Nice size and great pasta! Perfect location north of Broadway, near Printers Alley, as well as proximity to BB Kings/Wildhorse/Brazilian Steakhouse. The service is rock solid. Some tables aren't too clean though.

Wow talk about over priced and poor quality....And the bathroom facilities were disgusting.....3 pieces of pizza and 3 drinks...35 bucks..could've had two courses each at demo's......Wow...very disappointed...great location...terrible EVERYTHING ELSE....NEVER AGAIN

Sbarro is a nice change from eating at Chick Filet every day and the price is good. But, ((( don't you just hate that word?))) they could heat the food up a bit better. The pizzas are prepared ahead of time and the slices are larger but the oven doesn't heat them up enough..by the time I walk the 1/2 block back to office..the food is stone cold and not as good.. I did enjoy the garlic bread stick with marinara sauce .99cents each but again, not very warm. I like the food. I would eat there again.

The chain typically has an array of multiple pizzas by the slice, stromboli, some pasta dishes, salad and garlic bread. All good, filling and inexpensive. This Sbarros is good as well and is in a terrific location on Commerce street in downtown Nashville. This Sbarros is different in that it has a large seating area. Great for families or groups of tourists/travelers after sightseeing. Reliable stop!

While not known for gourmet pizza, this particular Sbarro's is below most in quality and cleanliness. Airport locations for some strange reason seem to be better. Strengths: Cheap and walking distance in downtown Nashville. Opportunities: Pizza is not fresh. Low traffic does mean you don't swap out after a while. Place could be cleaner and layout needs work. Summary: Many better pizza choices downtown if you have the time.

Wow! It's food of some sort! Ok, the food and service was not bad the last time I went (it has been terrible before), in fact the last time I went would have been 3.5 stars or so, had I not stepped into the bathroom. That erased whatever positive experience I had from this place. Imagine an unvented truck stop bathroom that hadn't been cleaned in a month, and a bathroom that had not been updated since about 1985. I mean, there's newer stuff there, but it was scary dirty, and I sort of think it's treated as an afterthought. I decided I would go elsewhere, but washed my hands just because I had touched the handle which was dirty and eased on out the door. I mean, honestly, if the employees are using those bathrooms they need to wash their hands after opening the door it's that bad looking. I mean, this was the type of filthy that I imagine on Hoarders: Buried Alive. I mean, this is all I can think of with that experience at the restaurant - I'm shocked they're allowed to stay open, let alone keep the Sbarro franchise name, with a bathroom that looks like you should be dying slowly on heroine in. trying to forget that horrible room of stench and despair, the pizza was actually about the best Sbarro pizza I've ever had (which was odd because this particular place has disappointed several times). I would never order there again if the employees touch anything in that bathroom on their way back to work however. But damn, I have to commend them on recreating New York Subway public restroom circa 1981

Your average pizza place. Nothing special just somewhere to grab a quick slice before heading out to downtown.

On balance, bad. Pizza slices are decent but holy smokes! One plain slice and one pepperoni slice with a SMALL side salad cost $11.50!!! Wtf? My friends had pasta and lasagna - the former was mediocre and the latter, terrible. If you need a cheese fix, head across the street to El Rey.

Pizza tasted old. Service was bad. Food is way overpriced!!! Won't be eating here again anytime soon.

Went for a quick bite, so I could catch the Nashville tour bus. Pizza slices I got were fresh but the server seemed uninterested...but the cashier was charming. I like Sbarro...but something about this particular one didn't seem right.

This is the "I drank too much & have to get food asap" joint! It's convenient to all the downtown bars and the closest place open at 2am when your ready for food and bed!

Pizza was good but I soon regretted ordering here after a visit to the restroom. Filthy... in a "every drunk in the city has vomited here and not once has it been cleaned" way.

My wife and I stopped here with our two kids for a quick bite to eat, as pizza is never a bad option for picky kids after a day of traveling in the car. Unfortunately, this was absolutely the worst pizza any of us have ever had. None of us were able to finish our pizza and we tossed $22 into the trash can. We had two slices of pepperoni, one slice of cheese, and one meat lovers slice. The sausage tasted terrible, the cheese was barely even melted, and all of us found the sauce to have a very odd taste. The restaurant was dirty and added to the disappointing quality of the pizza. We have eaten pizza from other Sbarro locations that had good pizza, but this location was terrible. Save yourself the trouble, and money, and go somewhere else.

The Sbarro on Commerce is a place that I've visited a few times when I've been in Nashville for CMA Fest (the big annual country music festival). It's a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to get good pizza while you're out and about on 2nd Avenue taking in the fun activities that downtown Nashville always has to offer. The staff has always been friendly and the pizza is always good. The other reviews I've noticed on this website are way too harsh. This is not a 5-star restaurant - Sbarro has good pizza and this location couldn't be any better for those who frequent downtown Nashville and need a quick meal.

I asked myself and my partner. Why are we here? That should say enough about the food.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
