Salmon was excellent, only wish thry served a larger amount. Salad was great also but need to add oil and vinegsr to the dressing menu. Fries were really good as was the bread. Overall a great place to have a great meal. Service was very good also.

My family was VERY disappointed in the service we received at this location. It was just after 8pm on Wednesday June 10th and wasn't busy. We were quickly seated and waited to order drinks. Our server was a lady named Sam. Who had 3 tables at the time including ours and 1 of which was just leaving. I had to ask 4 times for bread because we never received any. Her response each time: "Oh sorry". We ordered an appetizer (cactus blossom) which came out 4 minutes after we ordered it, it was semi warm. Very obvious that it was a left over. We had no appetizer plates so we waited even longer. (Still not having any bread). After we finally received some bread I had asked for some butter because there were 6 of us. Sam brought an over load of butter which was different in colors and again didn't look very fresh. I found a piece of an onion in it and was completely grossed out. We could see our server sitting down chatting in the booth across from us. Sam was condescending and not polite till the very end. We all ordered steaks and NONE of which were cooked properly. We asked for Medium steaks and our steaks ranged from rare to medium rare. (See attached picture) We never once saw a manager the entire time we were there. Needless to say, we will not be back this Texas Roadhouse and will be very skeptical about returning to another after this experience.

It is rare for me to give a chain 5 stars but in an area where most restaurants are plagued by bad customer service, high prices and sub par food Texas roadhouse is an oasis in the middle of a desert. I'm not a roadhouse fan boy but when we are in Gatlinburg and want a good meal we drive to south pigeon forge and pull into roadhouse. I've yet to have a bad steak here. The customer service is good also. The local fare carries a lot of fan fare but this chain location carries good food.

I was a bit confused with this place... the staff were largely foreign... European mostly... heavy accents, had a hard time understanding our server. AND some of them were dressed quite lavishly in 80's costumes?? At least I hope they were costumes. But I didn't quite grasp the connection between that and Texas... or does it play into the Roadhouse theme? Someone help me please. #perplexed... Anyhow, my food was good. They're known for their rolls which of course were delish. Nothing else really to share about this place. So... that's it.

Great service and good food what more could you ask for ? My girlfriend and I stopped here before hitting the strip and we made a good choice. The bread is good and BBQ is fall off the bone as advertised. For a chain restaurant I was impressed. I ate a burger as usual and had no complaints.

Our first time to a Texas Roadhouse Were seated within a few minutes Complimentary peanuts and fresh warm rolls! The rolls are sweet and come with cinnamon butter ... Delicious!!! Ordered fried pickles. They came out in a jiff and could have been warmer!!! Almost seemed like they were sitting ready. Nonetheless, very tasty Main dishes were New York strip with baked potato and house salad It was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic Sirloin with baked potato and corn The sirloin was delicious The corn a tad too sweet Chicken fried chicken with creamy gravy and with mashed potatoes and house salad as sides The chicken was tender and delicious. Our server Amelia was very attentive and very nice!!! Over all a very pleasant first experience and we would come back

Great experience. We had a party of six with a handicapped person and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Loved the rolls with honey butter. We ordered New York strip steaks and bone in ribeyes. All the steaks were properly cooked and the sides were great. Everybody agreed that the dinner salads were particularly delicious. The staff and service was excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Service was absolutely fantastic. Ask for Randy to be your server when you go! The ribs were okay. The ribs were quite firm and hard to pull apart, but the side dishes more than made up for it. The chili and steak fries were superb! Great southern atmosphere.

Service was ok, kids food had mold on bun. We ordered kids food as soon as we sat down since our child was very hungry after a long drive. Ten minutes later we ordered our food and an appetizer, our appetizer come before the kids hot dog, sad! Much better in area, save your money!

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a good steak at a decent price while on vacation, and we were more than satisfied with our choice. Went on a Sunday evening, busy but only a short wait. Our waiter was Sergi, I believe he said he was from Russia on a student exchange program. Very nice and helpful server. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and the lady ordered the porterhouse. For chain steakhouse, I was very happy with it. If you in the area, give it a shot

Here's the beef First off....if you are gonna bill your self as a "Road House", it should be a place where out law bikers and rough necks go for a steak. Next....the true definition of a Road House is a place that sells guns and ammo along with bar items (see my review on Brocks Gap Service). Now apparently peanut shells have replaced bullets. Oh well. So I left my biker sleeve less jean jacket in the mini van and went in. Friendly staff, chef flipping steaks on the visible grill. Empty peanut shell casings on the floor. I sat against the wall next to the life size Dolly Parton picture. Just for visual reference....one of Dollys hooters are as big as my head.....I measured. .....anyway, my burger was done right. My wifes steak was done perfect. .....yes, she was not impressed when I asked if she had a measuring tape in her purse. The wait staff was prompt. The even wear shirts that say "I love my job". That's probably most of the time until some dudes angry soccer mom wife asks if we can move to a table away from the Dolly Parton picture wall (after all the food has been brought out). Hypothetically of course. Bottom Line: Don't expect to catch a band playing on a stage protected by a chicken wire screen either.

Good eating for sure: I chose a few places to go out for a late lunch to my wife in Pigeon Forge, and to my mild disappointment, she chose the Texas Roadhouse. I know she chose this because it's generally a good chain, but I like to take a chance on more local flavor, and this just ain't it. To be fair, some of our attempts to try more local fare have gone badly. Generally the customer service has been lacking. That being said, it's hard to complain about the Texas Roadhouse. The T-Bone steak I had was excellent. My wife was very happy with her Ribs. The rolls were excellent, and the sides well well-cooked and tasty. The only thing I'll say is that I think our server was either new or just kind of stupid. She really didn't know how to handle herself. She was friendly and prompt, so the rest of it was pretty well handled. Plus the guy who brought me my steak asked me specifically to check my steak to see if it was cooked to my satisfaction, and no other place that I've been to this year has done that: that was a nice touch considering I've had to send a steak back recently due to it being well-done when I asked for medium. My recommendation is to go here when you don't think anywhere else can be trusted. It's a safe place to go, even if it isn't a locally own spot.

2nd time here, second time no more than a 3 star experience. I got the serloin-grilled shrimp combo. The shrimp was very good, but the serloin wasn't that good...lacked taste. Applebees serloin steak is much better.

No alcohol. Also, they won't cook a burger any rarer than medium-well and they call themselves a steakhouse? fake cowboy vibe. good for a laugh but no real character to be found.

I would give this place 4 stars, but my nephew's steak didn't look very good....looked dried out. However, the rest of our food was good and the service was decent.
