Awesome Thai food! They've got the taste just right. Generous portions, easily serves two. We had the basil fried rice, basil noodles and red curry with chicken. Served hot, promptly and great to taste. We're out of towners but would love to come back. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure this place is run by just a couple people. I think the noodle dishes are the best. They can be a little slow if they are busy or if you are in a big group, but like I said, small staff. They have been very friendly every time we have gone. It is best to go during lunch. The prices at dinner are a little steep. The owner is super friendly, I think he is there whenever they are open. At least he has been there any time we have gone. The atmosphere is a little hokey. I personally like hokey though.

My wife and I decided to check this place out while visiting Gatlinburg. We stopped here on our way back to Fort Campbell, and had pretty low expectations being from California, where ethnic food is everything. We entered and the place seemed pretty nice, nice decorations, an authentic feel. We were greeted by the husband and wife who were the owners, she immediately took our drink orders. And we pretty much knew what we wanted to eat as she got back so we ordered our food. I ordered the Pad Thai, which to my surprise was pretty good! It was spicy, like I asked. It had great flavor, and come out sizzling hot, like coming off the grill? Pan? You know what I mean. I completely forgot what my wife ordered so I'll just skip to dessert. We ordered some kind of bananas wrapped and deep fried, served with ice cream. It was good! I've had the same dessert multiple times and I'm a banana person, so there was no way I'd not like it. Overall the place was great. My only complaint, and reason to not give this place 5/5 was the price. No where on the menu do they mention a price for their foods. Our total was $38.00 for 2 noodle plates, 2 tap waters, and a dessert. I figured it'd be somewhere in the mid or even high 20's, but 38.00 is ridiculous.

There's obviously not too many ethnic restaurants in this area, so we decided to try out this Thai place one night. Personally, I was disappointed- their Massaman curry was the worst I've ever had. It was way too watery. And they didn't bother to tell me they were out of avocado until I noticed it was missing from the dish. Others who ordered spicy basil noodles were happier with their dish. Prices were also high for thai food.

I had hoped for a better meal and service, but was disappointed in the Thai Palace on many levels. 1. Two appetizers were "sold out". What good restaurant sells out of things as simple as Cream Cheese Rangoons and Chicken Satay? 2. The server looked and acted worn out. He moved slow. He had to be asked multiple times for something as easy as getting us soy sauce. 3. They brought out 2 people's main course, and then took over 10 minutes to bring out the other 2. My salad came another 10 minutes later, AFTER the main courses were served. 4. The Pad Thai was dry and I would rate it a 2 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best. A good Thai establishment should at least be able to get Pad Thai right! 5. The curry dish my husband ordered, while it tasted good, it was a very small portion for the price. I suggest skipping this place and looking for something better to eat. We sure won't be going back there ever again!

Not my favorite Thai food but definitely not bad. I think the atmosphere killed it for me. There was a video of dancers playing and my boyfriend and I kept getting distracted. It repeated a lot. My basil tofu was slightly bland but not bad. My boyfriends pad Thai was as he says "exactly like what I had in college" and hot. Both of us got a mild/medium and had to drink a ton of water!! If they would change up the video and not bring our food out on a rattling metal cart I would have given it 4 stars.

Quiet and calm, great service, cheerful hosts at Thai Palace in Pigeon Forge beside the Tanger Outlets. I enjoyed a delicious yellow curry with pork and rice, with hearty carrots, potatoes and onions. It was sweet with the right amount of spice and flavor! My wife had the popular Pad Thai with shrimp. They made it the right amount of sweet with a good amount of crunchy peanuts. Highly recommend to any Thai foodies or people looking to try something new! Happy travels!

Great place to dine. Fine Thai food in a relaxed atmosphere. Don't miss out on this place. The pineapple fried rice with pork is topped with cashews. My husband had the basil fried rice with pork in the hot version. The iced tea is real and a good selection of beers is available.

We travel regularly to pigeonforge / gatlinburg. We love Asian/ Indian cuisine and we are always on a look out to find nice thai restaurants. When we saw this place, we were truly excited. This place is right at the entrance of pigeon forge. Not too far away from Olive Garden there. Food was good. We ordered shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice. Very tasty. People serving were very nice. Spacious place. Good rest rooms. Overall, an excellent place to eat at pigeon forge.

Perhaps the place is clean, how ever the service is terribly slow, and I would rate the food to be just OK and nothing more than that

The worst pad thai i ever have ! No taste and overpriced! Its not worth for $13-14 for shrimp pad thai. Pad see aew is ok, average but really overpriced! I feel like wasting money for this meal! I dont understand why people rate this restaurant so high, if the thai restaurant cant make Pad Thai, shouldnt call it Thai restaurant. I ask for red chilli pepper but they gave me the chilli in venigar sauce, are you kidding me? This is not how Thai people eat Thai food. Maybe its good for anybody who doesnt know about Thai food but sorry Im Thai, I can cook better at home. If I dont come here for vacation, this place wouldnt get a single cent from my wallet.

A place to avoid even if you love Thai. Worst service, long wait time even for a drink, waiter who doesn't know what he is doing, food also just OK.

Wanted to get away from burger & fried chicken franchises, and went here for some hot & spicy food. The place is very clean. Food looked okay, but didn't taste very authentic. Shrimps were less than the size of a quarter, and they charged $13.95 for one dish with 5 shrimps. Tom Yum soup had 3 of the same tiny shrimps. Food and the soup were watery. Fried rice were pretty bad too.

Could definitely be better. The food was bland and came with a few surprises( jalapeños and avacado in a pineapple fried rice?). The prices were more expensive than other places for the small portions. All in all - go here if you absolutely must have Thai food and there is none for miles around.

I had some alone time and my family isn't always as adventurous as me. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I had the fried tofu with peanut sauce and the Basi Thai Noodles with chicken. I asked for the hot version and it was a good amount of heat. The waiter was extremely nice and not overbearing. He suggested I try the thai hot next time. I would definitely come back and it's right next to the hotel I usually stay at when I'm visiting here. I wish it was busier though, people are missing out on some really good food.

Love this place! Thai food can be hit and miss but this place delivers every time. I eat Thai whenever I travel and the food matches up well to locations in Atlanta, Nashville and other larger locations. A big thing for me is cleanliness and this place is absolutely spotless. The dining room is simple and well appointed. I can always come here and catch a breath from the crowds we have here. The dishes I have had, massman curry, pad prik were all delicious and properly seasoned to my request. I highly recommend this restaurant for Thai in this area.

While visiting my Mamma in Abingdon, VA, we took a roadtrip to Dollywood (which is pretty amazing in its own right, by the way). In the park we stuffed ourselves with amusement park grub, but upon leaving decided that Asian fare would be a nice change from the day's pace. We were so glad (and honestly, a little surprised) to find Thai Palace. On the main drag to DW in Seiverville, in a strip mall, unassuming. But the food was delicious. The owner met us at the door, and was so sweet and inviting. I had catfish with a pepper sauce. Mother and StepPaPa stayed the safe "pad thai" route, which is never my first choice, but was truly excellent. The only uncomfortable/surreal element to the dining experience was the fact that the sound system was stuck playing one song on repeat during the entire meal. I don't know why they didn't notice, because it was driving me insane. Ah, but the spring rolls! It feels so good to take a chance on a place so far from home, so close to Dolly, and have it be such a gastronomic success. Good luck, little Thai Palace!

We've eaten a lot of Thai food over the years, both on the mainland and in Hawaii. Thai Palace rates among the best. Their pork larb was outstanding, as was the panang curry, eggplant kitchen special, Thai fried rice, sticky rice, and the coconut chicken soup. The fried spring rolls were very good but not at the same level as the other dishes; still, I'd order them again. Service was courteous and competent and the prices quite reasonable. If you get the chance, dine here.

I'm not sure if I was just being naive thinking that Sevierville would have a descent Thai restaurant, but with some ok reviews for the place, we decided to try it while on vacation in the area. I didn't have terribly high hopes, but this place was a real disappointment. The prices were good, but the food had very little flavor. The spring rolls we started with were fine, but the vegetable stir fry in Thai brown sauce, and the tofu pad Thai were both very bland. The food is also far from authentic, and the pad Thai had a strange tomato sauce on it instead of the usual peanut-inspired flavors. The staff was pleasant, but with no one else in the restaurant (Friday night at 7:30 pm), they hovered over our table and made it a bit uncomfortable. They had good intentions though, I'm sure.

Thai Palace. . . . Woohoo This place is great. The service is very refreshing, greeted and seated. The waitress was very nice and polite. The service is outstanding. The food is outstanding, with or without heat your choice since they have the menu broke up to help with what the spice level is for the different items. The tea is great, a good cup of hot jasmine tea always hits the spot. The prices is very affordable, the music is good as well. I recommend this place to all to give a go, and a great word of advice I can give to everyone. . . Do not be afraid to try something new, you might come to like it.

We decided to have Thai while visiting the Smoky Mountains and fund this place just down the road. Being that it looked like every other Asian chain located in a strip mall we weren't overly optimistic. However, we were greeted with a smiling hostess/waitress in a very clean (but empty) restaurant. (We were early for dinner) We both ordered Pad Thai and we were not disappointed. It was very good and at a reasonable price. We highly recommend this place if you find yourself craving Thai in the Smoky Mountains.

Delicious!!!! Walked in at 9pm on a cold snowy night and the owner greeted us at the door. I had the shrimp fried rice and my fiancé got the pad thai, both were scrumptious! Don't let the exterior fool you! The service and the food were excellent!!
