I would give this place four stars but after reading a over dramatic review decided to add an extra. Some people.. The place is good just like any typical Chinese restaurant. The employees are nice and if you ask they will whip up what you want in the kitchen. The orange chicken and the chicken on a stick are my favorites. For Alvin, this is a good place.

It's with a heavy heart that I have to officially write off my once favorite Chinese buffet. My husband came home tonight and told me that they were open again, so we went. This older gentlemen comes in with what I assumed were his young grandsons. As they were walking past the youngest one, who was obviously sick, started coughing and got sick right by our table. I suppose I was obviously affected because the nice man offered to pay for our meals. Anyway, when they came to clean it, they just threw something over the top of it and used their feet to slide it. No mop, No Bleach or nothing Jesus! All I could think about is my 2 year old and how he likes to crawl around on the floor sometimes, and how the next people that come in could possibly have a baby that they let crawl around to maybe pick up a bottle or a binky. Ugh. We didn't let the nice man pay for our meals because it appeared as if he was going to not eat in order to pay for us. Makes me sad. Lol I really did love that place. I had a discount card and everything! If that's how they do things up front with people watching, I can only imagine what they do in the back.

Too bad there is no half star. Four stars after reading they didn't properly clean up vomit?! Really? I have eaten there one time, even after seeing the condition of the tables, should have left then but nooooo we ate. The food was off temprature and old looking and tasted like it too. Not one refill of tea. This place needs either a complete overhaul or a bulldozer. Nasty. And as for it's good for Alvin, what the heck? It's a small town yes, but we don't earn our money like the rest of America and don't deserve clean restaurants? Rediculous. My advice to anyone thinking of eating here, don't.

There's just something so satisfying about their egg-fried shrimp and chicken on a stick. Although the shrimp is only available on the dinner/weekend menu it's worth the wait. The service is friendly and helpful, it's hard to completely empty your glass! The soup, rice, noodles, even frog legs are all delicious, great restaurant.
