Tried this Cheddars out big mistake. Service was excruciating slow. Placed my children's order and appetizers came out in a timely manner. But for our entrees took 45 min which is unacceptable. We went around 4 so there was no lunch or dinner rush. Only a few cars in parking lot. Out food shouldn't have taken so long. Love the croissants. Fries was drenched in salt and burger was mediocre. Will not be going back. Not to mention they were out of Togo cups and large Togo boxes. Glasses were dirty.

I will never come back to this Chedder's location!! We were seated right away. The hostess said our waiter would be right with us. I only saw one waiter working the tables around me. After 8 mins of waiting and not so much as let me get you a drink or "Hi I'm so and so and I will be right with you." We got up went to the hostess informed her we would never be back and left. Now it would have been different if I hadn't seen the waiter but no he waited on the table beside me and behind me not once but three time before I left. I have never left a restaurant before and I have never given a 1 star rating ever but this really went all over me.

We like the food at cheddars fine, but this review is really about the substandard service we received on our last visit. The waiter was inattentive and took FOREVER to do anything. He never refilled our drinks and never checked on us. But the real problem occurred when he used the back of the booth seat my husband was sitting in as a place to set a tray of dirty dishes. When the gentleman on the other side of the seat got up, he knocked the dishes off into my husband's seat. Food spilled everywhere. The waiter took away the dishes, but left the spilled food on the floor and in my husband's seat. He NEVER cleaned it up and my husband had to try to get out of a food smeared booth without getting it all over him at the end of our meal. INEXCUSABLE.

The food was awesome! Especially the lemon pepper catfish. One of the best I've had ! I was very impressed. And the service was great too. What a nice surprise for lunch today. There were some flies buzzin around.

If you think Chicken Strips is only for the kids menu, think again! This place has the absolute BEST Chicken Strips I have ever had, and very resonable prices. We had the Spinach Dip, Onion Rings for appetizers. Both good. For our meals, my girlfriend pointed out the big plate of chicken the table next to us was having, and I promptly ordered. Huge strips, juicy, juicy, juicy! The Ranch dressing, which I believe is buttermilk Ranch is made in house and is a great combo with the strips. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it! The batter was light and crispy, perfect. If you like chicken, this place is for you. Easily, most of the dishes coming out from the back to the surrounding tables were the Strips, enough said.

Yesterday was my birthday and we went here for the first time, and we both loved it. Our waitress name was April and she was neat, courteous, and very cool. The service was great and the food was outstanding. Any one living in the metro area should all swing down to Smryna and eat at Cheddar's. It's a high class restaurant with very affordable prices.

Whats wrong with you people? This place is the bomb diggity. I think of it as Outback but a helluva a lot cheaper. I can only speak for the Tenders (nice crunch, tender on the inside, and flavorful) and the Ribs. i'm a self proclaimed BBQ fanatic so these are by no means great ribs, but for the price a very good "above average" ribs. They had nice char, great tasting, but could have been a little more tender. I can excuse that since we are dealing with mass productions here. The prices are great, and the service has good. Check it out!

Pretty nice looking on the out and inside waiters dressed up in a white shirt and black tie.Host staff could have been alitlle more friendly we got a booth right next to the kitchen which I am not a big fan of everything seem very cheap so I was kind of you get what you pay for.But I had the tenders and blackened shrimp which was really good my girl friend had the country fried steak which was sub par to say the least. It was very chewy and the gravy was very bland. She had to put tons of salt and pepper on it to give it any flavor. The server was nice and did his job and kept our drinks full and cleared the plates when we were done over not to bad.I will go back for another go around

My wife and I went there to see what it was like. We went in and were seated promptly. Then we were forgotten about for about 10 min. I went up to the hostess and asked if we had a someone to take our order. She didn't know that is where we were sat... When the waitress did show up - she made up for it with over attentiveness - it was a nice change :) We put our orders in and got our food promptly. The appetizer and and food was great! The burger was juicy, the fries tasted good. My wifes buffalo chicken fingers were great! Over-all the food was really good and we're going back. My only critique and the reason for 4 stars is the front of the house needs to be put together better. Forgetting customers is not cool - there were plenty of other waitresses walking by too.... Just annoying.

This is my first time at Cheddars and I will never try it again. I waited forever at this location and no server approached me to take my orders and so i left dismayed. What really bothered me is that they congregate in the same area where people dine and they talk at each other and never cared for their customers. They saw me waiting and made eye contact but never bothered to help or even ask for my order. If I was the manager, I would never let them congregate and talk loud in the dining area because it does not look good, it was so annoying. I will never return to this location ever.

First time at cheddar' was good. Service was very good and food was decent. The steak was a bit dry but it was tasty. Chicken tenders were juicy and tasted fresh . You must try the mango tea but stay away from the banana tea-yea, i said banana tea!

I like their onion rings. Many dishes are really good. But, The last time we went they offered no children's coloring menu and no crayons. Why I asked? Children had colored on the walls? What? Are they better than some of the finest restaurants around? Parents and grandparents should complain. I thought it was very anti child friendly. Do they want us to not come and bring our grandchildren and children? That's what it seemed.

I love Cheddars. I don't get to eat here as often as I like because the line is usually long. You get lots of food and it's average priced. I can usually make two meals out of a plate.

tried over and over to place a to go order and each time - ISSUES!. waited forever for bar to pick up phone. when they did, i ordered an item and asked for no sausage - seemed like a simple request for a place that says everything is made from scratch. asnwer was no. sauce is pre-made. asked for a suggestion and bartender wasnt helpful. said i would call back after looking at menu online again. back in queue. waited forever on hold for bar, no one came to phone. hung up. called back. waited again. finally bar picked up. asked for an item on menu and was told that they didnt carry it at that location bc they are a franchise. solo how am i supposed to order from your website if it's not applicable to your location? guy was nooo help. ended up going to a spot down the street from them. failure. i will admit - their in person service is good. but for to go, i always have issues.

This restaurant has been open just a couple of weeks next to the Target in Smyrna and is consistently packed. There was an hour wait on Saturday night -- good news is they have a large waiting area (including tables) outside and it was a beautiful day when we visited. Other Cheddar's location reviews seem pretty spot on -- the place was big, busy and loud. Family of four (2 kids meals, no apps or booze) was $26 before tip -- quite a deal. I had grilled tilapia, vegan wife had a veggie plate. Portions were solid, food wasn't overly salty like most chain restaurants. Server was polite. Waited about 30 minutes for food, but I'm sure the kitchen was in the weeds. We will be back -- good value, nice new building. Wondering if they could use some white noise machines or something to tone the volume down inside, tho'.

I love Cheddar's! The spinach dip is amazing. I'm not a big fan of spinach, but I love theirs. I also like the lemon pepper chicken and broccoli casserole. And for the price, you can't beat it. Service is great too.

My first time here and I was very pleased with the service, prices and food. A good place to go if you are hungry for good American comfort food. I had a 9.99 steak that was a bit tough but was cooked properly and had a good taste. I wish they were closer to home.

Dragged here for a family event. Luckily, the servers lacked the crazy enthusiasm of the last visit. No one cared if anything was EXCELLENT this time around. Matter of fact, when told the salsa was bad, the server agreed and proceeded to bring more of it. It's cheap, huge portions in a loud atmosphere full of screaming kids.

we got there at prime time rush hour on a saturday evening & waited 25 minutes. i don't think that's too bad considering it was packed, and it was well worth the wait. those buttery croissants are amazing. my husband, daughter and i loved all of our food & we each had plenty left over to bring home. he had the steak & chicken tenders -- i tried a little of both plus his red beans & rice, and immediately had food envy. but my order was great too. i had grilled tilapia & shrimp on top of seasoned rice, and broccoli & corn on the side. there was so much on my plate that i wound up bringing more than half of that home. my daughter had corn dogs (i think they're monte cristo dogs or something like that) and fries. bottomless strawberry lemonade...refills were always on time. i wish there was a cheddar's closer to home, but if that were the case we'd probably all be 300lbs. atmosphere was average, but we came for the food anyway. good deal for the prices. the bathroom could've been cleaner, and i wish they had those toilet seat covers. just sayin' (they do take reservations, btw)

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with my parents...needless to say it was busy with the after-church crowd, BUT we only had to wait 15 minutes. Here's the thing that I appreciated most about Cheddar's: impeccable wait staff! We sat down, boom, within 10 seconds our drink order was taken. Drinks delivered less than a minute later. For an app we went with the hand-dipped onion rings. The batter was perfect, as it was nice and thin, and the dipping sauce was very similar to the Bloomin' Onion sauce. For lunch I got the fish tacos, my dad got the Shepard's Pie, and my mom got the pick two lunch combo. The portions were quite good and prices were phenomenally reasonable. For two fish tacos and a side (I went with the red beans and rice) it was only $6.99. We all enjoyed our meals and total bill was only $23.99. Tough to beat. The whole time, our server would bring a new drink before we were even half-way done with our current one. Service is what will definitely keep me coming back!

I heard alot about Cheddars, and it lived up to those expectations, we went mid week no wait for a table, I had the chicken pot pie and coffee( It was the best coffee ever) and the price was right. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Its was relaxing wish there was one in Clarksville.

Now that the newness has worn off, i went again to Cheddars with a friend that used to work there . I had the benefit of knowing what to order this time and it was a decent meal. Again, hard to avoid the fried foods and the cheese... however the service was good and the atmosphere better than before.

The food and service were excellent. I had the ribs, broccoli casserole, and fries. They advertise the ribs to be fork off the bone tender. Their word holds true. The meat came off the bone very easy. The broccoli casserole was delicious as always. My wife had the tilapia and shrimp and was very pleased. Enough about the food. Let me tell you about the service. Our server was a gentleman named Jonathan. He was very menu knowledgeable. He stayed on top of getting us refills. We got there late, but Jonathan took good care of us and did not rush us. It was a great experience!

It's fri July 11 and my wife and I came to Cheddars for a quick dinner . It wasn't as crowded as it usually is donor was great . We started with the onion rings app and wow they were gigantic and seemed to be battered almost in a light tampora. I ordered the baby back ribs with chicken tender combo. Also had mashed potato and red beans and rice. Everything was perfect and the ribs were fantastic ! The chicken tenders were nice and hot . All in all the food was great as was the service

We've seen chedders in a few locations but had never gone to one. Since we were staying around the corner from this one we thought lets give it a try. The host who we believe was the manager was nice enough when he sat us. But after that he stayed behind the bar with a girl that may have been the bartender. He was the loud one in the place staying back there most of the time we were there. The server was also nice enough but missed little things like why most of my meal was left on my plate. The app patter we ordered was the triple choice. Nachos, potato skins and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks good. Skins were chewy and the nachos tasted like a taco bell taco. My rib eye steak overall was good. it was to temp ordered and juicy. However, It was way over salted on one end. I felt like I was chewing on a salt like. It took a whole glass of coke to kill the salt taste. My mash potatoes were so dry even people in Arizona would water them. I asked for butter and never got it. The mac and cheese tasted like kraft with bread crumbs on top. Not bad but not good either. The kids grilled cheese was under cooked (I know, hard to do). The cheese wasn't melted. and Her fries were semi cold. The Baked Spasagna looked and tasted like a big gooey glop of spaghetti and cheese with a plain red sauce. No joke it looked like a bird crapped on a pile of road kill. Not the worst place we've ever been to but it wouldn't make the list of "go to" places. Sorry Chedders but I call like I see it. Oh, The Shepherd's Pie described in your menu should be called a cottage pie. I forgot to mention the runner that brought our food was in such a hurry she almost hit my wife in the face with her plate.

We've gone to this Chedder's twice and love it! They have awesome burgers, chicken fingers, fries, and cookie sundae for dessert:). But make sure to order the cookie sundae soon after you get your main course because it takes 10-15 minutes to bake. This restaurant was love by my whole family...I would highly recommend it!

I think Cheddar's could be a cool place to grab a cheap bite, but I suggest avoiding this location. Again our friends were there and seated a couple of minutes before we were, so we had no wait time. Our server was clueless. My immediate impression was that she hadn't been serving tables for more than a couple of days. While ordering, I asked for "An Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark." She asked me to explain what Maker's Mark was. I explained that the bartender would know. When the drink arrived it was in a half full martini glass (about the size of a shot). I asked her how much it cost, and explained that it is usually a much larger drink. She told me she would find out. I had to ask twice more before she finally came back to tell me it was over 7 dollars. Of course, that price is fine for a normal Old Fashioned, but I told her I couldn't pay that for what she brought to the table. She then apologized, and informed me that the bartender did not know what an Old Fashioned was, and had to look up the recipe! "The probably made it wrong anyways, they never heard of an Old Fashioned". The manager then came to the table to ask me why I wouldn't pay for the drink, and eventually he said he would have them make a new one using a proper glass, only to return a few minutes later and tell me that they don't even have the right ingredients in house to make an Old Fashioned. In other words, the bartender looked up the drink recipe, knew he didn't have what he needed, and tried to pass off some crap on us anyways. I would have been much happier had the server just let us know up front. We could avoided all of that and ordered a different drink. I ordered my steak medium, it came well done. Everything else was cooked ok, but not extraordinary. Which is a shame. I think this place has some cool ideas going with the menu, but the execution is a bit off.

I am taking away 2 stars, I should take more, but I will take in to account I was in an ill mood after the rude hostess told me that she could sit my family of 4 in 5 minutes. She walked off, she didnt put my name down and she didnt give me one of the little pager things that she was giving everyone else. 20 minutes later, after my family was OBVIOUSLY STANDING there right in front of her and her steadily seating other parties who came in after us, I finally walked up to another hostess and asked if we were even on the list and that she (looking at the rude chick) told me she could sit us down in 5 minutes, 20 minutes ago. The rude chick looks at me and says I can sit you down now. I said "Now?" she said yup! She took us to a table that was cleaned a easy 5 minutes prior. Next we order our drinks. I get a water with lemon. Drinks come and there is something black on my lemon. She sees me trying to get it off my lemon so I can see what it is. She said Oh I think its just pepper. I look into my glass and there is a small gnat floating on top of my water. I said yeah, Im gonna need another since there is a bug in this one. We order. We order onion rings and the chips and salsa with a side of sour cream for starters. The apps came minus the sour cream. So when she comes to check on us the kids ask for sour cream (they like to mix their salsa with sour cream) The sour cream comes and there is maybe 2 tablespoons worth in this tiny bowl, kids get over and then here comes our food. I ordered a salad with ranch, I get a salad with honey mustard. My fiance ordered the chicken and steak. The steak looked like it had been cut in half. This is NO WHERE near the size he usually gets with this, and this is the ONLY thing he orders from there. Maybe since it was graduation night and they were busy, they were running low on steak and cut it in half.?? That is what was assumed because it seriously was that small. Overall I was just very disappointed in this visit. Its NEVER like this but this times it was horrible.

I've never had any issues at this Cheddars. I think it's a great chain that offers great food for the price. The service is ways fast & friendly. I love the grilled fish tacos with fries, along with a Caesar salad. You can't fault Cheddars for the price & the quality of the food.

This place is usually busy, although there was a wait for a table I was able to get a seat at the bar. I had the lunch portion of the grilled salmon. It was served on a bed of rice with carrots and peas. Since it came with a choice of two sides, I got a double portion of broccoli, as there was nothing else with which I wanted to pair with the salmon. It tasted great! I had it with a glass of Pinot Grigio.

Possibly the best value to dollar chain restaurant around. Great meals in the $10.00 range. Nice menu from burgers to chicken, ribs, steaks and veggies. All very tasteful. The only complaint I've got is their bread is just a piece of Texas toast. Clean and staff very is always there when needed and friendly.

I tried this place while visiting home with my parents. Our dining experience was outstanding. Service was impeccable from the time we walked in until the time we left. Our waitress was attentive with a great sense of humor and genuine smile. Food came quickly and was delicious. Clarksville doesn't have a lot of decent restaurants, I'll be truthful, mostly just all chains. This place is a chain too, I believe, but a notch up. Decor is lovely. My sister and I ordered Key West Chicken & Shrimp Combos. I got mine with Southern green beans and a baked potato. It came with a pineapple salsa and home-made Terriyaki sauce. There were plentiful shrimp and the chicken was moist and flavorful. We both agreed that we'd recommend this combo. Dad ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and gave me a little of it on a small plate. Wow - it was presented well and delicious, if not a little too sweet for me. Dad loved it and said he'd definitely order it again. (lots of greens, chicken and mango) Mom got 1/2 rack of bbq baby back ribs and seemed to really enjoy them. (coleslaw is yummy! - she gave me a bite) I'd definitely suggest this restaurant if you're traveling through Clarksville and are sick and tired of Ruby Tuesdays (although, the one on Madison Street is very good) and Outback Steakhouse. You will not be disappointed.

My fiance brought me here yesterday after I had heard about it so much from some friends of mine. It was definitely quite an experience. First off, be prepared for a long wait, especially on the weekend. It took us at least 40 minutes just to get a table. There wasn't anywhere to sit and wait so we ended up standing in the aisleway with everyone else, which hurt my back so badly. Once we got a table, the waiter was quick to get our drinks and orders. I decided to order the chicken tender platter with fries and coleslaw, along with a caesar salad, and we split an order of cheesesticks. The salads came out first, and they also included a croissant with honey butter on it. Both were delicious and left me wanting more! Our cheesesticks were also great, and I love the fact that they came with ranch dressing, which I love dipping them in. The food finally came...the chicken was ok, but not the best in the world. I had to dip them in ranch just to get some flavor out of it. I did enjoy the fries and coleslaw though. I got one of their milkshakes for dessert, but it was nothing special. The only complaint I have for it is that they don't offer their milkshakes as a to-go option, cause I was tired and ready to leave. But I still finished it anyway. All in all, it was a nice experience, but I definitely won't go back on a weekend...and once I do go back, I plan on trying some of their other food.

A group of four of us went to eat here while visiting the area. They sat our party right away and immediately the waitress was there to take our drink order. The service was excellent and very friendly! The food was very good as well. I had the steak which was cooked just as I had asked. My husband got the Monti Cristo Sandwhich which he said was good but could have been fried just a little more to get a better crisp. The interior was also clean and well decorated. I would return to eat here when visiting the area in the future.

Average restaurant... not excellent but not bad. Average prices, food is pretty good. Would come back, but not running back. Biggest CON is if you want "to go" you have to come in and order at the bar and wait for you meal. You might as well just eat there. They need to do over the phone to go orders and I'd give em another star.

Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago. Delicious, nice atmosphere, low prices, free chips and salsa... this place rocks! We started with a chirizo queso appetizer which was off the chain. Then I ordered a salad and my boyfriend got the chicken tender platter, which were both yummy too. All in all, a good place to check out if you want good food with a sit down feel but not break the bank.
Time to write a bad review seeing as how all my other reviews are positive. Let me start this off by saying that I hate Cheddars. I hate Cheddars so much and I hate the fact that every time I drive past it the parking lot is filled to the brim.....even at like 2pm. Its like the Nickelback of American dining. The best selling band in the nation......yet the product is garbage. Alright, now I'll tell you why I'm such a hater. Basically because selling portions of those sizes(ENORMOUS) at those prices(tiny) comes at the price of quality......in spades. My wife had the tilapia and I had the chicken fingers on someones recommendation(I now hate them). Everything about that meal screamed pre-packaged, frozen, cheap, and far from fresh. So now not only have I eaten really bad food, but I've eaten a wheelbarrow full of it. I'm surrounded by standing room only DMV-like conditions complete with loud kids and loud parties shoveling copious amounts of really bad food into their faces. Cheddars attempts to deceive you with a "fancy" interior in hopes that you'll forget about what you're eating. And if you remember, you'll soon forget once the food induced coma sets in. Its like everything wrong with American consumerism and gluttony rolled up into 3 convenient locations near you!!!! I realize that sometimes people just want to get full for cheap. Cheddars will accomplish that for you, but so will your grocer's freezer.

Only did takeout during our overnight stay near Nashville. The burger, steak, baked potato soup, and chicken salad were all tasty and well prepared. The fish tacos left something to be desired. The wait for takeout food was as long as waiting for a table. It was fine for a chain, just stick to the traditional stuff.

Went twice loved the atmosphere great prices and good service, but terrible food! I had the country fried steak, Nasty!!! It was like beer batter or something Never had anything like it. After the batter fell off I had this lil dried up tough as nails piece of nasty steak. I had a baked potato, I love Baked potato's but Not that one I threw it away. The only thing I liked was the broccoli casserole, yumm. That is until I went back tonight and it was not that good. I had the onion rings and the chicken tenders and I am here to tell you the only thing making them go from Just ok to a lil better was the ranch. If you read the reviews you will see we all like this place but almost all thinks the food is not so great.

Good cheap food. Always packed. My son's favorite restaurant. The quality dropped a little from the begining but still good.... Just went back today for my son's birthday. They were packed as usual but today the ribs were very good. So in regards to the quality I would say it is hit and miss. Sometimes its ok and sometimes it is great, today my food was great.

Think of O'Charley's, but good. Think of Chili's, only without the corporate branding everywhere. Enter, Cheddar's. This place is great. I discovered it over the summer and it became the premier dinner spot for my girlfriend and I. The inside looks great, the waitstaff was always friendly and the food was amazing. The croissants were just over the top and made the whole place. Fat guy approved!

We loved this place. My niece's husband, Eddie, recommended this restaurant and told us if you love ribs, this is THE place where the meat falls off the bone. Well let me tell ya"...Now Listen UP ...the meat FALLS OFF the bone!! My wife order the ribs and , my wife was ready to suck the rib bones dry. Since I felt like having fried chicken, I couldn't believe the amount of pieces they brought out...all boneless and golden brown. Eddie tried the pot pie and said the next time he comes back, he's ordering the ribs. I couldn't believe how good it was

Okay, I am not going to lie, this was the second time I have been to a Cheddar's. The first was when I tried them in Houston with my family and the service was so bad, if I had reviewed them it would have been at best .5 stars. Maybe it was an off day, maybe it was the location, I don't know. However, my fiance and I decided to try this place for dinner this past weekend after visiting with some family in the area. We thought we would be smart, as we got out to this part of Smyrna at about 5 PM, and kill some time at the Target near by... Big Mistake! By the time we pulled into the lot at a quarter to 6, they were jam packed with cars. It was even more crowded when we walked in and put our names in for what was a 35 minute wait to be seated. Once seated, our waiter was a little slow bringing us our drinks (2 waters) and I was starting to expect a repeat of my first experience at Cheddar's. However, once our drinks arrived, things started moving relatively quickly considering they were very busy. My fiance ordered chicken tenders, fries, cole slaw and a caesar salad, while I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy, fries, green beans and a caesar salad. We also had parmesan seasoned cheese sticks. Now before I continue there are two things you should know. 1) Cheddar's is based out of Arlington, Texas and I am a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. 2) Chicken fried steak got its start in Texas and is a staple dish there. So you would think knowing that their food would be good. Well, for the price you do get a lot of it; however, the cheese sticks, cole slaw and salads were the best seasoned items we got. A lot of the other food tasted bland to me. It is called salt n pepper people. The fries needed salt and were not as crispy as they should be. The green bean... I thought southern style green beans were supposed to have bacon?! The toast that came with my chicken fried steak was slightly soggy and tasted like a first grader made it... I can make better toast than that, and being a Texas based restaurant I expect Texas style toast! To make matters worse, what I am guessing is their signature roll (that came with the salad)tasted better than the toast! The chicken fried steak was a laugh... to much batter was used and as a result it fell apart when you cut it. A true Texas Chicken Fried steak has a batter that is nice and crispy, yet flavorful (Their's was blander than bland), that adheres to the beef filet on all sides with NO GAPS! If you have gaps the breading will crumble and fall off, like it did with this steak. Suffice to say both Luby's and Cracker Barrel have better chicken fried steak, and that is saying something since Luby's is now only in Texas as far as I know, and Cracker Barrel is based in Lebanon, TN! Oh, and for crying out loud, would it kill you all to just refill drinks with a pitcher instead of giving the customer a new glass each time. It would save you the trouble of having to wash far more glasses than necessary, and allow me to keep the lemon juice levels in my drink constant. Yes, I like sour water and sour tea... I am just unique that way; but, my fiance is used to it and the habit is starting to rub off on her. Finally the wait staff seemed very flustered, even with the immense customer load they had, and as such something did not seem quite right with the service.

Love, love, love, love, love! Amazing portion sizes for the price. Definitely recommend the chicken tenders. Get the onion rings instead of the fries. Fast service. Not very clean and always busy, but worth braving a sticky seat and the wait. I'll be back.

(5)Patrick S.

Really good. Drinks are weak!

(4)Travis G.
Great food and great portion sizes. Love their chicken tenders and broccoli/rice casserole.
(5)Mich F.
(1)Gus F.
First time at cheddar' was good. Service was very good and food was decent. The steak was a bit dry but it was tasty. Chicken tenders were juicy and tasted fresh . You must try the mango tea but stay away from the banana tea-yea, i said banana tea!
(3)Susan B.
(2)Brandon C.
I love Cheddars. I don't get to eat here as often as I like because the line is usually long. You get lots of food and it's average priced. I can usually make two meals out of a plate.
(5)Ashley K.
tried over and over to place a to go order and each time - ISSUES!. waited forever for bar to pick up phone. when they did, i ordered an item and asked for no sausage - seemed like a simple request for a place that says everything is made from scratch. asnwer was no. sauce is pre-made. asked for a suggestion and bartender wasnt helpful. said i would call back after looking at menu online again. back in queue. waited forever on hold for bar, no one came to phone. hung up. called back. waited again. finally bar picked up. asked for an item on menu and was told that they didnt carry it at that location bc they are a franchise. solo how am i supposed to order from your website if it's not applicable to your location? guy was nooo help. ended up going to a spot down the street from them. failure. i will admit - their in person service is good. but for to go, i always have issues.

(4)Amber E.
I love Cheddar's! The spinach dip is amazing. I'm not a big fan of spinach, but I love theirs. I also like the lemon pepper chicken and broccoli casserole. And for the price, you can't beat it. Service is great too.
(5)Lonzell D.
Very clean and friendly place to eat! You can't beat the prices and specials they have.
(5)Jack W.
My first time here and I was very pleased with the service, prices and food. A good place to go if you are hungry for good American comfort food. I had a 9.99 steak that was a bit tough but was cooked properly and had a good taste. I wish they were closer to home.
(4)jamesandsue g.
(1)Greg S.
Great food, can't beat the price or quality!!!! Always busy. Friendly service
(5)Sabra B.
Great food, large portions and great service! Paid less than 40$ for a family of 4.

we got there at prime time rush hour on a saturday evening & waited 25 minutes. i don't think that's too bad considering it was packed, and it was well worth the wait. those buttery croissants are amazing. my husband, daughter and i loved all of our food & we each had plenty left over to bring home. he had the steak & chicken tenders -- i tried a little of both plus his red beans & rice, and immediately had food envy. but my order was great too. i had grilled tilapia & shrimp on top of seasoned rice, and broccoli & corn on the side. there was so much on my plate that i wound up bringing more than half of that home. my daughter had corn dogs (i think they're monte cristo dogs or something like that) and fries. bottomless strawberry lemonade...refills were always on time. i wish there was a cheddar's closer to home, but if that were the case we'd probably all be 300lbs. atmosphere was average, but we came for the food anyway. good deal for the prices. the bathroom could've been cleaner, and i wish they had those toilet seat covers. just sayin' (they do take reservations, btw)

(4)Lillie D.
I heard alot about Cheddars, and it lived up to those expectations, we went mid week no wait for a table, I had the chicken pot pie and coffee( It was the best coffee ever) and the price was right. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Its was relaxing wish there was one in Clarksville.
(5)Denise R.
Now that the newness has worn off, i went again to Cheddars with a friend that used to work there . I had the benefit of knowing what to order this time and it was a decent meal. Again, hard to avoid the fried foods and the cheese... however the service was good and the atmosphere better than before.
(2)Joseph L.
(5)Michael R.

(2)Kathryn D.
(5)Cindy K.
Food was excellent and our server, Sam, went above and beyond to meet our needs!! Will definitely be back!!

(3)Billy H.
I've never had any issues at this Cheddars. I think it's a great chain that offers great food for the price. The service is ways fast & friendly. I love the grilled fish tacos with fries, along with a Caesar salad. You can't fault Cheddars for the price & the quality of the food.
(5)David R.
(4)Alan D.
(4)Mary R.
(5)Sammy S.
Awesome food. I have tried several things on the menu have never found anything to be bad. Very good value. Nice ambience in the dining areas. Outside area is great when it's not too hot.

(4)Brandon M.
Great portions, good food and cool atmosphere for the family or a date night. Service is good majority of the time, and not too long of a wait. Love the fish tank over the bar!
(4)Laura H.
(5)Patrick B.
(3)Rick B.
Ordered the tortilla soup. Tasted canned. Zero flavor. Zero seasonings. Flat as a board. Worst I have ever had
(1)Wan S.
Went with the family and out of all the places we went and ate this was our favorite. It's not over priced and the server we had was great. The food was on point and the ranch with fries was my favorite.
(5)Jennifer P.

Location: Located in Smryna (Tennessee, not Georgia) in a new shopping center off I-75. Abundant parking. Atmosphere: Casual dining. Small waiting area. Average size for a chain restaurant. We sat near the large, vertically-parallel fans. Reminded me of the large fans you'd see on the front porch of a country home in the South. They added a nice bit of Southern "charm". Service: Our waitress truly embodied "Southern hospitality". Between her perky attitude, her Southern accent, and her overall charming personality, she made my first (and not my last) trip to Cheddar's that much more enjoyable. Food came out quickly, but timely, and she made sure that we had all the refills, extra napkins, and condiments that we needed throughout the meal. Food: Where else can three people split one appetizer, have one alcoholic beverage each, and have their own entrée for under $45? In Tennessee, that's where! The Santa Fe Spinach Dip was good, though not as good as my homemade spinach dip. I had to request they bring us more chips because we ran out and still had about half the dip left. I ordered the Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms: two grilled chicken breasts with a plentiful amount of button mushrooms with a Dijon sauce with two sides. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and cleared the plate! The food is not 5 star quality. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if most of it is frozen and heated up (a.k.a. "cooked"). Most of the food, I'm sure, I could make at home with no problem. But, the value for the money is there, the selection of food choices is vast, and the atmosphere is very inviting!

Best Food Ever!!!

Their nacho dip is wonderful!!! Hit the spot on a cold evening! They brought it out quickly too, luv it!!!
(5)Lorre F.
(3)Martin P.
Peach tea was sweet and delicious! Bet it had 400 calories! Burgers were fine. Service was very attentive and helpful, not too intrusive.
(4)Paige s.
(2)Greg k.
Only stopped to find a cold beer. What chain still has only domestic light beer on tap? This one. No craft beer. Not good wine, but expensive poor wine. I will give the food a try sometime but was not excited
(3)Ek V.

H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E Think of your favorite food. Think of something to pour over it that would make it inedible. Thats the menu...
