Driving back to Indiana from Florida we found this little dive on Yelp. Being Sunday, we had the buffet and couldn't be more pleased. Quaint and friendly is how I would describe it. The food.... Amazing. My kids loved the meatloaf and Mac n cheese, mine was the catfish, and my husband said everything. You can't go wrong. If you like southern hospitality and comfort food, you will enjoy Juniors.

Food was subpar at most. Staff was very keen and upbeat, always had my glass full. Conditions were regret able and just down right filthy. I had the catfish, it was bland, no flavor, and undercooked. Potatoes are not fresh. Most likely they are instant powdered. Mac and cheese was cold, and had an odd metallic taste to it. "Soup" or should I say chili was cold and without flavor. Rolls tasted premade and not made from scratch, same can be said about the corn muffins with the exception that they were over mixed.

The only positive I could say about this place was the employees were super friendly. The food we had was well below average....almost like a high school kid was making it. It took us almost an hour to get a couple pancakes, a grilled cheese, and an omelette. The omelette was not cooked all the way and the grilled cheese was pitiful looking. The prices are super cheap but I'm guessing because the food is so bad. Will never go back here again

Sara L. said it all! Hometown, USA...Junior's flashes you back in time, many decades! However, the staff is warm and friendly and the food is fresh with a homemade quality. Fried chicken, pastrami, cheeseburger, and onion rings. A slice of Coconut Merengue Pie for $2! This old restaurant is what America should be about...no fast food here!

This little downtown restaurant is timeless, virtually unchanged for decades. They serve comfort food here - Southern US fare, beans and greens, meat and potatoes, fish, breakfast food - and every dessert is amazing. Sometimes, you'll spot Junior himself in there; he may be a little older now, but no less sweet and friendly. The atmosphere is very laid-back and hospitable - a true local's joint, and Southern comfort at its best. The feeling you get stepping in here from off the street on a hot summer's day is like none other.
