Panini, Burrito, Daily Specials are super-fine. Service is friendly and in the know. Catering and dishes to go for entertaining at home are a great offering as well. Only complaint is how challenging It is to decide what to order!

Went back again this past week - catering and a large eat-in brunch for 40 people. Tremendous food, wonderful people. Pros: Great food, reasonable prices Cons: Our flood of people overwhelmed them for a while, but they caught up and did just fine.

Food is great and healthy. Menu varies which is nice if you eat there a lot. Staff is very friendly. Cute clean atmosphere.

The food is consistently good. Perfect for lunch. They can be a little slow, especially if they're busy. So if you're in a rush, that should be considered.

They always have a nice variety on the menu and the specials are always interesting! We've had lunch here several times...and have enjoyed it each time. The salads & dressings are great (choices are a balsamic or white wine vinegarette). Can't go wrong with a Sandwhich/Panini here!

Cool little place. Food was average had the fish tacos. Folks were nice. Had 4 beers on tap.

Great chicken salad sandwich. Enjoyed sitting outside in their front yard. Home made bread from monteagle bakery. Yum.

My annual summer at Sewanee is not complete without many visits to Julia's. Excellent food and a creative menu. Tonight I have to applaud Julie and Jake. They were the ONLY two people working and they handled a big crowd by themselves. I sincerely hope that owner Julia appreciates these two young people. I've seen Julie, in particular, cranking the grill for a few years now and, tonight, despite the fierce pace, and some grumpy customers, she was courteous, friendly, and earned my continued repeat business. :)

A wonderful late lunch and a much better choice after 2 when the grill at Shenanigans is shut down. Great Vietnamese Banh Mi, chilled peach soup with fantastic flavor, and desserts to die for. Loved the key lime pie and carrot cake. Definitely a must visit.

Julias is arguably the best food on the mountain. The Bahn Mi and the fish tacos are my faves! But their enchilada specials are usually different and very tasty, especially when paired with their delicious red pepper soup!

Interesting and delightful menu, clean and open dining with lots of light. We had the bacon, brie, and apple sandwich on a French baguette. Tasty!

The menu is creative, the building is charming, the ingredients are fresh and local... but the service is poor. I got the impression that not one single employee had ever worked in a restaurant before. Just a lot of inefficiency. For example, we stopped in for lunch around 1:00pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy, but not slammed by any means. There was a line to the door moving extremely slowly. There was only one employee ringing orders, and she would periodically leave the register to get drink refills or run food. Meanwhile, there were 6 or 7 other employees laconically wandering around, staring at glassware and dishes like foreign objects. Also, when you pay with a card, they prompt you to tip, even though you bus your own tables and have to come in for refills. Basically, the business model just seems askew. However, my fish tacos weren't bad, so there's that. :)

Creative menu. Food was very good and atmosphere was quaint. Will go back for sure! The staff was helpful and nice.

It is so nice to finally see an ethnically diverse menu in Sewanee. The foods are all fresh, beautiful, and lovingly created--and everything I've tried has been delicious. The atmosphere is open and comfortable and well lit. Fig, arugula, and goat cheese pizza--Delicious! I brought it home to share with my family but the crust was so perfectly crisp and the peppery arugula mixed so nicely with the sweet figs that I wound up eating the whole thing myself. Vietnamese Pork Paté Sandwich--I dream about this sandwich. The tangy sweetness of the pickled vegetables mixes perfectly with the flavorful paté. Yum! Fish Tacos--Fresh, grilled, light and oh so good. Most fish tacos are fried, and end up being a little heavy. No heavy batters here--this fish is so perfectly seared it almost tastes like shrimp. Pineapple salsa pulls the whole dish together. Desserts--The Yummy Chocolate Cake may be the best I've ever had, and the Peanut Butter Brownies with oats are unbelievably delicious. The key lime pie is to die for as well. The Mexican Chocolate Torte is a little heavy for my palate, but my husband begs me to pick him up a piece any time I'm there. Julia's is definitely a must-try any time you're Sewanee.

A lovely place, with great food, owned and operated by wonderful people. Delicious, carefully prepared selections from a changing menu.
