Wow,I guess i will state with the fact that the cottage cheese was the same temperature as the fried catfish. The food was not seasoned at all . The price was really cheap, so maybe if they raised the prices a little they could afford better products. The place was clean,so were the restrooms. For a buffet place the decor was good. I just feel like the food choices were lacking and the desserts were made very cheaply. Nothing was exciting or homemade. This place was like a golden corral clone with half the choices. They really need to work on keep ing hot food hot and cold food cold.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers expected from a place that advertises a $6 lunch buffet but I got exactly what I expected. The place was very clean but a bit outdated. It seems that in its day it was a very nice restaurant! The majority of the customers were elderly but I enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was very typical of what you'd find in a small Tennessee town...lots of pre-prepared stuff bought frozen off a truck and heated up or deep fried. Fried chicken, instant potatoes, and vegetables from a can. They did have a good salad bar with lots of fresh veggies! The dessert choices were more frozen-prepackaged options. Overall, I spent under $10 and left full. The service was friendly and the building was surprisingly clean.

This place is a JOKE of a steakhouse. This place was about 2 doors down from the hole I was staying at and I should've know better, but I wanted some steak and didn't want to drive so I took a walk. I don't even know how to even describe this place. It felt like a fast food steakhouse, a first for me. I know that judging a place on how it looks can be very misleading though. Upon looking over the menu, I was surprised and the various amount of cuts they had available to choose from. I think thy had prime rib and I almost ordered it but the "cheap" feel of the place deterred me. I'm a big fan of prime rib and a lot of "nicer" places can't even get it right so I settled on the delmonaco in medium rare. When the food came out, it just looked awful. I knew right away I was going to be disappointed. The steak was white like a pork chop and it was cooked medium well. It certainly was not a delmonico. I ate it without complaining as I don't like to do so and create a hassle for all the workers. In and out I go. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for a steak. They might have something else that might be better but certainly not the delmonico.

Prices are reasonable.

Why this place is called a "Steakhouse" is beyond me. It's a senior citizen diner (I'm a senior myself) and the restaurant must think that all seniors have lost their sense of taste. Also, there is sooooooo much sodium in the buffet foods that I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest half way through my meal. I guess the excessive sodium is to flavor the old food.

Good basic steakhouse with good salad bar. Had the blackened prime rib which was quite tasty. Fried pickles are a good appetizer. Tilapia was nothing to write home about. Stick to steak.

Do not waste you time here, the staff is indifferent and they do not have time to wait on you, yet they have time to stand around and talk with each other. We sat there for FIFTEEN MINUTES tonight waiting to be waited on. We finally walked out and went elsewhere!

All the way from California, we came to visit family that lives in Dresden, TN. I wanted to take the family out to eat at a Buffet Style restaurant since everyone has different "likes". This was a great choice. It was a Late Saturday afternoon and there were 6 in our party. We were seated right away and the waitress was VERY friendly and personable. She made us feel very welcomed. We all chose to eat from the buffet instead of ordering from the menu so I can't speak about what choices are on the menu. We had plenty to chose from on buffet. Chicken, Beef Steak strips, Stuffed Peppers, Frog Legs, Pastas, Mashed Potatoes, several different vegetables, and lots more that I didn't eat. There was a LARGE salad buffet table to make any type of salad you can imagine, and also a LARGE dessert table. Drinks were served at the table. Soda, tea and coffee. The waitress came often to check on us and made sure our drinks stayed full and asked several times if we needed anything else. Our family was very happy and VERY FULL when we left. The place was very clean, and comfortable with friendly service and all the food I tried was very good. Never felt "rushed" either. I suggest you try it. :) The best part was at the end......OUR BILL!! It was only 8.99 for adults and 6.99 for the kids.

I ate here one time while driving the length of U.S. 79 from Round Rock, TX to Russellville, KY (on the way to Indiana) and stopped here because I was hungry. They had two of the best pork chops I've ever eaten. The service was a bit on the indifferent side, and I could have done without the crying kids and their parents who yelled at them all throughout dinner -- but those pork chops were *truly memorable*!
