Decent Japanese food, glad to have them in Springfield. Great portion sizes. However the service ALWAYS SUCKS!!!!!

It is so nice to have decent sushi in Springfield. The fish is fresh and the specials are tasty. What's more, the lunch specials are a very good value. I plan on eating here often. The staff is friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the sushi. But then again, this is a country town. Most 8-piece sushi rolls are $4 to $5, with special rolls weighing in at $8 to $9.

Greg's Review for Korean tastes Hibachi dishes : Great... I like that much sweet taste. General taste of hibachi in other japanese restaurant tend to be too sweet but this restaurant is perfect for korean taste. Sushi : good Side dishes : good and fresh There are many tables over 15. Waitress is so kind.

Wow, always going to rivergate for Japanese and sushi. This takes the cake, good service and very accommodating. The food was perfect, they even make spicy rice, my favorite! Many rolls to choose from and Sashimi (sp?) A dead give away of a clean restaurant, the bathroom was NOT scary! That makes me feel confident my food was prepared in a clean environment and that's extremely important to me! Try it, you'll LOVE it!

I've been to this place 3 times in the last 2 months and my husband and I love it!!! First off, service is great! I feel like everyone is welcoming and consistent with checking on guests often, but not too often. The wait for food has never been long, portion sizes are great, and sushi always tastes fresh! I love that I can take my two toddlers here and not wait forever for food! Even better, the setting of the restaurant is sophisticated but not fancy, and family friendly at the same time-- one of the cleanest locally owned restaurants I've been to in awhile! As someone who has lived most of their life in the west coast, I was skeptical of trying Asian cuisine here in Tennessee, but I have yet to be disappointed!!

My husband and I eat here as often as possible and we love it. We no longer have to drive to the Rivergate area to get great sushi. We love that each time we go to Ichiban they have a new special and of course we have to try it. We have always been pleased with our food and service. If you haven't tried Ichiban then I strongly recommend you do. Be sure to ask for some yum-yum sauce for your sushi and try the clear soup, it's one of our favorites.

A very nice sushi spot for Springfield. My family and I eat here often, food is excellent, very friendly staff. Service is prompt for dine-in and takeout.
