Traveling on I-75 and decided to have lunch. Served fairly quickly and the place was clean. Went to order pulled pork for DH and waitress could not tell us if the sauce was sweet. I don't know was the answer. I ordered the burger with pimento cheese and onion straws. We switched sandwiches. The pork was sweet. They had decent sweet potato fries. Large portions, it must have been close to a half pound of pork for $10. All in all a shade better than Applebees. I forgot to mention the burger was cooked correctly a rarity these days even in more expensive restaurants. I would give it another half star.

4/5. Beware of the stare. Once you come inside the main entrance you'll know what I mean. ;) The atmosphere is good, noise is more loud than normal and there are TVs in all of the ones I have been to. Some recommendations: App: potato soup is great, others are OK. Salad: salad is good portion, prepped early so plate may be cold or freezing Meal: chicken tenders are good, peanut-crusted catfish is killer, scrod is OK Sides: fries are good, thick cut potato chips are OK.

This place is never a disappointment. Booth and table always clean. We had a waitress that was training and she was very confident and one of the best waitresses that has ever served me. I always enjoy looking at at the weird and funky art on the walls. Great Job!

I'm personally a big fan of Aubrey's and the food at this location is as consistent and tasty as any of their other locations. The service is spotty. On my last visit, half of my boyfriend's meal came out before we even got our beverages. We also had to wait forever to pay. It was not busy.

The service is fantastic. I can't believe how many carryout orders this place cranks out (probably busier than it deserves, but it's good). Great drink specials. Doesn't wow you necessarily, but Aubrey's is always satisfying (3.5 stars).

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn Express in Powell, TN (Knoxville North) and noticed Aubrey's across the street. We asked the hotel desk attendant if she'd recommend it and she gave it a very high recommendation. So, off we went. I'm SO glad we asked and I'm even more glad that we went to Aubrey's for dinner. It was fantastic!! We were there on a Friday evening and it was packed, but, to me, that's a good sign. A busy restaurant tends to be a good restaurant. We were told the wait would be about 25 minutes and that was accurate. We started with the thick cut potato chips for an appetizer. These, honestly, were slightly disappointing because some of them weren't cooked well - they were floppy. But, the ones that were crisped up were delicious! And the buttermilk garlic dipping sauce was divine! For dinner, my husband had the prime cheddar burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. He's a burger guy and this one hit the spot for him. I had the grilled tuna sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. That tuna steak sandwich was AMAZING!! And, my sweet potato fries were fabulous. We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. It's too bad we didn't save room for dessert because the ones we saw come out looked sooooooooo good! But, I can't vouch for them beyond presentation. If we're ever near Aubrey's again, we will definitely make it a point to eat there. We were very impressed! Highly recommended!

Felt like Applebee's, but the food was not even up to par with Perkins. I don't like chain restaurants, but this experiance was worse than most chains I have been to before. The positive reviews had me a little optimistic, but boy was I let down. It was clean so, I gave it a 2 star.
Had a dinner at Aubrey's and I have to say it is very overpriced for what you get. The food quality and presentation were not impressive at all. I had Granny Smith Steak salad and it was very unimpressive, ingredients were just piled on top of each other. Service was fast but staff was not the friendliest.

Nice casual dining place with a variety of menu options. The portions are huge - I don't think we've ever entirely finished a meal here. Everything that comes out of the kitchen and passes our table looks delish! We've never been disappointed with a meal here.

The meals were all amazing! It's a really nice place to eat. I am a picky eater and I was trying and loving everyone's food! I wish everything would have come out a little hotter but it was all cooked perfectly! We were traveling thru town and decided to stop based on the yelp reviews. I'm so glad that we did! We will stop here again on our way back thru town!

How fortunate that we found a truly good restaurant in Aubrey's Cafe across the street from our motel in Powell. Many times we have asked the front desk staff for a recommendation on where to eat as we have travelled across the country, only to be disappointed by their "kick-back" preferences. Not so with Aubrey's. Not only was the Holiday Inn Express a bargain all the way around (save for a later review) but guiding us to this locally owned restaurant proved to be another winner. I love good fish. But, hard to find if you're not on the coasts. So, a lot of places opt out of that dice game and grudgingly serve some version of Tilapia. And Aubrey's did have Tilapia on the menu; however, I rolled for the Boston Scrod. Yeah, I know, what are the odds? Well, in this instance, very good. The filet was a nice sized potato crusted and perfectly grilled specimen of fish, as respectable as the city where it got its name. Delicious! I won't bore you with all the other details of service, atmosphere, side dishes and silverware. Go. See for yourself. Eat and enjoy. This is a local jewel. I wish we had one in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

The service was very good, the pulled pork nachos were good too. The entres were not so much. The tuna was way overcooked, the grean beans had an odd spice to them and the broccoli was ok. I think I will give this place another shot and hope it was just an off night for the fish cookery.

Any reviewers who did not at least give this place 4 stars clearly does not have a soul. This place is good. It's always good. You always know what you're going to get. The service is perfect. The staff if friendly. It's the GO TO place for a good time. The chicken fingers are awesome. The pizza rockafeller is wonderful. The rattlesnake pasta is a favorite. It's always good. You will never have a problem with your drink going dry. It's a good place for kids ... TIP: get the chicken finger meal and split it with you kids, you'll save money and PROLLY have extra It's funny how people can say how great this place is and give it 3 stars. Seriously folks, give credit where credit is due. EAT HERE ... and be happy. And if you're NOT happy. Tell the dude up front and he'll give you the shirt off his back to ensure that it's fixed.

I wish I lived closer to the South so I can frequent Aubrey's. Ever since I had their Strawberry Pecan Salad, I have been scouring the internet for a recipe to allow me to recreate that fabulous salad. The chef was so generous with the chicken, the strawberries, the pecans. The meticulousness of the chef did not escape my eyes when I noted how the stems of the strawberries were so carefully removed that only the ripe red portions smile up at me from my salad plate. A sucker for the aesthetics - it was a feast for the eyes as well as for the tummy!

I used to eat at Aubrey's at least once a week when we lived in Powell. We make it a point to eat there now when we are both in town. The food is very good and the service is top notch. The restaurant has been there long enough that it really needs to replace the carpet and clean the air ducts, but other than that there's nothing wrong wit the place. I recommend you give it a try.

11 a.m. - 7 p.m. happy hour? Who heard of such a thing? But I will not argue, especially since my family was particulary lax in the cooking dept. on Christmas eve and this was the only place open. (Note to domino's: please update your online ordering site when you will be closed! We waited an hour for a pizza that would never arrive!) Anyway, Aubrey's was pretty dang good, and my sister and bro in law order from here all the time. Each time I've been, I've ordered the 4-veggie dinner and you can't beat their mac n cheese and parmesan spinach. And, the wait staff is super friendly. Please go here instead of the Ruby Tuesday's down the street. Yum.

I don't know if this place is a chain or not but it seemed like it probably was. I tried the chicken finger appetizers as well as the creamed spinach and artichoke dip appetizer with the center cut filet mignon as my entree. The appetizers were passable, not blowing my mind but not disappointing either. The flaky batter on the chicken was nice and light while giving it good flavor and a decent crispness to it. The cesar salad that I had before the entree was so-so. Real light on everything. Completely forgettable. The steak I ordered bloody rare but when I received it it was closer to medium rare, but the very center of the thick cut was red to my satisfaction. I've had better cuts of meat but it wasn't bad. I would say in a pinch Aubrey's is perfectly fine.

I had a decent dinner at Aubrey's- my steak was pretty good and the tuna appetizer was decent. We also got good service. I would say it's a better-than-average chain restaurant, but it's not the place to go for a memorable meal. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.

Dined there New Years Eve. They were packed and service was still prompt & courteous and the food was absolutely delicious. Hubby ordered end cut of Prime Rib. I started with Shrimp Bisque. Entree was pan seared Sea Scallops over Creamed Corn. Sides of Sautéed Mushrooms, Parmesan Spinach and Mashed Potatoes. Everything was absolutely perfect. Will definitely dine there again and again.

Felt like Applebee's, but the food was not even up to par with Perkins. I don't like chain restaurants, but this experiance was worse than most chains I have been to before. The positive reviews had me a little optimistic, but boy was I let down. It was clean so, I gave it a 2 star.

I went because I heard they had a good gluten free menu. I was impressed. The burger and gluten free bun were incredible. Had sautéed mushrooms on the side and they were perfect. Great service and fast delivery of food. A plus experience.

Best steak in the area for the price. Wide selection of drinks from a full bar at good prices. We have been coming here ever since they opened.

The Thunder Road burger was awesome! They have a lot of good beers on tap.

Love Aubrey's! They have fabulous Salmon Tacos, and the thick cut potatoes chips are great. My go to for lunch is the strawberry salad. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the menu options.

The service was very good, the pulled pork nachos were good too. The entres were not so much. The tuna was way overcooked, the grean beans had an odd spice to them and the broccoli was ok. I think I will give this place another shot and hope it was just an off night for the fish cookery.

The service is fantastic. I can't believe how many carryout orders this place cranks out (probably busier than it deserves, but it's good). Great drink specials. Doesn't wow you necessarily, but Aubrey's is always satisfying (3.5 stars).

Their pulled pork nachos are a thing of beauty! Never had a bad experience at Aubrey's.

Good food and a great beer selection. Great salads, and good apps. Ill visit again.

11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Yum.
