Not a huge meat eater but I have to say even I love me a good bbq pulled pork sandwich, tator salad, and baked beans at Bradley's! I could even just sit and eat a whole plate of their tator salad alone! If you want good BBQ this is the place to go! Did I mention the aroma? Yummm!

Stopped in for a quick lunch on the road, and wasn't impressed. Had the pork puppies, which were hush puppies "stuffed" with bbq. I might have found a piece or two of meat in the whole order. The beef sandwich was underwhelming as well, and tasted as if it was microwaved. The service was very quick and friendly, but the food could use some improvement.

This was pretty good. Stopped on the way home from weekend in Gatlinburg. Really wanted some mac & cheese and saw that they had it. Got the short rib plate with the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes (yes, double-carbs). The ribs were fall off the bone and good. The mac & cheese was eh, ok and the mashed potatoes were so-so. Service was very attentive and they have a 10% check-in offer, so that was nice. It's not a bad stop, would try something else. Heard the burgers were good.

When we travel we always check new BBQ places . During this journey to Tennessee we stopped in Valdosta - excellent BBQ, but only found one excellent place I Tennessee so far. Dragon Pit Inn and Krambonz, both in TN were offensive to taste buds. Brandleys was excellent , great job Karla. The pulled pork and chicken was out of this world. The bacon cheeseburger would put Red Robin to shame.

Food was pretty good, party of six and there were no to go boxes. Got a full rack and it was twice as big as a major chain for same price. Service was so so, locals sat in the back, got the "stare" headed to rr. Desert was very good, carrot cake and peanut butter silk pie; hard to tell but majority says home made. We may stop again but not go out of our way to eat there.

Pulled pork is good. Liked being able to try different sauces that were available on the table. Blackberry cobbler was passable but wouldn't recommend it. Atmosphere is charming but be prepared to sit very close to your neighbors.

We happened across this barbecue restaurant because it was relatively close to a highway exit, and it sounded more appetizing than the fast food places. As it turned out, this was a fantastic decision. Absolutely delicious barbecue ribs, smoked chicken, steaks, sides (the mac & cheese and the coleslaw were especially good). The service was outstanding Southern hospitality- our waitress (Erin) was just so attentive and friendly. We will certainly make this a restaurant destination if we pass this way again. Highly recommended.

I am underwhelmed. Our two vacationing families were eager for a tasty BBQ. I had the chicken wings which were smoked. Ugh. A big wing no-no that needed a combination of the sweet and hot sauces to get the flavor acceptable. My dining partners had this to say about the BBQ and the Brunswick stew: "so-so." A quote from my foodie friend and dining partner "it's the only BBQ I've ever had that when I toothpicked it out of my teeth I spit it out."

  • Bill Q.

Pretty good overall. I had the ribs. They were tasty. Wasn't a huge fan of the sauces they had to offer but they were okay. Friendly staff but the kitchen was a little slow.

Sunday afternoon lunch. Dry room temperature pork, Luke warm mac and cheese with decent baked beans- not very good. My traveling partner had spare ribs and chicken, I tired the ribs and the they were tasty, but covered in a sticky sweet sauce, more like chain ribs than good BBQ joint ribs. The wait staff was extremely nice and the atmosphere was family friendly, but I won't be stopping here again.

What a great meal!! The spare ribs were awesome and the okra, just perfect! Definitely a nice country dining experience! Great personal service From Miss Michele!! She never failed to make sure we we're taken care of! We'll be back for sure!

It was a lazy weekday and I think it affected the service. Barbecue pulled pork was good, but overpriced. I got the pulled pork platter and my buddy got the pulled pork sandwich. Mine was twice the price for the same amount of food. Sauces were delicious. More thought could be put into the sides. The collard greens tasted canned. Overall a decent experience but I'm spoiled. It's no Dino BBQ!

Stopped here this evening. Baby back ribs were very good and we really liked the sweet and the spicy sauces. The blackberry cobbler was also good.

I'm updating my review, five years after the first one. I have to admit, I haven't heard rap music here in years so I've added a star. They now have a nice outdoor seating area with ceiling fans. Unfortunately, they do not allow dogs on their outdoor patio. Otherwise, I've eaten a lot of BBQ in the past five years and I still think their pulled pork is the best or at least at the top of my list. Glad to see they also have peach cobbler, a traditional dessert for a southern BBQ joint.

  • Carla N.

The food was decent My husband and I both had the pulled pork platter. My sides were mac n cheese and lima beans both were room temperature not hot. My husband had the fries (frozen crinkle cut type) and coleslaw The place could use a good cleaning. We had a few ants on the table joining us for dinner a bit of a turnoff Staff was extremely friendly and the food was delivered quickly.

  • Clarissa C.

The beef tips and sausage were pretty good. Brisket was a bit dry. The Mac and cheese were over cooked. Not a bad spot. I enjoyed the carrot cake at the end.

Do not try to drive into this establishment in anything other than a regular vehicle. I called in advance and ask if there was room for a large truck and Horse trailer and was told that I could pull behind the building. There is insufficient room to make the turn to go behind the building and also a large rock that hit the thought of my trailer and insignificant damage. It took me quite a while to back out and turnaround as it is a small parking lot. In probably 15 minutes of trying no one even came out to help. I'm sorry that I did not get to try the barbecue but I will not be going back to a place that offers such poor customer service.

We stopped here because there were so many cars parked there at 2 in the afternoon. Baby back ribs were excellent. The fried okra is recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Decent but not memorable. The food leaves much to be desired. You will be happier with Buddy's BBQ or fast food. Think food served at nursing home and you will have the right picture.

Nice place, had the pulled pork with the sweat BBQ. Moist, fries were crispy as I like them and the slaw was good. Overall very good In comparing their pork to Jordan's in Cleveland I would say they are a close second. But good.

First time here after driving by it for years. I love BBQ but very picky about it. So I stopped finally. The staff was very friendly and the menu had a lot to choose from. I had the ribs. With and without sauce. What meat that was on the bones was good and had a great flavor. A lot more fat on ribs than I'm use to. I tried their pulled pork also. It was tender and full of flavor. Not crazy about my sides tho. Out of the bag Frozen fried okra ? We are in the South. That should not happen and baked beans out of a can. At least they tasted like it. Over all price for what we got was not bad at all. I would try again

I've always seen the billboards, and decided to stop for a better option than interstate exit fast food. Food was abundant and great prices. Decent BBQ.

Was in the area again so we decided to stop by Bradley's again. This time we had the smoked sausage and smoked turkey. Its obvious that the food here is just consistently GREAT!

This is the best BBQ I've ever had!!!! And I'm picky, since I didn't eat pork for a decade, but now do. Found this by accident traveling I-75. The meat is perfectly smoked and has a ton of flavor. I prefer eating it plain... it it so juicy you didn't need to ruin it with any sauce! Also, there wasn't a ton of fat in the meat, I absolutely hate greasy, fatty pork! The cole slaw is not to mayonnaisey. Homemade sweet tea, what else can you ask from a southern BBQ jive? Every time we've been (about 5 times over the past couple years) the wait staff has been run-of-the-mill. Just about what you'd expect, nothing special, nor nothing horrible. Will always stop when traveling thru the area!!

BBQ pork sandwich / lil oily / offers 3 types of BBQ sauce. Mac n cheese was very creamy. Worth the mile drive off the exit.

Traveling through. Glad to have comfortable place to dine, but I'm very spoiled from the BBQ in Orlando, FL. I'd give this place a VERY AVERAGE rating. 2 1/2 stars.

Stopped by on out way back home from New Orleans. We saw one of the 127 billboards along the road and thought why not. From the outside the place looks really nice. We passed through on a Sunday evening and the place had a decent crowd. Not packed but kinda busy for its size. We (3 in my party) ordered 2 smoked Philly cheese steaks and and one order of all you can eat ribs. The smoked Philly cheese steaks were pretty good according to my travel companions. They especially liked the butter toasted bread (not served on a traditional Philly style bun). Sides were French fries and potato salad. I know I know potatoes and potatoes.... But it didn't register until my food arrived. The ribs were tender. Just a tad on the fatty side but that's ok. The sauce was a little too heavy IMHO. Sauce shouldn't pile up on a rack like that. It was thick like ketchup. You're saucing a rib not filling a crack in the wall. But seriously the sauce was decent and the ribs were lightly smoked and did have a great flavor. I just scrapped off the excess. On to the potato salad! It was ok. More on the side of tasteless. It was not bad. It just wasn't great. French fries...crinkle cuts out of a bag. Come on guys...you take time to smoke ribs for hours and it's too much to cut a potato? Especially after you make your own potato salad. All in all I did like the ribs. The portion size was huge. We left with our belts full and happy.

The brisket was yummy but the sides not so much. My mac n cheese tasted of craft out of the box and the fried okra seemed frozen not fresh. But after having been caving at the Lost Sea for 4 hours we were starving so we shared the brisket dinner with two sides and had two beers. Both of us were stuffed so they do have big portions. They keep 3 different types of bbq sauce on the table which works well for people who are picky about their sauces.

My wife and I were driving back from Atlanta and happend to spot Bradley's as I was getting hungry so we pulled in to check it out. It was lunch-time and they had a pretty decent crowd so that was encouraging and we headed in. We tried a couple of combo platters so that we could get a bit of a sample of most of their bbq (ribs, pulled pork, brisket). Everything was pretty darn good and my favorite was the ribs. The sides were good as well, but we both agreed that the mac and cheese was a little bland. All in all, the food was good and plentiful and the staff was friendly and took good care of us. If I were passing by I would defintely stop in again.

Holy crap that's good food and a great price. Little places like this put hip snobby overpriced downtown places to shame.

Ok stopped here on our way up from the Atl and found this place for BBQ and found it to be good. Still looking for that great BBQ place. Service here was great but the meat was a little bitter but the potato chips where great. My family loves BBQ and we are in the search for the best I would eat here again but would not go out of my way.

  • April W.

The BBQ is good and the prices are decent for what you get. The Mac n cheese though was barely edible. It was so creamy it was almost mush. Which is fine, but it was also bland. The okra was good but mine was cold and my son's was so hot you couldn't eat it right away. Also, they carry Pepsi products which automatically is a half star deduction, lol. Seriously, I HATE Pepsi products. And I don't like tea. So that left beer or water for me. Selection of beers? Crappy...Bud and something else of that nature. Ok, so water for me. Service was friendly but we only saw her when we ordered and when she came and brought the check. She apologized for being absent but good thing we didn't get too thirsty! I give it 3 stars based on the BBQ, had a great smokey flavor. It was good enough to try again.

Ehhh not much to say about bradleys. I've had better bbq at buddy's and the sides were mediocre. Prices were fair enough for what you got. I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Bradley's has redeemed itself. Wasn't too impressed with the pulled pork sandwich but on the way back from Bham I stopped in again because - while not great - it wasn't bad. At the last minute I changed my mind and ordered the half chicken. Holy non pork product, Batman! The chicken was sublime...out of this world! It's the kind of savory that you've got to pick up with your hands and suck right off the bone. It tasted like they just killed the chicken...it was that fresh. My only complaint was the modest portion - more white meat, please! But damn, if it wasn't the most succulent tasting chicken...did I mention it was incredible? Yes, I believe I did. Bradley's offers three house sauces - sweet, spicy, and vinegar. You can also buy a bottle to go for $8. I used none of the above as the chicken was saucy enough. So stop on in and taste what might be the closest to fresh kill...btw, Bradley's has some fun people watching. I'll leave it at that.

I visted Bradley's after a long day driving in the mountains. The value was excellent, I actually had a bit too much food. The pulled pork was good, but maybe chopped too fine, and was a tad dry. The brisket was much better. The sauce was good, although a two meat platter needed two cups, and they only gave one. Fries were great. My dog's hotdog was basically a bratwurst, so he was thrilled. Would eat there again!

We were driving, driving, driving and everyone was getting hungry. The Around Me app found Bradley's Pt BBQ and Grill. The eldest kid (aged 11) in the car wasn't excited to stop for hot BBQ but she was overruled. We were psyched. This was a road trip and we were going to eat good BBQ on the road, in Tennessee. The 11 year old was grumpy but her mood changed quickly after we arrived. By the end of the meal, she declared that this WAS the best cheeseburger she ever had (her words). This says a lot for the 11 year old who always orders the cheeseburger. Service was great. Pulled pork sandwiches were yummy. Kids ribs hit the mark for the eight year old. Everyone in the family rated it 4 stars maybe even 5!

Several minute(5-7min standing in the entrance with the same girl repeatedly saying 'we will be right with you') wait to be seated on Monday night with about half of the tables with customers. Plastic table clothes, with ANTS on it. I should have left at that point, but I had just driven from Baton Rouge and was tired and very hungry. Tried to pull up Wifi and there was a network listed under their name, however the waitress informed me that 'they don't know their password". Ordinarily this wouldn't have been a big deal to me, however I was traveling alone and wanted to look up a hotel room while I was dining. I had "no service' otherwise on my phone-not their fault, but the Wifi would have come in handy. Took several minutes for waitress to take order, overheard her taking an order at the table next to me and she apologized to them for the wait stating that she was "responsible to do the register as well right now". I ordered pulled pork platter which included two sides and texas toast, I ordered cole slaw and macaroni&cheese, declined on the texas toast. Pulled pork was average-seemed to be the bottom of the barrel-bits of burnt pieces and more just scrap pieces with little actual pork shoulder. It actually smelled burnt when it was put down on the table..however did not taste burnt. Rich smokey flavor, but wasn't seasoned well. My ex has a traeger smoker, so I have become somewhat of a bbq snob...this was very unimpressive. BBQ sauces were very good. I tried 'sweet' and 'spicy'. Both had bold flavor. Cole slaw-it was a 'creamy' version of the southern side and although the cabbage was nice big pieces and crunchy, it lacked flavor. It needed more celery seed and sugar. Macaroni&Cheese- GROSS..it didn't have any characteristics of being the traditional southern baked mac&cheese. I would honestly compare it to boxed mac&cheese. Noodles were the exact elbow shape of box mac&cheese and completely over cooked; cheese base/sauce was watery and completely lacked flavor. I rarely add salt to anything, but this needed it badly. If I lived here, or was passing through, I would not return to this place.

Came here after Bonnaroo and was desperately craving southern BBQ! The place has the best baby-back ribs I have ever had. The sauce was so good I don't know how I ate a whole rack but I did and it was glorious. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. A perfect little southern experience I do declare!

Not many places to choose from along this stretch of highway so when I saw a sign leading me to a Q place I couldn't resist stopping in. I do have to say it's better than the fast food options but it's just not great. The pulled pork was fine, the mac and cheese OK, the collard greens were awful even when doctored up with vinegar & pepper sauce. The serve staff was friendly and the food came out quick. So this place is a fine way point if you just have to get something in your belly while on the road, but it leaves much to be desired. BBQ sauces Sweet-very ketchupy Vinegar-bland and thick Hot-ok but not really hot

  • Kate B.

We stopped here on our way to Knoxville and were very impressed. The pulled pork and brisket were great plain and did not need the sauce (they were delicious too though). The service was friendly and quick. The cookies made for a great treat to take on the road. Highly recommended!

I honestly should've yelped this place BEFORE we stopped. I have really really been wanting some good southern BBQ, and was in Blairsville GA visiting family well the best place around there was only open on the weekends and the day I wanted it was during the week, so we drove to to Sweetwater because it was on the way home to Ohio, so we stopped at Bradleys I'd seen it several times on my many trips to visit family finally decided to give it a shot. The server who sat us had a nice demeanor and was kind, but not good with service, our drinks were empty pretty much the whole time, we actually had to get up and ask for more drinks. The food tasted decent, but for what you pay you don't get a whole lot on that large sandwich. The ribs were a bit dry. All in all it was actually a disappointment. I wasn't expecting something glamorous or nothing but I was expecting a bit more than that. So, I think next time I'll schedule my trip to hit up the place in Blairsville GA on the weekends. I haven't seen one bad review about that place yet all 5 stars which I haven't really seen yet so they must have some awesome "que"

We love this place. We stop in twice a year on our trips back home and it's the highlight of the day. Hard to find a place anywhere that knows how to smoke meat like these guys do. Only suggestion: This is not a fast stop. Plan on an hour at least. These folks move SLOW, but it's worth the wait.

Passing thru Sweetwater, TN and stopped at Bradley's BBQ Pit & Grill for dinner. Beautiful inviting restaurant set back from the road. Parking lot was filled with pick up trucks and cars. That's a good sign in any state. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and had excellent service from Beth. Had full rack of baby back ribs - husband had combo pulled pork & pulled beef. Both main dishes excellent - sides were fresh and perfectly cooked. The restaurant was busy and the service flawless. Great food / great staff / we will come back again for sure. What BBQ should be in Tennessee!!

Found this place by chance - it was the best BBQ / smoked pulled pork around. Piggy's were also a big hit. Everyone loved it, as well as the collared greens.

Yum! Stopped in town for the night, figured we'd try the barbecue place near our hotel. We were very happy! I had the turkey sandwich with fried okra and collard greens. My husband had the "Piggyback Potato" or whatever it's called--it was a baked potato loaded with brisket, cheese, barbecue sauce, butter, and sour cream. He wolfed it down! We wanted dessert, but were too full. The service was friendly and fast. My only complaint about Bradley's is that the collards were bland. But I'd be happy to eat there again!

  • R G.

We came across this place at random from Chicago, IL to Fort Benning, GA. The staff was patient and very friendly; and recomended the PiggyBack... I have never come across a "SIDE DISH" like this.... and neither will you. 4 stars for the piggyback alone!

  • Mike G.

The BBQ was very good. My family and I use any excuse to come out this way and eat. Friendly service and clean. Try the bbq-all you can eat option and the hot wings are great.

  • Jerry B.

Bradley's is the place to go in our area for good BBQ. The pulled pork is great and the ribs are good. Used to go to the breakfast buffet all the time, but they just shut that down. Too bad, it was one of the best I have ever had. Service depends on the person, but most are okay to excellent when you hit the right one.

  • John L.

I stopped in here due to the billboard out on the hwy. I love BBQ and this did not disappoint. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fires. The pulled pork was very good good smoke flavor and very tender. I use their hot BBQ sauce I was nice could have been a little hotter. The only same negative would be the pulled pork was a bit to close to chopped pork I like mine to a bit bigger pieces but a lot of places serve it this way so I am used to it. The fries were very good as well. The service friendly and fast. I even got a tee shirt. So if you are driving by on hwy 75 and looking for a place to get some good BBQ this is your place.

  • Mikki H.

This place is a diamond in the rough. It is through-and-through a barbecue joint, from the decor to the friendly people to the, of course, barbecue. But my favorite entreé is the ribeye. It is one of the best steaks I've had anywhere - melt-in-your mouth tender, subtly seasoned, perfectly grilled. And such a great deal! $12.95 with two sides. But hands down the reason I come here is the carrot cake. It is literally the best carrot cake I've ever had - but I'd call it closer to hummingbird cake than carrot cake. It has coconut, raisins, maybe apple? All it lacks is pineapple and it's there. But it's so good. Save room for it if you can.

  • Bobby H.

Driving down the interstate, I saw a sign for a barbeque place so I whipped off at the next exit - an exit early. Then found out the building was over a mile from the interstate... it was well worth the drive! I had the lunch special of regular pulled pork. Just dowsed the next area with sauce before taking a bite. Not the best I've ever had, but quite tasty! If I'm passing by on the interstate around mealtime, I would be happy to stop in again.

  • Bruce A.

Ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich here. The bun was drenched in grease, the meat was tasteless, dried out on the edges and largely gristle, with very little sauce. Even though they gave me an inadequate amount of meat, I wasn't able to finish two bites. The BBQ beans tasted like they came out of a can. Very disappointing. Oh, also one of the servers was working while obviously ill. Scratch this one off your list.

Good barbecue in a small town. Staff is pretty friendly. Flat screen with sports on in the main dining room. Cute little place

The food here was good and the staff friendly. Husband had ribs, and I had a sandwich and fries. Carrot cake for dessert because of the reviews and it didn't disappoint.
