Was in Sewanee recently, for the first time in several months, and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a Sweet CeCe's opened up next to the Blue Chair! As most folks are, I'm a big fan of this chain. Sooo cool that they are in Sewanee! The place is so sparkly and pretty to be in. Smaller than the one I am used to (downtown Franklin) which makes for a really cozy atmosphere. They have all the usual toppings, beautifully arranged, but the reason I can't give it 5 stars (as I would the Franklin location) is that they only had 6 (or was it 8?) flavors of yogurt, and 3 of them were either Sorbets (BORING!) or Sugar-Free. The only "normal" flavors they had were Original Tart, Vanilla, and Irish Mint. LAME! Red Velvet and Snickerdoodle are where it's at. If they would just improve their flavor offerings, I'd give them 5 stars for sure. But at the end of the day: Sweet Cece's in Sewanee? Paradise on the mountain!!
