I discovered three stones a few weeks ago when I was living the frustration of a transplanted football team. I had called a couple of bars and no one seemed to have the Eagles game on any of their TVA. Finally I remembered passing three stones pub not fair from my apartment. I called and he said that TVA were first come first serve and they had a couple open at the moment. Score!! Since I only live a few minutes away I knew I had it made. Made my way to three stones. The first Sunday the Titans were also playing the earlier game so there was a nice crowd of regulars rooting for the home team. Bill the bartender, who is a great bartender despite his unfortunate taste in football teams, he's a Giants fan, set me up at a little table directly across from a TV set to my Birds. I have since been back every weekend I'm in town and we play Sunday afternoon. And every time has been a great experience, three stones totally reminds me of the neighborhood bars I grew up in in suburban Philadelphia. Plus they have both Cider on tap and Yuengling. When the birds are struggling I switch to the home state beer hoping that turns it around. You've seen the commercial.. It's only weird if it doesn't work. The food is typical bar food but pretty yummy. The burger was a little dry but their wings are exceptional. Personal preference here; but I get annoyed when people don't have regular fries. They have seasoned curly fries( not a fan), tater tots, and sweet potato fries. Overall everything I've had has been decent.

This is a nice pub for locals. Great burgers, patty melts, philly cheese stesks, etc. Ten beers on draft. Many characters at the bar. Ntn trivia every night. Live trivia on Thursdays. It is worth a drive to Bellevue. They survived the flood and came back to survive.

Great atmosphere and people! Happy hour is everyday, food is beyond amazing and fresh, and there is a wide menu selection. Definitely rate this place 5 stars! Great great place that everyone should bring the family to!

This is a great place!!! Service was excellent!!! I had a Swiss mushroom burger and the sweet potatoes fries were awesome!!! My companion had the grouper sandwich with tots and it was tasty!!! Appetizer was pickle chips---they were "slap yo momma!" good!!!! 10 beers on tap!! Awesome awesome awesome!!!!

Good food! I had the grilled chicken wrap and my husband had the cheeseburger! Both were very good. They also have really good sweet potato fries. The cheesecake was topnotch!!! I've also had the grouper before and it was really good too. Friendly staff. We will be back!

Boringly average. Don't bother.

Family friendly grill and Bellevue neighborhood pub describes John's place. Open starting lunchtime with fair prices. Sandwiches, desserts, appetizers and simple entrees are affordable with sides under $2. Free wifi.

So me and my 17 month old son. Decided to go in. Place was dead. But wings were on sale. So I got him some tater tots to GNAW on and throw at the people that were there and also half stab me with my keys he was playing with. Tots were what you expect them to be. Fried potatoes. So...draw from that what you will...it's sustenance...but not the best food in the world by any means...though one patron did say "I never get tired of eating here!!"...while I was thinking..why would ANYONE be excited to be eating at a place that tastes like 8 billiion other places in America? But whatever, some people are stupid so lets not blame them (blame their parents for being stupid and not broadening their minds or their taste buds...it's always the Parents fault).. So I got some wings...5 hot...5 buffalo. Honestly couldn't tell the difference between either, but at the least they were huge wings...so there's that right? I ate some of them. Pretended to like them or so that's what I told the bartender who was serving me. I definitely had more fun chatting with my 17 month old in a near silent pub than I did the food that's for sure. Would I go back? Maybe. Because I mean. They do sell beer there. So there is always that.

Great food but really slow service.

Overall: Little neighborhood bar and grill. Nothing more, nothing less. Food/Drinks: The food is nothing special, typical pub food but it's not bad. Then again, I don't set the bar too high when it comes to places like this. There are drink specials almost every night so that's a plus. Atmosphere/Service: Everyone that works there is nice and attentive, can't beat that! It's in a little strip mall in the middle of the Bellevue neighborhood called "River Plantation." It flooded back in May of 2010 so I'm happy to support businesses on the rebound!

I have tried. I really have. I have graced their bar stools a number of times but I have yet to shake the disapointment that inevitably discends upon me on each visit. The draft is always flat and the bottled beer warn. (sin!) The parade of "food" I have received on each visit is all seasoned with a liberal helping of bland with a side of "if I wasn't drunk I wouldn't eat this" I realize that this review is a tad harsh but it will not effect the loyal neighbourhood regulars. They love this dive and will fill its register with cash and their guts with buckets of bland until the culinary gods see fit to smite it from it's corner of the burbs.

Three Stones was a perfect stopping spot for the whole family. Our kids had chicken tenders and a cheeseburger and the chicken was real with a good breading and healthy portion of fries. My daughter who had the cheeseburger said it was "great" and my other daughter kept stealing bites. I had the pulled pork which was exceptional and my wife had a chicken wrap and loved it. We indulged in cheesecake and it was better, and 1/2 the price, than The Cheesecake Factory. The bakery is excellent. Highly recommend for everyone. Very good menu and specials.

Such a fun spot!

There is something nice about a restaurant where you feel more like family than a customer and that is what the Three Stones is for me. While I do not get in nearly as often as I like, it is a fun place to sit, have a beer, and maybe even grab a small bite to eat. The menu is a bit limited and you won't find much in the way of health food on the menu. I have had a two stone burger (2 patties) and the fried grouper and both were nice. I personally like it with the potato salad although the sweet potator fries are nice as well. My favorite is just sitting down and trying the varietals they bring in on tap. While the tap selection is not anything like I have seen in Austin, there is enough variety to have a choice in beer consumption. I also like when the owner's husband is there and recommends a bottle he has acquired.

Great service every night. Fun place to go and always something happening. Could use a bigger beer selection, but I hear they are working on it!

Brought out-of-towners here last weekend because we wanted to try a friendly neighborhood place. Service was fine, but it took about.. 45 minutes or so for our food to arrive. We had a diabetic guy at our table asking for like crackers or something to eat because it was taking so long. Our table had a bunch of items, that I can remember there were pork BBQ potato skins, which were good but just a LOT of food. Black bean burger was pretty good. Service was ok, but with only about a dozen customers in the restaurant, I'm not sure why it took almost an hour to get our food. Might go back since it's really close to my neighborhood, but there wasn't anything remarkable to make me really WANT to go back.

My toddler son and I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I felt a little hesitant about the deserted parking lot but forged ahead. Besides 2 employees, we were the only ones there. It's a small, dark sports pub which isn't really my thing. It is clean with concrete floors, dark walls, sports memorabilia, and several TV's. I felt like I'd walked into a man cave while the man was recovering from a hangover! I'd researched the menu on their website and was looking forward to some fried green tomatoes! When the waiter / bartender handed me the menu, they weren't listed. He said they didn't have them anymore. Boo! The prices seemed a bit high for a sports pub with burgers and sandwiches in the $8-$10 department. The prices on their on-line menu are lower than what you encounter when you go! I opted for a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The guy told me they were out of sweet potato fries! Double boo! I ordered it with tater tots. The burger was quite tasty! It was well-cooked, quality meat with a good bun. The tater tots were alright, and the toppings were decent. They did serve it with 2 pieces of romaine lettuce with thick rinds in the middle! I had to tear the lettuce off around the rinds to make it burger friendly. Our server checked on us a couple of times (no one else came in while we were there!) He was friendly and my son liked him which is always a good sign. They need to update their on-line menu! Still we may give it another try...

Great place with incredibly delicious baked goods to boot! Very hospitable staff, would definitely make this a regular spot if I lived in the area.

I hadn't been here since it was something else and that something else didn't last long at all. Three Stones has been here far longer, so they must be doing something right. It's a decent sized restaurant with bar located in Ricer Plantation. There were a few game machines inside and they regularly have trivia and poker. I also asked if they had NFL Sunday Ticket and was told they do. They don't have a lot of TVs and the TVs they have aren't big, but there are enough TVs to watch every NFL game that would be on at one time which is good enough for me. The menu is typical bar food. Chips and salsa, wings, tenders, sandwiches, and burgers. They had casseroles which stood out to me. They also had fry options which is always good in my book. I was asked if I wanted sweet potato fries or curly fries, which is always a no brainer. I ordered the fried egg burger and curly fries which were delivered pretty quickly. The portions are huge!!! The burger is a pretty good size and the plate was overflowing with fries. The burger wasn't anything special and sadly the egg didn't save it. The egg was overlooked so the yolk wasn't runny, which I like on burgers. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and on top of things without being overbearing. My sweet tea was always filled when it was halfway empty. She also let me know they have Pepsi products, which I always want to be made aware of because it's just not the same as Coke. I would be back, mostly because the location is great for me and I love bar food. I also like playing games and watching games in bars. I like that there was a pile of board games to the side. I also like that it's nonsmoking. I like that the owner was just hanging out at the bar. I like that everyone else that was there when we were walked home. I like that the bartender said they closed whenever the last drinker left, whenever that is.just a lot to like about this place.

If you want fried food and friendliness, there's really no better place. "Alright already!" I wanted to say when the bartender raved for the third time about the hand breading on the fried pickles---but then i tried them. I would have told me at least four times. The tater tots are obnoxiously crunchy and delicious. The buffalo chicken tenders are stupid tender. The beer flows and flows, but don't expect taps fancier than Lagunitas IPA. This is not the place for a fine rye Manhattan. We'd have gone back just to hang out more with Brian, the bartender, but I was worried I'd eat another 650 tater tots.

Great neighborhood hang out! Even though families are welcome, it's STILL a neighborhood bar...language and cocktails fly freely.

Great local pub! Awesome service, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everyone that works here really takes pride in the food and the atmosphere. They have yummy daily specials and great happy hour prices! The Pizza Burger was amazing, and the wings can't be beat. It's my favorite place, and totally worth the drive if you live outside of the Bellevue area.
