just sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to pick it up. Eventually, after 2 hours I was ready to get the heck out of there, and I told the waiter that I realized he was busting his butt but I wasn't goin to be back. He went and got a supervisor. Quentin M. who told me he'd do whatever I wanted to rectify the situation, I said, no I just want a check -- he offered me a dessert, so I said what the heck and got the bread putting and it was pretty much the best I ever had, plus he came by and presented me with a gift box with a beautiful note card and gift certificate; I used it right then and there and went away from the whole experience thinking "now that's a SAVE..." I was prepared to leave there and be totally irritated and dissappointed with the situation. Instead, I gave the waiter a good tip basd on the original bill and left knowing that if I were ever in the area again, I'd give them another try. Way to go Pappadeaux.

This place was amazing. The staff were as friendly as they could be. it was the first time I have been to a Pappadeaux's. Our waitress told the manager on duty and she came over to welcome us and comped our appetizer. Sweet! Our meals were fantastic. My husband ordered the Salmon steak with a creamy corn relish. It was cooked to perfection. He still hasn't stopped talking about it a week later! I had the Mahi Alexander...loved this dish. We will definitely be visiting this location again very soon!

First time we visited family after my husband and I married, my parents took us to Pappadeaux in Arlington Texas. I don't remember much about the food, I was a silly young bride and can only recall that special day, not what I ate. My husband states that he wasn't impressed but he would change his mind once we made it back for a second look. Since then, we don't have one of these in Vegas (very sad about that) we have made it a point of eating at Pappadeaux whenever we come across one. Since we were home for the holidays and they have now put a restaurant closer to my parents, we decided to have dinner and pick up some gift cards to share with family. We didn't have much of a wait, this was a surprise because most of the time, if you don't come early or late night, you will be waiting for a table for some time. We knew we'd try the Pappadeaux Oysters they are always good. This is crab meat, spinach and hollindaise sauce. I also got the Costa Rican Mahi La Fourche, this was Pan seared mahi with lemon crab butter, cheddar cheese grits with andouille sausage & brussel sprouts with applewood smoked bacon. It was delicious! I think the consistency of their food and the great service ensures that your meal will be a pleasing event. I really enjoy eating here and have not been disappointed yet.

Poor service. Only checked on twice from hello to here's your check. No refills. Outdated decor. Restaurant smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Product was far from fresh and prepared very sloppily. I spent the majority of my time picking the shells from my stuffed shrimp out of my teeth. Always fun! There will be no next time, sorry.

Every time I come to Dallas, I eat here because I love seafood. While the average entree is $25-30, I have always been happy with all my dishes. Most people come here for the alligator tenders. As they say, it tastes like chicken. The entree portions are perfect for the hungry, and leftovers for the average. Tonight, I ordered the crawfish platter, which was a fried crawfish, crawfish étouffée, and dirty rice. The étouffée was excellent with flavor and a little heat. My colleague had the seafood mixed grill which were two huge skewers of seafood and veggies on top of a bed of dirty rice. If you can get past the price, I would recommend this place. Yes, it is a chain, but a 4 star chain.

Excited to see a new item macadamia crusted halibut. What a disappointment. My fish had no macadamia crust. All the macadamia I got was 1 1/2 macadamia nuts. Prices are very high and service was not good. We had a trainer for a waitress. She took forever to get us refills, never checked to see if food was ok. Won't go back to this location. And it was 4:00 Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was not busy. No excuse.

very, very loud. Food was good; Way overpriced. I was really surprised many entrees came with only one side; dirty rice. There is an up-charge to change the side. a glass of wine was $12. I'm pretty sure I can buy an entire bottle of the same wine for that price. a domestic beer was over $6. Really?

The food and service here is amazing. It's a little pricey so its great to go every once in a while. The only thing I hate is that it sits in the middle of a major highway construction. You literally have to drive over gravel just to get there. Hope the construction will finish soon.

My husband and I went here last night for dinner and the food was so good. The food is pricey but it is worth every penny. The last time we visit here was for our wedding rehearsals 4 years ago. I ordered the Tilapia Costa Rican and it was so good, my husband ordered the Cheesy Grits and Shrimp he said it was okay but he probably wouldn't ordered it again. Overall we enjoyed the food.

oh i LOVE this place! it's my first time to dine at Pappadeaux though i heard it's quite famous especially in Dallas.... i love cajun food, and i am glad i found a good one that i'd come back and visit whenever i go to Dallas again! (or TX overall? god knows when though.......................) i had shrimp entouffee which was EXCELLENT! i wished i could finish the whole dish but we ate lots appetizers and i drank a lot so.... too bad.... for appetizers we had some oysters (yummy), calamaris and also tried the fried alligators (yummy too!!!), wish i had another stomach so i could try the gumbo and the boudin... :( hm, i didn't pay so not sure about the price... shouldn't be too bad though based on the $$$ you see on the menu, right? LOVE IT!

I love to come here for a decent casual dinner. I've been here many times for a semi-casual bite to eat. Usually I'll just grab a table in the bar area, and the service is always very prompt. I never really like to give a chain restaurant the benefit that they received my approval, but this place does it for me. I enjoy the convenience knowing that they're open fairly late, and I can always grab a bite. I typically go during the week, so I never have a problem getting sat right away. I wouldn't make this my Friday or Saturday night out to eat, and get corralled through with all the other folks. If you're looking for a quaint place to grab a bit with a companion at any given time, then you have it right here. Price can be a little give or take. You can go and gouge yourself on $3.95 dozens of oysters, shrimp tails, and pounds of craw fish. You can also get the $50 Surf & Turf. I think either one is worth it, so it really depends on what kind of meal you want to make it.

I really like Pappadeaux. Anytime I have a craving for some shrimp fondue or crab boil, they are consistently kicking out Louisiana style comfort food. I always try to get the fondue and something new. If it's not the mixed grill then they always have a special - blackened this, or smothered that. Always always delicious. Note: The only problem I have with this Airport Freeway location is the flies. Whats with the flies in the restaurant? I guess Im not the only one who likes the food here. :)

I'm not a huge fan of chains but I LOVE Pappadeaux! The oysters here are so incredible. They are a must if you even remotely like oysters. They come freshly shucked with all the fixings (lemons, horseradish sauce and a neat Asian dipping sauce). The seafood gumbo is all seafood! The lobster salad is very fresh tasting with a great mix of seafood and greens. Very divergent!

I was in a rush, on my way to work, I needed quick lunch, and this place was close... I walked in and let the hostess know that I wanted to be in and out quick, that was my only requirement... They delivered, and they delivered so much more then I ever expected! I almost always order an Arnold Palmer, for those of you who don't know this is half unsweetened ice tea and half lemonade, theirs was perfect, seems easy but this simple drink gets messed up more often then not! Promptly drinks were ordered, bread was delivered, warm wonderful bread with fluffy whipped creamy butter...hmmmmmmm I ordered a cup of gumbo and the naked salmon with green beans... Before I was finished with my warm bread a delightful cup of gumbo was in front of me, packed with shrimp, lump crab and andouille sausage, it just blew my mind, it was truly rewarding bite after bountiful bite! And bing bang boom, just as I was thinking darn here is the bottom of the gumbo cup, here comes a perfectly prepared filet of salmon that I was enamored by... Perfectly prepared, and I do mean perfect, a lil crisp on the outside and flaky and beautiful throughout! I could have almost cried, this was quickly delivered, perfectly prepared, what an outstanding meal! Why had I not dined at one of these places sooner, that was the big question, I am told there are a couple in the Chicago suburbs, let me tell you they have big shoes to fill! I will be back again if I am in the area, until then here is to hoping that all in this family of restaurants deliver such high quality service and food! 5 stars for sure!

I use to be obessed with Pappadeaux but since it is right up the street I don't see what the fuss is about. Everything is $$$$. I got an order of Asp. spears for $4.00 and only got four stocks! I'm sure I will be back but will have to have a special reason.

My wife and I hadn't been in to this location in a long time. don't really remember why. We went in 3 weeks ago and have been back each week since. The service and food have been terrific each time. It is so easy to mess up seafood by overcooking, I agree with Weston's compliment "the food is cooked perfectly." I just love it when we go into a restaurant that is being run very well and this one is. Our compliments to all involved. We appreciate everything you are putting into this location.

I'm not sure how it happened, but the bartender here got this California girl to try gator!!! I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily an adventerous eater, but the gator cooked cajun style (his suggestion) was delicious! I also tried the shrimp gumbo, and the shrimp étouffée over dirty rice (the rice was also his suggestion). Everything I tried was perfectly cooked and were great recommendations from the staff. The menu has a large selection of cajun items to satisfy any curious It's a busy restaurant, but if you can find a seat in the bar you'll skip the wait! I was so impressed with the meal that I even went to the location at DFW on my way out of Texas! Now only if they would open a location in my neck of the woods....

Went for a client-dinner, so had an opportunity to try a few different appetizers. The shrimp fondue is good, though the boiled crawfish was amazing. For a smaller group, this could easily be a meal on to itself. The real fight will be over the corn-on-the-cob that they boil with all the spices. Absolutely amazing! For the entree, not that I needed it, I got a bowl of the andoullie sausage gumbo and the greek salad. Both were amazing, though I'll probably only order a cup of gumbo next time, due to size. Only complaint is around the fishbowl beer mugs. The design makes for a major condensation issue, causing the table to be constantly soaked. A trip to one of the Pappas Brothers restaurants always completes my trips to Dallas.

Great menu and service. I ordered the softshell crab with fries. Probably the best I've had. As for dessert, I had a pecan pie with ice cream as my server suggested and it was delicious! I came here from California for business and ate by myself, but Elizabeth was kind enough to be great company while waiting for my meal. Definitely made my dinner enjoyable. Will be trying the crayfish next time i'm in town.

Arrived Sat night about 6:50. Was told there would be a 25-35 min wait. Finally seated at 7:50, so the wait was twice as long as indicated. The server came and took our drink and starter order. He disappeared and a short time later came back to verify the drink order and asked again if we wanted a starter. I looked at him and asked if he didn't remember the order I had placed. OK so we get past that. The Pepper crusted Ahi tuna was well presented and tasty. My wife ordered the Pappadeaux Platter, a generous portion of assorted fried fish, shrimp, and crawfish along with a crab cake and stuffed crab. I ordered the soft shell crab served over a bed of dirty rice. My wife had no complaints. My complaint is that the crabs were limp and chewy instead of being nice and crisp. They were barely edible. The server did comp a desert, but that did not overcome the lackluster service and food. I wanted to give 2 1/2 stars but don't know how.

For the price they charge, the quality of food sure is pretty awful. Their bacon shrimp was over fried and way too salty. The catfish was tasted awful. Well, not so much that it was awful, it tasted a bit like a bland cardboard. Their lobster tastes a bit like rubber. Their fries are so salty, that water becomes the main dish than just a drink on the side. Everything (most) is just fried. Tara M. probably did a great job wrapping this place up. I'll just refer you to her review for the rest.

The food's good, but it's nothing like the real thing from a mom and pop eatery in Baton Rouge or New Orleans or, hell, my Louisianan inlaws. In any case, their oysters on the half shell are gorgeous and delicious creations indeed. I had the King Salmon Florentine dish the last time I was there and it was very good but a tad salty. The caesar salad was nice and crisp with big honkin' slices of parmesan cheese. Tasty! The sourdough bread and soft butter are big hits with my family and me. Husband had the Chilean sea bass and said while it was good he wished he could taste more of the fish and less of whatever creamy sauce they put on it. I think next time we go there I'll get one of the "naked" fish. Besides loving the name, I'm looking forward to tasting the fish more and less of the sauce that's globbed on top.

I went on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar to just have water and an entree. One bartender was friendly and they did have ok service. The place was nice and not busy. The Hawaiian Yellowfin was good but those green bean frits are great!

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants with formulas and line cooks, but I was invited here for a business dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my meal. I had the cedar plank salmon and was impressed that it was seasoned and not overcooked. My friend gave me a taste of the Alaskan Halibut piccata, perfect also. I was surprised because the two other occasions I tried Pappadeaux I ordered fried food, it was OK, but not great. I enjoy the taste of fresh fish and don't feel the need to hide it under batter. I would go back and skip the fried for the grilled fish.

We're in from Tulsa visiting family and just had to visit Pappadeaux's since we have none in Oklahoma. We had 7 people in our party and were seated promptly. Our waiter Zach was the best, he took care of us like we were his only customers. Appitizers, delicious, main course even better. Salmon, shrimp, lobster, crab cakes all wonderful. My Sister and Brother n Law were having there 33rd wedding anniversary. They even brought a complementary desert for them, everyone was so nice. If you don't eat here you're missing a great dinner and experience. I will come here every chance I get. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

We went to the one in FT.Worth Sat. for lunch. I had the pan grilled tilapia topped with toasted hazelnut & brown butter sauce. This was the best fish I ever ate. The flavor was magnificent. I wanted to savor every bite. We sat on the beautiful patio it felt like you were in the tropic's. The beer was nice & cold like beer should be. I can't wait to have that meal again. It was under $10.00 on the lunch menu.If you like fish you have t try this meal..

I love Pappadeaux's. It has some of the best seafood around. The fried shrimp and sauces for the fish are the best I've tasted. The Greek salad is so good that even my veggie-averse daughter orders it. We both love the bread pudding and I LOVE the sweet potato pecan pie. However, what is it with the prices-6.25 for a cup of gumbo? At least the Swamp Thing had alcohol in it and took my mind off the huge bill- sort of.

The food wasn't mesmerizing because I don't remember what I had. I do remember having a great waitress to serve us though and i also remember having a big bill to pay. I think i could find a better seafood restaurant for the price I paid. I guess I have to go back one day to try it again to see if it leaves a better impression on me.

This location Pappadeaux is horrible. I recommend the Fort Worth location. They are consistently good. Ordered Scallops Lacombe at FW Pappadeaux and it was spectacular, next week had same dish at Bedford Location....looked like a total mess didn't even taste the same...overcooked and had to spit one of the scallops into my napkin because it tasted bad. You know when you've had bad seafood.

After many years of eating here and always getting excellent service - we had the most bizarre and overall bad experience here last night. We arrived on a Saturday before 6PM with a 1.5 hour wait for a party of 5 adults 3 kids. Fine we changed our plans a bit and went across the HWY to Harris Hospital to visit my Sister and new baby Niece - instead of after dinner. We were finally seated at 8:45 in a horrible corner. My Daddy, nephew and I were sharing some dishes and went to sit down with my Daddy at the head of the table and me next to him - after realizing that the chair I planned to sit in was wedged up against a column and there was no way I could squeeze into the chair I had to ask my Nephew to move over (into that chair) then had to ask everyone else on the way to my seat to get up since the table was smashed between the wall and the table at the other end (by the way the only person that could fit in the seat at the other end of the table was my 5 year old niece since it was touching the guy at the end of the table next to us) The appetizers came out quickly - the raw oysters were excellent and the shrimp was good but not the best. Forty Five minutes later (9:30) our food finally comes out after the 5 & 7 year olds have already fallen asleep. The food that we finally got was served to the wrong person - no big deal since we were sharing most of the entrees family style. Everything was excellent as usual until the waiter brought out the Greek Salad for 2 that is mixed table side that my Sister and her Husband were sharing and had expected before their main meal. My Sister RE-reminded the server that her Hubby is VERY ALLERGIC to shellfish before he mixed the salad and to only add the shrimp to her salad. He mixed the salad up then added a portion to each plate then used the prongs to add the shrimp to one plate then picked it up from that plate and added it to the other - WTF are you trying to kill my Brother In law???? Thank goodness my Mother and I both saw this or we would have had another family member to visit in the hospital... After he screwed up he hastily brought our check and to go boxes for the sleeping kids without even asking if we wanted dessert. After he walked away with my Brother Inlaw's"s cc card my Bro In law said "would anyone like dessert or another drink?" Nothing was taken off the tab or comped - for possibly killing my Brother In law after it was repeatedly expressed that he could not be served anything touched by shellfish. If this was my first visit here I would never return - on behalf of my Daddy who loves the food here I hope it was an isolated experience. Oh and it was SO LOUD my Sister and I had to repeat everything that wast was being said on one end of the table to the other..... Last night the food got 4.5 stars and 1 for over all experience.

I have only been here once but I thought it was pretty good, mondays and tuesdays they have a 3.95 per lb deal on crawfish and the same price for a dozen oysters. Monday was carazay packed, it took about an hour to get a table and when we sat down we were told NO MORE CRAWFISH LEFT, but the bartenders were cool, tried to make all the drinks I asked for(michelada), and oysters there are pretty big and clean, will probably stop by again...

Went to eat dinner there on ash Wednesday. Went alone , since im away on business. Was seated within 5 minutes, since I called ahead for reservations. My mistake was to order every what I wanted when the waitress came. I thought , hey better to get it over with. Big mistake. I ordered the crab cakes.....very good.....im not even done and the salad comes.....I'm not even done with the salad...and the entree.....that's right......shows up. Unbelievable!!!!! Boy oh boy.....everything was tasty......but I'm sooooo bloated.....WTF !!!! What was it? My fault for saying " I'll have this, that,n that" I don't remember ever telling the waitress I wanted all the food now......boy I learned my lesson. I will never ever order,no matter how hungry I am, dinner like that. I order the ap, then eat it . I'll order the salad......then eat it.......then after I'm eating the salad, I'll order the main course......sheeesh! I know I'm not in new York, but come on!!!!!

What impressed me: - LARGE portions of perfectly seasoned and grilled seafood. - The crab and shrimp ceviche was scrumptious! Served in a large fluted cocktail glass it could easily make a filling meal - especially with the crusty crunch-chewy fresh baked French bread. - The massive "skewers removed before serving" was about fourteen inches of grilled shrimp, scallops, salmon and crisp but perfectly grill kissed mushrooms, onions and peppers. OUTSTANDING - Others at the table had crab-legs, grilled salmon and assorted vegetables. The sautéed spinach was remarkable. - No waiting - but we arrived before the crowds. - Friendly service from everyone! Our waiter "Gator" was in training, but he charmed us and service was polished without "hovering". - Music was good and kept at a conversation level. - My twin brothers well traveled colleague from Atlanta loved the food and sound level. - Close to DFW International and other hi-ways. - We felt comfortable here Needs improvement: - Remodel time! Very dated building and dining area. The interior and vibe at the Richardson locations is vastly better. Clearly more upscale at the Richardson Much closer to a Brennan's at the Richardson location. - Training or not, we had to flag down our server for drink refills. Other servers should pitch in as a team here. Reviews based on points make me nervous. But we were thirsty and needed more alcohol and iced tea. We ate here because it was halfway between The Worthington in downtown Fort thriving glittery Richardson. Yelp Elite Recommend!

Went here recently for a meet and greet. I think I had ordered the tilapia plate with crunchy rice patties, veggies, and some sweet lentils, and I believe....also I had ordered an alcoholic drink...darn I forgot what it's called...but it was good! Our waiter was very attentive, and recommended some items on the menu to us. The vibe and the atmosphere was very good! The restrooms were clean as well. This was my first time to Pappadeux, and I do see myself coming back here in the future. The only annoying thing about my food were those sweet lentils. Lol. No biggie.

I mean, it is Pappadeaux. If you are craving seafood and/or Cajun food, this is definitely a great place to try. The service is always good and the food never disappoints. This particular time, we stuck to the lunch menu. Appetizer: Fried Calamari. Always juicy and goes well with the aioli dip. Entrées: Pasta Mardi Grass. Wife had this the first time we came here and has never been able to order something else. Ginger Salmon. The salmon was perfectly seated at the crust and soft and juicy at the center. The almond green beans surprised us both. Desserts: Praline Cheesecake x 2. It's a favorite of ours too. My wife doesn't actually like cheesecake but this is one of the few exceptions.

Since I'm in Bedford for work and have been staying at the hotel next door, I feel very confident writing my review as I've eaten here 5 times in the past 10 days. You pretty much can't go wrong. Everything I've had has been amazing. We get the house Greek salad to share before the entrees and its delicious. I tried something different every night and have been so pleased. The lobster and shrimp salad from the lunch menu sounds like a weird combination but it is super yummy. Warning for those of you trying to be "healthy," no matter how often we requested no butter, dishes were still cooked in butter. Seems like they just can't help it! Also there is this amazing cherry beer that tastes like jolly ranchers and you must try it.

Not a pleasant experience. I ordered to go on a Sunday prior to closing time. I requested no mushrooms and extra marinara cream sauce. I only received the extra marinara cream sauce. There was mushrooms galore in my food. I was unable to eat due to my food allergy. Natalie was prompt in assisting to rectify the situation. But here we are a month later with no resolution after multiple calls to this location and Corporate's guest relations :(. I love Pappadeaux, but I would advise visiting any location BUT this one.

Every time I come here the service and the food is great. I had the crawfish boil . Everything was cooked beautifully . This place has some of the best seasoned crawfish . Has a nice kick to it but not so hot that the skin on your young doesn't burn off. Also one of the best parts about this restaurant is the bread and butter. I could have a whole meal of just those two things. Always come during happy hour you get some great deals. Their gator app is delicious

The price recently went up so everything got even pricier. $25, now it's $30 for the Mississippi O. The food was decent, but not as good as before. I don't know if the chef got lazy and decided to fried all the dirty rice together instead of making it separately, but it turned out really salty. Understandable since there was about 10 of us that ordered dishes with dirty Cajun rice, but please use less salt next time. The crab cake was great and so was the fried squid. :) we ordered the shrimp cocktail and the waitress gave us shrimp and crab instead and we didn't get charged extra. I really wish they still have the blacken Alexander :( but they stopped making it. The strawberry lemonade is really good here. Please try everybody! When crawfish season is in, it's so good here. I remember when it was $2.99 - $4.99 on Tuesday but they stopped that. It was good while it lasted!

I've never been to Pappadeaux's but I've heard good things from several coworkers. So, I decided to check it out after a rather unpleasant lunch experience elsewhere. I asked the hostess for a quiet booth and she knew right where to sit me. I was placed in a booth in the back where the music, which was a bit loud for my taste, was only a distant jingle. My server, Tate, gave me plenty of time to look over the menu and was very knowledgeable about the food. He answered all my questions and made a few suggestions. He brought out some bread and butter, which was perfectly fine, and a glass of tea while I decided. I was going to order the crab fingers but the didn't that item. I didn't press to find out if it no longer on the menu or if they were just out. I ended up trying the frog legs which were delicious. They were spicy so whatch out! But, to be fair, they are supposed to be spicy. If you've never had frog legs, they really do taste like chicken but with a much softer consistency. Its worth trying. I could do without the sliced bread it came with but eating the meat on the bread was a bonus. Soft and crunchy, spicy and garlicky. I liked it. I ordered a two pound live Maine lobster, because it I was in the mood to treat myself. Plus, for a seafood restaurant, how they cook a live or recently live food is a good indication of how good the cooks are. After weighing, they found they didn't have a two pound lobster and offered instead either a three pound or two one pound. I opted for the two one pound. Note: seeing the lobster can be a bit unsettling to those unaccustomed to it. It looks a bit like an alien face-hugger when they bring it out. Be mindful of your guests. :) The lobsters were cooked perfectly. They were cut down the middle and the claws were already cracked to make it easier for you to get to to meat. For those purists out there who like to crack your own, just let them know. The lobsters came with tomato and basil linguine which worked well together. It was fully cooked but you can also get it al dente if you prefer. I do but I enjoyed it as it was. Some of the prices were a little high for the budget customer but there are still plenty of menu items in the ten to fifteen dollar range and the portions are generous. Overall, I was impressed by the whole package. The service was excellent and the food was deliscious. I'm only giving four out of five because I wasn't blown away by anything, but I will definitely recommend Pappadeaux's.

Came here because we saw a big sign for 5.95 for oysters so we had to stop in. As we sit down it's the first day for crawfish!!! So we had to get that too. 5.95 for a dozen oysters and 9.95 for 1.25lbs of crawfish what a steal!!!! We were seated rather quickly for lunch rush and we had our server Danny wait on us and man was he a great server. Came and checked on us refilled everything and told is exactly what was going on with our food. The service was awesome and the food was delicious as always with great prices on oysters and crawfish can't beat that

Excellent! Very impressed with food and service. We come in and sat right down. Our appetizers were served within 5 minutes of ordering and our food was served about 10 to 12 minutes after. The food was AMAZING. I recommend the soft shell crab, fried. We need a location in DC!

Great appetizers, I'm a fan of the appetizer trio and the Greek salad. Their drinks are also fabulous. While the hurricane is the most popular, I'm a fan of the Frenchman Street Spritz. It's a combination of Chardonnay, vodka and Pino Grigio. I love splitting the seafood platter with my mom. Substitutions cost extra but are worth it.

I had the crab cake as an appetizer for the first time and was surprised by how large the portion is just for being an appetizer. I decided it was going to be my meal instead! The crawfish was drenched in the sauce and the breading of the crab cake was perfect. The service was great, the appetizer came out to be less then $15, and I left with a full stomach!

I want to start off that I should have posted a review about how amazing our last experience was here. However, that experience wouldn't have deferred me from this review.. Our server was fantastic, Danielle P. Great job. Absolutely great. I was a fine dining server, and I appreciated how attentive she was. However the experience ended there. We received "lump crab" & spinach dip that we never found any crab at all in, but it was hot temperature wise. Next.. The entrees. I got the exact same dish as I did last time except an extra (4) scallop. First time 3 huge jumbo scallops that were piping hot. This time 3 small scallops, less than 1 inch diameter and 1 mangled scallop that looked like someone took a bite out of and stabbed many times, which were also about room temp. Disappointed.. Alerted our server and she went to get us 2 more small scallops. Then the sides... They were not even room temp. Cold. My husband scooped a bite of potatoes and the entire pile came off the plate all stuck together on his fork. What a bummer. The 2 scallops that came out after I was finished were hot and delicious. I was really looking forward to this dinner because it was for my birthday, and it was just a huge disappointment. The first time we came 2 months ago it was so amazing we couldn't wait to come back. Now I'm pretty sure I don't want to spend $100+ on a cold dinner ever again.

As always! Excellent food and service. I hosted clients here for lunch today and we all enjoyed it. Our server Blake was busy but he managed to provide great service to our table anyway. They currently have several great lobster and fish specials that are only available for a limited time. So enjoy. I got the Parmesan crusted flounder. My clients got the lobster. When travel to Houston check out the one in the Houston airport

I had to just stop going to this location. Papadeaux's has been my favorite restaurant since I was 5, but I just got tired or the horrible service from the young waiters, undercooked crawfish, and one time even having a plastic food wrapper in my étouffée. I started driving all the way to the Fort Worth location, where the service and food has never been less than 5 Star gourmet quality deliciousness. BOOM!!!

I came to Pappadeaux's tonight with my family for a birthday dinner. We had excellent service! Our waitress, Staci, had a wonderful personality and was very helpful. Our cups never ran empty and she was very prompt with bringing out bread and then our dinner. Wonderful service as always!

Aw this place is really good! My hubby's friend and brother works here. Hubby's friend was our waiter and he was awesome. Hubby and I ordered the filet mignon and lobster each so it was approximately $85 for both of us. The lobster was amazing but the filet mignon was so so. My husband is from Oklahoma and I am from Hawaii but we are stationed in Hawaii because my hubby is in the army. So we visited his family here. The manager is really nice. My hubby's brother told his manager about our experience here W the filet mignon and the manager was real nice and gave us a refund back for the two filet mignon plate! That truly is excellent customer service. If you are coming to this restaurant ask for Garland or Jimmy!

I had the pleasure of dining in this establishment this past Thursday and had the Mississippi Catfish Opelousas, my god it was outstanding, with a dozen of Blue Point Oysters. Having eaten at many other papadeaux's around the country I can say that the food is consistently good. Outstanding quality control. The manager (short lady with glasses ) made sure that a retired military member was taken care of, and I will not forget her, and will be back again next visit to Dallas. Thank you for all you did.

Meh. Service was good and food good but somewhat disappointing. I am not writing it off at this point because I am a HUGE Pappa's fan - I'll try again and let you know.

About Papa Murphy

Papa Murphy is one of the top pizza chains in the United States. Papa Murphy was formed after the merger of two popular local pizzerias namely Papa Aldo's and Murphy's respectively. The trend of "take and bake" pizzerias gained popularity in the United States during the early 90s. The growing popularity these two take and bake pizzerias located in Hillsboro, Oregon and Petaluma, California respectively gave the idea of a possible merger to Terry Collins.

In 1995, Terry Collins consolidated the merger and founded Papa Murphy and expanded the pizza chain across 1300 outlets in the United States and Canada. Customers can relish Papa Murphy pizzas by simply walking into the nearby Papa Murphy outlet or simply order online or call-in to pick up the order later. Some Papa Murphy outlets also feature a drive-thru window where you can pick up your call-in order. Today, Papa Murphy is owned by MTY Food Group.
