Much nicer location that either of the Murfreesboro stores. I've never had a terribly long wait here, if at all. Service is usually pretty good, I've had Jensen as my server twice now & she's been attentive and sweet both times. Location is a little out of the way compared to other parts of Smyrna but I don't mind the drive since it's right off I-24. Good food, friendly employees so I'll definitely return! :)

Great choice if you're in the mood for country cooking. Some of the food can be a bit bland, but I do like the country fried steak with potatoes and gravy, myself. Always friendly staff with only one bad experience in the years we've been going there. To-go orders have always been steaming hot as if right out of the oven no matter when we pick them up. If you're swinging through Smyrna, I recommend Cracker Barrel for a nice meal.

I came to this location while visiting family from out of town. I love Cracker Barrel and I was looking forward to eating here as we don't have them in DC. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing event. First off the hostess had a bad attitude when my Sister went to put our name in for a table. Our servers were very nice and polite but things were just slow. Since the place was by no means close to packed on a Tuesday evening we were confused as to why it took so long for our order to be served. The food was fine but by no means the quality I have had in the past. The pancakes were lukewarm, the bacon was tough and the okra was soggy. I'm hoping this location just had an off night and that if I visit again it'll be different.

The food is always the same at Cracker Barrel. Good enough to keep bringing me back. Service was great, as well.

I love Cracker Barrel! I love all of it. I love biscuits, dumplings, the candy section out front, the rocking chairs, the black coffee, the little stars on aprons, the peg game, giant checkers, HASHBROWN CASSEROLE, french toast, all the crap on the walls, fried apples, pancakes with blackberries, stewarts soda, the fireplace, turkey sausage, eggs, all the crap that can go into eggs, ham, fried chicken, free gift wrapping, grape soda, frosty mugs, butter and jams that go straight to my thighs. I love you Cracker Barrel and I always will. XOXO

We love Cracker Barrel and would love to give this location 5 stars but for the seating situation and lack of organization we can't. Food: The food is great and comes out fairly quickly. Customer service from waiter: Could definitely use a little work on building relationships or conversations with customers. Seating: Very unorganized and staff is complete unaware or responsive when customers make them aware of the issue. My husband and I are visiting Tennessee before he goes on his third deployment overseas. We came in with his parents to have a nice Sunday breakfast. Clearly we knew that we'd have a wait time and that was fine with us. We put our name in and 15 minutes later our name was called for our party of 4. Yay! right? Not really.. As the host proceeds to take us to our table we end up at a table for 2, she looks at us and says party of 2 right? The 4 of us say, no, party of 4! And she apologized and proceeded to have us follow her around like puppies until we were standing in front of the fire place as people eating around us were staring at us awkwardly. We noticed a gentleman sitting at a table of 4 by himself and we thought that was a bit odd. My husband went up to the front to explain what was going on and they kept confusing our party of FOUR for a party of TWO, even though it was clearly written down and even spoken when our name was called. All and all we finally got seated in the spot where the one guy had been sitting at his VIP table all by himself. As we were sitting waiting to order we saw people lining up near the fire place to wait like us for their table. Why in the world would you call a party to be seated and then make them wait again in the dining area?? Would we come back? Of course, but management really needs to workout the kinks of customer service and seating. Sunday or not, it's not their first rodeo with a full house.

Not much to say here.. I've almost always had consistent service and food at Cracker Barrel... Depending on what kind of mood and what time of day it is.. I either get the biscuits and gravy or the Chicken BLT on Sourdough... The service here was good, even for an afterchurch crowd.. We got our food quick and had everything right... Only complaint? Bring me some more biscuits! :) Will always go back.

I know CBs are everywhere but this one is always on top of their game. It's right off the interstate but it seems that the clientele are locals and the wait staff is very warm and friendly. I wish this store would teach the one near my house how to serve up great food that is hot with such great attitudes as this one!

I almost always get the blackened catfish with carrots and coleslaw. I like their Breakfast which is served all day. It seems like there's a cracker barrel everywhere. I definitely prefer it over IHOP, and especially waffle house. But they aren't 24 hours. If you like processed foods like candy, they stock old favorites and hard to find varieties. Their store, sells almost a little bit of everything to fill your home, from candles to rocking chairs. This one gets just perfectly full for lunch, you don't have to wait, but there's a lot of people enjoying themselves, which is a good atmosphere.

I am going to try and be nice since it we were there for Thanksgiving. The service we received was horrible. Normally I would let it go because they were busy but I just can't. My daughter ordered beef stew. When my turkey dinner arrived they did not have her stew yet. The waitress said she would be right out with it. I was half way through my meal before our waitress made an appearance. We asked about the strew, she said,"somebody was suppose to tell you we are all out". SO my daughter went ahead and ordered the turkey dinner with mash potatoes as a side and my wife requested gravy for her meal. Finally her meal arrives(btw I was already done) and it had mac and cheese as a side and not mashed potatoes and no sign of my wife gravy, So instead of waiting another 20 minutes for them to swap the sides, she ask them to put it in a to go box. While waiting another waitress dropped off the check and said nothing about the pie that was suppose to come with the Thanksgiving meal. I guess they hoped we would miss that. Anyway they finally bring out the boxed meal and I inquired about the pie. The waitress we are out of pie but we do have cobbler. We told okay fine, we will have cobbler. She brought out chocolate cake. I really wanted to leave a good tip because it was Thanksgiving but ethically I could not reward such horrible service so I gave a 10% tip. We are local so I think we will try the one next town south before going to this location again.

Instead of eating breakfast at the Fairfield Inn, my wife decided to take me out for breakfast. I chose this restaurant because it was just across the road, For a Sunday, it was packed but we managed to be seated right away. Our server was stoic but later warmed up and was pleasant. I don't think she mentioned her name. I ordered Momma's French Toast Breakfast and my wife ordered an omelette which wasn't on the menu. The only thing I'm going to complain about is the presentation of my french toast which looked like it was just thrown on the plate. Other than that, it was a nice breakfast with my better half.

Great service and delicious food even on a super busy holiday morning. I had issues with how my eggs were cooked so they remade my entire breakfast. They went above and beyond. And of course the hash brown casserole is AH-mazing as always!

Some itches just have to be scratched! I don't care who you are, you can always find comfort in some good ol Cracker Barrel food. Whether it be their breakfast (with always perfectly cooked eggs), lunch sammiches, or their home style dinner. It always goes down smooth. The desserts are always huge and will induce a sugar coma in no time. GREAT STUFF!!!! I always end up spending double though because I can't not buy things from teh country store. DAMMIT!!!

OK, my confession: I am a foodie. I travel to eat and experience good food and atmosphere. That said, when you are on the road and need a well-prepared, inexpensive light meal, served by a friendly waitstaff, in a reasonable amount of time, this is the place to find. I even got the Cracker Barrel app on my phone, to save time. Yes, Virginia, you CAN get a healthy meal there. Did you know you can order off the kid's menu, too? Smaller servings and reasonable prices. And they do a great oatmeal. It's not all about the biscuits and gravy.

Stopped by for breakfast and wished we hadn't. The scrambled eggs where like a fried crape, the grits were lumpy and the biscuits were hard. The service was just Ok.
